It didn't take long for Tadashi and Thrall to reach the andoirans family home from the meeting place at the cafe. Ringing a door chime in the door opened and they were greeted by a short slender woman who quickly grinned and threw he arms around Tadashi. "ITS ABOUT TIME YOU VISIT!!" she exclaimed. "Hello to you to Peris" Thrall said folding his arms. "I've missed you to but I see your ugly face everyday when you call me. I don't get to see this handsome pink skinned cutie often" she said pinching at Tadashis cheek. "Not to mention he's warm and you're cold" she laughed and invited the two inside. "We can't stay long Peris we have a days trip to ds9 " thrall said with Peris walking over to the replicator she returned with three drink sitting them down. "Always so eager to leave do you hate our home that much?" She asked
"No but I like my job and the wacky adventures I get to have with my boyfriend" Thrall said. "And I heard it almost got you killed when you two thought it was a good idea to board a deserted ship lost in a nebula. You know I don't mind what you do but that doesn't stop me from worrying about you... The Galaxy is a big place Thrall... Everyday I wait for your call and wonder is today the day I'll get a call from someone else instead telling me you died".
She sighed taking a seat across from them picking up one of the cups and gently sipping at the liquid within. "You're all I have right now" she added "you and Tadashi... Sato to he's cute where is he anyways?" She asked
"He stayed with the ship.. he's going through some things right now " Tadashi said in a low tone shifting his gaze down. "And this is exactly why I worry about you two. He saw things no one should have to see." Peris spoke "no one should watch their friend die ..." Ankther sigh escaped her
"Promise me you'll watch out for each other?" She asked with both men nodding in agreement
On the Hayashi 2 Vanessa stood by the transporter controls as blue beams shined brightly on the padd giving way to Xall and his wife. The two stepping down. "Welcome aboard Xall I'm Vanessa the helmsman and Tadashis second in command" she spoke offering his hand. "Vanessa pleasure to see you again! It's been a while well I must say a decent looking transporter room" he said taking a look around. "Can I see the engine room? I'd like to get started familiarizing myself with ship systems as soon as possible for me to be the most use to our Captain" Vanessa had a blank expression on her face before pulling back together and answering. "Um of course and would you like me to show your wife to sickbay as well?" He asked
"That would be fine" Lylwat answered , "very well follow me this way. Engineering happens to be on this deck" Vanessa spoke gesturing for the two to follow. "Bridge is deck one. Crew quarters mess hall transporter one are deck two. Deck three is main cargobay basic matetiannce facilites and the sickbay as well a small science lab Deck three is engineering upper level cargobay two and shuttlebay one and two. Deck four where we are is engineering lower level, transporter room two and other various engineering facilities deck five in forward hull is phaser control and guest quarters.as well as nacelle control" she spoke as they walked the corrdiors
"Rather nice colour scheme I do enjoy the soft blues and Grey's of the corrdiors gives it a comforting feeling opposed to other federations starships choice of bland grey and white." Xall commented as they turned a corner and stepped through a wide door. The engine room was a modest sized room consisting of a small control room and the warpcore in the far aft of the room. The core consisted of a short horizontal piece followed by a long vertical piece running a long room
"Ah the infamous older style vertical warpcore marvelous! A Bolian frieghter I served on once had a vertical core." Xall commented walking towards the center. There was. A loud banging sound followed by clattering metal objects and a loud cursing as a young scrawny man exited out from a back room
"Uh hi?" He asked. "Zack meet Xall our new chief engineer" Vanessa said. "Xall this is Zack he was hired as a engineer as well". "A pleasure mr Zack" Xall said offering his hand but instead Zack gave a glare towards Vanessa. "Chief? I was under the impression I was chief engineer?" He asked. "well that was before Tadashi saw Xalls qualifications and no offense Zack he has decades of experience over you your only qualification was working as a technician on a deep space outpost " Vanessa said coldly
Xall breathed in then exhaled "I do sense tension here it was not my intention to step into this however my good friend is right Mr Zack but never fear I shall be happy to treat you as equal and you shall learn much from me " Xall said confidently "this is not a Federation ship rank and what not shall not stop us from what is most important which is earning money and keeping our Captain happy don't you agree?" Xall continued offering his hand once more
Zack hesitated but took it with a sigh. "Guess your right but still don't think I can just be bossed around ok? You do your thing I do mine and if we have to well work together just try not to get in my way". Zack then turned and walked off to resume what he was doing leaving the three alone. "Friendly young man isn't he? Oh well I've worked with more difficult individuals I can handle it. I think I'll look around Vanessa if you don't mind show lywat to your sickbay so she can get settled
"Of course this way Lylwat" Vanessa said the two leaving.
