The happiness of being useful.
The ostentatious waiting room was making a petite blonde woman with black wings nervous. The restlessness that gripped her was easily visible.
"What did I do?!" He mentally screamed. His body was stiff and sweaty. His gaze remained uneasy.
It didn't help that she was the only one in the room.
"That bitch Reynare used me as her scapegoat!", her little pigtails were being pulled by her in an attempt to calm her growing panic.
"I know I'm the weakest on the team...", her hands rested on her legs. "I thought if something went wrong, the three of us would blame Dohnaseek…" Her hands tightly gripped her little gothic dress.
"She doesn't care how long we've been together…?" His blue eyes had lost a bit of their light.
Its large wings were drooping and placed protectively over its small frame. She felt hurt and slapped.
"They only threw me out when I was no longer useful to them," he said quietly. Her wings moved a little.
The passage of time no longer seemed to matter to him. She remained in the same position, regardless of the fate to which she would be judged.
The sound of the imposing high quality wooden door was not enough to get her out of her melancholic thoughts.
"Mittelt", a male voice said her name.
There being no response from her. A small sphere of light shot out of the room from which her voice had come.
"Ah!" The small magic ball hit the girl's forehead.
"Will you keep wasting time or will you finally come?" there was authority in his voice.
"R-Right Lord Azazel," he hurried into the room.
If the waiting room was already stylish, her office was in another league. Several paintings filled with beautiful angelic women (a woman with huge breasts was constantly repeated) adorned the walls. The large rear windows welcomed the purple sky of the underworld.
The bookshelves surrounding the room were filled with books that many would die to get their hands on. Various Sacred Gears were displayed in display cases, which were strategically placed throughout the room.
All contrasted to have the best view of the most important point in the room.
The Angel of the dark wings that was seated on an imposing desk of the finest wood. Everything was set for him to be the center of attention.
The Governor General of all the Fallen Angels. That's what the gold plaque on his desk said.
"How may I serve you, Lord Azazel?" Mittelt responded with a deep bow. He stopped a few steps from the elegant desk.
"Yes," he nodded as he sized up his subordinate. "You are exactly the girl I'm looking for right now"
The petite woman froze upon hearing what her master said.
"I'll do my best!" he shouted with glee. "If this is my destiny, I will accept it with all my being. That bitch Reynare will be jealous! I will be able to sleep with none other than Gregori's leader, Azazel!" His thoughts took a drastic turn from his previous attitude. .
Her master's hand stopped her. A smile spread across her face. "I'll have to stop your fun, my little Mittelt."
The little fallen angel only had time to remove the big black bow from her blonde hair. She was relieved that he hadn't used magic to undress her.
Her cheeks were red with embarrassment.
"Why do all the fallen women who come to my office think that…?" she shook her head. "Just enough to say that she is the woman I'm looking for and that's it?" she wailed. "At this rate we will not grow as a faction."
Seeing the state of his Ruler, he decided to put an end to the embarrassing scene.
"How can I be of use, Lord Azazel?" She summoned all her courage to act as if nothing had happened.
"I'll assign you a special mission. Do you think you can handle it?" His attitude changed quickly, his posture was that of a born leader.
"Me?!" cry of surprise She had never before been called by Azazel, much less assigned to a great mission.
Seeing the disbelief of his inmate. She decided to go slow with the information.
"That's right. According to the information I received from you, you are part of Reynare's team. A small group of four fallen angels who are all low level," I get the jolt when I mention their rank.
"The information is correct," his mood dropped a bit.
"And that's why you're the girl I need for this important mission," he stated as he leaned back in his seat. "You have all the qualities"
"I'm not sure if…" she was interrupted.
"Don't trust my judgement," I declare with a serious attitude.
"No! I mean, yes!" I screamed in a panic.
"Excellent!" She got up from her seat. "Here's the information," she hands him a sealed envelope. "I know you will succeed in the mission," she said with a smile.
A golden teleportation circle began to materialize at Azazel's feet.
"I won't be able to promote you since you're not that strong. But I can have you lead Reynare's team, or even a new team," he replied as the light from the portal increased in brightness.
The petite woman could only stare at him in disbelief.
"Luck my little Mittelt," I greet as he fades away.
Only she stayed in the room. The envelope she had to read was on her leader's desk, waiting for her to pick it up.
"I still remember that scene that happened a month ago," she mentally told herself.
"The incredible Mittelt was recognized for doing a job of the highest importance…", he agreed with full conviction.
"That damn bitch Reynare must be rolling around in the dirt because of my luck!", I mentally shout with happiness.
"Mittelt's new group," he agreed, liking his team's new name.
The sound of a doorbell interrupted his ramblings.
"I'm finally done with your classes," she sighed.
Despite having a mission of high importance which consisted of monitoring a possible member for Gregori. The job had turned out to be boring.
He had already done such missions in the past. But the boy he had to follow was too...Normal.
He even seemed too weak. Who would end up in a near-death state from completing a routine that was too easy?
Even for her that would be nothing, she could easily do 100 times of the boy's training without any problem."
"But why does it have to be so boring," she said as she watched him leave the school.
"It's not attractive, it's not special, it's not funny, argh! Why don't you do something else!" I scream internally.
Seeing him walk past her without turning to look at her, she felt him raise an eyebrow.
"Maybe she likes men!" she couldn't help it. All the other students couldn't take their eyes off the beauty of hers. Even the girls had problems.
The advantages of being supernatural in nature are too good to count.
And so another day passed without interesting news to write. Or to send her master.
School, home, and training. The routine of that ordinary human. What could Azazel have seen in him?
"Maybe he took pity on him?", he couldn't think of anything else.
