Appearance: Akira is a handsome young man with inky black hair that stretches passed his shoulders, which he keeps in a low ponytail and violet eyes. Appearance-wise, he looks like a male version of his younger twin sister, Akeno. His most distinguishing feature is a long, diagonal scar on his face that starts from his forehead above his left eye, passes between his eyes, and ends at his right cheek. His body bears other scars, both from his time in training as an assassin and some he got while on the job. When he's physically or psychologically torturing someone or even thinks about ways to do so, he's known to adopt a toothy, wicked, and twisted grin on his face which many people find to be 'very creepy'.

Akira mainly wears an all black 3/4-length leather coat with a hood over a black graphic shirt, black pants and black boots. He wears a black belt with a silver belt buckle with the Grim Reaper wielding a scythe in front of a red background and the words 'Memento Mori' etched onto the side of the scythe. Around his neck is a slightly tattered black bandanna with a skeleton's lower jaw design he wears over his face when on the job to conceal his identity as well as for intimidating his enemies. He also wears a silver ring with a large vermillion gem on his right ring finger, a trophy he took when he killed Suou Himejima.

Personality: As a child, Akira was a happy, carefree, and cheerful child. He loved and cherished his little sister greatly and she him. Despite the spats they would get into as siblings normally do, Akira and Akeno were very close as children, practically inseparable. Akeno was very and especially attached to her big brother, so much so that even being separated from him for even an hour was enough to cause her anxiety. They did everything together, from playing together to taking naps with each other, and even bathed together. Like Akeno, he was also very close to his mother since their father was always away on missions. Despite this, Akira still loved his father, who would play with him often when he was home as well as train him in using light weapons as well as using lightning.

When Akira grew into adolescence, having been all alone for years, training with Castiel, and witnessing the cruel reality of the world, he became callous, cynical, and aloof. He believes that you can't trust or rely on anyone, least of all one's family, believing that they only care about themselves. Unlike his sister, he fully embraces his Fallen Angel heritage and he coldly denounces Akeno for rejecting hers. During missions, Akira is a cold, precise, and calculating killer, always surveying his targets and their surroundings to make the most efficient kill. He has absolutely no qualms about killing people who get in his way no matter who they are or who they affiliate with and feels no remorse for his actions. In fact, the first time he killed someone, he said he felt 'amazingly calm', showing he has psychopathic tendencies. His favored method of torture is to use his lightning magic to inflict pain on his victims, be they human, Devil, Fallen Angel, whatever.

Most of the time, Akira is a calm and confident individual, showing almost no hint of fear or hesitation in any situation he's in. That is of course unless someone angers him, either by provoking him or getting in-between him and his objective. Anyone unlucky enough to incur his wrath either end up dead or their bodies broken beyond repair. Akira is also shown to be extremely cruel and sadistic, completely lacking any empathy for anyone: man or woman, not even children are spared from his cruelty. Evidence of this is when he encountered three young boys in a park who were throwing rocks at a cat. After freeing the cat, he berated the boys and turned to walk away. That's when the boys threw rocks at him in retaliation, which phased through him thanks to his Sacred Gear. Angered by this, he decided the boys needed an 'attitude adjustment'. When the boys tried to run, Akira caught up to them and violently electrocuted the three of them. When he was done, the boys suffered irreparable brain damage and were left in vegetative states. If that wasn't enough for him, when the mother of one of the boys came looking for her son, Akira stuck around just to hear her scream at seeing her child in such a state, at which point he chuckled heartlessly before walking away. Akira is also shown to have a vulgar and perverted side as well, as he is known to have very violent and sadistic sexual fantasies, some of them involving Akeno. He dreams of torturing her and causing her great and terrible pain to the point of breaking her physically and mentally and that he has plans to turn her into 'his own personal f**k doll'.

