It had been a long week at work, and Raine whispers was glad it was the weekend. They honestly couldn't wait to get home to Luz. There was a forecast for rain that weekend, so they both would have to spend it indoors, but Raine did think up some fun activities to pass the time. Raine stopped for a pizza on their way home, feeling like treating themselves. Raine also bought Luz some fresh bread as Raine was running out, it was hardly a special treat but Raine know how much Luz loved her sandwich.

When Raine whispers stepped in the door, Raine found Luz sat on the living room floor, coloring in some blank pieces of paper. Luz still wasn't very good at drawing with her hands, but at least she was learning. Luz had accidentally coloured a lot of the carpet in during her efforts, but Raine honestly didn't mind. As Raine closed the door, Luz turned and looked at them. The smile Luz gave Raine was all it took for Raine to forgive her.

"Nini!" Luz yelled as she ran over to Raine. Luz began running around Raine legs as They walked in the door carrying the pizza and her dinner. "Nini, come look at my pictures!" Luz said excitedly as she ran over to pick up her best one to show Raine. Luz came hurtling back over towards Raine with a picture in her hands, holding it up to Raine, Luz then began pulling on Raine pant legs. Luz certainly was eager.

Raine bent down to look at the picture. It appeared to be a rainbow, though Luz hadn't got the hang of the shape yet, It was recognizable. "It's lovely My little Witchlet!" Raine said. "I'm going to put it on the fridge!" Raine turned to the fridge and stuck it on with a magnet at about Luz height, so she could see it as well. Luz stood there, looking at it proudly.

"Thank you Nini! It took me all day to draw!" Luz smiled. Raine loved when Luz smiled. It always warmed their heart.

"Are you ready for dinner now, Luz? I've got some bread to make your favourite Sandwich!" Raine said, turning back to the kitchen work top and placing some jelly onto the bread before putting the sandwich onto a plate for Luz. "Go tidy up and I'll bring it over to you."

Luz ran back to the living room floor and began picking up her crayons and putting them into her art box. Raine had given it to Luz a few days ago to keep her occupied during the day while Raine was at work. Raine wanted to move Luz onto paints at some point, but thought better of it for now. A little toddler human with tubs of paint would only result in a terrible mess.

Luz finished putting her crayons away and stacked her pictures by the art box. Luz then jumped up onto her reclining chair and sat down, looking at Raine eagerly. Clearly Luz was hungry. Raine brought her plate over and put it on the chair in front of her, then went and got their pizza. Luz had already began chomping away. As Raine sat down on the sofa nearby and turned on the Crystal bell. Cartoons were on, and Luz loved watching Cartoons with her dinner.

As Raine picked up their pizza and began eating, Luz stopped and looked at Raine. "What's that, Nini?" Luz said inquisitively over a mouthful. Raine swallowed their bite of pizza and looked at it. Raine never given Luz pizza before. They wondered if she'd like it or not. Either way, Raine didn't want to give it to Luz on a regular basis, or she might become unhealthy. I'm sure pizza isn't good for a little toddler human like herself, even if she is from the human realm.

Raine looked at it again, then looked back to Luz eager face. Raine decided to give some to Luz, a small amount wouldn't hurt, Raine thought. Raine cut up half a slice into small squares and put it on Luz plate. "Here you go Luz. It's a cheese pizza! Careful, it might be hot!" Raine said. Luz looked at it quizzically, and sniffed at it on her plate. Luz must have liked what she smelt, as she soon began chewing away at it and wolfed down the lot!

"Can I have more, please Nini?" Luz looked at Raine with her cute little expression. Raine honestly couldn't resist. They cut up the other half and gave it to Luz.

"But you have to finish the rest of your dinner afterwards, okay Luz?"

"Yes Nini!" Luz said as she chewed on the pizza crusts, a happy smile on her face. Once they were both finished eating Raine washed up the plates, with Luz passing them to Raine from a stool next to them. Luz yawned when they were both done, so Raine put Luz to bed early. Raine read her a bedtime story from Luz favorite book, the good witch azura. Luz always loved the story, even though she knew how it ended. Raine tucked Luz in tightly, kissed her gently on the forehead, turned on her night light and said goodnight.

"Goodnight Nini." Luz whispered. "Thank you for the peeza."

"You're welcome" Raine said, as They pulled the door to, leaving a gap so Luz could get out in the night if she needed Raine. Raine went to bed straight after as They were tired themselves.

Raine whispers woke up at about two AM to hear the sound of running water and a light coming from the kitchen. Raine got up and put their glasses on and went to investigate, and found Luz sat in the sink, the tap running, her blanket laying on the floor. "Luz, what are you doing?" Raine said sternly. Luz looked up at Raine with tears in her eyes.

"No! Nini, go away!" Luz screamed, her voice cracking. Raine felt so upset. Luz never got angry with them unless Raine had upset her. What had Raine done wrong? They walked towards Luz to rub her hire, when she squeaked again. "No! Nini, please!" Luz began crying. As Raine stood there, Raine began to smell it. Luz had been sick in bed, and it was all over her hair. Half digested bits of pizza and cheese stuck to her skin and mouth.

Luz had obviously been embarrassed by it, and tried to bath herself so Raine wouldn't find out. "Nini..." She sobbed. "I made a mess." Luz lowered her head and sat crying. "I'm sorry."

Raine walked over to Luz and lifted her head up so she was looking at them. "Hey. It's okay Luz. I shouldn't have given you that pizza." Raine said. "Clearly it doesn't agree with you."

Raine turned the tap off as Luz had been running cold water only and hadn't managed to get the plug in the sink. Raine lifted her out and sat her on the draining board, and began running the hot water and filled the sink with her favorite bubble bath. Once the sink was full and the water was the right temperature, Raine lowered Luz in. Raine began to scrub her belly and the arms. Luz must have rolled over in it as it was everywhere. Luz sat there quietly, clearly still upset by the ordeal.

"Hey, Luz. Wait here, I've got something for you." Raine left her in the sink for a minute to clean herself, while Raine went to their bedroom. Raine gotten Luz a gift for the next time she had her weekly bath, but thought she might like it now. "Close your eyes Luz!" Raine dropped the rubber duck into the sink, making a splash that startled Luz. Luz opened her eyes suddenly, and as soon as she saw the ducky, she began to giggle. Luz knew what it was from watching Cartoons, and Raine figured it was only right that a little toddler human needed some bath toys to play with.

Luz began to push the duck around the bath, making quacking noises with it while Raine washed her hair and mouth. Luz squirmed as Raine did it, but Luz had bits of cheese all over her face and some stuck up her nose. After about half an hour, Luz was clean. Raine drained the water out of the bath, and Luz let out a little moan as her duck hit the bottom of the sink. Raine turned the tap on to a lukewarm temperature and rinsed Luz off, just to make sure They got it all.

"Okay Luz, can you go sit in the living room and dry yourself off while I clean your bed?" Raine asked her as They put her on the floor and draped a kitchen towel on top of her.

Luz nodded and ran to the sofa. She stopped halfway, and turned to face Raine. "Thank you Nini." Luz said, starting to sound like her usual, cheery self.

Luz then ran up to the sofa, and began rubbing the towel against herself to dry off. Raine picked up Luz blanket and put it in the washing machine, then went and stripped her bed off. There was vomit all over the bed, and on the wall. Raine put it all in the machine and cleaned the wall off, by the time Raine was done, Luz had fallen asleep on the sofa, wrapped in a wet towel.

Raine picked Luz up and carried her to their bed, placing her snugly under the duvet. That's the last time you're having pizza. Raine watched Luz, as she burped in her sleep.
