When Rose Potter opened her eyes she found herself in a long empty black void. She was sitting on a small chair and in front of her was a throne, occupied by a pale young man with black hair, sunken in blue eyes and dressed in a long black coat. "Rose Potter, welcome to the afterlife, I sadly have to inform you that you have died." Spoke the man and Rose had to take a double take.

"W-What?" Quickly she tried to remember the last few hours. They had just defeated Voldemort and were celebrating, then suddenly she felt…dizzy and lost consciousness. "H-How could I be dead?!" She asked angrily, not believing this to be true!

"It's rather sad actually.. You have been dead this entire time, the Horcrux was the only thing that kept you alive. When it was destroyed you were kept alive by the residual magic of the Horcrux but that only was enough for a few hours, depleted even more by your duel with Voldemort. So yeah once that was gone…your body simply died and fell over. Oh, I'm Mortis, God of Death btw, I oversee your world's afterlife. Thanks BTW for getting Voldemort, guy was a thorn in my side for ages. I sent him straight to hell with great glee hehehehe." His laughing sounded hollow too Rose who just stared horrified at the ground.

"Im…I'm dead…." Mortis looked at the 17 year old with pity.

"I'm sorry but it sadly cant be changed. Now as for what comes next, you basically have a few options. Reincarnation into your world without memories, or Heaven….but there is a third option." Rose looked up confused. What else could there be? Unless she somehow did something that was deserving of hell!

"You see, there is another world that's currently plagued by the Demon King, so no one wants to be reincarnated there…I could send you over there with all your memories and abilities intact. In fact I kinda wish you would go for that option. If anyone deserves a chance at a second life, it's you, and you don't have to actively hunt the Demon King, you can just do whatever you like. I even gave you a cheat item that makes you far stronger than average." Rose still just…sat there, trying to comprehend what was happening.

"M-my friends…are they alright?!" Mortis blinked before faintly smiling.

"You truly are too kind hearted Potter. They're grieving of course…at the moment they assume that you died from a delayed curse reaction. It's doubtful anyone besides your two friends Ron and Hermione will ever learn of the true cause of your death, which I believe is better for everyone. Now…there is another reason why I offered you to go to this new world." He made a hand movement and a small table with a tea set appeared before Rose, and his throne moved closer.

He poured Rose and himself a cup. "You see…normally I am not allowed to send people to that world thanks to Eris and Aqua. The two Goddesses who are the head and center of the most prominent religions in that world. I used to have that position, but the two despise anything related to the undead, including myself. So they made sure to utterly snuff out my religion, and killed my followers."

"Thats horrible! Why would they do that?! Unless you're some kind of evil god?" Said Rose outraged.

"I'm not evil, well not by your definition. Yes I deal with undead, but being a zombie, lich, vampire or the like doesn't mean your evil by default. Same with demons, but these two young morons still believe unholy equates to evil. Sigh, their youth and arrogance blinded them to the truth. By all accounts Eris and Aqua are wary minor Goddesses. They only govern one world and even share it, whereas my faith exists in hundreds of worlds and I'm older than them by centuries." He took a sip from his cup.

"So…then why can you send me over?...hm this is good tea" Rose took a sip as well.

"Well it's because Eris is in quite the pickle. You see Aqua too was in charge of getting people from another world too reincarnate. One such boy was Kazuma Satou. he died only a few days ago. He saw a girl nearly run over by a truck and jumped in between….at least, that's what he assumed. In reality it was a slow moving tractor and the girl was in no danger. However, because he believed he was about to die, he went into shock and had a heart attack. He died in the hospital…" He clenched his fists in anger. "Because the doctors were too busy laughing at how pathetic the whole situation was, when they could've helped him. By the time they realized they let him die they just…shrugged and claimed they couldn't save him in time..and Aqua? Well she added to that whole story, that even the boys parents were laughing at their child's death."

Rose just…stared in utter horror at the god before her. How…how could anyone be this cruel?! That was...downright evil! She wanted nothing more but to curse that Goddess and these doctors! "I see you share my anger over the situation but it gets worse. She kept taunting the boy until he snapped and made a foolish decision…he chose Aqua as his cheat item, and being the moron that Aqua is, she agreed before she realized what he said. Now normally, you would think having a Goddess as a companion is good…but it isn't. Aqua is an utter moron, too stupid to use her powers properly." Wow, Rose really pitied that boy.

