After the half confession to Janet, Sam had left the Mountain as fast as she could. She needed to be alone and process everything that happened in the last days and hours. As soon as she arrived home, she undressed and took a long hot shower. She hadn't dare doing that in the Mountain.

"Oh God", she cried as the pouring water kept coming.

Finally, she closed the tap and grabbed a towel. Then she sat in her bed and closed her eyes. All she could see were the lips of her CO all over her mouth and body and what had happened in that bed on the planet.

"Fuck, I'm so fucked…", she cursed.

Her thoughts were interrupted by her doorbell. Constantly being rang. She quickly put one t-shirt and some shorts and went to the door. When she opened it, her CO was standing there, looking at her with a concerned expression.

"Carter! Are you okay?", he asked looking at her from head to toes.

Sam blushed, her hand still on the door.

"I will be, Sir. Eventually", she said.

"Can I come in?", he asked. Putting his hands on his jacket pockets.

Blinking, Sam looked uncertain.

"Why?", she asked.

He raised an eyebrow.

"Why?", he repeated surprised.

"Yes, Sir! Why do you want to come in?", she asked again.

"I think we need to talk, Captain", Jack said a little more coldly than he wanted.

Sam swallowed. And opened more her door so he could enter.

"Fine. Enter", she said. Turning her back to him and moving to her kitchen.

Jack cursed himself silently and entered her house. Closing the door quietly. Then he followed her to the kitchen where she was making coffee. Apparently.

"Look…Carter…", he started.

"Want some coffee?", she asked. With her back towards him.

"Yeah, sure", he said. Siting in one of her kitchen chairs.

She silently gave him a mug and leaned against the countertop. A mug in her hand. Her eyes moving between his and some point in her kitchen's wall.

Jack put the mug on the table.

"What did you tell Janet?", he finally asked.

Sam drank a little of the coffee, keeping the mug between her hands.

"Is that what is troubling you, Sir?", she asked. This time looking at him.

"We have a briefing tomorrow with Hammond. I wanted to check that our stories are aligned", he said. It was more or less true.

"I told her that they did a virginity test on me. Twice. So it can be considered rape. I'm supposed to talk with the base's psychiatrist. After the briefing", she said.

Jack passed a hand through his hair.

"You told me that you wanted to keep everything off record…", he said confused.

Sam put the mug down and crossed her arms.

"Yes Sir. I wanted that but then I started to think that Janet was going to find out anyway that…". Sam's voice faltered but she took a deep breath to calm herself. "That I had engaged in sexual relations on the planet. So I had to give her something. I preferred to tell her that I was raped", she said in the steadiest voice she could managed.

"And she believed you?", Jack asked slowly.

"Yes, Sir. So you're cleared. I'll keep that version of the story in my mission report and with MacKenzie", she said.

Jack found himself a little annoyed with her attitude.

"That isn't my real concern, Carter. I wanted to know if you were okay and more important if we are okay?", he asked looking at his Captain.

Sam blushed.

"Of course, Sir. It was part of the mission to get out of there alive. We did what we had to do", she simply said. Although her heart was beating like the engine of her Indian.

Jack looked at the mug in front of him.

"So just doing our jobs, is that it Carter?", he asked.

Sam bit her lip but didn't break her cover.

"Yes Sir", she simply answered.

Jack got up and looked at her.

"Well Captain, good to know that I can always count on you for the sake of a mission", he said. With a hint of sarcasm and hurt.

Sam swallowed but stood firm.

"You can always count on me, Sir. In every mission", she said. Looking at him.

Jack dragged his finger through her kitchen's table, avoiding her eyes.

"Yeah Carter…I'm learning that", he said. And then he left. Without another word.

Sam let her head drop as well as the tears she had so firmly fought while he had been there. There was really no point in having any further discussion about what had happened. It couldn't ever happen again.
