Hello there. I come baring a new chapter for this new story! I wanted to answer some of your questions, but I feel like this chapter will answer a lot of those questions lol. So, I won't bother. Also, with the pairings, I actually do not know if I even want Naruto to be paired with anyone. He is very much a damaged person, and anyone that I would pair with him would need to heal him mentally speaking. C.C.? Maybe, but she'd at best be able to understand somewhat. Kallen? Possibly. Nunnally? Yh right, like Lelouch would let a killer like Naruto be near his little sister.
Anyways, I'll think about it, give me some suggestions that are out of the ordinary. As for him getting a Geass? Unlike. Naruto see's his Byakugan as a curse, a reminder of his failure to protect Hinata. Which is why he doesn't use it much. But, who knows, I might change my mind if someone gives me a good Geass idea. Well, enjoy for now.
"P-Please! I'm s-sorry!" A young girl cried as she was pushed down by a gang of four older kids, each of them sporting a grin, a smug face, or a sneer. Clearly, they did not like the young girl.
"Shut up! You Hyuuga always think that you are superior to us!" One of the boys shouted at her causing her to flinch and pull up her shoulders, her head retreating into her oversized jacket. She wanted to hide, hide from all this pain.
"I-I'm not…" She tried to mutter but one of the boys punched her in the gut. She doubled over and fell to her knees having the air knocked out of her. Before she could do anything, she felt one of them bring his feet down onto her head, forcing her forehead into the ground.
"Apologize and admit that you are nothing!" One of them demanded. Hot tears began to pool around her eyes, a mixture of pain from the physical abuse and the hurtful things they were saying about her.
"I-I'm s-sorry…" She muttered, but their grins grew.
"I didn't hear you!" One of them shouted. The girl began to tremble. Why, why were they doing this to her? She was nothing but nice! She couldn't even hurt a fly! She wanted her mother, she wanted her mother to help her, to save her, but that was not possible. Her mother died a year ago. All she had was her baby sister, her cold father, and an even colder family.
"Hey! Get away from her!" She heard a voice. The gang of boys took their attention off of her and towards the newcomer, a blond-haired boy with a pair of goggles on his forehead, a red scarf around his neck, and shocking blue eyes that promised pain.
"Oh yh? And what are you going to do, demon?" One of the boys mocked him as the blond growled and brought his hands up, modeling Chakra. The boy's face went from smug to fearful, the demon knew how to use Chakra!
"Bunshin no Jutsu!" The blond shouted as the four boys took a step backward as a cloud of smoke popped up right to the blond. Their faces went from fearful to back to being smug. Next to the blond was a pathetic excuse of a Bunshin Clone.
"Hahaha! Look at it! He can't even make a proper Bunshin Clone!" One of them shouted as they all laughed at the boy before the leader of the group fell backward thanks to a surprisingly effective punch to the face.
"Got you now you!" The blond shouted with a grin on his face as he spun around and punched the next boy close to him. The other two broke out of their stupor and ganged up on the boy. Unfortunately for the blond, he was outnumbered, and power powered. They were older than him and stronger than him, and with the element of surprise gone, all he could do was crawl into a fetal position, his hands over his head to protect it while the four boys delivered kick after kick.
"Stupid demon! How do you like that?!" One of the boys shouted as he delivered a brutal kick to the blond's gut, who gritted his teeth. He slowly peeked open his eyes and saw the girl looking at him, her eyes wide and filled with tears, but he just returned a small smile. He'd suffered from worse beatings.
"Look at him! And they say he's a demon! Let's go, this is getting boring." The leader of the gang said as he delivered one last kick and took off, his gang following him, completely forgetting about the girl. The said girl slowly got up and made her way over to the blond, who sat up in pain. Getting kicked over and over again was not a pleasant experience.
"A-Are you ok?" She stuttered out as he looked up at her and smiled. Despite the pain, he could still smile.
