Hey guys and gals, welcome to my newest story that I showed a preview for in my one shot library, In another world as it's final hope.
You see, since I started writing I've wanted to do a crossover in another world with my smartphone since I didn't see anyone else try a crossover with it.
I've tried things like Blade, Ghost, Saber but now I'm going to try with the main idea, Kamen rider Wizard since this story has a big magic theme to it.
So with that said, how about we get this story started.
Opening: Life is showtime
I've had this dream again and again, it always started with me sitting in a hospital back when I was about 9 years old,
I was currently messing around with dads phone with a vacant look on my face while eating a plain sugar donut with a bag of them next to me.
"Hugo" I heard, before looking up to see my dad hidden away in the shadow looking down at me "Your mother wants to see you".
"Okay…" I nodded slowly getting up, grabbing the donuts and following my father to the hospital room.
"Ah, Hugo…I'm so glad to see you" I heard, as I entered a room to see my mother in a hospital bed while being hooked up to several devices.
"Hey mom…" I said, a small frown on my face as I walked up to her "I got your favourite…I thought it would make you feel better…".
"Ah! Thank you so much sweetie…" she said, as I placed the donuts on the shelf.
"…Mom…when will you be coming back home…I miss you…" I asked fully knowing the answer I was about to get which made my mom frown before smiling.
"Aw, now don't go looking like that" she said, slowly removing a ring from her hand "Hugo…you must never lose Hope…if you do…you won't be able to live a happy life…can you promise me that".
I nodded at that, making my mom smile before handing me the ring "I want you to have this…it will help you keep your Hope…even in the deepest depths…of…despair…".
"Mom?…" I asked, as I saw my mother slowly drifting off to sleep making me my eyes widen as I moved up to her "Mom?…Mom….MOM!".
"Someone! Get the doctors now!" My father yelled, as the nurses ran off while he grabbed my arm and began dragging me away.
"NO! MOM! MOM! MOOOOM!" I cried, tears streaming down my face as I was pulled away while gripping onto the red ring in my hand.
"Ah!" I gasped, finally waking up from that dream as I moved up while rubbing my temples "That dream again huh".
"Oh shit yeah, it's that dream again" I sighed, getting up to start getting ready as I looked around my room which was filled with different books or posters about football and games.
My name is Hugo, Hugo Draiocht…I'm a 17 year old student with chestnut brown hair and glowing red eyes.
I was currently cooking my breakfast now dressed up in my school uniform which consisted of a navy jumper with a white shirt and a blue tie, as well as brown trousers and a pair of black shoes.
"Guess dad is still out at the office…" I said, as the toaster popped revealing my toast before taking them out and putting them on the plate "Or passed out drunk again…or worse".
"Stop wasting your life with these hobbies! And find some direction in your life"
"If there's one thing I'm glad about this trip…I get a few days away from him" he said, turning on the to while beginning to eat his breakfast.
A few hours later
Bus
Hugo P.O.V.
We see a large tour bus driving through the countryside of Ireland heading back to the hotel the passengers were staying at.
In the bus we can see several students inside talking and chatting, as they waited to return to the hotel to get some rest, among these students included me.
I was on my way for a school trip with the rest of my classmates to the Irish countryside, studying up on some of the historic landmarks.
I then looked down at a pendant around my neck that was a silver ring with a red jewel and silver marking that made it look like a face, before looking up out the window.
"Man when are we going to get there" I sighed, before stretching "This is taking forever".
"What? Getting bored already Hugo" I heard, looking over at my classmate sitting next to me.
This was Ash, my classmate who had short blonde hair and brown hair eyes, with a beanie over his head.
"Well duh we're stuck here for hours on end while looking at dusty old ruins and stuff, I at least wanna get a good hotel" I said, making him skirt "Eh fair enough, have to agree with you on that one".
"Oh come on, I'm kind of looking forward to it," We heard, looking over at my other classmate who sat on the row opposite ours. She had ginger coloured hair with several freckles around her face as well as green coloured eyes "I wanna see all the cool castles and stuff, who knows we might even find some treasures".
"Oh yeah, all that Harry Potter stuff right Chloe?" Ash asked, making the now named Chloe smile "Well duh, I love that stuff".
"Meh, never really got into that stuff" I said, leaning back with a smile "Magic is just a bit too weird for me".
"Oh come on! That's where all the fun comes from" Chloe said, making me roll my eyes.
"Hey! What's that!"
The three friends blinked, as they looked out the window and saw some strange purple glowing circle in the middle of the road.
"What are you doing! Stop the bus!" The teacher yelled, as the driver struggled "I'm trying, it's getting sucked in"
"Gah!" Me and the others yelled, as we crossed our arms before being blinded by the bright purple light.
"Gah- huh?" I blinked, now finding myself standing up in the middle of a large field in the middle of the day.
Surrounding me were the rest of my classmates as well hundreds of other people teleporting into the field.
"Hugo…what's going on" Chloe asked, as me and her looked around "I don't know, this doesn't look like where we were at before".
"We"ve all gotta be dreaming right?…right?" Ash asked, walking up to us.
"Hey! Look at the sky!" We heard, before looking up to see the Sun and the Moon moving towards each other as the sky began getting darker and darker.
"A solar…eclipse?" I mumbled, as we saw the Sun and Moon meet causing a purple energy wave at us.
"What was that" I said, stepping back before hearing screaming as I looked over to see someone falling to their knees with purple cracks appearing all over them.
"W-Why…do I feel…so cold…" he said, as some of the people tried to run up and check on him but his body cracked more and more until it shattered.
"GYAAAAAAAAHHHH!" A large monster screamed, bursting the person's remains before flying up to the air much to everyone's shock.
We then watched as more and more people began getting the purple cracks before shattering like glass, transforming into different kinds of monsters that moved around the place.
"This…this is insane…" Chloe said, looking at the chaos going on around us.
"Uh…um guys…" we heard, before looking over to see the purple cracks moving up Ash's body as he stumbled to me "H-Help me…I don't…I don't know…
"Ash…your going to be okay…just stay calm….okay…" I said, trying to reassure him as he looked up at me "You…you need to get back…now!".
I was then shoved back as Ash's body shattered, releasing a large bird like monster that flew up into the sky and screeched out.
"Ash…no…what is happening-" "H-Hugo".
My eyes widened as I looked over at Chloe who started getting the purple cracks as well "I…I don't feel…so good…".
"No…not you two" I said, as she collapsed to the ground as I ran towards her "Don't give up on you! Can fight this! Chloe!".
"Hugo….help…me…." She said, as I reached out to her only for her to shatter into pieces right in front of my eyes.
"Chloe…" I said, falling to my knees as tears started falling from my eyes before gripping my head.
