It has been a trying year for Norma. Scratch that. It's been a trying life. She can't just really say that things went sideways with her recently. It's always been the case since she can remember. Things just went from bad to worse recently with Sam dying, Norman blacking out, and she knew she had to think fast and do something.
That's why she came up with a brilliant idea to move.
White Pine Bay…it seems far enough, quiet enough. A small town is what she and Norman need to start over. They can reinvent themselves, live a happy life for once.
She already visited the house and the motel. It's rustic, has an old vibe to it which she likes right away. For its price, it's a pretty good deal. She drove around the town and it seems like the people are cordial with each other. They have everything they might need, places they might need to go to. The town is perfect.
Since it's getting dark, she decided to stop in Portland for the night, get herself a room before resuming driving to Arizona to pick up Norman. He's at a sleep over with his friend so he will be fine.
"What can I get you?" the bartender asked.
"Oh…martini please. Thank you", she answered.
This is the first time since the whole Sam situation that she'll get a moment to herself. Oh…god knows she needs to unwind because she's been so tensed the last couple of months dealing with the investigation, the funeral, the insurance company, not to mention researching about Norman's possible condition.
The bar is pretty loud which is great. The music helps to drown her dark thoughts. When her drink came, she just let go, allow herself to relax even just for a night. She knows next to nothing about running a motel but she can learn. She's a quick study anyway. She will figure it out and she will be able to support Norman.
"Sorry, is this seat taken?"
Norman got pulled out of her head and saw a man with a gorgeous pair of eyes looking at her.
"No, it's not as far as I know", she answered.
The man smiled and sat next to her. It's not why she's there. She's did not come to the bar to pick up some random guy. She just wants to have a drink and relax. That's all.
"You're from around here?" and the man wanted to start a conversation.
"No, I am not", she replied without looking at him.
"Oh…sorry, I didn't mean to bother you",
Well…now, Norma feels bad about being rude. "It's alright. You're not bothering me. It's just that…nothing. I am guessing you're from around here then",
"Not here exactly yes but close enough. I just go here to have a drink. It's far enough from my world so it's perfect", he said.
He does have a charming smile and he does seem sincere to talk to. Perhaps, having a conversation with a stranger is not such a bad idea.
"They do have a great taste in music", she noted.
The man nodded. "That they do. It feels weird to converse with something without knowing their name", he trailed.
Oh…he wants her to give him her name. Normally, she would but tonight, she's feeling a little bit different.
"Let's not",
"Oh…"
"It's not what I meant. Listen, I know this dance, right? I think that you know it too. I tell you my name, you give me yours, we sit here and drink and get hammered, probably, and then…one thing will lead to another and…I just want to do things differently", she rambled.
His full attention is on her and she doesn't know what to do with it. She's not the type to get confused by a man. She spent her life studying how to work around her way with men. This shouldn't be a problem for her.
"Okay…so, how do you want to do this then?" he asked, clearly intrigued.
"I just want to have a great time…without the small talk, without the usual dance and flirtation and banter. Does that make sense?"
He chuckled and nodded.
"I think I know what you mean…but, without names too?"
"There's something alluring about a little bit of mystery", she responded.
He laughed at that. "Alright then…no names, no small talk, no banter", she nodded. "Can I kiss you?"
The question caught her off guard. Well…she did demand that there's no small talk. He got what she meant, and he went straight to the point.
"Is that what you want to do?" she asked.
"Yes", he answered while his eyes are on her lips.
"Then, you can…kiss me", she agreed.
When she felt his lips on hers, she almost melted. It's soft, chaste, but it was enough to send her body on fire. What is up with this guy for her to have a reaction like this? When he pulled back, he is smiling at her.
"Not bad…for the whole mystery thing you got going", he muttered.
Norma laughed.
"It's not bad at all",
"Ball's in your court. What do you want to do next?" he asked.
She arched a brow at him before paying for her tab. He copied her gesture, and they went outside the bar. She went inside her car, and he looked at her for a second, before she nodded and he went inside too. He played at the sleeves covering her right arm until they reached the motel she's renting for the night.
Once they're inside her room, she felt him standing just behind her, his warmth already flooding her senses. God…she is already heady and she didn't even drink that much.