"Don't worry! I've had worse than that!" He answered as her eyes drooped and her face looked crestfallen, they had ruined his red scarf.
"B-But you s-scarf…" She muttered as the blond looked at it and shrugged his shoulders.
"Don't worry about it. I couldn't let them bully you!" He reassured her as she looked at him once more. His smile was enough to light up the whole world, despite the beating. It seemed like nothing could bring him down.
"Say, you wanna be my friend?" He asked her, his voice taking a more hushed tone. The girl's eyes widened. Had she heard that right?
"F-Friend?" Did he want to be friends with her? No one wanted to be friends with her cause all they saw was a Hyuuga. The blond nodded as he extended his hand.
"That's right! My name is Naruto, Naruto Uzumaki!" He offered her his hand, a friendship, a lifeline. She gingerly brought her own hand up and slowly grasped his. His hands were warm, but firm. His face once more split into a smile.
"H-Hinata, Hinata Hyuuga." And with that, two lonely kids made their first friends.
Naruto didn't know how many he had killed, but he didn't care. He was trained for this, striking from the shadows as he slit the throats of his unknown enemies. They never saw him coming. Keeping himself in the shadows, he cut down countless enemies. His strikes were precise, using his Tantō to effectively cut their throats as they choked on their own blood, their masks not helping them. Like a surgeon, he wasted no movements.
"Where am I?" He asked yet another unknown enemy he had captured. The enemy wore some kind of black uniform, some odd headgear, and no sign of any symbols that gave away his allegiance. He had been armed with some kind of weapon that shot fast projectiles, but he was faster.
"F-Fuck you, Eleven scum!" He didn't understand the language the man spoke. He understood the women he had saved, but not this man or his compatriots. Naruto didn't move a flinch as the man spat on him. He didn't do anything immediately, his Tantō pressed to the man's neck.
*Splurt*
A fountain of blood emerged from the man's neck as Naruto effectively severed the man's carotid arteries. The enemy fell to the ground, bringing his hands up around his neck in a vain attempt to stop the bleeding, but it was no use. His brain was already deprived of oxygen and dead within seconds. Naruto paid no mind as he swung his Tantō, the blood flying across the wall.
"I will find another." He spoke as he once again blended into the shadows. This ruined city was crawling with these unknown soldiers. It seemed like some sort of clean-up operation. He recognized the signs of one. The civilians offered no resistance, the soldiers had no markings, and they were very intent on massacring every single one of the city's destitute residents, even the children. He had once aided another Uchiha in massacring his Clan. It was one of his earliest missions after this 'training' was completed by the Foundation as a Root Nin.
Clovis la Britannia couldn't believe it. His day had not started out great. After his rousing speech at the party, he had been informed that his pet project has been stolen by terrorists of all people. Knowing that he couldn't disclose the true nature of his project, he issued a manhunt for the terrorists, which eventually led him to Shinjuku Ghetto.
"Their lives mean nothing." He had justified his order to purge the entire Ghetto. While it was a crude and reprehensible method, no one would bat an eye. He had issued a gag order on the media, no traffic was going in and out, and the soldiers under his direct command relished in the massacre. No one would care about the dead Elevens.
A few had tried to put up resistance, but they were disorganized, lacking in firepower, and fell like flies. It was all too easy.
"At least it should have been!" He shouted in his head. One by one he watched his Knightmare forces being picked off by the terrorist! One moment the battle was going his way, and the next they were being thrown out. It was as if the entire Ghetto had become one big ambush zone. They were now more organized, and reports of terrorists using captured Knightmares were pouring in. Apparently, a shipment of Knightmares had been intercepted and commandeered by them. He gritted his teeth.
"Whoever is commanding them…is he better than Tohdoh?!" He shouted in outrage. Britannian military superiority was unquestionable! The fact that mere terrorists with commandeered Knightmares were repelling his forces was an outrage! His advisors averted their gaze, not wanting to incur the prince's wrath.