"G-Gah!" I screamed, as the purple cracks started moving up my body
I tried to fight this feeling as much as I could, but the feeling of something rising from my body was too strong, to the point that two dragon wings burst from my back.
"Why…why do I need to fight it…everyone gone…there's no point…in fighting it…anymore…" I said, as slowly stopped fighting the feeling but as I opened my eyes I saw the ring my mother had given me beginning to glow.
As I saw the warm light coming from the ring, my mothers last words to me rung through my mind.
"Hugo…you must never lose Hope…if you do…you won't be able to live a happy life…can you promise me that, I want you to have this…it will help you keep your Hope…even in the deepest depths…of…despair…".
"That's…that's right…I can't give up…" I said, gripping the ring as I stood up and raised the ring to the sky.
"I won't lose to despair! I'll survive this! Whatever throw at me! I'll survive it!" I screamed out to the heaven.
Rings glow then start moving. Down my body, as the cracks around me disappeared and the dragon wings moved back inside my body.
"What…just…happened…" I mumbled, as the daylight started coming back before looking down at my body.
My pendant had now moved to my left hand now being a lot bigger with the visor flipped up.
"This…This can't be real…I have to be dreaming…right…but that feeling' I said, gripping my chest.
"You've done well to survive and not lose hope young one"I blinked, as I looked around to see who said that "You have now become…a Ringed Wizard".
"Who said that!" I yelled, before looking up to see a figure clad in a white robe like armor with gold lining over a white undersuit as well as black gloves and black bands with golden lining on the wrists and ankles. on its waist was a silver belt with a black hand with red lining on the front. Its helmet had a crystalline orange face plate with silver lines forming a pair of eyes with the rest of the helmet taking the shape of a hood done in the same white with gold lining.
In his hand was a girl that looked about 14 years old with long black hair and wearing a simple white dress that was unconscious.
"Who are you! We're you the one who did this! Tell me!" I yelled, looking up at the figure before hearing growling.
"So one of the gates managed to survive…looks like I'll have forced you to feel despair after all" I heard, looking back to see a large humanoid cat looking monster wearing sphinx-like clothing with a pair of large wings, next to him was a group of golems.
"A-A monster" I said, stepping back as the golem slowly moved towards me.
CONNECT! NOW!
"Huh?" I blinked, looking up to see the White figure opening a portal before taking two balls of light out and throwing them at me.
"Shit! The White Mahoutsukai!" The monster growled, getting a defensive position.
"Hey! What are you doing!" I yelled, as the balls of light moved to my hand and my waist causing two new items to show up.
The first was a new ring that looked like a dragon going through a portal and around my waist was a silver belt with a black hand in the middle and two levers that I could slide up to switch the hands positions.
"Use it and fight…that is the only way you can survive in this world" he said, as looked at the new items.
"To survive…" I said, before looking up towards the monsters before I flipped the hand on the driver by sliding the left lever up, allowing the hand to turn over to my left and begin to sing as a Magic Seal appeared on it.
SHABADOOBIE, TOUCH TO HENSHIN! SHABADOOBIE, TOUCH TO HENSHIN!
My eyes started glowing red as I flipped down the ring's visor, making it look like a face before scanning it over the Magic Seal which changed to Red before I moved it to my right.
"HENSHIN!" I yelled, as the seal then grew bigger as the flaming seal floated next to me before moving towards my body, forming a new armour as it passed by me.
FLAME! PLEASE~ HI! HI! HI! HI! HI! HI!
I now wore armour similar to the person in white only mine was different.
It was composed of a black bodysuit with a black robe on top that went down to his knees with red inside, the chest area was covered in red gem-like armor composed of a long line down the middle with three rectangular sections on each other side, my shoulders had silver edges that were decorated with dragon-like crests.
I had the same bands on my wrists and ankles only in red with silver lining, the silver belt was still on my waist only with a silver chain hanging from the side, holding several different rings.
I now had a helmet that looked like the ring I wore on my hand, done in silver with a ruby red faceplate with silver lines shaped to look like big eyes with antennae rising from a yellow square piece on the forehead.
"Is this…really me?" I said, looking at the armour as the monster growled.
"You! Are you a Mahoutsukai" he said, as I looked up at him.

"Mahoutsukai? No…I am a Wizard!" I declared, as the Golems rushed towards me.
(Magic here! Magic there! It's Magic! It's showtime!)
"Woah!" I yelled, dodging their spears before attempting to punch one in the face only to feel a large amount of pain.
"Owwww! That hurts!" I yelled, shaking my hand before moving out of the way of their attacks.
(Stunning as the sight of an eclipse)
"Guess I'll just have to fight like I play." I said, ducking down from their strikes before jumping up and kicking the monster in the face, knocking its head off causing it to crumble. However, more of them started to gang up on me
(When the Sun and the moon cross paths in the sky)
"Ok… I can't kick all of them. Wait, one of these other rings must do something." I said, before taking out an orange ring with the image of a dragon appearing from a portal. I then turned the lever on my belt before scanning it with the other ring. "Time to see what you do."
CONNECT! PLEASE~
(The way that everyone prays miracles for them exist)
A magic seal appeared next to me much to my surprise. "Huh, just like he did. Well, let's hope there's something good here."
(Flowing with the rhythm of the times)
I then reached inside moving my hand before pulling out a large silver gun with the same handle symbol but closed "Ah! Now this is perfect."
(Nothing you say or do will change this routine)
I then turned to the monster running towards me before I raised the silver gun and aimed it at them before pulling the trigger.
(We gotta break out before it ends up choking us to death)
Bullets fired as they flew towards the golems … And past them. Dang! My aim with firearms was bad. But much to my surprise the bullets flew around and changed directions before striking the golems several times causing them to crumble.
(But more than just hoping, you gotta believe, energy in your heart's the key)
"Wow… Good thing I can use magic." I grinned, as I ran forward continuing to rapid fire at the Golems before moving out of the way of the Sphinx's attack.
(To make your hopes and fantasies turn out much brighter than what you dreamed)
Then, I noticed a button on the side of the gun, I decided to press it and to my surprise the gun turned into a sword.
"No Way! Gun and Sword?! Magic is sooo cool!" I said in amazement before dashing towards the Sphinx as it readied it's weapon.
(3! 2! 1! Showtime!)
Jumping off the small cliff the two of us clashed our weapons together. Despite having enhanced power, my opponent had more technique than me, so I decided to use tricky moves to dodge and move out of the way of the monster's attack before slashing it in a rapid motion.
(Magic time, there's no tricks tonight! Even a magic heroes sometimes fight to fly)
The monster roared as it stepped back and fired several energy blasts at me. Seeing this, I switched the sword back to gun mode and fired at the blasts causing them to explode.