Further evidence of his sadism is shown when he kidnapped Suou instead of killing him right away and taking him to a nearby cliff near his home. Afterwards, Akira forced Suou watch as he completely destroyed the Himejima family temple and killing everyone in it using his Holy Lightning, just to hear him beg to spare his family and to see the look on his face when he did it before finally killing the Himejima family head, showing that he gets a rise from causing not only severe physical pain, but emotional/psychological pain as well. He also obsessively stalked Akeno everywhere she went; at her school, at her home, at her club, when she shopped, even during her Devil summon requests. At one point, he waited outside her school with his face fully revealed and then disappearing in the next instant to torment her and make her think she was seeing a ghost. Akira is very patient, having waited and trained for years before he finally took his revenge on Suou. He is known to cackle like a madman when he tortures his victims. People who witness his laugh, whether they be his victims or spectators, often wonder if this is him showcasing his sadistic nature or if he truly has fallen into madness.

As far as his own family goes, Akira deeply resents Akeno, not only for forsaking her heritage and becoming a Devil, but also because he believes that she just flat out abandoned him and didn't even try to look for him after she pushed him off the cliff that night, believing that she didn't even care about him and was glad when she thought he was dead. While not wanting to kill her yet, he says he will never forgive her for as long as he lives and hopes one day to see her suffer the same way he did. His father on the other hand, Akira despises Baraqiel with every fiber of his being. He believes his father to be a coward for not doing something to avenge the death of his mother as well as for not stopping his sister from becoming a Devil. Akira hates his father so much, that if he were given the order to kill him by anyone who wanted him dead, Akira wouldn't hesitate to accept the contract, going so far as to say that they would 'barely need to ask him to' and that he would even do it for free.

History: Akira, along with his younger twin sister Akeno, are the children of Shuri Himejima, a Shinto priestess and Baraqiel, a high tier Fallen Angel and one of the leaders of the Fallen Angel organization, Grigori. Akira was born 21 minutes before his sister. For a time, Akira lived a happy and peaceful life his parents and sister. But their happiness was not to last. The head of the Himejima family as well as Shuri's uncle, Suou Himejima, believed that Baraqiel somehow brainwashed his niece and forced her to bear his children. So one night, while Baraqiel was away on a mission, he sent men to kill Akira and Akeno and to either bring Shuri back to the clan or kill her if she refused. Shuri instead gave her life that night to protect her children. Baraqiel arrived shortly after and disposed of most of the attackers. But by then it was too late, his beloved wife was already gone.

After Shuri was killed, Akeno was hysterical, blaming her father for their mother's death because he was a Fallen Angel. When Akira and Baraqiel tried to console her, Akeno believed that Akira was siding with their father, at which point she declared that she hated everything; Fallen Angels, her father, and even her brother, and ran off into the forest surrounding their home. Akira ran out to try and catch her. He eventually found her near the cliffs where they both would go to get away from each other when they got on each other's nerves. Akira tried to console his sister, but she was still hysterical after losing their mother. Akira tried to hug her to try and calm her down, but Akeno pushed him away and in the process accidently sent him over the cliff and into the chasm below.

Akira would have died when he hit the bottom of the ravine, but he miraculously survived when he unconsciously activated his sacred gear, Night Reflection. Eventually, he found a way out of the chasm and returned to his home. When he got there, his mother's body was gone as was his father and sister. Deducing that Akeno had ran off after pushing him, he decided to search for his sister. He took a picture of him and Akeno before leaving and ventured off into the unknown. He spent the next couple years going from town to town searching for his sister thinking she was still somewhere in Himejima territory. Because he had no money, he lived among and blended in with the homeless population in the various towns he stayed in. While living with them, they taught him various ways on how to survive on the streets, from scavenging to lying low to avoid detection.

While he was out scavenging one day, he was found again by the same people who killed his mother and managed to survive being killed by Baraqiel. They ambushed Akira when he was returning to the tunnels where he slept. He surely would have died by their hand, but was rescued by Castiel, a former Fallen Angel of the Grigori and formerly an underling of his father Baraqiel, now a freelance criminal enforcer/hitman. After hearing Akira's story, Castiel took pity on the young Himejima and took him under his wing.