"Llyod!" He shouted as a video feed of Llyod popped up on his command screen. Llyod's face already assumed a grin, he knew exactly what the la Britannia prince was going to ask of him.
"Can it win?" Clovis questioned the scientist, who shook his head with a sigh.
"Please your majesty, don't call it that." Llyod responded, almost offended at his creation being called a simple 'it'. Clovis scowled but schooled his features and nodded.
"Send it into battle," Clovis ordered as Llyod broke into hysterical laughter.
"Yes, my lord!" He responded as the video feed cut off. If he couldn't win this battle, then a Seventh Generation Knightmare would surely turn the tide!
"Now I'll owe my elder brother a debt I do not wish to incur," Clovis muttered as he sighed and sat back in his seat. A broad expression overtook his face as if the slaughter of countless was just a mundane affaire to him.
"P-Please let me go!" Finally, someone who spoke the same language, even if there was some slight deviation. Naruto blankly looked down at the man. He had broken the man's legs, disarmed him, and now had his Tantō aimed at his heat.
"Who are you, where am I?" Naruto questioned stoically, his voice showing no emotions. But for the soldier, he looked terrifying. Nothing but a blank white mask stared back at him, some blond locks sticking out of the ruined hoody of his unknown assailant.
"T-Third Lieutenant Allen Spacy, 4th Mechanized Brigade." The man, now named Allen, answered with fear. Naruto said nothing, only pressing the Tantō closer to the man's chest. The cold steel effortlessly cut through the man's uniform and contacted his skin.
"W-We are in Shinjuku Ghetto!" He answered in a hurry as Naruto mulled over that information.
"Where is Shinjuku Ghetto?" Naruto questioned as the man began to talk under the penalty of death.
"I-It's in Area Eleven." The man answered before his eyes widened and realized what he had called the place. He had expected to now be beaten for calling it that, but he received no such beating. His attacker made no movement.
"Why are to attacking this city?" The blond questioned as Allen gulped.
"I-I don't know. I'm just following orders!" The man answered. His orders were straight from the top, the highest authority in Area Eleven.
"Who is your commander?" Naruto pressed further as the man gulped as the blade began to dig into his chest. He grunted in pain as small trickles of blood began to make their way out of his body.
"C-Clovis la Britannia, the Third Prince of the Britannian Imperial Family!" The man shouted as Naruto slowly retracted the Tantō, causing the man to sigh in relief.
"Where is your commander?" The next question. The man happily answered the question, but he gave a vital piece of information.
"I-I have a tablet! It has a map that has the location of all of our forces, the prince's location, access codes, and everything! Please, let me go! I have a family!" The man begged as Naruto carefully picked up the so-called tablet and inspected it. True to the man's words, it had a map that displayed all locations of the enemy, and they appeared to be in real-time too.
"What is this technology?" He thought to himself. He knew about computers, but computers back home were big, cumbersome, and not nearly as complicated, small, and portable as this. He looked at the map and saw a single blue dot with a crown on it.
"The enemy commanders position no doubt." With a nod to himself, he secured the tablet. He then turned his attention to the wounded man. Foundation doctrine was to leave no witnesses, no loose ends.
"I'm sorry." That was all Naruto said. Adding wind Chakra, he swung the blade toward the soldier, decapitating the man. Allen Spacy didn't know even know what happened. His life was over within seconds as his head was severed from his body. All he was able to do was release one final breath. Naruto looked at the man he had killed. He was just another man; in the long list of men, he had killed. Another tally, another body added to his count.
"I'm sorry, Hinata…I truly am a monster." He thought to himself. The thoughts of his first and only friend made him emotional. She was the only thought that made him feel like a living being, a human. But beyond that, he cared for nothing, felt nothing. Everything he did now was for her memory.
