Parasite Eve: Black Berets

Prologue

Soviet Union, RSFSR, Morskograd, Soviet Army street, 23:45. November 7, 1989.

"The worst foe lies within the self..."

– Parasite Eve slogan

November 7, 1989. The first incident with Eve occurred on the territory of the Soviet Union. At 00:07 Moscow time, in Morskograd, Primorsky Krai, there was a massive spontaneous combustion of people in the building of the Palace of Pioneers, which caused a fire in the building. The USSR Government, Politburo and KGB Second Main Directorate could not ignore the strange fact of spontaneous combustion, so it pulled the KGB forces and Internal Troops units into the area in advance, and the city was evacuated under the guise of exercises...

Burning corpses, the smell of burnt flesh – that's what the soldiers of the 211st regiment met when they entered in the Morskograd. The clang of BMD tracks echoed through the empty streets of the city as a column of three BMD-3 and four BTR-82A advanced along the main road. The BTRs and BMDs rotated their turrets, the barrels of automatic thirty-millimeter guns menacingly looked at the windows of buildings and the road, and paratroopers armed with Kalashnikov assault rifles, RPGs and PKM settled on the armor – this is the winged infantry, the pride of the Soviet Army. Now, they have to face a threat that humanity has not yet met - Eve. One of the soldiers, adjusting the strap of his belt, looked around with some tension, sensing something was wrong – his gut clearly told the young man that something would be wrong…

- Товарищ старший лейтенант, что-то не так?* - one of the soldiers asked him tensely.

- Not like that… I feel that it will be fucked up. And the heat is all over my body... - the young commander answered him, quickly examining another panel house.

The whole city was deserted in a matter of hours… Indeed, there was not a single living soul. Someone died, and someone escaped during the evacuation, the city was taken into a blockade, martial law was imposed, checkpoints were placed at the entrances and exits, bridges and key approaches to the exit from the Morskograd were mined – in short, they took all measures so that mutants or Eva could not leave the city territory.

A column of armored vehicles drove out to the main square, their headlights flashing in the night darkness. Having stopped, the captain and the lieutenant got off the armored personnel carrier armor, after which they tried to peer into the all-consuming darkness of the night. They could see the fountain, benches, "green corners" represented by rosewood, shrubs and other trees. The park on the main square of the Morskograd was beautiful, but still, everything was quiet – there was a dead silence, which was interrupted by the whistling of the walking wind. The smell of burnt human flesh hit the nostrils of Dmitry, the column commander and the soldiers – the whole park was littered with the corpses of burned people who were not lucky enough to meet Eve.

- Матерь Божья**... - Dmitry whispered, looking at the "mass grave" of hundreds, or even thousands of people killed. This, to put it mildly, he did not expect. The guy's face acquired an expression of fear, conveying the entire palette of emotions that he was experiencing now.

"So that people just took and burned themselves alive? This can't be happening!"- he thought, trying to come up with a more sane explanation for the death of such a huge number of people.

- No fucking way... - the captain said, looking with round eyes full of horror at the charred bodies of the dead.

Now, the case has taken a large-scale turn...

- Dismount! Go, go, go! - Dmitry ordered, looking into the distance and holding the assault rifle at the ready, simultaneously hiding behind a concrete wall.

Soldiers with weapons at the ready were getting off the armor of armored personnel carriers and BMDs, taking cover and staying closer to their own. In a matter of seconds, the entire landing force dismounted from armored personnel carriers and other equipment, preparing for battle. One of the sergeants gestured to two soldiers to reconnoiter the situation. Two paratroopers quietly got out from behind their shelters and made their way through the park, which looked more like a place of mass auto-dafe. They slowly walked most of the way, but immediately saw a strange silhouette, more like a human, which slowly turned in their direction, and in order not to be noticed by this strange creature, the scouts hid behind benches, lying on the asphalt, fortunately they were still hidden by vegetation and concrete plant pots.

Suddenly, the young lieutenant and the rest of the soldiers heard the screams of two colleagues who were engulfed in flames – burning soldiers were visible in the distance. They were screaming in pain, rolling on the ground, trying to put out the fire that was coming from their bodies, and behind them was a mutant that looked partially like a human – a truly terrible picture: a creature two meters high, with long arms and claws, a human face and torso, and legs turned into a kind of snake tail. The appearance of this creature made Dmitry more scared than ever. Even the torture of the Mujahideen looked like a children's matinee against the background of Eve. Eve's next victim was the captain, who was standing next to the lieutenant. It flared up like a match, piercing the air with an agonizing, painful cry. Everything was happening so fast that no one could immediately react.