Believing that he may have found a way to find his sister, he asked Castiel for help in finding her. With the help of some of Castiel's contacts, he eventually found her, learning that not only was she alive, but she had become a Devil under Rias Gremory. On top of that, she looked to be living a happy, carefree life after becoming a Devil. Akira came to believe that she was happy he was gone, which wounded his heart greatly. Even more so when he overheard her saying that she completely forsook her heritage, saying she no longer considers herself part Fallen Angel. In Akira's mind, he believed that Akeno forsaking her heritage also meant she forsook him too and didn't love him anymore. After that, whatever love he had for his sister was replaced with deep seated resentment. He also learned that Suou Himejima, the man who had ordered him and Akeno to be killed and had his mother killed instead, was still alive, he was even further angered. He thought for sure that his father had done something about him long before now, but was mistaken. After that, any love for his father was replaced by hatred, going so far as to call him a coward and saying he was dead to him. From there, Akira swore revenge on everyone who wronged him, including his father and sister.

Not long after he was found by Castiel, he got his first taste of murder after he came face to face with two of the men who tried to kill him. They were taken prisoner by Castiel the day he rescued Akira and kept alive to extract information. Shortly after, he gave Akira the opportunity to kill them, which he did so without hesitation. Amazingly, he didn't feel any guilt or remorse when he took their lives like many other people would. In fact, he felt, in his words, 'amazingly calm.'

Castiel was astounded by this and decided to test a theory he had about the boy. Castiel tracked down two members of the Himejima Clan and had Akira kill them in their sleep. Akira did so, and like before, he didn't feel anything from taking their lives despite them even being family. That's when Castiel saw potential in Akira for being an enforcer/assassin for hire. From then on, Castiel began to train Akira in everything from combat, lightning magic, torture, psychological warfare, assassination, even sword and knife skills. He also helped Akira in mastering his sacred gear. Castiel also began taking Akira on jobs, training him to be an effective hitman. And not wanting him to be uneducated, Castiel also schooled Akira in all things one would learn in school; History, Language, Mathematics, etc. He even taught him how to fly when his wings began to grow.

By 16, despite his young age, Akira had gained a reputation as one of the best, efficient, and most ruthless enforcers in the criminal underworld with a talent in torture and wetwork. He was known to be willing to take on any job, the dirtier the better, provided the price was right of course. His clientele is known to be comprised of corrupt politicians, government officials, Black Ops mercenary groups, Chinese Triad gangs, drug cartels, Mob families, the occasional warlord and even white collar CEOs. He has carried out more than six dozen high profile assassinations over the course of nearly a decade. He also gained three more sets of wings in the allotted time.

At 18, After waiting for nearly a decade, Akira finally got his revenge by killing Suou Himejima, but not before also destroying the entire Himejima family temple and everyone else in it in one fell swoop. His revenge against Suou complete, he turned his attention towards his sister.

Powers and Abilities:

Holy Power: As the son of Baraqiel, a Fallen Angel Cadre, Akira has the ability to utilize holy power due to his Fallen Angel heritage. He can combine it with his lightning magic to create Holy Lightning.

Holy Lightning: Akira's specialty. Having been taught by his father and later Castiel, Akira can combine his holy power and lightning magic together to create Holy Lightning to aid him in battle. Akira can make his lightning more powerful by cutting his hand and mixing his blood with his lightning. By using his blood as a catalyst, his lighting gains much greater attack power and becomes faster as well. It becomes so powerful, one attack is powerful enough to completely vaporize anyone or anything it strikes. It was capable of destroying the entire Himejima Family temple in one strike, leaving nothing a crater in it's wake.

Light-Based Weapons: Being part Fallen Angel, Akira is capable of creating weapons made from light. He specializes in making swords and knives, which are dark red in color.

Master Swordsman: Akira is well versed in using bladed weapons, ranging from knives to swords. Whether they are real or made from light, Akira wields bladed weapons with deadly and ruthless efficiency. Castiel taught Akira how to use blades with near surgical precision so that on top of killing quickly, Akira can cause his enemies/opponents/victims tremendous pain without killing them.

Teleportation Magic: Akira has demonstrated the ability to teleport himself and others.

Stealth Master: Being trained as an assassin, Akira is very well versed in masking his presence from his enemies as well as sneaking into fortified locations without setting off alarms and eliminating high value targets without anyone ever knowing he was there.

