Of all the whopping two places he'd found employment under, the Burger Frog was definitely his least favorite.

Peter growled lowly as he walked out the back door of the small but busy shack and into the open floors of the Midtown Mall, crumpling up the green frog hat and shoving it in his pocket. Bad enough he gets yelled at by psychotic old ladies demanding to know the specifics of french fries, now he'll have to deal with an uncooperative mess of hat hair for the rest of the day. Not even mentioning the fact that he forgot his actual clothes at home and was now forced to walk halfway across town to change out of this ridiculous green-

"You look cute in that," a voice to the side of him said. Peter nearly jumped in surprise, spinning around with an incredulous look plastered on his face.

"Wh-what are-what're you doing here?" Kitty had her arms crossed nonchalantly as she leaned on a circular pillar, clearly struggling to contain a laugh at his unruly appearance.

"I was bored. Thought I'd surprise my boyfriend after his shift ended."

Peter rubbed the back of his neck and smiled sheepishly. "I'm surprised."

"Mission accomplished, then." She sauntered over to him and gently tugged on the flaps of his collar. "Wanna get out of here?" He felt his heart flutter under her gaze and sighed dreamily, the heavy bags under his eyes feeling ever so slightly lighter.

"Lady, you have no idea." Kitty shot him a cheeky grin before grabbing him by the wrists and leading him away, eager to find whatever sweet trouble they could throw themselves into together.