Petrov, realizing that his time had come, filled with fear and some rage, shouted at the top of his voice:

- OPEN FIRE! – he shouted, getting out from behind cover and shooting at the mutant with a automatic rifle.

Immediately, the machine guns of BTRs and BMDs autocannons, assault rifles, machine guns of soldiers "started talking", loud explosions were heard – RPG and RPO 'Shmel" were working. All this menacing echo of firing weapons, the waltz of lead, explosions and flames merged into a single unison. A powerful rebuff from the Soviet soldiers forced Eve to retreat deep into the city to heal her wounds there.

- Damn... it looks like now I'll have to sort out this mess... - said Dmitry, looking at the charred corpse of his commander and realizing that now he commands the entire unit sent to destroy the biological threat.

- Comrade Senior Lieutenant, what are your orders? - Kondratyev asked him, approaching the guy.

At this time, he was in confusion and despair, clutching his head. The youngster did not understand why everything was happening so quickly, why he did not catch fire, and where the mutant came from here. The incident raised more questions than answers, but Dmitry, after all, pulled himself together...

- Let's move on. We will find out the location of the enemy and organize an ambush. - he answered him, only outwardly stopping panicking.

- That's right... comrade Senior Lieutenant... - Konstantin answered the young guy, after which he headed forward, through the park.

The feeling of excitement did not leave him, but he could more or less give orders and think sensibly, and not panic. At least now, Lieutenant Petrov decided to take on the burden of responsibility in such a difficult situation – to command the entire column.

- The first group - on me, the second - on Kondratiev. Kondratev, your task is to scout the south-eastern part of the city. The third one follows the standard route. Vehicles - goes according to plan. - Dmitry said. No one condemned the lieutenant's orders: at least this man knows what he is doing. Well, or it just seems that way...

The VDV groups split up and headed in different directions, the armored vehicles went along the roads where cars used to go. Dmitry and his soldiers were walking in the direction in which this creature escaped. After walking a few blocks, the group did not find Eva. It seems that she has gone much further than they could have imagined.

- Fuck... and where do we look for her? She could be anywhere! - one of the soldiers asked someone, but their thoughts were interrupted by a long, loud growl, followed by the appearance of one of Eve's creatures – a mutated yard dog, disfigured beyond recognition.

The huge mouth, speckled with fangs, half-naked fur, a body with falling pieces of meat and exposed flesh, muscles and some internal organs that could be seen with the naked eye through holes in the animal's torso, caused genuine horror among Soviet soldiers. Dmitry was also no exception to this rule: his pupils dilated with fear, his hands began to tremble a little, but he aimed the gun, after which he put the whole clip right into the mutant. The dog howled, then fell to the ground with holes in its body, from which blood oozed, and one of the soldiers fearfully poked at the corpse with the barrel of a machine gun - suddenly this creature, which had previously been a dog, is still alive. Fortunately, this creature was killed, once and for all.

The soldiers continued to move through the blocks, while somewhere in the distance the rumble of autocannons and machine guns could be heard, which spurred the soldiers to run even faster than ever. At the same time, the lieutenant was quickly thinking over a further plan of action, simultaneously trying to navigate through the streets of Morskograd, and the closer the group of soldiers approached the right place, the louder and clearer the shots were heard: in addition to the sounds of automatic guns, assault rifles, they could clearly hear the firing of automatic rifles and RPGs.

- Двигайтесь быстрее, блять!**** - the lieutenant hurried his soldiers.

At a very fast pace, Petrov and his soldiers ran through the quarters of the city, and soon they found themselves not far from the Palace of Pioneers, where a battle was just going on between Eve, her mutants and groups of paratroopers. BMD and APC opened fire on the mutant, firing her with lead from automatic cannons and machine guns, the soldiers, sitting behind shelters, fired at Eve. Suddenly there was a loud explosion – the RPG launcher hit her exactly.

Dmitry did not just stand and watch, despite the fact that the fear in him did not go away, but rushed along with the fighters into the thick of the battle, where he shot at the mutant with an AK rifle.

Pressed tightly against the wall of a multi-storey building, the lieutenant looked out from around the corner and began to scupper Eve with lead, thrusting clip after clip into her. Pressing the trigger, instead of a shot, a click was heard – the ammunition ran out in the weapon, but the fight had not subsided yet: several soldiers burned alive, engulfed in fire, falling to the ground and screaming in agony, at the sight of all this horror, Dmitry began to grope even faster in his pouch for a clip for a machine gun, and finding it, he grabbed it tightly and inserted it into his AK, after which he pulled the bolt and continued shooting.

