A very funny dream.
"I don't remember at what point in my life everything started to be so boring." Such thoughts began to form in the mind of a certain young man.
"Wake up, go to school, come home and start the process all over again.", a reflection was taking place.
"I thought maybe high school would make a difference, but it would turn out to be the same... Or maybe worse.", he didn't know what he was looking for.
Such thoughts caused him to sigh heavily. "At this rate, I'll just become an office worker… Am I really useless for anything else…?" Those thoughts made him shudder.
"I feel like I wasn't made for this society…I don't even know how I'll live in a few years.", her fists clenched just thinking about that life in which she wouldn't know what she really wanted to achieve.
"Why do I keep losing at everything I do?" His hands were turning white from the intense effort. Without realizing the damage she was doing, someone hit her head with a book.
"What…?" was all he said.
"Do you really want to continue being a good-for-nothing...", an annoyed voice snapped him out of his daze.
"Huh? No.", her gaze went up to the person who spoke to her, who happened to be her teacher. Of which he had not noticed that he was still next to him with an angry face.
"Apparently, seeing me every day in the teachers' lounge hasn't calmed your bad behavior," he declares with an aggressive tone as his gaze sharpened and his right arm rested on his student's desk. "You really are a good-for-nothing. Can't you follow a simple order? Tell me, did you bring your homework?", At no time did he take his student's gaze away from him.
"I thought I could do it in class…", argued the boy who was being questioned by his Sensei.
"You're not funny, Saitama.", a vein began to appear on his teacher's forehead. "But I have something fun to tell you. I'll see you in the staff room, and this time it'll be after school," he pitched at the end, surely something bad would happen if he didn't follow her instructions to the letter.
His hand lifted from his seat to go on his way. "And you'll clean the whole classroom when school is over, so make sure you're there on time. You won't let me give you any more fun punishments, right?" I turned to him with a smile.
"No", he didn't want any more problems.
The next few classes went by too slowly for him to remember.
But a feeling never left him. He finally he could feel the true frustration in his being.
And so ended his school day. After several hours of boring classes, where she was fighting against the thoughts of him; who would like to get him out of monotony.
He failed in his fight very quickly. And he was scolded for not paying attention. The most fun thing that happened for him was cleaning the room. An activity that didn't require her to put his brain to work.
It was fast. But he wasn't so much when he had to sweep the school's outdoor field. He was even able to observe his teacher watching him from time to time. Making sure he got his job done.
Time passed and the sunset began to greet him. His steps towards his small apartment were slow.
He never paid attention to the gazes that were watching him. Having a uniform with bad stitching no longer mattered to him.
His gaze clearly portrayed all the thoughts that were in his mind. Remembering how everything has not turned out as he would like. His first day of school had gone very well.
But once the second day started. Forgot to do his homework, which resulted in his teacher scolding him in front of the whole class while calling him a good-for-nothing.
And when the classes were over, he couldn't make it to the teachers' room for his respective punishment, since he was escorted by his superiors to the backyard to be assaulted and beaten. And worst of all, his uniform was ripped in the process.
The only funny thing about that day that he remembers was the appearance of that Mysterious Being who took his money. Not to mention, he also got scolded by the officers and the Pro Heroes (they don't find it funny that a student was chasing a Monster). Even when he took care of it, he didn't get his money back.
"I really don't see myself living well in this world," her words were charged with various emotions. Sadness, fear, anger, frustration. They all flooded him.
His gaze wasn't raised until he got home. The only sensation that she received was the pain in her hands, a small invoice for having been squeezing them for a long time.
With nothing better to do. I take the path to his resting place, which turned out to be his room.
Her backpack flew to her small bedroom table and not seeing the need to change, she went straight to her mattress.
The soft sound it made when he lay down was relaxing to him. All the bad things of the day went away little by little. And a calm began to spread throughout his body.
The only viewer that accurately measured time was his little digital alarm clock, which was superimposed on his old little CRT television.
The numerical digits on the alarm clock changed one at a time, one of the few things that changed in the quiet room. The gentle breezes in the air were also an indication that time was still moving.
Her soft bed was her only friend she could trust now. Feeling a little calmer thanks to her help, he managed to fix her gaze on the digital clock.
