The girl and boy knelt at the feet of a woman. The woman's face was hidden in shadows. "I have come bearing gifts," She said.

The children stayed quiet not in awe but fear and surprise. The goddess for that was what she was pulled a wand out of the air. "This wand is made from the branch of a poplar tree from the fields of asphodel and a phoenix feather core." She handed it to the stunned boy.

"And for the young witch," she took off her cloak and handed it to the girl who stared at the cloth in her hands. "My invisibility cloak, use it well." The clouds uncovered the moon and its light fell upon the goddess, as she vanished. The girl rises from the ground and helped the boy up. They silently walk in the direction of the barn where they would hide from the storm.

The girl ran her fingers through her chocolate brown hair picking out the hay, the boy in the next stall stirred. "Di, you awake?"

He sat up, "Why do you insist on calling me that?" He complained as he ran his hand over his raven black hair picking the hay out of it.

"Because I can," she replied continuing to take the hay out of her hair. The girl flicked her eyes over to the cloak that she'd hung on the pick on the wall before she had fallen asleep. "So di can you explain what in the world happened last night."

"I'm not sure myself." He replied

"It almost sounded like she was praising us." she said running her hands over her blue dress to straighten it.

Di nodded running his fingers over the wand he had received from the goddess.

"Well at least now we won't have to share wands when we practice our charms." She said picking up her oak wand and slipping it in her dress' pocket. "Want to see if we can find anything for breakfast?"

"Yes please, I'm starving."

She chuckled and grabbed the cloak off the hook, and put it over her shoulders and wrapped it around her body. "Magica, look down." Di said trying not to laugh; Magica did and found to her amusement that her body had disappeared. "I forgot about that!" She was holding back laughter now too. Di's eyes widened, and put his finger to his lips, Magica tilted her head the sound of footsteps was coming closer, Magica pulled Di closer to her. She flung the Cloak over both of them; just as the barn door opened. Hearts beating loudly, together they stepped out of the middle of the barn and into one of the empty stalls, ducking down into the shadows. A woman with long blonde hair, wearing overalls and muck boots, came into the barn. She looked around warily, before going to the back of the barn and led the cow to the milking station. Magica and di ran.