(Dive in those roots of day fine passing by! To save the lost of our lives! Showtime!)
I then landed on the ground before continuing to fire at the monster, making it growl before raising its arm, summoning more Golems to surround me.
(Life is showtime! The best time of our lives!)
"Oh come on! There's gotta be something for that, I wonder If…" I said before I lifted the gun and pulled the thumb out, opening the hand causing a new magic Symbol to appear.
C'MON SHOOT! TO SHAKE YA HANDS! C'MON SHOOT! TO SHAKE YA HANDS!
(A reckless life's the only way to ride!)
"Shake hands? Ok." I said as I proceeded to do what it told me and shook its 'hand' with the hand that had the flame ring causing it to flash red, as the weapon was engulfed in flames. I then spun around while pulling the trigger.
FLAME! SHOOTING STRIKE!
(Today! Tomorrow! And all days yet to come! All the tears we shed become one!
The gun the fired a stream of fire destroying all of the golems surrounding me in a big explosion
(Into a jewel that sparkles like the sun!)
I sighed, before looking up to see the Sphinx Monster flying away as I smirked under my helmet. "Yeah, run away coward."
(Magic Here! Magic There! It's Magic! It's showtime!)
In Another World as the Final Hope
Forest
Third person P.O.V.
"Damn that mage!" the Sphinx monster said, walking through the forest while returning to his human form after fighting Hugo.
He looked to be and older man with a black beard and long black hair tied up into a pony tail. He was wearing a blue shirt with a sleeveless gold and brown vest and brown baggy pants and gold armour boots.
"This would've been easy if it wasn't for the damn mage." He said, but didn't notice two figures floating down behind him.
"So you have abandoned your mission huh?" A male voice asked, as the female voice giggled evilly "Master Wiseman isn't going to be happy".
The monster blinked as he turned around only for his eyes to widen at who he saw.
The first was a male monster. His body was muscular mostly composed of crimson red with whitish gold lines running across the torso, it had extra bits of armor on the chest, shins and other thighs done in the same crimson red as well as a flaming wing design on the forearms and legs. He had two golden bird heads with blue eyes on each shoulder pointing towards the sides as well as a gold ornament with blue inside located below the chest. His head was done in red and orange resembling a corinthian helmet with the front resembling a bird with its wings open with a pair of green eyes where wings are, as well as another wing at the top of the head coming from the middle of the forehead and extending towards the back. On his hand was a broadsword with a red grip and guard shaped like a bird.
The second was a female body was shapely with white inside of her legs, blue on the sides and purple lining between them. Gold bands were around her ankles, giving the appearance of boots as her feet appeared to be. Her top half looked like a uniform top with gold shoulders, making her look even more imperial like a general. Her head was mostly encased in a purple scaled helmet with a black visor that wrapped around the edges. The bottom half of her face was visible with pink. The most notable thing about her were the snakes coming out from underneath her helmet-like hair.
"Huh?! What the hell is a couple newbie Phantoms getting in my way" The Sphinx monster asked, as the Medusa monster smirked.
"Oh? You didn't hear, Lord Wiseman appointed us as his two right hands" Medusa smirked, shocking Sphinx "What! How can this be!".
"Oh it can be, so how about you get off your ass and start looking for some gates" Phoenix said, making Sphinx growl.
"Like hell, I'm going to listen to you!" Sphinx yelled, turning into his monster form as he dashed towards Phoenix.
"And you should respect my authority!" Phoenix yelled, slashing at Sphinx with his broad sword, sending him flying back.
"G-Gah!" The Sphinx grunted, as he was crushed into a tree unable to move.
"Now sweetie, why don't you go and get that Gate you were assigned to before Wiseman gets angry" Medusa said, as the teleported away with Sphinx gripping his hand while growling.
Back at the field
Hugo P.O.V.
"Oi! Where are you" I yelled, now back to normal as I made my way up the hill that White Mahoutsukai was
"Where did he go…" I said, looking around before noticing something ahead "Wait…is that".
I walked up ahead a bit and saw the girl that white Mahoutsukai was carrying now on the ground while still unconscious.
"You've gotta be kidding." I said, running up to the girl to check on her "Hey! Are you okay! Hey!".
"Come on! Wake up please!" I said, shaking her when I then noticed next to her was a note that read: 'You are worthy to be a ringed Wizard, I leave her under your protection…take her and go to the Fainne Jewelry Shop in the town of Reflet'
"Reflet?" I blinked, before I turned back to her and noticed on her hand was a ring much like mine that depicted a hand with a flaming dragon dhead hovering above it.
"Maybe…" I said, taking her hand and moving towards the belt which had shrunken down into a buckle on my belt.
PLEASE! PLEASE~
When I placed her hand on it and a magic seal appeared causing a bit of energy to move from me to her causing her to wake up.
"Mmm…huh?" She groaned, slowly opening her eyes and looking around before looking over at me "Who are you?".
"Oh um, I'm Hugo, Hugo Draiocht" I said, introducing myself before looking up to her "What's your name?".
"My name?…my name…" she said, looking down while holding her head "I…don't remember…my name…I don't remember…anything…".
"Amnesia?" I blinked, as I looked at her with a bit of sympathy before she looked over at me "Do you know who I am…".
"Sorry…I don't…I did see you being carried by someone called the White Mahoutsukai…and he left you in my care…but that's all I know…sorry" I apologised, making her frown "But I do know somewhere we can go…if you wanna come with me?".
She looked up at me for a few moments making me feel a bit awkward before she nodded "Okay…",
"Awesome, then let's go…actually what should I call you" I asked, as she looked down "I don't know…just call me whatever you think sounds good".
"What I think sounds good…" I said, looking down to think about it "How about…Iris?".
"Iris?" She asked, as I smiled "It's name…of someone that was really important to me".
"Well then shall we go?" I asked, standing up while offering her hand which she took and moved up as well before we left the current area.
A couple of hours later
Road
Third person P.O.V.
"Do you…know where we're going?" Iris asked, as she and Hugo walked in the road trying to find some form of civilization.
"Honestly not really" Hugo sweatdropped, while rubbing his head "I've been trying to check my phone but I just can't get a good signal…and I don't exactly think we're in Kansas anymore".
"Kansas?" Iris asked, turning her head making Hugo smile "It's just saying, it means not having any idea where we are".
"Why do you think that?" She asked, making me cross my arms "Well before all that craziness happened I was out in the countryside, but it looked nothing like this…maybe Northern Ireland? But I doubt it".
"Maybe this is a different world from your one? You did say you were teleported" Iris said, making Hugo gulp "Yeah…that's what I'm worried about".
Iris giggled a bit at his reaction, making Hugo smile a bit before they heard the sound of a carriage
The two watched as the looking carriage was drawn by two horses passing by them much to their surprise.