"It's 18:38. It's just a little while before my favorite show starts, maybe I'll relax a bit more with the Justice-Man animated series.", without having raised his bed, he reached over to his pillow and pulled out a controller remote below it.
The characteristic sound of turning on the TV fills the room. It only took a few seconds to load the image, the sharpness began to grow on the screen until it clearly showed the news broadcast.
"It's a shame that it only has public channels...", he couldn't help but lament, but his program was almost there.
Taking control and pointing it back at the television, the volume was adjusted until the presenter's voice could be heard.
"A video from a store's security cameras is circulating on Ciudad Z's social networks," the driver spoke. Underneath the newscast appeared the phrase, panic in city Z.
Seeing that something interesting was going on, he sat on his bed and started watching the show.
"Despite all the efforts of the Pro Heroes and the authorities, these strange Mysterious Beings keep appearing without having a clear origin.", the announcer continued. The screen now said, shortly the attack of the Mysterious Being.
"Great researchers have affirmed that these beings are even stranger than the Quirks themselves. So far there is nothing concrete, but the public demands that brute force be used with them.", the words on the screen changed again. "All Might stands as one of the most acclaimed Pro Heroes."
"Now we will move on to the video in question." was the last thing he said. The screen now transmitted the alleged recording that circulates on the networks.
His eyes now looked with more interest at the news program.
In the low-quality security video, a group of kids is shown gathering outside a grocery store.
The seconds pass with the same image. Until the first change arises.
An imposing creature is caught on camera, its form is that of a muscular humanoid crocodile, despite the low resolution, its physical features did not become less fearsome.
The stature of the Mysterious Being was imposing. He was easily over two meters tall, his impressive muscles ripping through his scaly skin. His upper and lower limbs were stocky and muscular, his entire body displaying an incredible balance of muscle fibers.
Its hands and feet contained claws made to tear through the toughest flesh. The lizard snout of hers was even more fearsome. A strong jaw full of teeth made to crush the hardest of bones. But the most terrifying thing was its tail that ended with large spear-shaped scales, which were made to pierce through anything.
His steps were slow and sure, his trajectory was towards those young people who were speaking.
The fact that such a being went unnoticed by them was a mystery. Perhaps they assumed that it was a person with a mutated Quirk. But all that doesn't matter for what came next.
The large creature came to a halt behind the nearest individual in the group, apparently the tallest person of all of them. The group of friends observed the being, and before anyone did anything.
It happened too fast for the camera to process, just like it did for the group. The boy had disappeared, the trick only consisted of being devoured with a single bite.
It only lasted a few seconds for the entire group to run for their lives.
The Mysterious Being seemed like it was screaming and going into ecstasy. Upon completion of his alleged work, he stepped outside the confines of the chamber. The only thing he had managed to leave as evidence at the crime scene was a pair of legs which had created a pool of blood.
The recording was over. And the recording studio was seen again. The newscaster was silent for a few seconds.
"That...was...unexpected," her words were filled with uncertainty. Her gaze alone from her wandered.
There was no sound coming from his small TV.
The news broadcast was quickly interrupted by a commercial for some product.
The silence of the study had also taken over the room.
His gaze remained captured on his TV screen for a while, until he turned his gaze to his window. Dusk was engulfing the city.
"That…was something," he muttered to himself. The only comfort he could find was touching his neck for a while.
Only a week has passed since his last encounter with that Mysterious Being. His mind transports him to that memory. As if he expected him to find something there.
So many things are going through his psyche. But she can't let go of the uncertainty about what life will bring.
When trying to find an answer. She gets up and goes to her window. Hoping to have a better understanding of everything that happened in her short life.
The orange sky greets him, and the afternoon breeze comforts him.
Seeing the city everything looks calm. But he knows that in the dark there are Villains and Mysterious Beings that are continually lurking in the shadows. Even something else can be hidden in the darkness.
Even when the world has the Pro Heroes to defend them... He feels that just that is not enough.
"I was lucky he just dressed me up and left me in the alley." reflection to himself. "Maybe my life was worth that 200 yen?", His gaze gazed at the clouds.
"I don't think I can continue living in this kind of world", he was waiting for an answer which was never answered.
