Gouenji was waiting at the bus station for his bus to pick him up, he however wasn't alone since Genda who was quietly sitting on the bench, turned to look at him angrily. Gouenji was wondering why Genda was seemingly so pissed off, and Genda didn't feel like wasting anymore time so he decided to break the silence.
Genda: Say, where were you?
Gouenji: I was just buying some more Hair Gel to keep my fade clean.
Genda: That's not even what I meant! Where were you when I needed to pay you back tenfold!
Gouenji: Pay me back? What did I do to you?
Genda: Say WHAT? Is our rivalry some sort of joke to you, I thought you of all people would stay true to me as my one and only rival!
Gouenji: Ok I'm seriously lost over here.
Genda: Fine I'll explain, where were you in that Raimon vs Shin Teikoku Match?
Gouenji: What in the world is Shin Teikoku supposed to be, did you guys give yourself an edgier name or something?
Genda: You seriously have no idea, huh? Do you know how cheated on I felt after learning a life-sacrificing move just to finally beat you, only to find out you aren't there with them.
Gouenji: Ohhhh, now I get it. It must've been when I kicked myself off the team in order to keep my win record clean as possible and ensuring my sister's safety
Genda: YOU DID WHAT NOW!? I respect you for thinking about your sister's safety, but still do you know how boring it was to face off against just Someoka and Fubuki. No one can give me the same kind of spark as you can! I can't believe you would do that me, not giving me a chance to use Beast Fang on you, I thought we had something special Gouenji.
Gouenji: Damn, I'm sorry bro. I didn't know our supposed rivalry meant that much to you.
Genda: That confirms it, you aren't taking our rivalry seriously, have some shame bro!
Gouenji: To be fair bro, I kinda consider Endou as my biggest and greatest riv-
Genda: DON'T YOU DARE FINISH THAT SENTENCE! I WILL NOT ALLOW YOU TO MAKE THAT STATEMENT EVER AGAIN! NEITHER ENDOU NOR FUBUKI OR EVEN KIDOU IS YOUR NUMBER ONE RIVAL! THAT SPOT IS ONLY RESERVED FOR ME, GENDA KOUJIROU! HAVE I MADE MYSELF CLEAR! I can't believe you vanished on me during that match and now you're ignoring my place as your #1 Rival.
Gouenji: Sheesh bro, can you chillax a bit. It's not even what it looks like.
Genda: I bet you say all the players. I bet if Kageyama was still alive, he would've told me you were no good for me, and let me tell you one last thing. Remember all the times you scored against me, I was letting you score out of pity.
After Genda had finished throwing his temper tantrum, he turned to leave, but Gouenji stopped him by calling out his name.
Gouenji: Ok let's cement this rivalry once and for all with a Duel!
Genda: A duel!?
Gouenji: Yes, It's just a little face-off between the two of us. I'll shoot once and let's see if you can stop it. So what do you say, are you up for it?
Genda: You don't realize how this much means to me Gouenji. To hear this coming from you just made my day, now LET'S DO THIS!
At the Riverbank Field...
Gouenji was standing just a few centimeters away from the penalty area, staring at Genda who was standing over at the goal-line ready to face Gouenji's shot head-on.
Gouenji: I will only shoot once, get ready Genda!
Genda: Alright Gouenji, I've prepared another new move just for you! Let's see if you can take on Force Shield!
Gouenji smiled at that and coated his right leg with crimson aura. Flames were circling around his leg and that caught Genda off-guard.
Genda: Wait a minute? Don't you usally use just your left foot for Maximum Fire or any of your other moves?
Gouenji: Can you just watch before commenting? Alright here we go!
With his flaming right leg, he started by kicking the ball upwards into the sky. Gouenji's entire body was enveloped by crimson flames, but soon after the flames separated and proceeded manifest as his aura instead. Gouenji proceeded to jump up and spin left to right.
Genda: A Fire Tornado? No that can't be it, he's spinning a lot faster than he usually does whenever he performs that move.
Genda was right, seeing as Gouenji actually was spinning three times faster than he would normally do for Fire Tornado.
When Gouenji was high enough, he knew it was time for him to unleash his most powerful move ever on his supposed #1 Rival.
Gouenji: INFERNO HURRICANE!
Gouenji yelled out as his body was in a horizontal postion and struck the ball with his crimson-flared left foot. The ball was set ablaze as it was kicked forward and just like Gouenji said, the ball didn't leave a normal stream of fire from the usual Fire Tornado, instead it was a literally giant blazing hurricane that was sent Genda's way.
Genda: OH NO! Force Shield!
Genda called out as he jumped up, performing a front flip before diving back down. He did a superhero landing pose and smashed his fist into the ground, creating a Force Field even stronger and bigger than Full Power Shield.
The ball made contact with the shield a second later, Genda tried his best to keep the shot at bay, but to no avail, the whole hurricane focused onto one single point and easily broke through the move. The ball made contact with the net, resulting in Gouenji winning and Genda losing.
Genda: Damn it, I didn't expect that he would evolve his Fire Tornado into this monstrous of a move.
Gouenji: Hey Genda, you did a great job in holding that move for at least three seconds. I must say, I'm impressed with your Force Shield technique, I can't wait for our next match.
Genda: Thanks, and next time I promise you, I will win.
Gouenji: Yeah sure, I'll hold you to that.
They both shook hands and began walking home in opposite directions.