"So…that's why I want you to go over there and help that boy. Not only will it make Aqua and Eris upset, but you can help someone that honestly deserves better…Kazuma is...okay. To be honest, he's a complete asshole. He has a very cynical world view, believing everyone is an asshole and people who are nice just pretend they aren't dickheads. He had a very sad life. Originally, I would have been in charge of his world but Aqua was able to get me suspended from it. So I still deem it my responsibility to help him." Rose nodded, and in all honesty even if the boy was an asshole, he didn't deserve to die like this.

"Now as for you, well as you know you had all three Deathly Hollows in your possession." With a wave of his hand the Elder Wand, the Resurrection Stone, and her Invisibility Cloak appeared before her. "This makes you the Master of Death. Which in layman's terms means you are now a powerful Necromancer" Rose spit out her tea in shock.

"WHAT?! N-Necromancer?!"

"I can see how you're worried about this, but be not alarmed. Necromancy isn't something evil as your world's beliefs. Making a corpse move…tell me what about that is actually evil? All you're doing is using magic to keep the joints together. It's more like puppeteering a marionette. Your magic is the string and the corpse the puppet. There's really nothing evil about it. Same with other undead, there are many ways to become one, why when one guy became a Lich, it was out of sheer stubbornness to not die! And all he did was rub it in peoples faces but noooo he's a "filthy" evil undead so Eris had her followers kill him! UGH how I hate that brat! Ahem…sorry we went a bit off topic there!" Rose didn't exactly mind the small tangent.

"NOW! Lets get too you're "cheat" so to say." He snapped his fingers and a stack of papers appeared on the table.

"I…get the hallows and a cheat on top of that?" Mortis nodded.

"Yep! Take your time I'll do some work until you're finished" He pulled out a pair of glasses and summoned a big stack of papers and a pen.

"...paperwork?" She asked a bit confused.

"Yep! Be happy you never have to do this, it's a pain….oh hey, this is dear Bellatrix's punishment. I'm gonna make her watch Voldemort dying over and over and over!"

"Oooohhh good one!" Mortis thanked her and went on too sign his papers while Rose read through her stack. Most of it wasn't really of any use to her. Then she found something.

"I mean…if I become a Necromancer….might as well go with the theme!" She looked up from her paper. "I've decided," Mortis looked up.

"That was fast, what did you pick?" He took the paper…and laughed. "Ha! This is so gonna piss Aqua and Eris off! Now let me explain what benefits your hallows give you. The cloak is the same, except it now makes undead recognize you as a higher authority, although if it acts is dependent on the strength of the undead. You can turn the invisibility on and off at will, the stone makes controlling ghosts and the likes easier. As the true master of death, being summoned is also less painful for them, so don't hesitate to call your parents for a chat." Rose's eyes lightened up and she looked at the stone, already anticipating being able to properly call her parents…wait…

"Could I…is it possible too…" Mortis knew what she was gonna ask…and nodded.

"Resurrect them as undead? Yes…but it WON'T be easy. I recommend you first level up and study Necromancy more before you try. if you screw it up, their souls could be damaged beyond repair or even be lost entirely." Rose nodded. "Now the wand….you know carrying both a wand and your cheat item might be a tad a hassle soooo let me try something." Mortis lifted up the wand and it started to glow. Slowly the wand stretched out and became thicker. Soon it no longer was a short stick but a staff. At the tip of the staff now was a wooden dragon holding a holden gem in his mouth, while his tail became a long curved bladed. The Elder wand just turned into a wary impressive looking Scythe.

"W-woah…" The Elder Scythe hovered in front of her and she grabbed it.

"I combined the Elder Wand with your cheat item, the Death Scythe. The Elder wand would have reduced the costs for any spell cast by roughly a quarter. The Death Scythe reduces the costs for any necromantic spell by 50%. This has combined with the Elder wands effect, so congratulations, all your spells now have a 75% reduced cost. Quite the boon I'd say." Rose just nodded while staring at her new weapon. "So this would be all then, I will transfer you now to Bellzerk. Oh, here's also a pouch with money so you can pay the entrance fee at the guild." A blue magic circle appeared underneath Rose and slowly she was lifter into the air.

"W-woah okay! Um…I-I gonna try my best! And thank you!" She waved goodbye.

"No no, thank you Rose Potter. OH! Also you might have a little surprise once you're there, but I'll let you see that for yourself! Have a good journey and good luck!" Before Rose could ask about the surprise she was blinded by a flash of light.