The beautiful sunset was setting to give way to night. Without having reached an agreement, he went to Costa.
He didn't mind having his uniform still on. The comfort of her bed was good enough to take her into the world of dreams. Perhaps she would meet some magical Dream Dragon who would grant her a wish.
Her heart patterned pillow was hugged tightly.
"At the rate I'm going… I'll lose everything," I mutter. His pillow contracted toward him.
No matter how hard I try, I can't fall asleep. She knew that she had to do something, but she didn't know what she had to do.
A leaky memory surfaced. Something that wasn't finished, something that could help.
It was an impulse so strong that it made him get up from his bed. Her gaze fell on her small bookcase.
To then look at his television, which was on. He doesn't remember when she disconnected from him. But the most important thing was to pay for it. Saving light is important.
Once turned off, and his control stored in his bed. She went straight to her shelf.
"Where is it? I know I put it near my sleeves," he said, searching through the tomes. When he went through the Justice-Man volumes, he stopped. There was a brief exchange of secret words between the two of them. Until he returned to his search.
It took him a few minutes, but he ended up finding what he was looking for.
"I got you!" I exclaim with joy. In his hands was a book titled, "Exercise for Dummies."
"I think I finally know what I have to do.", he spoke to the book. A clear indication of what motivates it was.
The only witness to all these events was his room. An intimate secret that only the two of them would know. The look so full of determination was somewhat refreshing to the small room of hers.
Something so pure and strong made her heart beat again. With every second I spend looking at her book. Her heartbeat was getting stronger. He knew that he had finally made the right decision.
Just follow what the heart asks for.
He would become strong. No! He would become the strongest of all. He was already fed up with his life, wasting every day of his life, not having any meaning to look for.
It shows how great your desire to change is!
"Ahhh!" I yell at the top of my lungs. He lifted the book as high as he could, and screamed. "I will become the strongest in the world."
Those desires in his heart had started to move. They all flowed under the same purpose.
"I'll never be a good-for-nothing again!" he reaffirmed himself. Such a sharp of the teacher had been recorded in him. But not anymore.
That night was a magical sleepover. I finish the book when the only lights that illuminated it were the light poles of the dark street. The only movement that lasted longer were the pages of his book.
The dream was his reward. Only that a Magical Dragon would not come out of it that would grant him a great wish.
I had never experienced such peace before just from sleeping. The smile on her face never faded.
Despite only getting a few hours of sleep. That doesn't bother him when she had to get up.
He was even surprised. She awoke to her first alarm of the morning. Something she had never done before. She had an hour to go to class, and she already had the uniform that she did not take off when she returned home. She was lucky, he concluded.
"I can go slow and take the opportunity to create my routine.", he agreed seeing that it was a good idea.
Having forgotten to eat yesterday. He went quickly to his little kitchen and ate what he had on hand, once he was ready he went straight to school.
His steps towards his destination were slow. She had plenty of time. So she would use the time to form his routine.
The sunlight had not yet risen, but it would not be long before the rays illuminated life on earth.
"I think I'll start with a full routine.", she brought her hand to her chin. There were very few people walking on the street. "We can start running a good distance, but how many kilometers?" His ramblings apparently caught the attention of a passing adult, as he stopped.
"How about 10 Kilometers? If you want to feel your body exert itself, that's a good number," a very elegant male voice answered. Such interruption made him stop and turn to see the person who spoke to him.
The clothing he was wearing was what caught his attention the most. He was talking about someone with a lot of money, even at the level of being a successful businessman. His blonde bangs might have conveyed that clear message, but there's also the possibility that it speaks to some kind of Quirk. The rest of her hair remained dark, as did her incredible beard.
The aura he conveyed was one of complete tranquility and security.
"Are you talking to my old man?" I ask. Observe the surroundings to avoid any misunderstanding.
"Ahhh!" The strange successful man acted with great fake drama. His hands were touching his heart in an exaggerated way.
Seeing the whole scene taking place, he couldn't help but blurt out a comment.
"You're a weird old man."
"For your information, you rude little brat, I'm still too young!" he protested, his comment having struck a chord.
Seeing that the brat didn't react, I put the matter aside. When he was about to speak he was interrupted.
"But you look about 40 years old. That makes you old", was the boy's thought.