"Yeah that pretty much cinches it-" "AH! What are those!"
Hugo blinked looking at the stars in Iris's eyes before looking back at the Carriage ``You mean the horses?".
"Wow! Horses! Never thought I would see such a beautiful creature" she said, excitedly making Hugo smile before poking her head "Earth-to-Iris".
"Ah! Sorry, I got a bit distracted…I just got so excited see something new" she said, with an embarrassed expression.
"Nah it's fine, sides you got amnesia everything new to you just wait till we get to the-" "STOP THE CARRIAGE!".
The two blinked as the carriage's door burst open before a short blonde man with a moustache while wearing a very fancy outfit jumped out before dashing towards Hugo "Hey! You're there!"
"Uh hi, how's it going" Hugo said, a little bit surprised 'Well at least he speaks English'.
The man the grabbed there shoulders and began shaking them "Where ever did you get such Marvellous Apparel from! You must allow me to purchase it right this instant!".
"Marvellous…?" "Apparel?" Hugo and Iris said, at the same time as the man looked at Hugo.
"You must allow me to purchase it from you! I'll pay you well! You won't regret it!" He yelled, making Hugo raise an eyebrow "Pay?".
"Hmm, well you see we're kind of in a hurry…we were hoping to meet someone in the town of Reflet you wouldn't happen to know where it is, would you?" Hugo asked, making the man smile "Oh perfect! I'm heading there right now! How about this, if you sell me your clothes I'll give you two a ride to Reflet and even get you two free outfits from my store".
Hugo and Iris looked at each other, not sure how to answer this questions as the man looked at them expectantly.
Reflet
Third person P.O.V.
"Ah see! Now don't those outfits look smashing on you two" the older man said, as we see Hugo and Iris walking out in their new outfits.
Hugo's new outfit consisted of a red shirt with black rib like markings as well as a black trench coat and a long red scarf, with a pair of brown trousers and black shoes.
Iris's new outfit consists of a blue sleeveless dress with pastel purple, Iris, and white detailing. She has a cape, crown, and large sleeves in the same colours, black and white gloves, black stockings, and white heeled dress shoes. (Based off Melia from Xenoblade)
"Huh, actually not bad" Hugo said, looking at his new outfit before looking over at Iris "What about you? What do you think?".
"Mmm! I Like it! It feels so comfortable" she said, spinning around showing off her new outfit,
"Hahaha, well you do look beautiful little lady" he said, before taking out a bag of coins and handing it to Hugo "Speaking of which, he's the money I promised!".
"Eh? Are you sure? You already gave us these outfits" Iris said, making him smile "Hahaha, don't worry these clothes are nothing compared to your first outfit! In fact
if you find any new clothes, please bring them to me. I can pay you a hefty price when you do!"
"Haha, y-yeah sure thing" Hugo said, with a sweatdrop before blinking "Wait actually, I was wondering if you knew where we can get to Fainne Jewelry Shop?".
"Ah that place? Easy! just head down the main street, turn left and follow it straight, you can't miss it!" He said, making the two of them nodded "Thanks!".
The two then parted ways from the older man, but as they headed down the street Hugo noticed staring at a food stand.
"Huh?" Hugo blinked, before looking over at Iris who was blushing "Heh…alright, how about we go and get some food now that we got some money.",
"Really!" She said, excitedly making Hugo smile "Course, I promised you I'd show you a bunch of things! Might as well start with food".
"Ara? Could you two be looking for some tasty food" they heard, before looking over to see a man with a feminine haircut wearing a pink shirt and pink trousers walking up to them and acting very feminine.
"Uh yeah, you could say that…" Hugo said, while Iris shyly hid behind him.
"Aaaahhh! Well you two kiddo's are just in luck!" He said, spinning around and pointing to a food stand that showed a picture of a Donut with writing Hugo and Iris didn't recognise.
"Ooooohhh, Donuts huh? I could go for some of those" Hugo grinned, while Iris turned her head confused "Donuts?".
"Welcome back Boss!" An employee said, as they walked up to the store.
"I've travelled all over the kingdom of Belfast! Studying different cultures to create the greatest Donuts in the world! And you two new folks are the perfect taste testers for our Crystal Donut!" He said, revealing a Donut covered in what Hugo guessed was Rock candy shavings of different colours "A colour for all the magic types! I'm sure this Donut is going to be the sensation of the whole kingdom!".
"Huh, that does look pretty good…" Hugo said, making the Owner grin "Excellent! Then I'll get you a whole bag of-" "Plain Sugar".
"Eh?" The Owner said, before shaking his head "Y-You mean the Crystal donut right?".
"No, Plain Sugar" Hugo answered back before turning over to Iris "And what about you?".
"Hmm…" Iris said, as the owner looked at her expectantly only for her to smile "I'll try Plain Sugar too!".
"NOOOOOOOOOOOO!" The owner screamed, falling back due to shock as his employee ran up to him "BOSS! NOOOO!"
"So Dramatic" Hugo said, taking the bag of Plain Sugar Donuts and leaving one of the coins they got earlier.
A few minutes later, we see Hugo and Iris sitting on a bench in the middle of town while eating the donuts.
"So how are they?" Hugo asked, as Iris smiled happily "They're so good! Thanks for getting them".
"Hehe, told ya you'd like them" Hugo smiled, before looking down at the rings the white Mahoutsukai had given him.
Hugo currently had nine rings on him, 4 of them being the flame ring and three others Hugo assumed were for other elements considering the colours, that being Blue, Green and Yellow.
The other 5 were Amber rings including his connect ring, that that looked like his belt buckle which he assumed would turn it back to the driver, one that looked like a kick with a flaming dragon around it, one that had the silhouette of a Dragon and finally one that looked like his face when transformed.
"I wonder what magic these things can do…" Iris smiled, looking at the rings as Hugo leaned back.
"I'm wondering if there's any way to get more…" he mumbled, looking at the ring.
"That's not what you promised!" A female's voice argued, "You were supposed to pay one gold coin in return!"
The two perked up as they turned their attention to the source of the voice and saw an alleyway, secluded from the main street.
"What was that?" Iris asked, looking worried as Hugo got up, "Not sure but it may get ugly".
The two walked up to the alleyway and saw four people standing in the middle of the dark alleyway.
This included two men, a lanky-looking guy with a knife sheathed on his sides and a big and bald muscular guy, both of them standing in front of two girls that looked to be twins.
They both looked to be about 15 years old, the first one having green eyes and waist length silver hair, of which two bunches of hair are held in two "sleeves" near her face. She wears green culotte shorts that have a green bow on the small of her back. Under her shorts, she wears a long-sleeved purple shirt with a white centre. Under her shirt, she was also wearing long white gloves with small ribbons. Her knee-length boots follow the same regime, being purple and having white-rimmed purple socks, and just like her gloves being white, the foot areas of the boots are also white.