Eve, slowly levitating, retreated to the Palace of Pioneers, trying to get into the building faster... but then there was a loud, coughing explosion. A sharp, unbearable pain pierced her back – she was hit with an RPG, from the barrel of which smoke lazily rose. The cumulative grenade practically tore her skin to the meat, leaving a healthy hole through which pieces of flesh, minced meat and what had once been internal organs could be seen falling out. The following was even more surprising and frightening: how could she survive being hit by a RPG launcher? However, even this did not stop the mutant, who continued to move towards the building under a hurricane of rifle and machine gun fire, simultaneously taking several more soldiers' lives, burning them alive. Dmitry came out from behind the building, after which he approached the stopped column of armored vehicles, next to which there were soldiers. Kondratyev, seeing his commander, approached him.

- Comrade Senior Lieutenant, you are just in time: this mutant is now in the building. A great opportunity to finish him off right here. He won't run away now... this time. - he hoped that here and now they would finish her off, in the place where it all started.

- We will take the building by assault. Fortunately, we suffered small losses, so we have enough forces to carry out this operation. - Dmitry said to him, having examined the Palace of Pioneers.

- I need a group of six people to cover me and storm the building. The plan is as follows: my group will go through the main entrance, Kondratiev and his men – through the back. The rest of the groups are to cordon off the building, except for the fourth and fifth: you will climb into the building through the windows. Any questions? Is everything clear? - Petrov was waiting for an answer from the others.

Fortunately, there were no questions, and about six to eight soldiers were out of order. Beckoning them to him with a gesture, they followed the commander to the entrance. The other groups also occupied positions: Kondratiev and his fighters were preparing to enter through the back of the building, Petrov - decided trying to break through the main entrance with his own. Without wasting time, both squads stormed into the building. Once inside, Dmitry could see with his own eyes a vast reception room with a table and a table standing nearby, an empty dressing room, a staircase leading to the second floor, and two doors - on the left and right sides. Realizing that time was running out, the lieutenant ordered to go upstairs – the other two doors lay on Kondratiev's squad and other groups.

The paratroopers quickly climbed the stairs, then approached the door that Dmitry knocked out, and as soon as this happened, the squad burst into the theater room, opening fire on Eve on the move, hiding from her lasers behind rows of chairs. Along with the others, Petrov shot at the mutant, trying to pick out her most vulnerable spots, and one of the soldiers fired at her with an RPG, and immediately found himself engulfed in flames. Immediately, the fire began to spread to other soldiers who did not understand the nature of spontaneous human combustion. The machine gunner, who was next to Dmitry, flared up like a match, and the last thing the lieutenant heard was the death cries of his comrade, who was rolling on the floor. There was complete silence in the room, occasionally interrupted by the moans of Dmitry's burnt companions, while Eva slowly levitated between the rows, looking for Dmitry – the only survivor of the whole group.

- Where are you, you pathetic human?! - her distorted, rough female voice echoed throughout the room. Dmitry, clearly understanding how this could end for him, began to retreat to the exit, making short runs between the rows, climbing higher and higher, but at the same time not leaning out above the chairs. When he reached the upper rows, the guy leaned out from behind the chair, pointed a machine gun at her and opened fire. The automatic burst did not harm her, but at the sight of Petrov, she smiled with a grin distorted by sarcasm and contempt for him:

- Well, well… I thought everyone was dead… But you are the only exception… I can feel your cells calling... - began Eva, who was being held at gunpoint by Dmitry.

- What are you even talking about?! – with surprise and fright exclaimed the young man, who did not take his eyes off her, looking at the mutant through the sight of the assault rifle.

- It's okay, if you don't understand... your mitochondria will understand without words... - smiling maliciously, she looked at him more closely. A wave of heat and an attack of lethargy instantly passed through the young lieutenant's body, which almost knocked the guy off his feet. Holding the AK rifle with trembling hands, he said:

- КАКОГО ЧЕРТА?!**** WHAT... WHAT HAVE YOU DONE TO ME?! - Petrov cried out.

- Твои клетки зовут... прислушайся к ним, и скоро... ты проснешься...***** - the creature replied.

Dmitry squeezed the trigger of the automatic rifle, releasing the entire magazine from the AK-74 into it. The bullets flew as if from a geyser, and such a leaden rain significantly dampened the ardor of Eve, who tried to kill him with her lasers. Replacing the empty clip with a new one, he dodged its rays, simultaneously pressing the trigger. The assault rifle started firing again, but the young man tried to hit more accurately at the target, which he did: the bullets flew right at the target, but it was problematic to inflict any damage to the mutant, especially when two automatic clips were spent on it, but even that didn't hurt her.