Torture Specialist: Having been trained by Castiel, Akira has an in-depth knowledge in the use of torture, ranging from using blades, tools, magic, or even his own fists. He is capable of inflicting the maximum amount of pain and agony on a victim while keeping them alive as long as possible. He is also well versed in using psychological warfare to more effectively torture stronger targets. His favored form of torture as well as execution is binding his victims to a chair and zapping them with his Holy Lightning, giving off the appearance that they are strapped to an electric chair, hence one of his nicknames 'Ol' Sparky'. Akira favors this method because of the efficiency and intense pain it causes his victims, especially those of the Devil variety. He also uses his Sacred Gear to torture his victims using the shadows, mainly blanketing them in darkness to break their spirits.

Flight: Akira is capable of flight using his eight fallen angel wings.

Equipment:

Night Reflection: A Sacred Gear that grants Akira the ability to manipulate and control shadows. These shadows are capable of absorbing attacks and redirect them in whatever direction he wishes from any shadow, so long as said shadows are within the Sacred Gear's area of influence. It is also capable of entangling enemies and tying them down and restricting their movement using shadows, which is what Akira mainly uses it for when he binds and ties up his victims to torture them. Aside from it's offensive and defensive capabilities, he also uses it to meld into nearby shadows to hide from his enemies as well as hide corpses from being discovered. Akira can also use his Sacred Gear to cloak his torture victims in shadows, causing them complete sense deprivation; no light, no sound. Doing this is effective in breaking their wills quickly.

- Balance Breaker: Unlocked but Not Revealed Yet

*Shadow Mist Form

- Akira can morph his body into a shadow-like mist. While in this form, he can slip through even the tiniest crack and even sneak though air vents, making him capable of breaking into heavily fortified positions with relative ease. The one drawback is that he can't phase through solid matter like a ghost. He needs to have an opening in order to sneak in, no matter how small.

Musical Pocket Watch: Akira keeps a gold musical pocket watch with silver inlays on his person. The watch is one of a pair of them, the other is silver with gold inlays and in Akeno's possession. Baraqiel gave the two pocket watches to his children on their birthday. When Akira winds the watch and opens it, it plays the final portion of As Time Goes By.

Prologue

Deep in the mountainous region of Japan stood a very large, traditional Japanese Shinto temple complete with a tall tower, koi ponds and a sand garden. The full moon was out and provided a little bit of light over the grounds. Guards patrolled the perimeter with lanterns. High in the main building sat an elderly man wearing a robe. He was reading documents in the candle light. This man was Suou Himejima, current head of the Himejima Family, one of the Five Great Families. While he lie awake, the other members of his family were all asleep in either the main building or one of the other buildings inside the compound.

Unbeknownst to Suou, the other Himejimas, or the guards, someone was watching them. On a cliff overlooking the temple, a young man in his late teens looked down on the temple. He was a rather handsome young man with a slightly muscular physique, shoulder length black hair, which was in a low braided ponytail and violet eyes. He also had a diagonal scar that went from his forehead to his right cheek. He wore an all black 3/4-length leather coat with a hood, black pants and black combat boots. He also wore a belt with a silver belt buckle with a red background and the grim reaper in the background wielding a scythe on it and the words 'Memento Mori' etched onto the scythe. He wore a black bandanna that looked to be tattered and had a skull's lower jaw design wrapped around his neck.

This young man was Akira Himejima, a freelance hitman. He looked at the compound, an analytic frown on his face. He was surveying the compound so he can sneak in and assassinate his target, his target being Souo Himejima himself. Only he wasn't here because someone paid him or ordered him to kill Suou. No, for Akira, this was personal. Suou Himejima was the man who was instrumental in killing his mother and nearly killed him and his sister almost a decade earlier. As he would put it, Souo Himejima was the bastard who ruined his life before it could really begin.

He was ready to strike but before he did, he reached into his coat pocket and pulled out a gold pocket watch with silver inlays. He turned a key on the back and pressed the button on the top of the watch to open it. When it did, it began to play music, specifically the final portion of As Time Goes By.

"Suou Himejima." He said out loud, venom dripped into every word. "I've waited for this moment for nearly 10 years. You destroyed my family all those years ago and now tonight, I'm gonna return the favor...in spades." At this point, the music from the watch had ended, so he closed the watch and put it back in his pocket. He reached for his bandanna and pulled it over his face and put his hood over his head. He brought out his eight Fallen Angel wings and took to the sky. He landed inside the compound near the wall of the main building. Once on the ground, he leaned against the wall and peeked around the corner. He saw a guard walking towards him and was close. The guard pointed his lantern and barely caught a glimpse of Akira, who quickly got out of sight.

