2."You make me feel...you make me feel, he said quietly, I don't like it. I want it to stop. Now + no war/ massacre

He was fine before he met her. Quite frankly more than fine. Perfectly adequate. He had been content with what he had been given. All his life he had lived in a world without a blunder. Sasuke had two loving parents and a doting brother. Even going so far as cultivating the friendship of one gaudy blonde. To put it simply, Sasuke Uchiha did not aspire for the whimsical ideals of romance or anything pertaining to that girl. He had an unconditional need for solitude and just be. However, this was not how life rarely worked. No matter how much he desired for it to be that way.

If only he could escape his thoughts for a little bit and reclaim them back. Recreate his own world where his heart was still his and free. Where his clear view was not obscured by her blue. Sasuke ran a rife hand through his hair, his patience in itself now dwindled out like a small fire.

Okay, he tried to recount everything from the top. It still did not make sense. She had a crush on Naruto, not him.

Sasuke Uchiha was a low maintenance man and to refuse this reality was ironically more demanding than being stuck underneath the heavy burden of uncertainty. He realises why it's called a crush. The feeling of being violently subdued, broken and damaged by this intense infatuation. He had been dragged back into the tangled tide of lilac and blue. Never the keen swimmer, he let the feeling take him completely under.

He could handle it. He would just have to keep it hush. That is easier said than done though when the universe is adamant on teaching him a remedial lesson on control. It's maddening now, because his brain is running in tandem. He can't stop himself from thinking about her and his thoughts become incendiary. Burning to the surface of his face in singed pink.

He can be sure of this now by thinking so much his mind becomes

It only gets worse when the others notice. His bastard Sensei is first to say something mid spur. Sasuke scarcely manages to miss the swift kick to his head, folding into the momentum that throws him backwards. The action winds Sasuke enough for Kakashi to gain the upper hand, crowding him against the tree with an onslaught of closed fists. Sasuke throws up a cage of arms.

"You're turning soft, Sasuke," he jeered.

Sasuke's face does something unusual and turns an unbridled red. The skies are leaden in dark grey tufts and he feels like something will burst if not his patience then the clouds— and he is right. It is the red glint in his eyes that bursts open.

Walking silently among the trees and the cooling hum of the low sun. He clutched the bruise quickly forming on the cusp of his ribs. The path is long enough that when he does reach the compound, the sun no longer hangs.

He slumped down on the genkan Shoji door slides and it's Itachi with a pale look, tired that softens gradually into a weathered smile. His long hair that sprouts like reeds. The smell of rain and wet leaves clung to his brother's hair. Throws down the clusters of things in hands.

Deep in thought, there was this otherwise strange expression on his brother's face that goes far further than he would like it to. The light from the shoji doors casting warm yellow halos. He knows what weary looks like etched on brother's features but this is not it. Fingers splayed, Itachi steadied himself against the wall, his stacked heel landing smack on top of Sasuke's sandal-clad toes.

"Bastard."

"The track caked my sandals." His face tilted sideways like a bird with mirth , to see that sideways-smile. Itachi's pale and fixed gaze, smiling into depths.

"There's something different about you, he said. "I can tell by your energy," he spoke again absentmindedly, his finger pressed to Sasuke's forehead. And then a startling look warms his face for a second before his anger is flaring and all but clawing its way to the surface. Earth now smudged on his forehead, he quipped up wiping away the mud with the back of his hand. Itachi could almost feel the blood rushing in his ears as his brother stalked to the door, his face twisted in disgust and anger.

It's a chill night now that the sun has nestled itself away, the stars smoulder darkly. It's here where he found her, her back turned to him. Practising gentle fist the purple chakra.

He observed her in a seemingly detached manner and finds there is a lilting grace to her movements. He watches the tonnage of shoulders in a sharpened silence as her dark tresses that fly in feather motions. Somewhat like she's dancing. but to what he does not know. Perhaps, to the roar of the chakra as her body goes to sway and bend into the attack.

Sasuke studied her at length and then feeling overcomes him. His body is electric and his feet overtake him one after the other, picking up momentum. The chakra leapt and hissed ever higher before he reached out with his pale limb. Sasuke let the blazing lips kiss his hands. He lets the palms of his hands be immersed under the fleeting warmth of chakra.

He does not miss it for a second the way her body stiffens in one tight stroke. Hinata's eyes settle in an oblique manner, finding themselves in the dirt and she bends towards him in a deep bow. Her hair falls gently like rain.

"Gomenasai. Please do not tell my father."

He stared at her fixedly."You make me feel...you make me feel,

and I don't like it. I want it to stop.

Now."

"Uchiha-san, wait!"

There's a flash of confusion on his face, then the familiar bravado: She chases after him and he can feel the stiff apology brim on her lips.

"You know I pity you , Hyuuga." He laughs but she does not understand and her eyes border on tears. Still something bursts and blazes , shining through in his eyes.

The conversation settles mercilessly into the dirt between them.