When Rose's eyes recovered, she now stood at a grassy field next to a road. She was still holding her Elder Death Scythe. The Resurrection stone became a necklace and she wore the Invisibility cloak on her shoulders. "Okay...new life Rose…you can do this." She started walking but soon realized she had no idea where the guild was so she asked the next best person. "Excuse me sir? Where can I find the guild?"

"Oh just down the road little miss, the big building in the center of the city you can't miss it!" She looked down the road and nodded.

"Thank you very much sir!" She waved goodbye and walked down the path and entered the guild. Many gave her concerned looks and Rose realized she was still wearing her tattered clothes underneath her cloak. She probably looked like a beggar or as if she just escaped a war zone…which she technically did. Ignoring the whispers and murmurs she approached the counter, her eyes almost bulged out of her head. The woman at the front desk was a ...very well proportioned woman with blond hair and bright blue eyes...Rose couldn't help but sadly look down at her own chest, years of abuse at the Dursleys hand and constant near death experiences were not kind to her body's development. Despite being 17 she could easily pass for 14. Urgh it wasnt fair!

If the woman noticed her grumpy look she ignored. "Welcome to the guild, I am Luna. How can I help you?"

"I wish to register as an adventurer." The woman studied her for a second before giving her a sad smile.

"I'm sorry, you have to be at least 13 years old to apply for the guild, wait for 2 more years and-!" Okay no! She was clearly mocking her, Rose was short, had no noticeable boobs or curves BUT SHE WASN'T SO BAD SHE LOOKED LIKE SHE WAS 11 DAMMIT!

"I'M SEVENTEEN!" Shouted Rose, as she glared at Luna.

"...EH?! Please don't lie. We WILL see your age on your adventurers card and there will be a hefty fine for illegally entering!" Rose eye started to twitch. URGH.

"Let! Me! Join! Here's the money!" She placed a small pouch with money onto the counter. Luna just…sighed and brought out what looked like a crystal ball.

"Wary well, but don't cry if your parents will be furious at you for the fine."

"My parents wont be mad cause they're dead" Luna…had the decency to flinch and look apologetic.

"I-I'm sorry, just…put your hands on this device please." She pointer at the weird crystal ball-like device. Rose did as she was told and soon a card was printed out. Luna grabbed it and looked at it.

"And here as I told you it….it says 17….." She looked at the card, back to Rose, the card, Rose, card, Rose. As her face grew more disbelieving, more tick marks appeared on Rose's head and the urge to turn the woman into a frog grew.

"H-how? But?...I-I am DEEPLY sorry Miss!" She bowed and put her hands together. "I genuinely thought, argh so sorry this is already the second time this happened to me! A-as an apology, I'll give you a small discount and there won't be a need to report this, will there?" Rose sighed...darn her bleeding heart.

"Its..fine, but maybe stop judging people for their appearance …it's not my bloody fault certain people get all the luck." She angrily stared at Luna's chest who in turn smiled nervously.

"O-Okay let's take a look at your class card…..hmmm your strength, health and dexterity are rather poor…surprisingly high agility but pretty bad luck. Your Magical Power is extraordinary though ...with this pretty much all the Magic Classes, besides the Magicknight are at your disposal!" Rose had a few issues following but she did get the gist of it.

"How can I see all my classes?" Luna taped a field on the crystal ball and a list appeared.

"There is an Arch priest, Wizard, Sorcerer, Necromancer…eh?" She blinked. She blinked again when without hesitation Rose hit Necromancer.

"Okay is that all?" The entire guild hall had peaked up when Luna said Necromancer and now it was so silent one could hear a needle fall to the ground. "(...I think I just did something bad)"

"...EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE SHE'S A NECROMANCER?!" Many just outright bolted out of the guild, others drew their swords or hid under a table.

"...Great Social ostracization here we meet again, sigh…it's sad how used to this I am. Is that all?" Luna just nervously nodded, finished up and handed Rose her card.

"Q-quests are o-on the board over there!" Rose thanked her, although she wasn't really in the mood for any quests. She just wanted to sit down and eat something but…looking around she better find a secluded spot. That's when someone waved at her.

"Over here madame Necromancer you can sit with me" Rose looked at the man who spoke. He was around her age, with...ridiculously long brown hair. Hesitantly she stepped closer but didn't sit down. He looked up to her, he wore a pair of half moon glasses and his nose was a bit squished, as if it was broken before. But what weirded her out was his eyes. They where a wary vibrant blue, and it felt like she was being…..X-Rayed…..wait a moment. Rose took a double take. Broke nose, half moon glasses, blue eyes, long hair. Slowly her eyes widened. "PROFESSOR DUMBELDORE?!"
