Summer wasn't sure if she was seeing things when she had first woken up early that morning, but she definitely wasn't expecting to see a small dark tortoiseshell molly jumping down from the ladder that lead up and into Dak and Leyla's bedroom. Out of pure panic and anxiety, she nudged the closest dragon awake with a paw. Aggro stirred and opened a sleepy eye. "Huh? Summer? What's wrong?" the fire dragon asked her while yawning and rubbing her eyes with her paws. The water dragon pointed her tail to where the dark tortoiseshell molly sat calmly watching the two dragons with her black-tipped, gold-and-brown-striped tabby tail curled neatly over her dark brown paws.

"W-What? Who-who are you?!" Aggro nearly shouted out in both shock and surprise. Her shout awoke the other dragons from their slumber. The cat who had been calmly watching them now stared at Aggro with slitted amber eyes and her dark fur was fluffed up. Her claws were unsheathed and she was hissing as she stared at the young fire fury.

"Aggro! What in StarClan's name was that for?!" A female voice screeched, the angry yowl sounding very familiar to Aggro

The small red dragon blinked and stared up into the female cats amber eyes witch were blazing with fury and a bit of fear at her sudden yell of fear and panic.

Aggro blinked and stared with suspicion at the dark-furred cat. "Wait one second, how do you know my name?" were the first words to leave her mouth once the shock and adrenaline had left her system.

"Ugh! By the stars above, are you really that mousebrained? What do you think, Aggro? Use your head!" the dark-furred molly meowed, a bit of sass, snark, and annoyance was lacing her tone as she continued glaring at the fire fury.

"Uhhh... how am I suppose to know the answer?" Aggro deadpanned, rolling her eyes and flicking her tail back and forth. The cat only sighed and dug her claws into the wooden floorboards with a frustrated hiss.

Aggro and the other dragons all continued to stare at the strange cat as she curled her tail over her back paws and narrowed her eyes in concentration. "I'll give you one clue, but that's it! You guys hear me?" she snapped. They all nodded and the other cat sighed and took a deep breath.

"I can understand and speak both dragon and the human language and I ride a water dragon," the dark-furred molly meowed, a confident smile forming on her face as she grinned cheekily at the dragon, who's eyes all went wide at the realization.

"L-Leyla?" Summer and Aggro spluttered, jumping backwards and staring with disbelief at their friend, who is somehow a cat. She only laughs and grins even wider at them.

"Bingo!" the dark tortoiseshell molly meowed, her tail swishing back and forth as she licked her paw. Summer and the others just blinked and stared at her with strange looks on their faces. This cat is really Leyla? But-But how? I don't understand this at all. Summer wondered as she continued to study the dark tortoiseshell molly sitting right in front of her.

"Oh, and Summer? My name's Dawnpaw, not Leyla," the dark-furred molly replied after she had finished grooming herself clean. Summer blinked and tilted her head in confusion at the strange name.

"Dawnpaw? Who name's their cat Dawnpaw?" Winger asked and Dawnpaw's fur bristled and her ears went flat on her head. "I'm a ThunderClan cat, I'm a six-moons-old apprentice and to answer your question, my mother named me, I used to be Dawnkit." Dawnpaw meowed, her tone sounding a bit hostile and defensive.

"What's ThunderClan?" Cutter asked the dark-furred molly. Dawnpaw hissed in frustration and dug her claws into the wooden floorboards again with a frustrated sigh.

"Oh, my StarClan, please help me!" Dawnpaw muttered under her breath as she stared up at the dark brown rafters of the sleep cave. Winger blinked in confusion. The ceiling isn't going to respond, and who or what is this StarClan? he wondered to himself as the small cat began to pace around in circles.

"I'm the only daughter of ThunderClan's medicine cat, Cinderpelt," Dawnpaw began, "my sisters are Duskpaw, Starlingpaw, Shadepaw, and Spartanpaw, I was scent here as a kit to fulfill the search destiny that StarClan had planned for me," Dawnpaw explained, her tail thrashing back and forth as she continued pacing around.

"Wait, wait, wait, what's going on? I'm really confused, what's ThunderClan? What's StarClan? And what's with the strange names?" Burple asked, firing off questions at the young molly, who paused and stared at him with a disbelieving look on her face.

"I don't have time to explain all of that to you," Dawnpaw meowed, it was clear to the dragons that this whole 'chosen for an important search destiny' thing was weighing heavily on Dawnpaw's mind. "I need to speak with Spottedleaf and find out what in the name of StarClan I'm supposed to do!" Dawnpaw snapped, narrowing her eyes and staring up at the rafters of the sleep cave with something that the dragons couldn't identify.

"Dawnpaw wait! Can we help you?" Winger asked her. The young molly sighed softly and shook her head. Winger opened his mouth to protest but Dawnpaw spoke up before any of them could say a word.

"I'm really sorry guys, but you can't come with me," she told them with a sad smile forming on her face. "I have to do this on my own. Just stay here and wait for me, I'll be fine, I promise. And beside, don't forget that I'm a ThunderClan medicine cat apprentice, I can take care of myself just fine," Dawnpaw meowed, smiling confidently as she looked up at them with determination shining in her amber eyes.

Summer was about to open her mouth to say something to change her mind, but one look from Aggro made the fastfin shut her mouth and she stared down at her feet instead.

"Leyla wait! How are you going to speak with this Spottedleaf cat? And what about Dak? Shouldn't you tell him about this as well?" Winger asked her with a puzzled look on his face. Once those words finally registered in her mind, Dawnpaw's eyes widened as big as saucers and she cursed under her breath.

"Fox dung! I'm so dead, Dak is going to flip if he finds out about this! What the heck am I gonna do?!" Dawnpaw yowled, her tail thrashing from side to side and her ears flattening against her head. She then began to pace around in circles as she glanced back at the dragons, who were watching her with worried looks on their faces. She was also muttering things under her breath and glancing around wildly as if she was expecting someone to jump out of nowhere and attack her.

The five dragons all watched with concerned eyes as Dawnpaw began muttering curses under her breath. None of them could make out what she was saying but it was strange to the dragons because they had never in their lives heard there friend curse. After a few more minutes of pacing, Dawnpaw stopped and raised her head to the sky, yowling something that none of the dragons could fully understand.

"Oh, my StarClan, please help me! What do I do? What do I do? What do I do?" Dawnpaw yowled as she stared up at the sky. She dug her claws into the floorboards nervously and her tail fluffed up in anxiety as she continued to pace.

"Dawnpaw, please calm down! You need to stop for a moment and take a deep breath," Summer said, her own tail flicking back and forth nervously as Dawnpaw slowly calmed down and stared up at her best friend with fearful amber eyes.

"I can't calm down, Sum, I have no idea what to do!" Dawnpaw meowed as she began needing her paws nervously into the ground again.

"But you need to calm down and take a deep breath, you're not thinking things through clearly and that's what's making you stress," Winger chimed in, looking over at Dawnpaw as he spoke.

Dawnpaw sighed and flattened her ears, then meowed quietly, "Ok ok I'm calm now, but what do I do? How am I going to explain this to Dak? Should I even tell him? Or should I let him figure it out on his own?" She mewed while staring up at Winger and the other dragons with fearful amber eyes.