The other girl had the same green eyes as her sister but with neck-length silver hair, in which she wears a purple and white bow. She wears a green skirt that has a green bow on the small of her back. She also wears a long-sleeved purple shirt with a white center and purple/white tights. For contrast with her tights, her knee-length boots are white and have purple foot areas.
"Looks like a couple of thugs…they must have been scammed or something" Hugo noted, as they watched this going on as the Bald thug lifted up a antler that looked to be made of crystal or glass.
"No can do, this thing is scratched." The baldy denounced, bringing the glass antler up and showing where the supposed scratch was which was incredibly small.
"Just be glad we're still paying you for this, here's a silver coin." The lanky guy grinned, as he threw a silver coin on the ground near the two girls.
"Only one coin!?" the long-haired twin gasped, before clenching her fists out of frustration,
"Just cause it got a small scratch doesn't mean it's damaged!" She complained, as her sister look at her worried.
"Sis…please calm down, getting angry won't get us anywhere" the short haired twin said, trying to calm her sister down.
"Fine…Equip!" she said, as her hands flowed before transforming into two gauntlets much to Hugo and Iris's surprise "I don't want your money anyway! Just give me back the horn".
"No can do brat! This baby belongs to us know" the bald thug said, taunting them by waving the antler.
"Yeah! now be good little girls and we'll be on our way-" CONNECT! PLEASE~
The four were surprised when a familiar magic seal appeared in front of the antler before a hand reached out and grabbed the Antler.
'That magic…' Linze thought, looking at the magic seal as Thug started freaking out.
"WHAT THE FUCK?!" The thug yelled, as the Antler was yanked out of his hand.
"Oooooh, now this looks pretty cool" They heard, before looking over to see Hugo with the Antler in his hand "Think I can buy this off ya"
"Oh! Yeah sure thing!" The long hair girl said, as the thug growled.
"Bastard! Like hell I'm letting you take that!" He yelled, summoning a knife as he ran towards Hugo.
"Iris take this" he said, giving the glass antler to the girl who nodded and moved back.
Hugo dodged the Thug strikes, before jumping up kicking him back causing the Thug to growl.
He raised his knife to stab Hugo but he used his right hand to move the thugs hand out of the way before punching him in the face.
The Thug shook his head before opening his eyes and being met by a small box crashing into his face that was kicked by Hugo knocking him out.
"Huh, that was easier than expected" Hugo blinked, before looking to see the long hair twin knocking out the other thug with a punch from her gauntlet.
"Not bad" Hugo whistled, turning over to the girl who looked over at the young man while Hugo tossed a gold coin to her "And thanks for the Antler".
"No problem and thanks for the save." She said as she caught the coin while her gauntlets returned to normal , "By the way, I'm Elze Silhoueska, and this is my younger twin sister. Linze Silhoueska."
"Thank you so much for help us sir." The short-haired twin, Linze bowed in gratitude.
"Heh, no problem" Hugo said, before crossing his arms "I'm Hugo, Hugo Draiocht nice to meet ya".
"Draiocht? That's an exoctic name" Elze said, making Hugo sweatdrop "Yeah I get that lot".
"Oh, and my companion here is Iris" he said, motioning over to the young girl who was hiding behind him a bit out of shyness.
"Ah right, we'll see ya around" Hugo said, as they turned to the Alleys exit.
"Huh? Are you sure? I was going to offer you some food as thanks" Elze said, as Hugo smiled while looking back.
"Sorry we got a prior engagement, maybe next time" he said, walking off but as they did we see Linze watching him with a curious look.
With Elze and Linze
Third person P.O.V.
"Man, that was tiring, but it's a good thing that Hugo guys helped us out, now we actually got paid," Elze said, looking at the gold coin in her hand as the two sisters made their way back to the guild.
"Yeah he was really nice" Linze said, before looking down "Though I am curious about his magic…".
"What do you mean?" Elze asked, with a raised eyebrow while looking over at her sister.
"It's just, I didn't hear any chant to do the magic…and the way he did it…that seal…it wasn't like anything I've ever seen before" Linze said, looking down.
"Huh, well I'm sure there's an explanation for that" Elze said, making her sister slowly nod "Yeah…I suppose".
"But man seriously, too have been tricked so easily…that's just embarrassing" Elze sighed, while shaking her head.
"I told you we shouldn't have trusted them so easily." Linze said, making Elze nod.
"Right right, guess I was too excited" Elze said, raising her hand which held a pendant inside "I mean we finally got to become adventures! I just wanted to get an easy quest that paid well to start before we start doing the harder quests! I wanna be a famous adventurer like Dad was as soon as possible".
"It took years for Dad to get the respect he did, you need to take your time" Linze said, making Elze sigh "Yeah, guess you're right".
"Well seems like you two have been through a lot" They heard, before looking over to see Sphinx in his human form walking towards them.
"Ah! Hey Adam" Elze smiled, as they looked over at their senpai from the Guild.
"I'm assuming that the deal you guys had didn't go well" He said, making the two sweatdrop.
"Yeah kinda…" Elze said, rubbing her head awkwardly "Luckily we did end up getting paid by somebody else who helped us out".
"Well that's good at least" Adam said, as Linze turned to him "So why are you here Adam?".
"At right! I had a quest I was wondering you two could help me out with" he asked, surprising the twins.
"Really? Alright! Sure thing!" Elze grinned, gripping her hand.
"O-Okay, as long as it's not too bad" Linze said, as Adam began explains to the two what the quest is.
Faine Jewelry Shop
Hugo P.O.V.
"Okay, this should be the right way" I said, as me and Iris walked down the street to the shop while Iris held the Antler we got.
"Hey Hugo…I was wondering, why did you buy this off them? You could have just returned it" Iris asked, as I smiled "Well, I just thought it'd be a neat souvenir y'know".
"I suppose…" Iris said, before we made it and stood before a store in the middle of the city, with a board on top of the entrance saying: Faine Jewelry Shop. A ring just for you.
The place looked kinda empty in my opinion, like it hadn't received customers in weeks. But, it did seem like the place so I looked towards Iris for a moment. "You ready?"
"Yes." She replied, as the two of us entered the store.
While the outside looked a bit crummy and dirty, the inside was actually clean and refined with very high quality furniture and various clocks and on the furthest part of the store was the counter with many kinds of jewellery on display, especially rings of many kinds as well as a curtain connected probably to another room.
However what was most surprising was that there was no one at the store, it was completely empty.
"Excuse me, is someone here?" I asked, as we walked around before an explosion shook the store for a moment making Iris and I jolt.