The businessman just shook his head several times.
"There is no respect for elders anymore... What are they teaching these children in this time?" He shook his head and clapped his hands. "But it does not matter"
The messy-haired boy remained unfazed. Or maybe disinterested.
The elegant man took a closer look at the young boy. "I see you're new to this whole exercise thing, how about running 10K?"
With a feeling of acceptance he replied. "Sure. Sounds like a good number to add to my daily routine."
"A boy who accepts the advice that others give him? I don't see him every day. I like you boy." I congratulate
"Anything to do with training suits me right now," he blurted out casually.
"Oh. Training you as a professional Pro Hero. But I don't recognize your uniform, besides it's badly sewn. Did you do it?", I ask.
"Si."
"Perhaps your Quirk causes you to tear your clothing?", the intrigue was heard in his voice.
"It was some troublesome superiors who broke it.", her posture became less relaxed. "The Uniform Breakers"
"Hmm. What a weird name, wouldn't uniform rippers be better?", comment. His arms were now crossed.
"Most use weird names for their groups.",
Apparently that statement made the man think. "I'll assume you didn't make it to specialized school to become a Pro Hero," he states, his gaze sharpening.
"No. I just go to a normal school." There was excess calm in his voice.
"Maybe your quirk isn't that impressive?", he wanted to satisfy his curiosity a bit. She found Quirks to be just as interesting as Sacred Gears. And they turned out to be more abundant.
"Perhaps I can give you a better point of view about your power. A perspective from someone who has walked this world for a long time. You could definitely like him.", he observed how the boy's demeanor had changed rapidly. "Maybe going for a walk to look for a Mysterious Being was worth it. Running into some unique Quirk would be the icing on the cake. Emitter or Transformation?", he thought.
"Maybe it's the same case with the users of Sacred Gears? Maybe we're dealing with a child who doesn't know what he has. Maybe it's a diamond in…"
"I'm just an ordinary human with no powers"
Or maybe not. But such managed to come up with something that she could not recognize. Her posture was firm and sure, her gaze never leaving her violet eyes.
Such attitude and behavior only did something to him.
A laugh began to be heard. It lasted a few seconds. But I don't bother his guest.
"Oh wow, that was a good laugh", a big smile had spread on her face.
"If you say so," he agreed.
"You're weird kid. But that makes you unique." He sent him a look that didn't recognize Saitama.
"So you were born without gifts or some kind of special power," he shortened her distance.
"Yes. I was born without powers. I'm just a normal boy.", The strange adult circled over the student a couple of times.
"Indeed. You have nothing that makes you more than a simple human." He returned to his initial point, and no matter how hard he searched for something in the unfortunate child, he found nothing.
"You didn't get any blessing from life.", she couldn't help but feel sorry. Just looking at her, she knew that her fate was assured. Being erased by those people who would be brighter than him. He would be lucky if he manages to get a stable job in some company. The world is hard for those who have no power.
And just by seeing what is happening around the world... He knows that the weak will not be able to survive. The world to change so much in such a short time. At this rate...
"Why? You don't need any power to be able to live.", I speak. Feeling what life was for him.
His reasoning was innocent, that of a child, which he was. It was what his conversation partner thought.
"I will become strong on my own. I don't need any power to be strong." His gaze was filled with a strong conviction that very few men have managed to convey. "I will train my muscles until I take you to the limit.", He exclaimed with a certainty that the old man could not believe.
"I wonder... It used to be believed that Vasco Strada and Jin Toujou were the pinnacles of humanity... But I'm not sure. Ever since that memory of that mysterious Hero who can travel through Black Holes... I know that I still we haven't witnessed the true human limits. A great example is the Pro Hero Hall Might. It's like the world is strengthening the humans... It will be your doing, Alaya..."
In the end, how much the supernatural world thinks about humans... Humanity is necessary, even if they are the weakest race. But now I have doubts about..."
"Hey man. Are you there?" a hand was waving in front of his face.
"I was lost for a second," he replied as he composed himself.
"Are you sure? You didn't forget to take a pill or something like that", I ask innocently.
"You win… I'll be old, but not that old, boy," he replied with a tired sigh.
"I see".
