HI! I just want to share my appreciation to you guys! We have reached 100+ views! Thinking that this is my FIRST fan fiction and I have already gotten a tremendous amount of support. And quickly I just want to give a shout out to Endlessness! Thanks so much for all of the confidence you've given me in my writing! I hope you continue to keep reading :)

Letting you guys know I will be switching POV's in this story so I will try to keep it as simple and not confusing as I can. Mild disclaimer this chapter is written in the POV of Winter and I am not good at writing for him. So apologies in advance lol.

White talons reached out to the scavenger until...

"WINTER!"

The scavenger scurried into the green bushes. Winter sighed. "What is it Riptide?". The sky-blue Seawing steps into Winter's view grinning. "On another scavenger hunt? Don't we have enough already?". "We need to catch more scavengers to get bigger reasearch numbers! The hunt was going great until you interupted!" Winter replied scowling at Riptide. Riptide barks a laugh and says "Scavengers are always going to be here, you're visitors aren't."

Visitors? Though Winter Is it Kinkajou again? Qibli? Turtle? Or... Is it her?

Winter followed Riptide to go find his visitors, his talons clicking on the stone path leading to the entry of the town. Wondering who it could possibly be. Some of the queens of Pyrrhia had come to check on the progress of Sanctuary. Mostly it was Queen Ruby (most likely because Sanctuary is in the Sky Kingdom) and Queen Thorn (who was giving help to make Sanctuary similar to the town in the Sand Kingdom, Possibility).

Winter's heart ached. The last time he had been in Possibility he had been with Qibli, Turtle, Peril and Moon. Moon. Winter wished she had come visit. Kinkajou had because her camouflage scales and stealth experience were much better (And Winter would never admit it out loud) than his. He had gotten a few letters from his other friends but Moon stopped writing. Winter thought it was because she was to busy with Qibli. As much as his heartbreak and jealousy were still present, he couldnt bring himself to hate his former Clawmate. Soon enough Winter and Riptide reached the entry of the town Sanctuary.

Winter held his breath preparing to see his visitors until a bright pink dragonet came barreling into him. "HIIIIIIII. AHHH I MISSED YOU SO MUCH. I heard you were collecting more scavengers WITHOUT ME! Why don't you come BACK to SCHOOL?! Because its AMAZING!". " Nice to see you too Kinkajou." Grumbled Winter awkwardley hugging her with his wing. A few other dragons came into view when Kinkajou got off of him. Peril, Turtle and a Nightwing. With silver teardrop scales. "Hi Winter" said Moon half-smiling at him.

Remember to breath

A few very uncomfortable seconds past until Peril broke the silence. "Why are we bringing him?" Asked Peril glaring at Winter. "BECAUSE IT IS AN ADVENTURE!" Cried Kinkajou. Turtle shushed her and said "Winter can help us look for him." Peril stared at Turtle " How?" She asked dubiously.

Silence.

"Winter is very useful, and he's the only one who can keep looking if Tsunami comes to find us." Said Moon. Winters heart skipped. Moon said Im useful! Maybe she still cares! Maybe I can-. Winter closed off his thoughts realizing he didnt have his skyfire bracelet on him and Moon could hear everything he was thinking. She would probably tell Qibli after and laugh about him together. If Moon had heard anything she didn't show it. "Winter we need your help" she said desperately. Then Winter noticed something. "Where is Qibli?" He asked. Kinkajou, Turtle and Peril all simultaneously looked at the Nightwing with pity on their faces. His question made Moon's smile fade. "He's missing." She said. The look on her face made Winter want to jump into a pit of lava. Then Turtle started telling Winter how he went to find Qibli one morning at Jade Mountain and couldn't find him. Winter glanced at Moon once (or twice) when Turtle was telling his story and she looked so sad. When he was done Winter said "YES. Uh, yeah Ill help you look. Do you know where to start looking?". "Were just kind of winging it" said Peril "no pun intended." Moon glanced up and said "I think we should start in the Kingdom of Sand. We can ask Queen Thorn for advice." Everyone agreed to Moon's plan. By then it was late, so Winter lead them back to his hut. "Sorry it will be kind of cramped, its usually just me." He apologized. "Uh do you have a non-flammable house for me?" Asked Peril. Winter has just realized that too, his hut wasn't exactly fireproof. "There is a cave over by the mountains, its probably less cramped we can all go. " he offerd. To his surprise everyone agreed. When they reached the cave, Peril went to the farthest corner of the cave to limit anyone coming near her. Turtle lay down beside Kinkajou putting his wing around her. Moon chose a spot near the entrance and Winter sat down along the sides. Even though he knew it was a long way coming, he lay down and tried to drift off to sleep.

