It was a long and stressful battle, but Kazuma was somehow able to defeat two giant frogs on his own. While Aqua did technically help even though it wasn't her intentions to get eaten it was a perfect distraction.

"T-Thank you Kazuma!" The self-proclaimed goddess cried over and over. "Thank you, thank you!"

"Okay okay I get it!" She was covered in frog guts. The smell is unbearable. " Just get off me already!"

After he pried the crying girl off of him, what's you gave up and headed back to the guild to recuperate.

"That was awful." Kazuma sat down at the nearest table defeated

"i'm sorry," Aqua pouted. "Next time, we'll get it for sure."

Kazuma rolled his eyes. She's been saying that for the past 4 months since they decided to actually go out on adventures, and each time, they failed and ended up right back where they started.

" we need to change up our game plan, I keep putting up posters telling people that were looking for more party members, but for some reason, no one is showing up."

" You're right. It's almost like someone is taking them down behind our backs." Aquas little suggestion to make any sense to him. It's not like they made any enemies. They were just working citizens until a few months ago. He has one faint idea on what could be happening, but it made even less sense. But then again, what if.

" Hey aqua, remember when I put up the request for new party members, and you didn't want to help."

" it's not that I don't want to help, I was busy."

" What were you doing since you were so busy?" As he asked that question, he noticed Aqua stops making eye contact with him.

"I-I was out drinking." She responds noticeably, being even more nervous than before.

" Of course! you're out drinking. Silly me, how could I ever forget." He playfully smacks his forehead and starts laughing. Eventually, Aqua starts laughing with him to hide how uncomfortable she is. " it's just when I was done I didn't see you at the guild hole, and I went back to the Staples. You weren't there either, so you know I got a little curious." Aquas laughter stopped.

" Oh well, you see, I have a couple of drinking buddies, but I haven't seen them lately, so they're probably out dead somewhere." Kazuma could tell she was catching on. He was going to ask to meet them next. Oh well, time for a different approach.

" Aw shucks, well why don't we have a couple of drinks ourselves."

"Um, sure." She had a feeling something was off, but she couldn't say no to free drinks ( or at least she assumed Kazuma was buying).

Kazuma knew that he probably couldn't out drink aqua. Luckily, she was having so much fun she didn't notice he barely touched his drink. Eventually, he got what he wanted she was so wasted that she stopped making sense, and he scared her back to the Staples.

" There we go, Aqua. we're home now, so let's get you in bed."

" Thank you, Kazuma, you're so nice for a shut up." He chose to let that last comment slide just this once.

" hey aqua be honest with me, did you take down the Flyers."

"Yeah, I did." He said I should try to get comfortable. You already knew it was her at this point, but still carrying the confirmation made him so mad he could kill her. He resisted the urge and decided to ask one more question.

" And why would you do that." She was too gone to hear the anger in his voice. " You know we can't handle the quest on our own, and we need help surely you have a good reason, right?"

"I love you."

It took him a minute to process what she just said. Maybe he didn't hear her right. She is drunk right now.

" I'm sorry, what?"

"I said I did it because I love you. That's why I took down the Flyers. it's just been the two of us all this time, and every day has been awesome. But if we get more party members then I have to share you and you won't spend as much time with me anymore." She struggles to get up and made her way over to Kazuma and gave him a quick peck on the cheek. "Night night." she then passed out immediately.

Kazuma had always thought that whenever he got confessed to for the first time, it would be a magical moment. However, now he just feels dirty. Better yet, it got us just declared her love for him, and he feels nothing.

Hi hope you guys like this, my knowledge on konasuba is limited to the anime and some of the mobile game but I just thought this would be a funny idea. So if anything happens that you don't think is more accurate, that's my excuse also try to be open-minded this is just something I'm doing for fun.
