But long range is picking up something that could be it another light-year away" she said. "Ok well let's go take a look but remember only a day then we need to head back for the wormhole" Tadashi said firmly
"Yeah yeah don't wanna ruin your new business contract...I get it. Moving to the next sector engaging warp. Arrival in five minutes" she said.
"Deep space like this we've gone a bit further then most federation scouts they stopped when the war began.. but we are outside of dominion territory least for now " Thrall said. "Think they'd get pissy if we entered?" He asked. "They might politely ask us to leave but I doubt they'll get violent. Peace treaty still in place after all and they've been trading with us I think" Tadashi said. "Still I'd like to fight a jemhandar soldier I hear they're pretty strong" Thrall commented grinning and earning a groan from Tadashi "I swear I'm dating a repressed violent psychopath I hope you don't snap one day" Tadashi said
"If you two are done dropping out of warp and...sensors scanning..I...oh my god" she said eyes going wide as Tadashi turned back around. "What is it?" He asked "a Borg sphere dead ahead!" She replied. "RED ALERT SHEILDS UP!" Tadashi yelled as the bridge became basked in a deep red with alarms sounding all around. "Vanessa get us outta here before they see us now!" He continued. "R..right bringing us about" she answered "hey wait a minute Vanessa look at those readings" Thrall said looking at his console. "What ...oh..hey Tadashi I'm getting no energy readings from it... It's dead in space" she said panic from her voice slowly fading
"I don't care they could be playing dead or something get us away from it and send a priority message to Starfleet we found a Borg vessel" he said
"The Borg don't play dead babe if they want you they'll get you and give not two fucks in the process.. it dead I'm reading no power signatures no life signs nothing but metal" Thrall said. "This is a jackpot you know how much Borg tech goes for on the black market?" He said. "You also realize how fucking illegal it is to? The trade and selling of Borg technology is expressly forbidden among not only the federation but many of the alpha and beta quadrant powers and for good reason. It's dangerous it's unpredictable and it has a tendency to come back to life when you least expect it!" Tadashi exclaimed. "Well you're gonna hate this.. I found the frieghter she's inside the sphere docked within it's centerral hanger... It looks to be still intact" slowly she turned to Tadashi as Xall , Lylwat and Sato exited on the bridge Sato yawning "damn bro the alarms really need to be turned down what's the panic?" Sato asked
"Borg vessel" Tadashi said. "Onscreen Vanessa might as well see it" he grumbled as the view screen changed to show the floating orb of titanium before them. "Oooo never seen a Borg ship this close outstanding! Are we doing your little salvaging thing?" Xall asked
"Absolutely not! I already talked about federation law!" Tadashi hissed. "He forgot to add just a single Borg power node goes for 200 bars of latinum on the black market" thrall added. "C'mon Tadashi no one gotta know!. At least let's go aboard and look at the freighter see if we can get it out or least see if it was carrying anything valuable. Borg don't give a fuck about cargo or materialistic possessions just technology they likely left it all In it's cargobays". Tadashi looked around as everyone seemed in agreement with thrall
"You all seriously want to go over there? To a Borg ship. A BORG SHIP! Dead or not they have a tendency of coming back to life and fucking you over have none of you read the stories or the declassified reports Starfleet released into public? No? Fuck it fine! But I'm not going over there. NOPE!" Tadashi said throwing his hands up
"Oh stop being a pussy it's been a year since all that shit these aren't ghost this ain't a invisible life form it's Borg and they've been nerfed lately so I could probably take one out with a butter knife get together Tadashi you're the captain and if you plan on marrying me this year you're coming" thrall said standing up and literally throwing Tadashi over his shoulders the poor asian man turning red in embarrassment as he was carried toward the turbolift
"PUT ME DOWN NO I DONT WANT TO VE ASSIMILATED!" he yelled. "Fuck VANESSA KEEP PHASERS LOCKED ON THAT METAL BALL FIRE IF IT LIGHTS UP AT ALL!" Tadashi yelled as the doors closed.
