I debated for so long on whether Blue and Cricket should be teachers at the school. However, I figured it would work better if they weren't for reasons that won't be evident for a while. Though I do headcanon that a few months after "Flames of Hope" Blue and Cricket do move to Pyrrhia and teach at the school.

"I always forget how big this place really is. I guess it has to be to fit so many dragons." Blue's whimsical voice broke Bumblebee away from the sight of so many dragons flying into the mountain. They looked perfect for a design that her aunt Luna would make. "I wish I could have gone here. I mean, the art room alone would be worth the math lessons." He looked down at Bumblebee with his large, caring eyes which had a questioning look in them. "Are you sure you got everything? The trip back is really long."

"Yes, I got everything." Bumblebee said, rather exhausted at being asked this question. Before Blue could get out what he was going to say, she interrupted him. "I got Aunt Luna's blanket, Sundew's snack basket, and my school supplies. I have EVERYthing I need! Mom quadruple checked everything anyway. I'm FINE ok?"

The Silkwing nodded in an attempt to reassure her he understood but he still had that questioning look that reminded her that he and Luna were definitely brother and sister. "Did you pack Mr. Sil-"

"BLUE!" Bumblebee hissed, her eyes darting up and around to make sure no dragonets were around. "We do NOT talk about THAT!" She tried to sound tough but just came out like a nervous puppy which only made her parents laugh. The last thing Bumblebee needed was ANYone learning she brought him. Her social career would be over before it even began.

Cricket nudged Blue's shoulder with her wing playfully as they flew closer to the mountain. "She brought all she needed. Let's let her be for a second. The first day is always a nightmare on the nerves."

"I am not nervous!" Bumblebee retorted, looking at the school's entrance with a face that could be considered nervous. "I'm ready to be on my own! So, you know…" How was she going to say this without sounding insensitive? "The trip back is long, right? So you guys may want to…" Their silence was killing her. They seemed intent on making her feel guilty! As they flew closer, she felt a bubble hover in her chest, ready to pop at any second. "I just don't want anyone to think I'm so nervous I need my parents! Is that like, a lot to ask?"

Blue and Cricket looked at eachother and Bumblebee's dad let out a snivel as Cricket hugged him. "S-she doesn't need us anymore! And now she wants us gone…when did we become an embarrassment, Cricket?" He asked in that frustrating way where Bumblebee didn't know if he was being serious or not.

The Hivewing shook her head, pretending to think while she gazed sadly at the dragonet. "I don't know Blue…it feels like just yesterday we made that dragonet carrier for her as we tried to avoid Queen Wasp. Now she doesn't want anything to do with us. Oh how time flies!" Cricket wasn't nearly as good at hiding her joke voice as Blue.

"Ok, ok! I get it. I'm sorry but I don't want anyone to see me with my parents! No one shows up with them unless they are super scared and I don't want to be seen as a who-"

She was quieted down by Cricket who put a wing around her shoulder and pulled Bumblebee into a tight hug. "We know, Bumblebee. We're just messing with you. We went to school as well, you know. If you think having your parents around is bad, imagine a sibling bothering you."

The dragonet raised an eyebrow up at her mother as they finally stopped flying to have their moment before breaking away. "You don't have a brother or sister."

"No, but I do and I can tell you she hated it when I bothered her during school hours." Blue said, joining in on the hug which gave Bumblebee a weird feeling of warmth that made her stomach shift. "But she also looks back fondly at those moments. Maybe you will too." He said with a snicker when Bumblebee shivered at the thought of walking in with Blue and Cricket. "Or maybe not."

The three clung together for a good while, embracing each other's company as the weight of the next few months was finally beginning to settle in for Bumblebee. No more trips to Sundew and Willow's, no more visits to her grandmas…no more fun stories with her uncle Swordtail, she was…really going to be a whole continent away from almost everyone she knew. She closed her eyes and tightened her grip around her parents and felt something fall down her left eye while her tail drooped. "I-I'm going to miss you guys…a-and everyone…I just…I know I'll be ok, ok?" she wanted to sound brave. She wanted to sound like her being away wasn't going to be an issue…but the more she was forced to think about it, the more she missed sitting on Swordtails lap and hearing Luna yell at him for telling a story she wasn't old enough to hear.

They finally broke apart and the two dragons smiled fondly at Bumblebee, memories swinging around their heads before Blue nodded one last time. "We know you will. Even though you don't remember, you've survived far worse than school. Just…please don't forget to write, ok? Just like, four times a week? Five if you're feeling generous or really miss us?"

"Blue, once a week is fine." Cricket said, turning her attention from her husband to her daughter. "We won't embarrass you on your entry day, but we will be here for visiting days. Don't think you'll be getting out of those. Ok missy?" She joked.

Bumblebee nodded, thinking she'd have enough time to build up a good enough reputation that her parents couldn't wreck. "Alright. I'll survive until then. Thank you…I-" She stopped herself then felt their wings surround her once more in a second 'final hug' attempt. "Hmm…I love you guys." She muttered, still feeling the tears fall down her cheeks. They pulled away for the last time and she wiped her eyes before looking back at the mountain. The sun had already set which made the entrance to the school the largest light source. "I'll uh…I'll see you two in a few months, ok?'

The both agreed and said their goodbyes, promising to write before seeing Bumblebee fly off towards the school. She looked back once to make sure they weren't following (And that they were still watching) before they became small dots in the darkness. She finished wiping away her tears as the full scale of the mountain came into view.

Alright, no more crying. You have to make a good first impression. THIS is your life now! No more parents, aunts, or uncles. No more Sundew and Willow. No more Pantala. You are Bumblebee, the coolest dragon this side of the world! Let's go!

I decided against having the first chapter start at the school. I also suck at writing goodbye's, lol.