To Petrov's delight, Kondratiev's squad came to the shots, which included soldiers with RPGs and rocket-propelled flamethrowers, and they had already opened fire on Eva. Two explosions thundered – shots from grenade launchers, as well as "Shmel" hit the mutant, from whose back the skin was already peeling off and pieces of meat were falling from burns and injuries inflicted on her. A loud, piercing scream echoed throughout the theater, after which the creature tried to escape, realizing that in a confrontation with another group of paratroopers, she simply could not stand it – RPG and RPO would not give her a single chance, and the logical solution in such a situation was to escape. Quickly retreating to the exit, Eve left the building of the Palace of Pioneers through another exit...

- Fuck! This creature escaped! - the senior lieutenant swore, but still, they have to look for Eve again.

The guy himself and his newly arrived partner followed the same path that the mutant managed to escape. She didn't have to look for a long time – BMD autocannons and BTR-80 machine guns rumbled nearby, and the rest of the soldiers joined the battle. Immediately, Dmitry and Kondratiev, together with the fighters rushed to the place where the column was fighting with the mutated something. Having taken up positions, they opened fire on Eve, who had been fairly stuffed with lead, some soldiers burned alive, but the shooting did not stop for a minute.

- When will the helicopters arrive?! – one of the soldiers asked Petrov about air support. Shooting back, he shouted:

- It will be soon! Radioman here, now! – he shouted, waiting for the arrival of the soldier he needed. The messenger immediately ran after the radio operator, and in a minute, he was next to Dmitry. The lieutenant took a radio and contacted the headquarters of the neighboring battalion:

- Прием, это Осина!****** The enemy is pressing us with fire, we are suffering losses! We urgently need choppers, bullets don't taking this bastard! Our commander was killed, I took command on myself! - the guy was yelling into the radio.

- Osina, this is a Sokol. Kobra and Berkut are already on their way, they will arrive soon. Priyom. - came the reply from the headquarters.

- Roger that, Sokol! Notify the other battalions, if possible, Osina out! - putting the radio aside, Senior Lieutenant Petrov again began shooting at the mutant, counting the minutes until the arrival of air support, the situation was heating up, Kondratiev's detachment and the column began to suffer losses. Suddenly, there was a loud explosion – the BMD-3 exploded, burning down along with the crew and ammunition. The BMD turret soared into the sky like a ball, flew a few meters, and fell to the ground, began to smoke. It seemed that there was no way out, and the Soviet soldiers could only wait for their fate – to burn alive…

The roar of helicopter blades sounded in the sky, the whistle of rockets was heard, several explosions thundered. A pair of two Mi-24s arrived on time, starting the cover of armored vehicles and fighters from the 211st regiment, showering Eve with a hail of FFARs, fired at her from YakB 12,7 mm machine guns, while launching a "Shturm-V" at her. The missile rushed straight to the target, and even when Eve tried to escape, the ATGM hit exactly the target. This time, the effect was stronger: the mutant was almost torn in two, throwing her aside.

The rocket rushed straight to the target, and even when she tried to escape, the ATGM hit exactly on target. This time, the effect was stronger: the mutant was almost torn in two, throwing her aside. After a long shelling from firearms, armored vehicles and aircraft, she turned into some kind of piece of fleshy, pulsating biomass. Blood and orange mucus oozed from her wounds – such damage did not go unnoticed for her cells, which began to slowly undergo the process of necrosis. Dmitry, seeing how Eve was slowly dying, approached the mutilated piece of meat, which could be called the body of a creature with a stretch, and fired a burst from a machine gun at her. There was a barely audible moan, and the remnants of the lips on her face moved a little. Suffering from pain, she croaked:

- Pathetic human... You and your friends won, but... my sisters will continue my work… I'll be back... - she managed to say before Dmitry's automatic burst finished her off.

Looking at the mutilated body, from which life was slowly disappearing, he said with some anger and reassurance:

- We finished you off… Fucking bitch... - he was a little happy with the fact that it was over, but the fear still remained, even though it would seem that everything was already over…

- Comrade Senior Lieutenant… It looks like that's it… She didn't manage to reach the rest of the city, so the damage is minimal. The maximum that remains to be done is to clean up everything from mutants, remove corpses and any signs of Eva's activity. We don't need any extra panic. - Konstantin told him, waiting for an answer from his commander.

- You are right, Comrade Lieutenant. It's worth cleaning everything up properly. I'll have to try to explain, but otherwise you're right. NBC troops will clean up this mess. - Petrov answered him, after which he called a signalman, took a radio and reported to headquarters:

- Priyom, this is Osina. The biological threat has been neutralized, I repeat, the biological threat has been neutralized, send a sweep team. Priyom.

