I wish that you didn't leave. I can't help but think that there was more I could have done to keep you safe.
I think of you every time I leave the house or even cook a meal. I always hope that one day you'll come home, that this all turns out to be a horrible nightmare, even though I know it won't happen.
In any case, I hope you're safe. I don't know if you'll ever see this letter, but I love you always and forever.