"Can't sleep?"

Winter perked up. It was Moon talking to him. "No, not really. He said. "Me neither" she admitted "I'm really worried." Winter decided to push his jealousy aside and try to comfort his friend. He got up and walked over to Moon. "Qibli isn't one to be captured easily. If he is captured he has probably already found at least 10 ways to escape." He whispered trying not to wake anyone up. "We don't even know if he's been captured. We have no clues at all to where he might be. "She whispered on the verge of tears. Then Winter had an idea. " When we get to the Kingdom of Sand, we can ask Queen Thorn to use the Obsidian Mirror. Its a long shot but it might give us some clues to where he is." He offered. Moon lit up "That's perfect!" She said. They sat in silence for a few seconds until she said "Thanks Winter... I've really missed you." I've really missed you. That sentence rang in his head for a few moments. Not the time Winter. No matter how much you want it. He thought. "You should get some rest we have a lot of flying tommorow" he said ignoring what she said. Moon looked a bit sad that he ignored what she said. but she still agreed. Winter walked back over to his spot in the cave feeling bad. Moon he thought I've missed you to. He might have been imagining it but Winter thought he saw the Nightwing smiling to herself after hearing his thoughts.

Winter work up earlier than usual. What? Where in the world am I? He thought, examining the rocky cave. The slight shimmer of silver and black scales in the corner of his eye reminded him. Oh right the cave.

Last nights conversation with Moon came flowing back to him. She said that she missed me. He remembered feeling warm inside. He decided to leave the cave and go find Riptide. Surprisingly enough, as soon as he came into the sunlight of the morning he spotted the Seawing. Winter flew over to him looking at the town he helped create underneath him. "Riptide!" He bellowed. "Hey Winter! I came to check on your hut last night but you weren't there?" He replied. "Oh yeah we moved to the cave. My hut isn't exactly firescales proof" Winter joked. Riptide looked visibly confused. "I'm going to be off for a while. I'm going to be doing uh, something with my. Friends." Winter said. The word friends still tasted funny in his mouth. Probably because he hadn't seen any of them (except Kinkajou) for months. "Winter you've done so much for this town. Take as much time off as you need. Excuse me, sorry" said Riptide walking away to great another Seawing. When he returned to the cave he noticed Kinkajou was awake sitting beside Turtle, watching him with affection in her eyes. "Hey Kinkajou? Can we talk." Winter whispered trying to get the attention of the Rainwing. She nodded and they flew out of the cavs and sat down at the bottom of the cliff. "Morning Winter!" She said warmly "what did you want to talk about?". Winter drew in a long breath and answered her " I was wondering if you could um, tell me a bit about. About uh Qibli and...". "Qibli and Moon?" She said finishing his setence. Winter nodded gratefully at Kinkajou. "I get it don't worry" she said twinning her tail around his. "Well I guess I'll start after you left. Qibli and Moon started dating and everything went great. Qibli treated Moon like a queen and Moon felt similarly towards him, kind of. Uh the only time I remember them disagreeing over anything was a few weeks ago? Moon and I were talking and I guess Moon didn't realize Qibli was there and she said " I wish Winter were still here " and I don't think she meant it in that way but Qibli I think was jealous and didn't talk to Moon for the rest of the day. Sorry" she added. If anyone should apologize it should be him. The amount of times he yelled at them or was rude to them (especially Moon) and all of them still consider him their friend. Kinkajou drummed her fingers on the rock and said "I think I hear someone waking up, I'm gonna go back. Bye Winter!" She said flying up towards the cave. "And Kinkajou?" Winter said. The Rainwing turned her head back to look at him. "Uh, thanks" he said half smiling at her. She nodded and entered the cave. A few minutes later the four dragons left the cave together and flew down to join Winter. "So! Who's ready for an adventure?!" Said Peril.