"You still up for this? I want you to be sure", he said.
She turned around and faced him. Those eyes…she can just get lost in those eyes.
"I am sure", she replied.
When he kissed her this time, it's no longer chaste. It's pure fire, burning her, consuming her. Her knees buckled and she found herself clinging to him. He backed her against the wall before he pressed his body against her. A moan escaped her lips and she could have sworn she heard him growl a little.
He began attacking her neck and suddenly, she felt constricted by her clothes, so she pushed him before she pulled it off of her. He smiled before he removed his own top. God…he looked divine. She allowed her hands to feel his tone physique before he resumed kissing her.
She didn't even realize that she's grinding against him. Every part of her is on fire and she desperately seeking that release she hadn't had in a long time.
"Take me", she blurted out. "Please…take me",
Did she just beg? God…she's hopeless.
He did as told and carried her to the bed. He undid her pants, peeled it off her before he stripped himself. She licked her lips upon seeing him standing erect before her. He looked like he came out of a fantasy dream.
"You're beautiful", he whispered before kissing her again.
She's been told that many times and when someone tells her that in bed, she's reluctant to believe him because she knows that men like to say that to every woman they sleep with but with this mysterious guy on top of her, she found herself believing it without any hesitation.
He traveled south, kissing her skin along the way.
"You don't have to…" whatever it is she has to say, it's been cut off when she felt his mouth on her. "Fuck…"
He's good. He's way too good for her to stop him from doing what he's doing. Her eyes rolling at the back of her head…that's how good he is. She knows that if he keeps it up, she's going to come.
"It's alright. I want to taste you when you come", he said like he's reading her mind.
"Shit…"
That has done it.
She crescendo and she almost screamed as her climax hit her hard. He didn't let up though. He kept at it until she felt another wave coming.
"Oh my god!" and she's coming again.
This time, she pushed his head away from her because it's too much. She's panting, oversensitive. That never happened to her before and it is mindblowing.
"You still good?" he asked.
That…never happened to her before either. She's never been with someone who cares enough to stop and ask how she's doing. They just take what they need from her and that's it.
"Yeah…better than good", she answered.
He smiled at her and kissed her again. She can taste herself on his mouth and it is making her headier.
"You ready?" he checked in again.
"I am", she confirmed.
When he slowly entered her, her jaw slackened. His big but not too much for it to hurt. He's considerate. He makes sure she is ready for him. He waited until she could adjust to him. She started feeling something stirring within her that she cannot explain. This is just sex. It's supposed to be just that but why does it feel like it's something else?
Then, he started moving…slow at first. She feels like crying. It's so gentle, so caring. Sex or at least the version of it that she has been acquainted to is nothing like this. Sex has been purely carnal for her, mostly violent. It's never been like this.
"I am not hurting you, am I?" he asked.
She looked at him and saw the concern in his eyes. A few tears escaped her eyes and he gently wiped them away.
"No, you're not",
"Tell me, what's wrong?"
She shook her head. "There's nothing wrong. That's the thing. This is just perfect. I never had this before. God, I am such a mess",
"You're not. This is about feeling good, making you feel good. So…the moment you feel uncomfortable, you hold the power. Tell me to stop and I will", he said.
She pulls him down and kissed him because she's left speechless. Uncomfortable is far from what he's making her feel right now and she finds herself wanting more. She matches his pace until he picked it up.
God…she's burning, and she didn't want the fire to be put out.
He is hitting all the right places and the next thing she knew, she's coming again. It took her by surprise that she gasped and the air out of her lungs got knocked out.
Her unexpected release pulled his own and he groaned right into her ear as he thrusted a few more times before stopping.
They cling to each other for a few minutes after that, not wanting to let each other go. They're both covered in sweat but none of them mind. They're both content just to be with each other.
"Am I crushing you?" he asked.
"No, you're not. I like your weight on top of me", she answered. "Do you mind staying here until morning?"
"I don't", he answered.
They held each other until they've fallen asleep. In the morning, they bid each other goodbye, knowing that they are likely never to see each other again.
Little did she know that she will see him again, but it's not going to be under the same circumstance.