"And why do you want to be strong? You want to become a hero.", he continued exploring the boy. There was something in which he caught her attention. Fate is very uncertain, even for him.
"To be a hero...?", his gaze turned to the sky, the rays of the morning sun were already flooding the city.
"I want to be strong to stop being a loser...", his gaze continued to observe the gigantic sky.
"Oh. I understand, I understand very well.", both gazes met.
"And you're not afraid of losing your life in the process?" His gaze was studying the boy. "The world is full of Villains, and now it will be filled with these Mysterious Beings." His gaze remained fixed. "Are you willing to take that risk?"
"I will... Even if it means putting my life in danger." His right arm balled up into a fist.
"You're a little boy, you really are," I congratulate. "Usually young people your age tend to smile, it's a woman who motivates them," a little girl blurted out.
"I don't understand how that would help. It's a job that you have to do yourself," he concludes.
"Emotions are so complex. Maybe you still haven't found that special person to be with you?" I winked at him.
"I really don't think so," he replied without making any sense of it. Justice-Man doesn't have any girls to support him, from what he remembers.
"Those who have power are doomed to have girls' attention," his chat partner laughed.
"I really don't know what all that old stuff is about," he returned to his casual gaze.
"A difficult man to conquer, that's what I can see in you", he let out a light laugh. "It would be interesting to see how you act around women."
"You're super weird old man."
A laugh flooded the place where the two of them were. The strange thing was that no one had passed since the two started talking.
"You know, I'm a great researcher who runs a great major company. I'm currently working on research which can give you some sort of power…" I trail off.
A hand stopped him from continuing. "No thanks. I'll get strong by training my own muscles. Even if it means going through hell itself," the boy replied. His arms were now crossed across his chest.
For a brief moment no one said anything.
"Now I see the kind of person you are." A warm smile appeared on her face. "Many would have accepted my help immediately, even begging me to give them power.", Before he was interrupted again he spoke again.
"I don't need you to answer me to know what you'll tell me", under his hand that had stopped some objection from the boy in front of him.
"The path you've taken will be one too difficult. But character shines through in such situations."
"The world is cruel to those who have no power." A small part of him was disappointed at the rejection of his generosity. Seeing what a Sacred Gear powered by it would have turned into, would have been something spectacular.
"But I see that you want to break the chains of your destiny. Tell me, what's your name?", I ask with authority.
"Saitama", at this point he wanted to know what the weird man would say.
His answer was met by a raised eyebrow.
"Solo Saitama"
"Things have gotten interesting, Saitama." He put his hand to his chin and began to remember the world when it wasn't a supercontinent yet. "You know your name comes from what was once Saitama Prefecture, which was located in a country called Japan." Her hand was still rubbing her chin. "Do you know anything about it?" Let it be said that he helps innocent children.
"I don't really care old man. It's not like I'm interested in the history of the world. I'd rather know things from the present," Saitama replied. He didn't care about all that, but everyone has his hobbies...
"Mythologies, Supernatural Beings, Gods, Demons, Angels, Fallen Angels, Dragons, Fairies. Nothing?", commented the man with a small smile.
"You're a weirdo who likes history," he replied casually. "But I have some idea what you're talking about. Maybe I know a few things; like Gala, the goddess of the earth.
A laugh like no other rang out across the deserted street.
"I don't think I've ever laughed like that in my life.", her left hand wipes the small tears from her eyes.
"OK"
"I liked you boy!" He clapped his hands and cheered up. "I don't usually do this," his gaze shot to both sides of the street, his pragmatism not convincing Saitama. "But I know you will need it, since your path will be dangerous." Several light particles began to form in the palm of his left hand. All of them formed a perfect spear of light.
The light from the spear illuminated the places where the morning sun had not.
"So you have light powers," the black haired boy confirmed.
"Something like that," the man with the blond bangs replied with a shrug.
"You'll never be without electricity if you ever forget to pay for it. Great." Saitama congratulated the incredible power that was manifesting.
"Something tells me that you will become someone very unique," he smiled at the boy who saw his power as something so mundane. That kind of vision was refreshing.
"When was the last time I did this? It was a few years before I fell... now I remember, it was with that human woman... Will this work?", her thoughts were a little distant.