He put the matter aside and flew up into the air to distract himself. She wasn't worried about following the boy named Saitama. In the end she would know that her routine would not change.
He certainly loved this new human age. Humans would just think it was his Quirk. He definitely likes the new world, since he is more flexible when it comes to hiding his powers.
And so another week passed with no change.
The boy I was seeing was in the park. He was in the middle of his routine. He only lacked the abs and squats.
"It's been a while, don't you think, Mittelt?" He didn't need to turn from his comfortable seat to know who the voice belonged to.
"I remind you that this mission was only given to me, Reynare." The blonde haired girl replied. Her gaze was still on the boy who looked like he would collapse at any moment.
"Don't be so conceited, Mittelt. At any moment Lord Azazel may lose interest in that boy." A beautiful young woman with long black hair sat next to her. "And apparently it will be fast, he must be so pathetic if that kind of exercise is killing him," she said dismissively. "So behave well in my presence, I hope and don't forget it.", I turn to see his partner. "Otherwise I will have to punish you", there was a certain warning that did not go unnoticed.
"Whatever. And what have you come for?", he asked his old group (he was confident that it would).
"We just wanted to make sure you accomplished your mission in the best way possible," a tall woman with long blue hair said. Her beauty was identical to Reynare's.
The woman sat next to mittelt. The space was already very tight, but it didn't bother them, or they wouldn't admit it.
"It really is a pathetic sight," said a new voice, only this time it was male.
A man with wings walks towards the group of girls. He was wearing a gray trench coat with a black fedora.
"If the sight is so pathetic, why don't you go away and let me get on with my work?" Mittelt replied.
"Do you want some alone time with the boy? I thought you had higher standards, Mittelt," the blue haired woman spoke.
"My standards remain the same, Kala. Did you only come here to annoy yourself?" she responded with exasperation. Her group, or rather, her former group; They just came to annoy her.
"We have better things to do. It just happened that you were around. And being friends we decided to come see you," said the group's representative.
"We came to find a stray," Kala replied.
"Are they still standing? I thought the demons had forbidden humans from reincarnating until they knew more about the Mysterious Beings," replied the smallest of the group.
"Not all demons followed the rule. Some even only target humans with Quirks," Reynare stated.
"I hope and keep breaking the rules," replied the only man in the group. "Because otherwise, we're going to be starved of the fun," she gave a small laugh. "I just hope no costumed human fool gets in the way of our hunt."
"You're still the same Dohnak."
"How many times have I told you that it's Dohnaseek. Chiquita", he smiled when he saw that his insult annoyed her.
"That's why no one wants to team up with you," Mittelt smiled.
Before he could answer again, Kala spoke.
"Your boyfriend finally finished his training, Mittlelt," he smiled.
"Won't you get him a bottle of water?" Reynare joined.
"They just came to bother you! They probably don't have anything better to do.", she got up from her seat and spread her wings.
"I'll be leaving since I have to continue my work," she flew off without looking back.
"And now what do we do, leader," I sang the last kala word.
He clicked his tongue when he saw there was nothing they could do. Having a direct order from Azazel carries too much weight to interfere.
"Nothing for now. We'll just watch and wait until Azazel gets bored of the boy," he spread his wings and flew away. The duo followed her later.
No doubt supernatural beings love not to worry so much about their appearance. The Meta-Abilities era undoubtedly benefited the supernatural world that still lives in the human world.
Mittelt enjoyed another week without anything unusual happening. In a way, he was enjoying his job, he has several free hours a day, he does what he wants and he doesn't have to worry about his salary since Azazel gave him a very high salary just to take care of a child who still doesn't know what he's doing. makes it so special in the eyes of its Ruler.
I'm sure all of this sounds like a paid vacation to her.
And a clear example is your current state in a certain room.
Since he is in his protégé's bed watching television while drinking soft drinks.
You can see how much time has passed by the stack of aluminum cans that are scattered all over the room.
"Pro Hero All Might ranks as one of the top 10 heroes," said the reporter who was in the middle of the broadcast in M City.
"Huh. I heard that that hero is really strong," I speak out loud. Another can was knocked over only to grab a new one from the bed she was lying on.
"It has also been said that the Pro Hero Star and Stripe is quickly climbing the list. And she is one of the favorites for the Hero Billboard charts," the news shows the image of the heroine.
"He looks strong. He even has more muscles than many men I know," he declared as he whistled at the sight of the heroine.
All day I spend watching the small TV.
"And what is your opinion about the recent rumor that is circulating about the billionaire Agoni?", the interviewer asked the heroine who accompanied him.
"If you mean creating a new hero association…" a beautiful long-haired Pro Hero wearing a dominatrix outfit questioned.
"I think it's completely disrespectful to all pro heroes," the heroine replied with a serious look. "I don't know what you plan to do... But it's better to have the power of the Pro Heroes. I know that maybe everyone is afraid of the creatures we call Mysterious Beings. But we will do our best to save people." was the last thing Mittelt heard before realizing that it was already late and the boy had not arrived.
I look out the window and the sun was already hiding.
"Maybe he stayed at school?" she wondered herself mentally.
Seeing no other solution, he reluctantly got up from the comfortable bed.
"Oh." I exhale "Okay. Time to go find our boy." His steps were slow. Once I got to the window, he spread his wings.
Who are you?
A muffled voice stopped her. She turned around and noticed the person she was going to look for. I just don't expect to see him in such a sorry state. Her uniform was all torn and her head was bleeding.
He spent a few seconds processing the situation.
"I'm your fan... Do you want a soda?"
My notes
And that was the second chapter. Very short, but it was necessary.
The next chapter will be long. I would like to know your opinion since that is the only way to improve.
And I recommend that you reread the first chapter, it was completely rewritten.