"Hey, who's there?" He barked as he put his free hand on the sword on his hip and started slowly walking towards the spot. Akira activated his sacred gear and hid himself in the darkness. The guard drew his sword and quickly turned the corner. He aimed his lantern at the spot where he believed he saw Akira, but there was nothing. He looked to his right and again saw nothing, flabbergasting him. He was sure he saw someone. He turned his back to the wall, at which point Akira came out of the darkness and stood closely behind the guard.

The guard put his sword back in the scabbard and pinched his nose. "Yeesh, maybe I really am going crazy." He said out loud.

"I wouldn't be too sure about that." The guard widened his eyes at the voice, but before he could react, Akira put his right hand over his mouth to keep him from screaming and his left hand behind his head.

CRACK

In one swift movement, Akira quickly moved the guards neck to the right, effectively snapping it and killing him instantly. Akira let go of the guard and he fell to the ground with a thud. Not wanting to take chances of someone finding the body and raising an alarm, Akira picked up the dead guard and propped him up against the wall. Using his sacred gear, Akira managed to sink the body into the darkness, effectively hiding it. With the guard disposed of, Akira continued to the front of the main building.

Peeking around the corner, he saw that there were no guards at or near the entrance. Akira thought either Suou was confident he didn't need any guards at the door, or he was just an arrogant ass. Either way, Akira took this opportunity. He headed for the door and slid it open slightly. He activated his sacred gear again and became a shadow-like mist to slip through the crack. He solidified once he was inside and slid the door shut. Looking around, he saw some stairs and quietly made his way towards them.

Quickly and quietly, Akira ascended up the structure while avoiding any guards he came across, and headed for the top of the building, knowing that Suou's chambers would be at the top. After reaching the top of the final flight of stairs, Akira peeked to see the area ahead and saw a light. A guard had turned the corner and was now walking towards him. Akira headed for a corner and used his sacred gear again and melded into the darkness, just like he did with the last guard. Since the guard hadn't seen Akira yet, Akira saw no sense in killing him. Not now anyway, since he had plans for everyone in the compound. He waited for the guard to pass him, completely unaware of the presence of the hidden assassin in the shadows.

Once he had descended the stairs, Akira came out of the shadows and proceeded further down the corridor. He finally came to a stop at another sliding door, where the light was on in the room. If his memory served him right, he was standing outside Suou's room. The door was slightly ajar, so he turned into a mist again to sneak in. He took cover behind a pillar and peeked out the side. Inside, he saw his target and one of the objects of all his hate and anger, Suou Himejima. The bastard who destroyed his family and ruined his life before it barely even started.

He saw Suou reading documents at his desk, completely oblivious to his presence. Akira narrowed his eyes and stared at him hatefully. "Hello you son of a bitch." Akira quietly said. He focused his sacred gear and used it to extinguish the candles in his room. Suou was startled, he grabbed his katana that was at the side of his desk and took a combative stance as he drew it from it's scabbard. Akira used this moment to once again slip into the shadows.

"Who's there?!" Suou asked defensively, but got no response. His eyes adjusted to the darkness as he looked around his room trying to find the intruder. "Come out! Show yourself!" Once again, nothing. He looked around the entire room, nothing but darkness shrouded the room. He calmed down and put away his sword. He turned around to head back to his desk when suddenly...

"Boo."

BAM

Akira had materialized right behind Suou without making a noise and punched him straight in his face before Suou could even react. With that one punch, Suou's world started to spin as he fell to the floor. Slipping into unconsciousness, he barely made out a figure before everything went black. Akira leered down on the unconscious old man, a sadistic grin plastered on his face.

Later

Suou was now lying against a tree, still unconscious from whatever or whomever it was that knocked him out in the first place. Suddenly, someone threw water into his face, waking him up a bit, but not enough. He then got backhanded to his face, waking him up further.