Smoke started to come out of the curtain before an old heavy set man wearing an apron for forgery over his clothes, thick gloves and leather safety goggles walked out with an ashened face trying to clear the smoke.
"Damn, this is the last time I use a zircon eyeball to cut the gems." He said before he noticed us standing in his store.
"OH!" He said, and then quickly took off the apron, gloves and safety goggles before cleaning himself with a rag.
"Ah, I didn't see you there. Welcome to Faine, a store where we have the jewel just for you! What can I do for you?"
"Hi, I'm Hugo Draiocht and this is Iris. Do you know if the owner is here?" I asked, as the man laughed a little.
"I am the owner. Faine Volforg, a pleasure." He said before he stretched his hand and we shook hands. "So, what do you need?"
"Someone told me you make magic rings, so I was-" "OUT!" I was then interrupted when Faine suddenly shouted at us to get out, before he took out a wand which lit on fire. "Get out of my store you monsters or I'll burn you two alive!"
"Hugo, do something!" Iris said, hiding behind me while being scarred by the situation.
"Wait, wait, wait! It was the wizard in white who sent us here!" I said, trying to defuse the situation, the man didn't seem like a bad person but he reacted with so much fear, so I didn't want to make the situation worse by retaliating.
"Hmm" The man blinked, and lowered his wand as the fire disappeared but he still looked wary. "The White Wizard, eh? Tell me, did he give you a magic ring and a magic belt?" He asked with some sarcasm in his voice.
"Y-Yeah, he did." I said before I lifted my shirt a little with my to show the belt in the buckle form and my transformation ring and at this the man dropped on his knees making me and Iris jolt in surprise.
"I-It's true… You're the final hope." He said calmly, making me move my head to the side trying to figure out what he meant by 'final hope' before he shook my hand in sheer happiness.
"Thank you! Thank you so much! It's good you're here, I thought a phantom would come after me trying to make them a magic artefact. Thank goodness the White Wizard sent you!" He said, still shaking my hand intensively before releasing it.
"You're…um… welcome?" I said, before shaking my head. "Wait, phantom? Like a ghost?"
"Oh, that's the name of the monsters that are born from human despair." He said, shocking me and Iris..
"Wait? Those monsters are born from despair?" Iris asked, to which Faine nodded sadly.
"Yes, they are born when a person with the capability to use a specific type of magic is consumed by despair, when they are born the phantom takes over the person's body so they can use a human disguise. Because of that, I thought you two were phantoms in human form." He explained, while I looked down.
"... What happens to those who are consumed by a phantom?" I asked with a little dread in my voice as I remembered what happened to Chloe and Ash.
"They die, and not even with the most powerful magic can they ever be brought back." He responded with melancholy.
At that my heart stopped as I took a few steps back before falling to my knees 'I can' believe it…my friends, my classmates, everyone, gone… And not even magic can bring them back… I've lost them forever.'.
A single tear then dropped before I felt something grabbing my hand making my eyes widen as I looked over at Iris with a worried face.
"Are you ok?" She asked, trying to empathise with me.
I wanted to say that I was fine in order to calm her down, but I couldn't lie about my feelings for my friends.
"No… My-My friends died giving birth to phantoms in some kind of ritual. And they can never come back. Not even my magic can bring them back." I said before more tears started dropping. At this I was suddenly hugged by Iris, who also looked sad.
"I'm sorry for your loss." Was all Iris said before she hugged me harder.
This surprised me the most. She had amnesia and couldn't remember a thing about herself yet she was able to completely understand what I was going through. I couldn't explain why but it felt like that to me. I then released her from the hug and warmly smiled at her.
"Thank you, Iris. I need that." I said before Iris smiled back at me.
"Ahhh… It's nice to know you have a supportive girlfriend." Faine said, making both of us blush.
"Ah no, no, no we're not dating" I said, waving my hand as Iris nodded "Y-Yeah, we just right met today!".
"Right~" he said, with a smug smile making me sweatdrop
"Ehem. So Faine, can you please make more rings for me. The only ones I have are these." I said before I showed them the rings.
"Ah I see." He said before putting on another set of goggles and looking directly at me. "You have an amazing quantity of mana, more than the regular person. And if you're the only one able to take down phantoms then you need a bigger set of rings for any situation."
"So, you'll help me?" I asked with hope before he shook his head. "No can do."
"What! Why?" I asked, surprised after all the stuff he said about me needing them.
"I'm sorry but I can't make them at the moment. The machine I use to carve them is broken and I've tried anything, from emerald droplets, to jaspe wedges. I even tried a zircon eyeball, and you remember how that turned out." He said while I remembered the explosion. "Sorry, but without the right component to redirect my fire magic into a mighty beam, I can't help you."
I thought for a moment, before I remembered the antler the girls gave me. I took it out of my bag before I presented it to him. "Will this work?"
Faine examined the Antler before opening his eyes as wide as he could. "Let's see." He said with hope, before walking into the curtains with us following him.
On the other side of the surtain was a workshop with various gems of all kinds shapes placed on shelves located on the walls, on the center of the room was a strange kind of base where an orange stone was resting, on the top was some sort of arms with an opening that's supposed to hold something and a handle on the side.
"Let's see if you'll do the trick." Faine said before putting on his protective gear and placed the antler on the opening with the sharp end facing down towards the stone. He then grabbed the handle with his right hand and concentrated.
Soon magic started to flow from his body into the machine then into the antler. Then all of a sudden it filled with a reddish energy before firing a bright beam at the stone. Iris and I had to close our eyes and look away because of the brightness.
When the beam light died down we opened our eyes and saw the stone now perfectly cut into a circle.
"Amazing…" Iris said in awe and I had to agree with her.
"It works! Haha! It really works." Faine said before taking off his glasses and looking at me. "Thanks Hugo. You are a lifesaver."
"You're welcome." I said, before thinking of the twins. 'But I gotta thank them.'
"So, when will the ring be ready?" I asked which Faine looked at me.
"With this antler, I'd say roughly half an hour." He said before putting on his protective goggles back on. "Don't worry, I'm a professional."
"Thanks, we'll come back later." I said before Iris and I walked through the curtain.
"Ah! Wait, you should probably take some of the ones I have completed" Faine said, taking out a chest before opening it up.
I looked into the chest and saw a few magic rings which included one that had a dragon with a bigger dragon behind it, a dragon with multiple copies next to it and a dragon getting sucked up into some kind of portal.
"Oh these look useful thanks" Hugi said, as I reached in and took the rings "Do you know what they do?".
"Unfortunately no, I just made them I have no idea what they do" he explained, making me sweatdrop "Ah yeah, fair enough".
"Um…Hugo?" We heard, as we looked over Iris who was looking worried.