"If my white-winged brothers saw me now.", a small laugh escaped her as she thought of old memories.
The spear that had finished forming in his hand. He placed it on the head of an expectant Saitama.
"In the name of what was once the Great Angel Azacel, I grant you my blessing, Young Saitama.", the spear fragmented into several particles which adhered to the sane of the newly blessed.
"Do you feel something new in you? Some kind of different sensation? Maybe heat in a specific point of your body?" Azacel asked, very curious.
Several minutes passed in which Saitama explored his entire body. But I did not find anything unusual in it. "Maybe the guy was a chuunibyou?" he thought.
"I don't feel anything strange in my body, in fact, I feel too normal. Are you sure your power isn't just a light show?" I ask skeptically. "Maybe it was just someone who had harmless light powers. If he wanted to have fun, I just had to tell him," he wandered in his mind.
"Though it would be weird for an adult to play with someone their age."
"It's a pity.", that former angel sighed defeated.
"It seems so." Saitama nodded.
With a sophisticated movement, that good-looking shoulder reached for something in his coat.
"Here you go boy," I hand something over to the boy.
"Hey.", he inspected what he had given him and couldn't believe it. "This is it!" He couldn't help but yell at the sight of 10 10,000 yen bills.
"Take it as a gift for wasting your time." Was all he said as he turned and started to walk away from Saitama. A greeting from the right hand of him I greet you.
"If you decide to become a hero, don't forget that I will become one of your fans," he trailed off. And turn his head.
They both looked at each other.
"Since it is the dream of every child is to become the greatest Hero", was the last interaction he had before he went on his way.
"And my name is Azacel, don't forget! Maybe I'll sponsor you if you become a good Hero!" was the last thing I heard from him.
That meeting left him thinking more than he thought. The money they donated to him would no doubt be put to good use for his training regimen.
The interaction he had with that generous old freak made him late. But for once he didn't care, he was happy to have started on the right foot.
The school day was the same as always. Except that he stayed again to clean some part of the school. But he doesn't care.
He returned home as fast as he could and kept his money under his bed. Nothing could be stolen from the safest place he owned.
With everything ready, he hurried to change his clothes, such a black school tracksuit had never looked so cool on him.
Every afternoon I would go for a 10 kilometer run. Followed by 100 sit-ups, 100 push-ups, and 100 squats. And how did I come to the conclusion that 100 was a good number? I just multiply 10 X 10.
Furthermore, when he began to try, he saw that his body was straining. Which is why she kept that number.
And just like that, her first week had passed. Get up, go to school, and once he got to her house; she would start her routine (and if she remembered that she had homework she would do it).
He still remembers how painful the process was. The second day is still fresh in her mind.
The pain of getting up from her bed to go to school and walking to her was extremely painful. It took all of her willpower not to fall asleep in class. Returning home, she just wanted to sleep. But she stuck to her training and carried it through to the end.
The first weekend he set out to spend some of the money he had. He will not forget the gesture of that man named Asrael.
I use every ounce of your time to search for the best deals. It turned out that he liked the feeling of looking for the best deals.
I hear from the grandmothers of the aisles where the best deals were. And from a group of athletes about how good it is to eat bananas.
He would certainly put the offers to his heart, without them he would not be able to perfect his routine.
All that valuable information was stored in his brain. She now knew that she had to eat three meals a day. And if food ran short, he would just eat a banana in the morning.
He knew his training was paying off. Her pain was a good indication of how effective she was. But I felt that something was still missing. The food was already ready, the exercise too. But what was he missing?
He knew that once his first hellish week was over. Something told him that something was missing to be balanced. But how would he find out?
Even as he lay on his bedroom floor reflecting, he still didn't know. The breezes from his little fan certainly helped him through his long week. It was his biggest lifesaver. If it wasn't for his fan, he doesn't think he would have been able to survive the hot summer weather…survive…routine…fan…strength…mind…
It was the mentality.
It was the most difficult decision of all his training. But he needs to train his mentality, he knew that if he became stronger mentally; she could handle his grueling routine as well as the hellish spring heat. She even remembers that older adults always talk about how the weather was nicer before.
And with the new changes that were added to his training regimen. He finished his second week which was even more brutal than the first.