"Hey, come on. Wake up old man." A voice called out. "Wakey, wakey." The old man groaned in pain as he tried to adjust his sight, which was still blurred from getting hit earlier. After some adjusting, his vision became clear and he saw a figure in black standing in front of him. "Good morning." Akira said in a singsong voice.

Suou tried to jump towards him in an effort to attack him, but he didn't even move an inch towards Akira, confusing the Himejima head. He looked down and realized he was bound to the tree with what looked to be restraints made from shadows, shocking him. He looked back to his captor, a hateful glare on his face. Akira just ate up the expression.

"Hehe, hey there old man. Glad you're awake, wouldn't want you to miss the show."

"What is this?! Who are you?!" Suou angrily asked. Akira just smirked beneath his mask and remained silent. "ANSWER ME, DAMMIT!" His answer came in the form of a fist straight to his face.

"You are in no position to be making demands of me, old man." Akira bluntly responded. He kneeled down to eye level with Suou. "But I will show you something." Akira proceeded to bring his Fallen Angel wings, shocking Suou, but his shock was soon was replaced by a feeling anger and disgust.

"A Fallen Angel!" Suou spat. "What do you want here fallen filth?"

"You had a member of your own family murdered when you tried to kill her kids. Tell me, did you really think that wasn't gonna come back to bite you in the ass one day?" Akira sarcastically retorted.

Suou simply scoffed at the comment. "If you're referring to Shuri, she died because she broke our most sacred laws and because of her own weakness. She would still be alive if that crow hadn't brainwashed her and infected her with his seeds." Akira nearly lost his composure and was about to slug Suou, but he took a deep breath and calmed down. He stood back up, looking down on him.

"Those seeds have names you know."

"Oh, I know they have names. They're not just worth remembering. Their filthy, polluted blood had no place in the Himejima clan, let alone in this world."

"And yet Shuri's daughter still lives."

"That's because we made a deal with the heiress of the Gremory Devil Family that-."

"A deal?" Akira interrupted. "Oh, you mean the one where she would be allowed to live if she became the Gremory heiress' dog and serve her faithfully on top of that she never set foot in Himejima territory ever again. Tell me you old fart, where was that kind of mercy the night Shuri died?"

Suou scoffed at the question. "What does it matter? What's in the past is done. Now, if you believe that you will get away with this, you are a fool!"

"The only fool here is you Suou." Akira hatefully said, earning a glare from the Himejima head. "'Broke your sacred laws' my ass, you're just a bigoted old codger. Plain and simple. And for the record, Baraqiel didn't brainwash Shuri or any other bullshit you think happened. Shuri fell in love with a Fallen Angel and willingly had his children. You just didn't like that and that's when you decided that they had to go."

"You know nothing Fallen filth."

"I know this much, you wanted those kids dead and wanted Shuri to come back to the temple but you didn't have the balls to kill them and try and bring her back yourself. So you sent some dickless shit-sacks who had a grudge against Baraqiel to do your dirty work. That shows that not only are you a bigot, you're a coward." Akira continued, earning a glare from Suou. "You know, I did a little digging and I also learned that you banished even you're own older sister from the clan because she practiced and used Buddhist magic. Tell me, are you so blinded by your family's tradition and rules that you disown and throw away even your own family members when they don't get with the program?"

"You know nothing of the Himejima clan. We are a proud clan of mystics blessed by the Shinto Gods themselves. We have served them for countless generations. It is our duty to purify evil creatures and to protect the humans from their influence, but we must do so in accordance with their teachings. Those who never received their blessing or cannot abide by our traditions and rules have no place in our family." Suou explained, which only angered Akira. "And in any event, why does it even matter to you, filth? What does Shuri even mean to you?" Suou asked.

Finally, Akira decided to reveal who he was. He put his hood down, exposing his purple eyes and slowly pulled down his bandanna. Suou paled and gained a shocked expression at the face he was looking at. He was looking a a male version of his deceased niece.

"Everything. She meant everything to me Suou." Akira replied with venom in his voice.

"I-i-it can't be. Y-y-y-you're-" Suou choked.

Akira ate up the expression on Suou's face, enjoying the reaction while he chuckled sadistically. "What's the matter Suou? You look as if you've seen a ghost." The hybrid mocked.