- Osina, this is a Sokol. Roger that, we are sending parts of NBC Forces. Excellent work, Comrade Senior Lieutenant. Nevertheless, let's not forget about the fallen comrades. Without them, we would not have achieved this victory. Sokol out. - after the response of the command, it remained only to wait for the arrival of reinforcements.

Dmitry was somewhat concerned about the events that had taken place: he was depressed, stronger than usual, which his friend noticed.

- Dim, it's all gone, buddy. Don't drift! We'll be back home soon. - Kondratyev tried to cheer him up.

- I know, Kostya. I just have a feeling that this is just the beginning.… It's strange that I didn't burn out like the others… She was talking about- - the guy didn't have time to finish his thought, as Dmitry was interrupted:

- What was she talking about? - asked his comrade-in-arms, interested in what had happened.

- About mitochondria… I wanted to hint that I would "wake up"... then, I experienced incredible weakness and fever all over my body. I don't know what this is connected with... - the guy answered him.

- Very strange. - Konstantin said in surprise. So far, Dmitry has been thinking about what Eva said until he came to a logical conclusion: if he has immunity to her, then he is somehow connected with her. What if he can also become like Eve?!

- Слушай... if I start having seizures, or I start talking about the superiority of mitochondria over people - don't listen to me, put a bullet in the forehead. – the lieutenant asked him, giving instructions in case Eve's mitochondria start to get the better of him.

- Wh-what?! Are you crazy?! - the senior lieutenant said with shock and fright.

- Нет. This is so, just in case... Suddenly, if the same fate will overtake me... And if you hesitate in such a situation, remember - this is an order. - Dmitry explained briefly.

- I believe that everything will be fine. - Konstantin answered him.

- So am I. - Senior Lieutenant Petrov told to him. The column of armored vehicles slowly moved forward, and the soldiers combed the area. It was all over... Despite such a short time, it left a serious mark on Dmitry's memory. But he couldn't even imagine what would happen next...

Eve managed to kill several hundred more people and a number of KGB agents and soldiers of the Internal Troops, after which she was eliminated by the 211st Guards Parachute Regiment that arrived. For outstanding bravery and courage, the regiment was awarded the Orders of the Red Banner and Lenin, and young Lieutenant Dmitry Petrov was promoted to senior lieutenant and the Order of the Red Banner, for courage and heroism shown during a combat mission. Also, about 24 soldiers were either awarded or promoted, the rest received the medal "For Military Merit", and after reviewing what happened during the investigation, 12 people received the title Hero of the Soviet Union. Among them was Dmitry Petrov. The 211st Guards Red Banner of the Order of Lenin Parachute Regiment was reformed into the 211st Special Guards Red Banner of the Order of Lenin Parachute Regiment, and the personnel were reassigned to the special forces unit- OBU-9 (Отдел Биологических Угроз-9, Otdel Biologicheskih Ugroz-9, Department of Biological Threats-9). The incident in Morskograd was marked with the stamp of "special importance", and references to it were erased from all sources.

Japan, Tokyo, Taito district, the building of the hotel "APA Hotel Asakusa Tawaramachi Ekimae", 16:12. February 3, 1990.

In Petrov's room, his old acquaintances, who had received leave during their service in the GSVY, had already gathered, decided, as they say, to recall the past. Not only the old moments of the service, but also to discuss what is happening today. Well, and of course to drink — no friendly feast can do without it. However, the captain himself was a teetotaler, so he limited himself to juices, soda and juice. However, no one looked at him askance — everyone in his regiment knew about his sobriety, which is why no one offered him alcohol. Now, many gathered at the table, which was dragged from the kitchen, sat on chairs and sofas, right next to the TV to watch the news. A report of the NHK BS8K TV channel was shown from the screen. The young female presenter, correcting the folder with papers, began to speak:

Moving on to the news of geopolitics: The People's Republic of China has sent a protest note to the Soviet Union in connection with the deployment of SS-26 Stone, SS-23 Spider mod.5, SS-21 Scarab mod.5 and SS-20 Saber mod.3 short-range and intermediate-range ballistic missiles on the territory of the Mongolian People's Republic. The head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the People's Republic of China, Qian Qichen, said that with this step, the Soviet leadership "escalates the international situation and threatens the security, peace and coexistence of the two powers." To this statement, Andrei Kozyrev, the USSR Foreign Minister, expressed concern about the Chinese protest and replied that "the deployment of short- and medium-range ballistic missiles on the territory of Mongolia is not aimed at China, but only a measure of preserving the independence of this country."... - she said on Japanese language.