Every possible muscle ached in her, even in places she didn't even think she would. His mind tormented him all the time, he even believed that he was hearing voices. His training was driving him crazy.
I was on the right track.
And without realizing it. I am reaching its third week. And it was in that week that I noticed the first change in him, and it was in his hair.
It felt the same, but at the same time not. It's like an invisible itch is there. At first I was alarmed, but I search for several hours in the mirror in his bathroom and I don't notice anything. Now she knew she had to figure out a bathroom when she was done with her routine.
Cleanliness was extremely essential.
The fourth week was the worst of all. Her entire body was screaming in agony, the constant aggravations that had begun to manifest were the most annoying. Her mind no longer knew what else to do to avoid possible madness.
But her willpower was stronger than all her problems put together. strong series. The strongest!
He no longer had doubts about his future.
But everything that happens in the world has to change. And that was what happened on its fourth weekend.
"98…99…100!" A boy in a sweatshirt with a Z City logo on it was breathing heavily. The public park had become his favorite place to exercise.
Without dropping to the ground after his hundredth push-up. Even though her arms were shaking like jelly she got up and began her reps of squats.
"1! 2! 3!", the screams contained in his throat spoke of an unimaginable pain which only he was capable of experiencing.
People walking in the park could only see a boy taking care of himself. And the people who already knew him for coming every day only admired him. Since he hadn't missed his training once.
He doesn't remember how long it took him to finish his entire training. But right now he just wanted to rest for a while before going home.
And the best place to rest was the public park benches. The gentle breeze of the wind was all she needed to make her feel good again.
Just a blink of an eye was enough to enter the kingdom of naps.
"Hey, wake up!" someone was shaking him as he snapped back to reality.
"Huh? Is something wrong?" He was still a bit sleepy. But it only took him a few moments to see that the person who had woken him up was an agitated young man.
"Some damn Mysterious Being just showed up! Just get the hell out of here!" was all the guy in the hoodie said before running off in a hurry. Apparently, she just wanted to wake him up so he would realize the danger.
"A Mysterious Being?" He got up from his comfortable seat and looked in the direction where all the people were running from.
The being that doubted saw in the distance without turning out to be tall and thin.
"But why doesn't it move? It will be like in the video on television.", his gaze used to search for what prevented the monster from moving.
"I should go and leave it to the Pro Heroes. They'll take care of everything, in the end it's...", a distant scream from a woman interrupted him.
When he narrowed his eyes, he realized that that monster was holding someone by the neck. He also caught a glimpse of a woman who was on the ground, apparently holding something in her arms... a baby?
"A baby!" Saitama yelled.
Two things happened.
His legs had never run as fast as they had. His flight instincts had completely disappeared.
"What am I doing?!" she screamed inside her mind. She didn't know why she was running towards the Mysterious Being.
His speed reduced so quickly the distance. She now she could clearly see what was happening.
A skeleton over two meters tall that was covered in grotesque pieces of flesh that barely joined its rotting body. He was holding a young man of no more than 30 years with a big chin.
The woman who had screamed was very young and had long black hair. In her arms he held her baby in an overprotective way.
He was already very close, and none of them had noticed his imminent arrival.
"I will devour your flesh and make it...", the sound of breaking bones was what was heard. His threat was interrupted as a blow to his jaw sent him flying to the ground.
That coup de grace managed to release the man who was in trouble. His breathing was rough but he managed to see the person who had saved him. And how surprising.
"Quick! Get your family out of here before...", her gaze was focused on the people who need help. But he made the mistake of taking his eyes off his enemy.
"ARGH", A blow made of bones sank into his stomach and sent him flying several meters backwards.
"How dare you hit me!" an angry cry roared from the monster. His jaw and jawbone contained a crack that spread across his skull. Several teeth had disappeared. The flesh that hung from his body only dripped blood from the heavy fall he suffered.
"Aaaahh!" he roared furiously as he felt his skeletal face take a hit from the meaty boy's surprise blow.
The family could only tremble to see how that monster lost its sanity.
"I'll kill you! I'll kill you! I'll kill you!" His mantras filled with madness shook those present. Her bones creaked and created a gloomy sound.
The man with the big chin had frozen when he witnessed the death of that boy. He knew what his fate would be like that of his family.
