She ran for almost five months, kitsunes don't tire often, until she reached a valley with mountains surrounding parts of the landscape, with a fairly large great lake to the south, at the edge of the mountains there was a forest Satsuki in her human form looked around and moved towards the forest. It was a full moon so the forest was lit by its light. As she explored she saw a wolf but it was no normal wolf it was a werewolf. She recognized the sent
'Theo?" she asked as the wolf turned to her and charged. She stood there and did not move or flinch when he got closer and closer. He was about to pounce when the sun started to rise slowly he turn back into the older man with brown hair, same coloured eyes and as he stood to his full height of six foot he blinked and said
"Satsu?" he asked, confused.
"Satsu?" she chuckled
"I can't say yer name I hope it's alrig't I gave you a pet name."
"It is quite alright. I escaped but I do not know where I am."
"In the Scottish highlands, my dear." he exclaimed with much love for his home.
"Is that far from Japan?"
"Too far my dear."
"Oh. . . is there any chance I could go home?"
"I'm afraid not my dear."
"I guess I will make this place home."
"You'll have ter talk ter the locals." he said as he walked deeper into the woods until they saw some centaurs talking in a clearing. They stopped their conversation and looked at the dishevelled man and lovely woman.
"What brings you to this palace?" asked a centaur with copper skin on his upper human half while the lower horse half looked more like a clydesdale with a beautiful onyx sheen.
"This is Satsu, she was taken from her home in Japan and has no way back."
"I was hoping to make this place my new home if that is alright with you."
"My name is Aguir. What makes you think we would allow a human to call our woods their home?"
"I am no human, I am Sasuki princess of the kitsune clans of my home land and I will not be disrespected. If I choose to call a place my home I would die before it falls and protect every being that calls it home as well."
"We have seen your coming little fox and we are not too sure we should allow you to call our forest home." said another older centaur with skin as white as moonlight and a coat that was as gold as his skin was white. "I am. . . "
" Regus, I know I am what you call a seer. I have seen this encounter before. I know the cause of your worry but I can promise that the future of this land will be bright." she assured the centaurs.
"If you are certain of this then you may stay." Regus declared to the rest of the herd. Satsuki stayed in that forest for years and made friends with the elves, spiders, centaurs, unicorns, some trolls, and even more creatures. Her best friend was Theo. He came and visited her with his family when they recovered from their illness. Theo and his wife soon passed away though their children all grown with families of their own kept visiting there came a time when they no longer had time. Satsuki understood she had many other friends she had to protect. She would sometimes wander farther away from her valley home and would come across more creatures one the locals named The King of the Land. He was what the humans called a graphorn. The centaurs called the humans who carried magic sticks witches and wizards the sticks were called wands. It was odd for her because the 'wizards' back at her home land where called Onmyōdō or otherwise known in the modern tong people who used The Way of Yin and Yang and they didn't use wands they used their minds and souls like she did, the best were at one with nature so they would pull their power from the elements as she did.