Well, the Chinese have stuck their tongue in the ass again! And before that, every Chinese politican was talking about how the Soviet Union "occupied" Mongolia! — many officers here understood Japanese, and therefore the help of an interpreter was not required. There was a heated political discussion that would last the whole night...

German Democratic Republic, East Berlin, Berlin Wall, 00:21. Оctober 7, 1991.

I follow the Moskva down to Gorky Park

Listening to the wind of change

An August summer night, soldiers passing by

Listening to the wind of change

The world is closing in

And did you ever think

That we could be so close like brothers?

The future's in the air,

I can feel it everywhere

Blowing with the wind of change

Take me to the magic of the moment

On a glory night

Where the children of tomorrow dream away

In the wind of change

Hmm

Walking down the street

And distant memories are buried in the past forever

I follow the Moskva and down to Gorky Park

Listening to the wind of change

The Berlin Wall, a symbol of the Cold War, which has long since sunk into oblivion in the late 1970s and early 1980s, was guarded from huge crowds by the border guards of the GDR and FRG, and brave men from both sides tried to break through the checkpoint to see - "How's the neighbor?"...

Emily, hurry up! — shouted to the girl the guy who was trying to get closer to the Berlin Wall faster. An East German guy and a West German girl loved each other sincerely, but their love has been separated by this cold wall for a long time, and it seems that this world order will come to an end...

Now, Mark! — the one who had already approached the wall also shouted. Graffiti is painted on the west side, and the usual gray surface is on the east side. They were at the forefront of the crowd that shouted "Tear down this wall!". Both he and she, taking sledgehammers, pounded on the wall with all their might until a crowd of people broke a hole in the wall through which a person could pass. Now, they could see each other without missing a pass...

Take me to the magic of the moment

On a glory night

Where the children of tomorrow share their dreams

With you and me

Take me to the magic of the moment

On a glory night

Where the children of tomorrow dream away

In the wind of change

The wind of change blows straight into the face of time

Like a storm wind that will ring the freedom bell

For peace of mind

Let your balalaika sing what my guitar wants to say

Mark was the first to penetrate through this hole, warmly hugging his beloved, after which they kissed, firmly and tenderly. Their tongues intertwined with each other while the others, not hiding their happiness, passed through the already open checkpoint. The crowds saw both the flags of the GDR and the FRG, as well as the converted flags of the FRG, on which the East German coat of arms was sewn...

Take me to the magic of the moment

On a glory night

Where the children of tomorrow share their dreams

With you and me

Take me to the magic of the moment

On a glory night

Where the children of tomorrow dream away In the wind of change

In the German elections of 1991, the left-wing won. The SPD (Sozialdemokratische Partei Deutschlands, Social-Democracy Party of Germany) came to power in the country, who began an active detente and a policy of peaceful coexistence with East Germany. The result of this was the warming of relations with the eastern neighbor, and then the further unification of both countries into a unified GDR on October 7th 1991, with the preservation of non-aligned status and recognition of the country's neutrality. Some time later, during a national referendum on March 24, 1992, 78% of GDR citizens expressed a desire to join the CMEA and the Warsaw Pact. Their wish was granted.

Georgian Soviet Socialist Republic, Sukhumi, Leselidze str., 05:48. June 5, 1992.

– სამშობლო, პატივი, ერთგულება!(Motherland, loyalty, honor!*)– shouted a Georgian dressed in "Flora", a 6B5-15 bulletproof vest and with a SH-68H hemlet on his head. On the uniform itself, all stripes were torn, somehow indicating belonging to the USSR and its armed forces, and nationalist ones were sewn instead of them: a five-cross flag and a green circle with gold edging, in the center of which was a shield with a cross, where red and blue squares were arranged crosswise, on the red squares were the crosses are golden in color. There was an eight–pointed star on top, and all this was framed by a golden wreath - this patch was the symbol of the Kaikhosro Cholokashvili* regiment, which was distinguished by the highest morale compared to other units. Next to him was a young guy about 17 years old, holding an old AKM in his hands and cowardly looking out from behind the brickwork.

Commander, I'm not going in there! There are more of them than there are of us! – he said in a trembling voice.

– Why is that? Forward, for the great and free საქართველო, ჯანდაბა! – he said, looking at the young soldier with some contempt. The commissar did not know Russian very well, which is why there was such a construction of the grammar of words. But at least he is fighting for the freedom of his people, against the occupation by Soviet ghouls, and this sucker is not even trying to do something for the sake of independence! At the end of the fighting, when the morale of the separatists was rapidly falling, many tried to desert or surrender to the first units of the Soviet Army, but few succeeded: commissars from the above-mentioned regiment and the like were assigned to each unit to monitor discipline. Cowardice and desertion were punishable by death. Even being isolated in Sukhumi, while being in one of the three isolated encirclements*, they still remained an organized force.