"Baraqiel's other brat. You live! B-b-but it's impossible! I-I-I thought-"

"I was dead? You thought wrong." Akira interrupted, Suou just continued to stare in disbelief, but eventually regained his composure and glared at Akira.

"So, have you come for revenge then? Ia that what this is about? " Suou inquired. "Revenge for your mother? For your sister? Did your damned Fallen father put you up to this?"

Akira knelt down and shook his head. "Baraqiel means nothing to me and he has nothing to do with this. He could have done something about your wrinkly old ass years ago when you had his wife, my mother, murdered, but he didn't." He explained. "He's the type who believes revenge solves nothing and would rather let the circle of violence end. That may work for him, but not for me. All this...this is all for me, and me alone. Also, this isn't just about vengeance or getting some kind of closure. This is about making you know and feel what it's like to lose what's precious to you." Akira held out his hand and clenched it into a fist for emphasis. "And sit by and watch helplessly as I take it all away from you." That last statement greatly unsettled Suou.

"What do you mean by that?" Suou asked. "What are you going to do?" Akira smiled sadistically accompanied by a chuckle, further unsettling Suou.

"You're about to find out old man." Akira replied as he stood back up and backed up towards the edge of the cliff. "Right about now." He created a knife out of light and cut his right palm, wincing slightly. Once blood could be seen coming from the wound, he spun around dramatically and faced the direction of the Himejima castle. Yellow lightning started to dance around his arm and hand. When the lightning came into contact with his blood, the lightning turned dark red. He held his right hand high in air and concentrated. The roar of thunder and lightning could be heard in the air. Suddenly, a large magic circle appeared above the castle. Lightning could be seen emanating from the circle. The guards and many other members of the clan started coming out of the buildings to see what was going on.

"What are you doing?!" He asked frantically. Akira looked behind him but said nothing, his smile now looking more maniacal accompanied by a chuckle coming from his throat. Suou looked in horror as he knew what Akira was about to do. "Stop, NO! NOOO! THERE ARE INNOCENT WOMEN AND CHILDREN THERE!" He shouted as he tried to break free from his restraints, but to no avail.

"My mother was innocent. My sister and I were innocent. Yet you had no qualms about ordering our deaths and letting our mother die for it. Why should I care about them down there?" Akira rhetorically asked. "Enjoy the show Suou, I guarantee you it's gonna be a doozy."

"NO! NO! NO, PLEASE!" Suou pleaded with tears in his eyes. His plea fell on deaf ears as Akira turned back to the temple and brought down his hand.

CRACK

A very large, powerful, dark red lightning bolt shot from the magic circle and struck the center of the compound, resulting in a massive explosion. The screams of agony from every man, woman, and child could be heard from the compound and they reached Suou's ears. Suou could do nothing but sit and watch helplessly as everything played out, looking on in shock and horror. When all was said and done, the bolt had completely obliterated the entire compound, leaving nothing but a crater where it stood. Akira chuckled heartlessly, which soon erupted into full on cackling at the destruction he had wrought. His smile never left his face once he was done.

"Wooo, mercy, that felt good." Akira voiced in satisfaction as he ran his hands through his hair.

"You monster!" Suou blurted out in a low tone. Akira turned back to him.

"I'm sorry, what? What was that?" Akira put a hand to his ear to try and hear him better. Suou just gritted his teeth and growled angrily.

"I SAID YOU MONSTER! YOU BASTARD FALLEN SPAWN!" Suou shouted as he continued to struggle to break free from his restraints. "HOW COULD YOU?! THERE WERE WOMEN AND CHILDREN, AND YOU MURDERED ALL OF THEM!"

Akira simply shrugged like it was nothing. "You'd think I'd feel bad, but I don't." He replied bluntly. "And as for being a monster, well you partially have yourself to thank for that. But you know what? Why should I apologize for being a monster? Has the world ever apologized to me for turning me into one?"

"You bastard hell spawn! YOU'RE GOING TO BURN FOR THIS! I WILL KILL YOU AND DRAG YOU TO HELL MYSELF!"