"Everything…okay Iris?" I asked, walking up to her as she gulped.
"I don't know I'm just getting this feeling…." She said, before gripping her head making my eyes widen "IRIS!".
"Iris! Are you okay! What's going on" I asked, running up to her as she closed her eyes "Images…flashing…AH!".
"Hugo! Those two girls! Their going to be attack by a Phantom!" She said, making me blink "What how do you know that?".
"Prediction magic…interesting" Faine said, as I looked at him before turning back to Iris "Alright…do you think you can lead the way".
"Y-Yes" Iris said, making me smile before standing up and looking back at Faine "We'll be back".
The two of us then left the shop as I looked over at Iris "So do you know which way to go".
"I believe they're at the forest East of Here, but I don't think we can make it in time" Iris said, as I looked down.
"That's a good point, what are we meant to- huh?" I blinked, when I saw the connect ring glowing.
"Maybe this can do something, it did get me the sword" I said, putting the ring on my finger before placing it on the buckle.
CONNECT! PLEASE~
A Magic seal appeared in front of us before moving forward which summoned a silver and gold motorcycle with a gem like face and its seat was two helmets.
It was a modified Honda CRF250R offroad bike that was done in silver with a black seat, ruby like gems on the front and 2 gold lines running through the main body connecting with the swingram that was also done in gold.
"Woah! This is perfect" I grinned, getting on the bike and putting on the helmet before looking over at Iris who looked worried.
"Um…what is that thing…" Iris asked, as I smiled underneath the helmet "Don't worry it's safe, just out on the helmet and hold on tight".
"O-Okay…" Iris slowly sat behind me and put on the helmet I had given her.
"Hold on tight, this thing can go fast" I said, making her nod before I proceeded to rev the bike.
VROOM!
"Kyah!" Iris screamed, as she hugged my back making me smile underneath my helmet before I continued driving towards the Phantom.
Eastern Forest
Third person P.O.V.
"Hah!" Elze said, as she punched down a horned wolf with her armoured gauntlet before crossing her arms to block the wolfs attack.
She then followed this by performing a spin kick sending the wolf flying back into a tree.
Another wolf tried to attack Adam but he used caught it's mouth with the hook of his cane before slamming it to the ground.
"Hail of red stone! Come forth! Ignite Fire!" Linze chanted, as she summoned a flaming tornado killing some of the wolves.
"Whooo, not bad for your first mission" Adam said, as Elze grinned "Thanks! Man that was kinda fun".
"Yeah! Thanks for inviting us to this quest" Linze said, making Adam nod before looking over at Elze.
"By the way, I noticed you had some kind of pendant earlier, what was that?" Adam asked, making Elze blink.
"Oh my pendant" Elze said, taking it out "Our dad gave it to us before he died…it's what gave me the goal of becoming an adventurer like he was".
"Yeah, the stories he used to tell us was what inspired us to become adventures" Linze explained, making Adam cross his arms before grinning.
"So that's what supports your heart" he said, walking towards Elze before grabbing her pendant out of her hands.
"HEY! WHAT ARE YOU-GAH!" Elze yelled, before being slapped back by Adam much to her sisters shock.
"ELZE!" Linze gasped, running up to her sister before the two looked over to see Adam's body shining before he transformed into the Sphinx Phantom.
"Eh?! Adam…" "…He become a monster?!" The two sister gasped, as the monster chuckled.
"Oh Adam gave into his despair and died a long time ago" the phantom explained, while crossing his arms "Which gave birth to me, a Phantom".
"Phantom?" Linze said, as the Sphinx raised the pendant.
"You humans try to act all strong with your puny excuse for magic, but in truth you're helpless before us Phantoms!" He yelled, before crushing the pendant in his hand.
"No!" Elze yelled, watching as the phantom dropped the pieces of her pendant to the ground as flashes of her and her father flashed through her mind.
THUMP!
"Gah" Elze said, falling to her knees as her sister looked to her "Linze! What's wrong! Come on!".
"Hehe, she's falling into despair! And will give birth to a new Phanto-GAH!" Sphinx laughed, before several silver bullets shot at him knocking him back.
"What" Linze said, before looking back to see Hugo with his gun in his hand and Iris getting off the bike "You two?".
"The Mahoutsukai with the rings!" The phantom growled, as Hugo smirked"Oh? So it's you again kitty cat?"
"Check on her" Hugo said, making Iris nod before moving towards the twins.
"Grr, I don't have time to play with you again!" The Phantom yelled, as Hugo smirked and out on the driver ring "That's funny, it's the same for me".
DRIVER ON! PLEASE~
"That's why I'm going to finish you quickly" he said, before pulling the lever on the driver causing a magic seal to appear.
SHABADOOBIE, TOUCH TO HENSHIN! SHABADOOBIE, TOUCH TO HENSHIN!
His eyes started glowing red as he flipped down the ring's visor, making it look like a face before scanning it over the Magic Seal which changed to Red before he moved it to his right.
"HENSHIN!" He yelled, as the seal then grew bigger as the flaming seal floated next to him.
FLAME! PLEASE~ HI! HI! HI! HI! HI! HI!
The seal shined before it moved towards Hugo's body, forming a new armour as it passed by him.
"Eeeeeeeeehhhhhh?!" Linze gasped, looking at Hugo in his Flame Wizard form "Hugo…he's a Kamen Rider?!".
"Kamen Rider?" Iris asked, looking at Linze "What's that?".
"I've read about them, their masked heroes from another country that transforms with trinkets and ride on machines like that" Linze explained, making Hugo blink.
"Huh? That actually sounds pretty cool" Hugo said, as he walked towards the Phantom "I guess I'll start calling myself, Kamen Rider…Wizard".
"Who gives a shit about names!" The Sphinx yelled, before running towards him making Wizard smirk.
"Looks like it's Showtime" he said, running towards the Sphinx as it pulled out his staff.
The Sphinx Phantom tried attacking at him with the stuff when the two got close, but Wizard barely dodged each attempt.
"Hah!" He yelled, kicking the monster back before putting on the connect ring and pulling the Lever on the driver.
LUPACHI MAGI! TOUCH TO GO! LUPACHI MAGI! TOUCH TO GO!
CONNECT! PLEASE~
A seal appeared next to him before he reached in and took out his gun, before proceeding to fire several rounds of bullets at the monster.
"Grr! Bastard!" The Sphinx yelled, raising his staff which glowed and materialised several shots of sand which shot towards Wizard.
"Huh! Gah!" He yelled, as he was flashed several times by the sand pullers before the Sphinx raised his wings and flew towards Wizard.
He then proceeded to hook Wizard with his staff before slamming him to the ground.
"Gah, guess I'm gonna need to try something new out" he said, before removing the Fire ring and taking out the water ring.
