Today was Sarada's graduation day from the academy, she is now 11 years old .
After the celebration she was walking back home with her mother Sakura and her younger brother Harume Uchiha , Harume was 9.
Sarada is above average for her era , she is definitely strong , She is also exceptional at taijutsu . Although compared with her father at the same age she is weaker and has less "battle iq" but this doesn't undo the fact that she is the strongest out of her class and pretty smart as well . Sarada didn't activate her sharingan yet and that bothers her as she wants to be stronger to become the next hokage but because she is living in times of peace , she hasn't really faced any adversities yet .
As to why Sarada wants to become hokage , she has no concrete reasoning yet . She seems to want to be a hokage because Naruto the 7th hokage seems perfect to her . He is strong , loved and respected by everyone , He also seems to spend lots of time with his family unlike her father who doesn't spend as much time with her or with her brother .
Sarada loves her father but she despises the fact that he isn't at home (or at the village ) for longer periods of time .
Her father values work over family , That's what Sarada seems to believe although it is not true .
She also noticed people seem to fear her father and dislike him and his presence , Sarada doesn't know yet that her father is an ex-criminal . When Sarada asks her mother why people treat her father like that , Sakura immediately changes the subject , Sarada stopped asking ever since .
Life in this new era is peaceful , However this is not good news for everyone . For civilians that is great. The economy is prospering , Technology is advancing , Life spans are increasing , But for some shinobi's this is bad news , peace and prosperity means little to no missions . which means no work for average shinobis .
Its quite normal now to see Chunins and Jounins working civilian jobs granted they are less paying , But this is the only kind of job available .
It seems that there is no need for shinobis in this era .
Some shinobis though seem to refuse this , they refuse to accept that the age of shinobi is turning to an end .
Sarada and Harume return home today to A nice surprise .
Sasuke is back home he is standing tall smiling beside the table wearing an apron .
On the table there seems to be a cake made especially for Sarada by Sasuke with "congratulations" written on it .
He didn't forget about Sarada's graduation day.
When Sarada sees her father she is overwhelmed by happiness tears come out of her eyes as she dashes to her father and hugs him tightly , "thank you " she says quietly .
"Congratulations" Sasuke replies as his smile widen .
Harume runs towards Sasuke as well and jumps over him in a playful manner " Father is back" he says happily .
Sakura standing by the side of the door smiling as she watches all of this infront of her eyes , She seems to get more excited when Sasuke invites her for the family hug .
Its late at night , Sarada is sleeping on the couch while Harume is sleeping on Sasuke's lap, Sasuke carries Harume gently and then uses a Susano arm to carry Sarada , he puts each of them in their bed and gave them both a kiss on the forehead.
Sakura is in the kitchen washing the dishes .
As Sasuke enters the kitchen looking for a cup of water Sakura notes to him that Sarada graduated top of her class .
"That's what I expect from our daughter " Sasuke replies with a smile
"They love you so much ..you know… Sarada and Harume both refuse to sleep when you are home because they want to spend every single minute with you.." Sakura says while looking at Sasuke who puts down the cup of the water on the table in front of him as soon as he hears that , He approaches her and gives her a kiss then he returns back to the unfinished cup of water …
"I will have to leave tomorrow morning though" Sasuke says , his smile fading away as soon as he sees the disappointment on his wife's face
" I will return back in 4 days though" Sasuke says trying to remove the disappointment out of her face and he succeeds .
Although shinobis work is getting less and less, this is not the case for Sasuke Uchiha though .
He is without hesitation the most important asset for the leaf village currently , He is strong enough to face serious threats and his rinnegan allows him to travel through other dimensions .
Some people question Sasuke Uchiha's loyalty to the leaf village though , But Naruto trusts him .
On the other side Boruto is returning home holding his father's hand .
Boruto unlike Sarada seems to be unexcited about the idea of becoming a shinobi .
He doesn't have a clear goal yet nor does he have any ambitions ,The only reason he entered the academy is because he feels obliged to do so because his father is the hokage and Arguably is The strongest shinobi .
Boruto hates the fact that he is always compared to his father , in every action he does he is compared to his father .
Boruto loves his father and respects him but he wishes to be his own unique character , he wishes not to be in the shadow of his father .
They return home ( Boruto and Naruto ) to Hinata holding 2 year-old himawari They have a pleasant night together .