– Do you want me to shoot you? Then pashel vpered! – with a kick in the rear and a shot in the air, he sent him to the trenches, with the same forcibly conscripted as himself. The militants did not disdain to send young people to certain death in order to delay their inevitable end. But the Soviet crews of the BMP-3 and BMD-4M were not going to open fire on the young soldiers...

At the same time. BMD-4M of the Guards Red Banner 211st Parachute Regiment of the Order of Lenin.

The city was covered with black smoke from fires and fighting. Another explosion was heard in the distance – another cruise missile overtook its target, destroying it. The column of equipment was far behind – so far, only the advanced reconnaissance squad was sent, to which Petrov also went, on his own initiative.

The target is the commissar in the building, the first floor, where the hole is. I see him through the thermal vision. – the captain in the role of the gunner opened fire. The 30-mm autocannon tore the body of the militant into pieces, after which he moved forward under the cover of infantry. Right there he saw the following picture: having lost the main "core", the young boys sitting in the trenches ran either to surrender, or to fight against their oppressors. In the city itself, which is strange, there was shooting long before the arrival of recon units – a split had already occurred in the ranks of the separatists, and those who were forcibly "enlisted as soldiers" turned their weapons against the "guardians for the freedom of the Georgian people." The Soviet units had only to enter the city to finish off what was left of the enemy...

On May 25, 1992, there was an uprising of Georgian separatists secretly supported by China. The "thirteen-day war", as it was dubbed in the press, ended with the complete victory of the federal troops and the suppression of the rebels. The Sukhumi cauldron was liquidated by 9:01. Okumi cauldron – June 6, at 10:12. Dertseil cauldron - June 7, at 6:25. The commander of the garrison of militants voluntarily surrendered so as not to put at risk those who could still survive. Separate scattered units resisted the Soviet troops until August, after which they were forced to capitulate due to huge combat, non-combat and sanitary losses.

The Warsaw Pact was reformed with the trend of the times - the Warsaw Pact countries had the right to a free interpretation of socialism, but at the same time the economy of the Warsaw Pact countries was unified, along with a single ruble zone. On December 30, 1991, an agreement on collective security and allied mutual assistance was signed between the Warsaw Pact countries in connection with the arrival of new countries to the organization. The treaty was signed by the Soviet Union, the GDR, Romania, Bulgaria, Czechoslovakia, Hungary, Poland, Mongolia, Albania, as well as Yugoslavia, with which it was possible to establish diplomatic contacts. During the ethnic conflicts in Yugoslavia in 1991-1993, the Soviet government supported Milosevic in order not to cause the collapse of the country, and assumed the role of peacemaker in Yugoslavia, suppressing separatist uprisings and sending humanitarian aid. Not only the ATS underwent reformation, but also the COMECON - the Union of Mutual Economic Assistance, which all former members and observers of the Soviet COMECON and ATS joined, including Cuba and the DPRK, at the same time replenishing it with a dozen new countries. The USSR was not only able to become a socialist and at the same time a democratic state, while retaining territories, but also to surround itself with allies and raise international prestige.

December 24, 1995. The second incident related to Eve occurred on December 24-25. According to GRU intelligence reports, samples of Eva cells were created in Kyoto, and one of the women, who is the wife of the scientist who supervised this project, was infected with these microorganisms. In order to prevent the "New Morskograd" in Japan, Dmitry Petrov's group of eight people was sent there, with the legend that they were important American scientists in Japan...

A cold night. Kyoto, like the sky, was plunged into darkness. The street, lit only by lampposts, neon signs and moonlight, looked especially beautiful. A young girl was walking down the street, she looked about 25 years old. Walking along a well-lit street, she furtively straightened her hair, preparing to go home…

At the same time, Dmitry, Kondratiev, as well as several soldiers, while on the roof of a multi-storey building, noticed a woman who fully fit the description of intelligence.

- That's her. - said the paratrooper, looking through the sight of the VSS "Vintorez".

- Everything is according to plan. - Konstantin answered him. Through binoculars, he saw how she began to pass near the construction site, fenced. In the sight of the rifle, Dmitry saw a construction crane that was lifting concrete slabs for the construction of another house.

- Comrade Senior Lieutenant, you can't miss it. We need to calculate the moment. - Kondratyev told him, having understood Petrov's plan at the moment when he focused on the fastening on which the plates were held. Here it passes just under the slabs…

A very quiet, inaudible shot sounded, more like a puff of wind. The bullet hit exactly on target, knocking out the fastening of the ropes, and the concrete slabs with a booming whistle fell right on the girl, turning her body into minced meat...

