John Phoenix read a newspaper.
"Robbery at Hotel Dusk!" it said!
John Phoenix was friends with Hotel Dusk. He had to solve it!
So he went to Kyle Hyde's work and saw Kyle driving away. He secretly climbed onto the roof as it passed knowing Kyle would take him to Hotel Dusk.
And he did! Kyle Hyde drove to Hotel Dusk.
John Phoenix got off the car. Then he locked the car door so Kyle couldn't get out. He had a simple reason for doing this and you will find out what it is in good time.
John Phoenix entered the hotel. Then he went upstairs.
Jeff was there.
"Jeff did you rob Hotel Dusk?"
Jeff shrugged and pulled a shit eating smile.
"Noooooo..." he said suspiciously.
"You said that suspiciously! Let me in!" said John Phoenix and he used the fact that he was suspicious to get a warrant to Jeff's room.
"NO!" said Jeff, then he pulled the thousand dollars he stole from the hotel out of the toilet. "You'll never get me convicted my dad works for Ace Attorney!"
But then Dunning Smith walked in!
"Maybe we can't arrest ya son," said Dunning. "But I can tell ya to haul ass! Get outta my hotel!"
"Gladly."
Jeff ran outside and tried to escape but as he was crossing the street Kyle's car appeared out of nowhere and rammed into him and Jeff got knocked off his feet and flew about a mile down the street!
All according to plan.
Jeff was arrested and before his trial began John Phoenix murdered his dad so he couldn't defend him and Jeff was sent to jail.