The woman was petrified, seeing the lifeless body of that young child was horrendous. I hug her baby tighter. She just wanted this ugly nightmare to end.
In the distance, someone refused to die. His body demanded that he get up and fight. Her mind of him gathered all the power it had and pushed him up!
The blow had taken all the air out of him and he was having trouble breathing. But despite all that, she got up. His body was heavy, but he didn't give in to the sleep that was calling him.
"Not yet...", the words felt very heavy. Blood-stained saliva dripped from her mouth.
All eyes fixed on him.
"Not yet... I'll win... I'll beat you...", he spat with a silent voice that only a skeletal monster can hear.
The family could only see how a miracle had happened. The young savior of his rose again despite all odds.
"I will kill you in the worst possible way", a sinister smile forms in the skull of that Mysterious Being. The voice from beyond the grave sent chills over the young couple who were watching the fight that would take place.
"Aaahh!" Shouted the young hero who ran towards the monster.
"It won't happen again!" Shouted his enemy who also ran towards his adversary.
Two crashes were about to collide. Life against death.
The first blow that fired was from the monster, its size giving it the advantage in this fight. His smile grew as he saw that it would be a quick fight.
His blow was inches from shattering the skull of his surprise attacker. He could see how he would emerge victorious, how his flesh would become a part of his existence.
His blow was dodged.
The boy managed to dodge it with a spectacular bending. It was too fast for the monster to see.
When he was close to the monster's ribcage. He mustered all of his strength and threw the strongest uppercut he had ever thrown.
His hit connected to the craniocervical junction.
A loud bone-breaking sound was heard a few seconds after the blow.
A skull had gone flying several meters into the sky.
The lifeless skeletal body had fallen on top of the young hero.
The momentum coupled with the weight of the bony body was enough to throw him onto the grass in the park.
Silence had taken over. The first who managed to recover was the young wife.
"Ho...honey...", that was all the husband needed to get out of his trance and see his better half again.
Without saying anything, he got up and went to help his life partner. But she cut him off.
"I'm fine... Help the boy.", his condition was good, but he was still recovering. The hug on his little baby was evident.
With slow steps he approached the great skeleton that no longer had a head. Notice how it still moves a bit. But when he got closer, he realized that it was because of the jolts that the boy who was under the bones was making, he was trying to get out.
I already knew what I had to do.
With the strength he had, he grabbed the ribs that contained no meat and lifted the heavy skeletal body.
"Come out boy, quickly!", the body weighed more than it appeared.
With the help that was more than welcome. He got out as fast as he could, his body was killing him just for making that little effort.
"Thanks old man," he expressed as he stood up. Even standing up was a great physical and mental effort.
His condition was still good, despite his appearance covered in dirt and blood.
"I'm the one who has to thank you," I express with some relief. "If you hadn't appeared...", I didn't finish the sentence.
"Don't worry, I was just there at the right time," I declare.
He got a sincere smile from the man he saved.
They both started walking. One following the rhythm of the other. The breeze of the air greeted the two.
"Are you a provisional hero?" The man with the broken chin began the conversation.
"Na. I'm a Quirkless. I can't be a Pro Hero...", that answer made them both stop.
"You...have no powers and yet...you faced a monster..." he couldn't help but be skeptical.
"Yes... I really did, and I won...", something was taking place in his being. Something you liked.
"But you don't have a Quirks...", her companion replied.
"I know. But that won't stop me... Nothing will", a big smile spread on her face.
He didn't know what that boy was transmitting, but without a doubt it was something that couldn't be explained.
"I think I finally know what I want to do with my life", joy came out of her words. "I will become the strongest hero who can defeat anyone with one blow," her gaze turned to the sky. His fist accompanies him some time later. It was as if he took an oath to destiny.
There was a brief moment of silence.
"Do you know the Agoni family?"
Only vast of a single chance meeting for the gears of fate to begin to move. Coincidences were born to take the world to the right place.
When the Pro Heroes arrived on the scene. They only came across a deteriorating corpse with the skull missing. The police arrived some time later to cordon off the crime scene. All of them without knowing what had happened.
The newscasts spoke of a fight between two Mysterious Beings. We recommend that the population be very careful when leaving.