After careful surveillance, on December 24, at 23:45 Tokyo time, the target was eliminated, and the murder was arranged for an accident, during which Kiyomi Narashima was crushed by building materials that fell due to a flimsy cable at a construction site, and on December 25, the scientist himself was abducted with samples of Eva's cells, and the laboratory was completely destroyed due to a gas leak.

February 4, 1996. During the riots in the Checheno-Ingush Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic, the 211st Special Guards Red Banner Order of Lenin Special Purpose Parachute Regiment was sent to Chechnya by special order of the command, to search for and destroy hidden terrorist cells, as well as storage facilities and weapons caches. The special forces of the 211st Guards Regiment have shown themselves to be experienced fighters who are able to find and destroy militant shelters, track down and kill commanders and important persons of the terrorists of Ichkeria. 20 days later, on February 24, the weakened rebels of Ichkeria, left without ammunition, supplies and command, completely demoralized by the actions of the 211st Guards Regiment, laid down their weapons and surrendered, but some cells continued their stubborn resistance until they were completely destroyed. For its contribution to the restoration of the territorial integrity of the Soviet Union, the prevention of an act of separatism in the Chechen Republic and the restoration of order in the region, the 211st Special Guards Regiment was awarded the Order of Alexander Nevsky, and many soldiers received promotions and awards.

December 24, 1997. Mitochondrial Eva again declared herself, but this time in America, having arranged a mass human spontaneous combustion at the Carnegie Hall. Having learned about this incident, Soviet Union organized blitz negotiations with the US Government, and having received consent to the introduction of special forces to eliminate the biological threat, the USSR quickly sent the 211st Special Guards Red Banner Order of Lenin and Alexander Nevsky Parachute Regiment in full force to New York...

GSVY (Gruppa Sovetskix Vojsk v Yaponii, GSTJ, Group of Soviet Troops in Japan, ГСВЯ, Группа Советских Войск в Японии) — It appeared in 1982, when the United States approved the entry of the initial contingent of the USSR Armed Forces numbering 12,000 personnel into Japan. From 1982 to 1997, the number of GSVY troops increased significantly, almost approaching the number of American forces (50,000 personnel). In 1997, after the 1995 incident in Okinawa, part of the US troops in Japan was withdrawn, which formed the command of the GSVY to allocate additional forces to Japan. It is assumed that by 2001, the troops withdrawn by the Americans will return to Japan.

Mongolia joined the Warsaw Pact after the attempted pro-Chinese coup in 1985, where part of the Mongolian army rebelled and tried to take Ulaanbaatar, where there were three-day battles, and Bat-Erdeniyn Batbayar, the head of the country, was isolated in his residence, from where he fought with his soldiers until the approach of Soviet forces. The intervention of the USSR in this conflict allowed the troops loyal to the government to launch a counteroffensive and defeat the pro-Chinese rebels. Fearing further threat from China, Mongolia joined the Warsaw Pact Organization on April 30, 1985.

Albania joined the Warsaw Pact on February 5, 1987 after long negotiations with Ramiz Aliya. In exchange for joining the CMEA and the Warsaw Pact, Albania received a serious loan from the USSR. The rest of the Eastern Bloc also helped in the development of Albania. In seven years, Albania has been able to improve its socio-economic situation. Debts to the USSR and the countries of the Eastern Bloc were fully repaid only by 2011.

Motherland, loyalty, honor! - The motto of the Georgian Movement for Freedom (nationalist and separatist formation supported by China. From 1988 to 1992, China supplied the separatists with weapons, sent instructors and money).

Kaikhosro Cholokashvili (Kakutsa, 1888-1930) - was a Georgian prince, a military figure, one of the main national heroes of the separatists of Georgia. A native of the famous family of princes Cholokashvili, the son of Joseph Cholokashvili. Kakutsa Cholokashvili's name became popular again in Georgia in the late 1980s in the wake of a national revival supported by China; his portraits could often be seen at separatist protest rallies.

In addition to the Sukhumi cauldron, the Okumi and Dertseli cauldrons were formed, in which the surrounded separatist troops were destroyed by the forces of the Soviet Army and the units of the Soviet Armed Forces loyal to the government on the territory of the Georgian SSR (there were most of them). The fleet completely switched to the side of the "federals", supporting the allied forces from the sea with cruise missile strikes and naval artillery, isolating Sukhumi, thus blocking the possibility of the separatists' retreat by sea.