Akira simply laughed in a sadistic tone, treating his threat as nothing but a joke. He stopped in front of Suou. "Well you're right about one thing Suou. The horrible things I've done over the past few years, I've more than likely booked myself a one way ticket to hell. But then again, with what you've done, you're headed there yourself. But worry not," Lightning began dancing around Akira's arms and frame. "I'll make sure you got plenty of company for the ride down. Any last words?"

Suou calmed down and eyed hatefully at the Fallen Angel hybrid. "They say he who seeks revenge, remember to dig two graves. One for his enemy and one for himself."

"A quote from a fortune cookie. Fuckin' really?" Akira simply chucked at the old man's last words. "Well...I guess mine's gonna have to wait. Cuz this...this is only the beginning." Akira then violently grabbed Suou's head by it's sides and pumped electricity into his head.

"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!" Suou cried in pain as he felt the lightning surge through his head. After almost five seconds, his head finally exploded, blood and brain matter flying everywhere, even landing on Akira's clothes. Akira undid the restraints on Suou's wrists and his body fell to the ground.

Akira took a few deep breathes as he tried to compose himself. "Enjoy hell you bigoted old fuck." He said, a sadistic smirk present on his face once again. Akira looked Suou's right hand and noticed a ring on the right ring finger and it caught his interest. He grasped the corpse's right hand to get a better look at the ring. It was a silver ring with a large vermillion gem. "Ooh. Nice ring. Definitely a nice little trophy. Next to his sword of course." Akira said in awe, admiring the ring. Looking to add insult to injury, Akira slid the ring off the finger and slid it onto his. It was a perfect fit.

Akira dragged the corpse by the wrist to the edge of the cliff. Once he got the body near the edge, he shoved it over with his foot. The body fell straight down the cliff, hitting portions of the cliff before finally coming to rest at the base of the cliff. Akira looked at the corpse with an satisficed expression. For nearly 10 years, he waited for this moment, and it felt oh so satisfying.

He reached into his coat and pulled out a picture. The picture was of a couple girls, one with long red hair and one with long black hair and wearing what looked like the same school uniforms. Both were smiling and looked to be talking about something. Akira focused his attention on the one with the black hair.

The girl was a beautiful young woman with a voluptuous figure, very long black hair and violet eyes, just like he did. Her hair was tied in a long ponytail, reaching all the way down to her legs with two strands sticking out from the top and sloping backward, an orange ribbon kept the ponytail in place. She was practically a spitting image of Akira's mother, Shuri. Hell, if anyone knew any better, the girl was a female version of himself. Well that's because she basically was. This girl was Akira's younger twin sister, Akeno. The sister he had not spoken to in almost a decade.

"Oh Akeno." He said with discontent in his voice as he scowled intensely at the photo. "Forsaking your heritage, becoming a bat, and a dog for the Gremory heiress at that, that's one thing. But to think you were able to go on living such a peaceful life. Smiling and acting like not having a care in the world, after what you've done." He angrily grasped the photo, crumpling it. He took a deep breath and let it out, calming himself down.

"No matter." Akira voiced. Focusing his power, the picture caught fire. He then callously threw it on the ground. "You've been living in that ignorant little bubble of yours for long enough. It's high time I popped it." He finished as he started walking away. "But first, just a couple more chores."

Now that Suou Himejima was dead, he believed it was high time for a long overdue family reunion with his sister. But before that, he had a couple more personal matters to take care of. Before leaving, he took one last look at the crater that was once the Himejima family temple and gave one last satisfied hum. Concentrating, he brought forth a green teleportation circle and a second later, he was gone. Meanwhile. the picture Akira threw on the ground continued to burn, the flame consuming the picture until it reached Akeno's face before it too was consumed by the fire. After a few more seconds, the picture was reduced to ashes and scattered in the wind.

And finally done with the new story. I had the idea for this one in my head for a while and I wanted to get it out there for a while now but haven't gotten around to it. Inspiration for this story came from a story called Holy Lightning Twins by BrxkenArrow. If you haven't read it, please do, it is an awesome story, although it hasn't been updated in a while and I sincerely hope the author will update it soon as I am dying to see what comes next, especially the Three Factions Meeting. But anyway, let me know what you think and depending on if people like this story or not, I'll get more of it out there. Til the next chapter, this is TravyMcNavy184 signing off.