"Hey, you! What are you doing? Get out of here kid!" Naruto stiffened as he turned around to find another man, but he was dressed in ragtag clothes, armed with a weapon that look like he had stolen. Ah, he was one of the resistance fighters that was putting up a fight. He had taken note of them. Acting on instincts, a Kunai slipped down his shelves into his hand before he flicked it. Within seconds the Kunai found itself embedded into the resistance fighter's skull. The man fell back, dead.
"I have no allies, all I have is potential enemies." He muttered to himself. He could trust no one, especially not anyone armed with a weapon. He walked over to the freshly killed resistance fighter and knelled down and retrieved the Kunai. He saw the man's expression; it was of surprise and shock. Thinking for a moment, he brought his hand up and over to the man's face. He stopped as his fingers hovered over the man's eyes before he resumed his action and closed them.
"I'm sorry…" He muttered another apology before he stood back up and vanished. It was time to stop this massacre.
Lelouch Lamperouge smirked as he made his way into the G1 Command Unit. It was all too easy given the new powers he had just received. Idly he wanted to drag his half-brother out of the G1 Command Unit with the terrorist help, capture him, and ask him the questions he so desperately wanted answers to. However, that was not to be. The terrorist, while performing well, quickly fell apart when that new Knightmare appeared on the battlefield.
"A few losses and they ran like cowards." He thought to himself, mentally taking note of how a professional force was always a better option than a rag-tag group of civilians turned terrorists. Still, he had used them for long enough to erode Clovis's forces, forcing him to break formation, and allowing him to slip through the gaps. It was all too easy.
"You never could beat me in chess." He thought. Clovis was a small fish compared to all the other ones. He might have been the Third Prince, but that meant nothing when the Emperor, their father saw them all as nothing but pawns. The thought of that man caused Leloush to frown, his hands balled into fists.
"I'll make him pay for mother…for my sister…" He muttered to himself. So lost in his thoughts that he almost tripped over something. Looking down he had to hold back his breakfast. It was a body.
"W-What the?" He questioned as his gaze followed down the hall. Bodies, it was littered with bodies. The hallway was like an art piece, with blood sprayed all over the walls. Soldiers and administrators alike lay dead, all had their throats sliced open.
"Who could have done this?" He asked himself. To his knowledge, he was the only one that had come here to kill Clovis. So, who?
"Please! Spare me! I ordered my forces to pull back!" Lelouch eyes widened as he heard Clovis's cries of mercy coming down the hall. His voice was full of fear and that meant one thing; someone had him held hostage.
"NO! He is mine to kill!" He shouted mentally as he began to run down the hallway. This was his revenge! He wanted Clovis to answer for his crimes before he killed him. As he ran over the bodies and towards the door, he quickly opened it to see an even more gruesome sight. If the hallway was little with bodies, the command bridge would be a sight of massacres. Bodies of the bridge crew were hunched over their command modules, some lay dead in their own pool of blood, and the overall image was enough to turn him green.
"You die for your crimes." Lelouch shuddered as he heard a cold voice speak as if passing on ultimate judgment. He looked to his left and saw someone, a masked figure with tattered clothing, ran his short blade through Clovis's neck. Lelouch's eye's widened just like Clovis's. Lelouch's widened because he had lost an opportunity of getting answers and revenge, and Clovis's widened because his life had been snuffed out.
"NO!" Lelouch shouted. Clovis couldn't die yet! No! He needed answers! But before he could do anything, he felt a cold blade dig into his neck and he stopped. He was at the mercy of this unknown enemy.
"Who are you?" The cold voice questioned as Lelouch gulped. His situation had gone from great to utter shit.
And that's it for now! So, Naruto killed Clovis before Lelouch could get his hands on him. What will Lelouch do now? What will Naruto do now? And yes, I know that Naruto is doing out-of-Naruto character stuff, but this is Root Nin Naruto. It is possible that this is what Naruto could have become in the canon had Danzo managed to get his hands on him.
With that said, I'll see you all next chapter!
