Being the Ultimate Traceur and a freshman of Hope's Peak Academy, Kana thought that she was well accustomed to weird/extraordinary things happening almost every day on her daily life…but to be forced into an excursion to a ¨tropical island¨ alongside her classmates was certainly something that she didn't expect at all.

Well, at least everything was much better than she originally thought: though they were forced into the excursion, everybody had the freedom to explore the island and enjoy the different facilities as much as they wanted; although, everybody had to be present during the three meals and (mandatory) recreational activities that their ¨teacher¨ Monocrow prepared for them.

And so, here she was, practicing her parkour around the first island. After finishing a few ¨rounds¨, she decided to take a break alongside the fountain and then…a little shine inside the water took her attention.

-Umm? What's this? –she couldn't help but say as she put her hand inside the water and pull out a…particular lookingkey.

It wasn't damaged or rusted (which was surprising taking into account the place where it came from), actually, it looked almost brand new. The key had a pink heart covered by one black and one white wing at the end, which…now that she thinks about it…hasn't she seen it somewhere else before?

Kana crossed her arms and thought deeply for a few minutes:

(A heart with monochromatic wings, a heart with monochromatic wings…)-she repeated to herself, REALLY trying to remember where was that she saw it…and then- AH! –she remembered.

Without thinking, she ran back to the Monocruise and stood in front of a room. The room didn't have a nameplate at all, only a symbol identical to the one of the key she was holding.

-Oh my…I didn't expect anyone to find it so soon…-Kana immediately jumped to a side after hearing that voice to her back.

-M-MONOCROW!?

-Ah, my apologies Ms. Kazehaya, it was not my intention to startled you-the monochromatic bird said and did a little bow, then he pointed back to the door and continued-As you may have guessed, that is the key to this room. When you comrades first arrived here, I did not properly explain it to you because someone had yet to found the key.

-H-Hah? What do you mean…? –Kana asked, confused.

-You see miss; this door is rather an odd one, afterall…it can only be opened by a student. A student who must have the key, may I say-Monocrow explained, passing a…mischievous light from his eyes as he spoke.

-What tha- What's the deal with this room then!? –the black-haired girl inquired, looking at the door with a mixture of curiosity and a strange sense of awe.

-This is called the ¨Fantasy Room¨. As its particular name expresses, in this room you will be able to experience someone's fantasy…

-Someone? WHO, exactly? –the girl pressured the answer. Though the mere implication of being able to ¨experience someone's fantasy¨ was waaay too weird (and unrealistic) to be true, taking into account where they were and howmany odds things she had seen so far in the island, she was rather…curious about all this.

-Sadly, not even I can know. I was only informed that it differs every time the door opens. So only you will know once inside-he clarified and with a more serious tone, added-Although, if you really plan to enter, I must warn you of something first, miss…As I said before, you will practically be inside someone else's fantasy, taking the role of their dreamed partner, and thus…you MUSTNOT make them snap out of their fantasy.

-H-HAH!? W-Why…?

-First…it would make your partner feel embarrassed! Think of it: if you suddenly wake up a somnambulist when they were doing something, no matter how good or bad that something was, at the end they will feel disoriented and embarrassed for what have they done-Monocrow explained firmly-And secondly, since this is a ¨Fantasy Room¨, the room itself may malfunction if the ¨source¨ of said fantasy disappears out of the blue. In the worst of cases, you may get stuck inside for a veeeery long time.

-H-HEY, THAT'S A REALLY-REALLY-REALLY BIG PROBLEM! I DON'T WANT THAT! –Kana angrily exclaimed, getting chills by simply imaging it.

-See? So, with that in mind, I recommend you to not risk it, ok?

-O-Okey…-Kana only nodded. It still felt weird to have to agree with something like Monocrow.

-Ufufu, now that everything is settled, I shall take my leave. Open the door or not is up to you, but please take my words into account if you do. Then, without anything left to say: ENJOY!

-H-HAH!? HEY-! –as always, the monochromatic bird disappeared before anything else could be said or done- AGGGGHHH! –the black-haired couldn't help but growl, frustrated by the turn of things.

She looked again to the key in hand. It shined intensely as if it was tempting her with the message of ¨use me, use me~¨. If anyone else had found this key…what would they have done with it?

¨Sell it¨ ¨Scoop! ¨ ¨Throw it. I don't believe in such unscientific thing¨ …well…she could certainly imagine some of their answers, but still…this was her own decision to make and to be honest…he curiosity was killing her from the inside!

-Ahhh, this is why they say that curiosity killed the cat…-Kana simply expressed, letting out a short tired but convinced sigh.

After looking at the key for a last time, Kana gathered all the courage she could and put it on the lock. By the sound of a clear ¨click¨, there was no doubt that this was indeed the key needed, and so…she opened the door…and let herself be caught by a lovely fantasy yet unknown…