"If I learn one thing from Pokémon, Water beats ground" he said, putting on the ring before flipping the hand back to his left, and places his left hand on it.
WATER! PLEASE~ SUI~SUI! SUI~SUI!
As the chant was going a blue magic circle appeared to the left along with some currents of water.
It moved through Wizard, his parts that were red changed to blues and his gems changed from rubies to sapphires. This is Wizard Water Style.
"You can change Elements!" The Sphinx Phantom questions, making Wizard smirk "I guess".
Raising his gun Wizard shot several water blasts at the monster causing it to screech out in pain.
"BASTARD!" Sphinx yelled, before shooting dozens of sand bullets towards Wizard.
"Guess I'll need some help" he said, switching rings before scanning it onto his driver.
COPY! PLEASE~
Two magic seals appeared one in front of Wizard and One next to him, they passed by him creating a second copy of Wizard.
"Amazing" Linze gasped, as she watched the two Wizards shooting down the sand bullets "Not only can he switch elements he can use so many Null Magics too".
"Yeah, Hugo is pretty amazing" Iris smiled, watching the two Wizards fighting.
"Y'know, this gives me an idea" Wizard 1 said, as Wizard 2 nodded "Yeah, I think I'm getting the same idea".
The two proceeded to take off the Water rings before replacing them with the Green and Yellow rings before flipping the hand back to their left, and places their left hand on it.
HURRICANE! PLEASE~ FU! FU! FU! FU! FU! FU!
GROUND! PLEASE~ DODODO, DODODON! DON! DODODON!
The two coloured then passed by both clones body, switching Wizard 1 to a Green and Emerald looking form and Wizard 2 into a Yellow and Topaz themed form.
"He can use four elements! That's even more then me" Linze gasped.
"You think using copy magic can stop me!" Sphinx roared, rushing towards them.
As Wizard 1 jumped into the air, using wind magic to keep him floating Wizard 2 caught the attack while skidding back.
"Man dude! Learn personal space!" He yelled, before throwing the monster away and replacing the spell ring while scanning it on the driver.
BIG! PLEASE~
A seal appeared next to him before he reached in, causing a giant version of his hand to come out much to the others Shock.
"Time for a bug like you to go Spalt!" He yelled, before slapping the monster into the air towards Wizard 1.
"Hah!" Wizard 1 yelled, taking out his sword before slashing and kicking the Sphinx. Phantom multiple times before he crashed on the ground.
Wizard 1 landed perfectly on the ground as Wizard 2 disappeared before he took out his Flame ring and replaced the rings before flipping the Hand Author two times to reset it.
FLAME! PLEASE~ HI! HI! HI! HI! HI!
Switching back to his Flame Style form as he got his Kick Ring on his right hand. He flipped the Hand Author to the right.
LUPACHI MAGI! TOUCH TO GO! LUPACHI MAGI! TOUCH TO GO!
"I'd say it's time for the finale!" Wizard said' before placing it on the belt.
VERY NICE! KICK STRIKE! SAIKYOU~
Wizard spun around as a red magic circle appeared on his feet with fire engulfing his right foot.
He then flipped forward and then jumped into the air, aligning himself as he aimed at Sphinx who was picking himself up.
"HA!" Wizard shouted, as he shot forward as Magic circles surrounded him and then hit and went through Sphinx leaving his magic circle as the Phantom exploded with Wizard spinning around and posing but when he did he noticed something.
On the ground where Sphinx was, was a orange crystal much like the one Faine had "Guess that's where he gets it?".
"Hugo!" He heard, while picking up the crystal before looking over to see Elze's body continuing to crack "At this rate a Phantom is going to be born".
"Oh no! Is my sister going to die" Linze asked, worried as Wizard walked towards them before kneeling down "No! I promise I will never let that happen before my eyes again!".
"It's hopeless…I can never be a good adventurer…without Dad looking out for me…" Elze said, tears welling up in her eyes.
Wizard then noticed the ring that looked like his face glowing, the light moving towards Elze "Maybe…".
"Don't give in to despair Elze! Just leave it to me" he said, putting the ring on her finger "I promise…I'm going to be your final hope".
He then flipped the lever twice and scanned the ring onto his driver.
ENGAGE! PLEASE~
Elze then passed out as a magic seal appeared with Wizard standing up before jumping in, with his bike following him by driving by itself.
Elze's Underworld
Hugo P.O.V.
After a few minutes of driver a finally drove out of a magic seal into a greyed version of the real world.
"Where am I…" I said, looking around the strange realm before noticing what looked like a younger Elze and an older man.
"Papa! You're so strong! I wanna be as strong as you when I'm big!" Elze said, as the older man smiled and knelt down to her.
"You're already plenty strong Elze…" he said, before coughing a bit.
"Papa?" Elze asked, worried as the man looked over at her and smile.
"Here Elze…take this…think of it like I'm always with you as your becoming a proper adventurer-"
"Huh?" I said, raising an eyebrow before a purple crack appeared between the two "Shit!"
I quickly drove out of the way as a gigantic Minotaur came bursting out of the crack and began rampaging around the place.
(Play Last Enage)
"Man, how the hell am I meant to fight that thing" I said, before noticing one of the rings shinning "Just in time".
"Let's see what this one does" I said, putting on the ring before flipping the driver two more times and scanning the ring.
DRAGORISE! PLEASE~
"Huh? Woah!" I yelled, as a magic seal appeared above me before summoning a gigantic metallic dragon which roared.
Looking at him, he was more mechanical than flesh, and is covered in white armour with gold claws and horns, having a pair of small wings, and has a gemstone on its chest.
"Woah! Is that mine!" I said, as the Dragon flew towards the Minotaur which continued slashing at the cracks with it's sword.
The Dragon roared firing several fire balls at the monster knocking it back, before swinging it's tail at the monster sending it flying into the spaces wall, creating more cracks.
"A-Alright, Dragon you can tone it down now" I said, before it began firing several fire balls around the place creating more cracks.
"STOP THAT NOW DRAGON! OBEY ME!" I yelled, catching it's attention as it looked over at me with a glare.
"Oh crap…" I said, before revving the bike and driving away as the Dragon flew After me while firing fireballs.
"Crap! How am I meant to fight two of these guys!" I yelled, dodging it's fire blasts while in my bike when suddenly a scene flashed through my mind.
It was of the Dragon but with a new set of wings that looked like my bike had attached to it "Maybe…".
"Alright fine! Dragon, you need to be controlled!" I shouted spinning around, as I stared right at the Dragon which glared at me.
Revving my bike I drove towards the beast and made the motorcycle jump up high and land on the dragon's back.
"Woah!" I said, as the machine quickly split in half, leaving me sitting on the seat with the handlebars.
The rest of the machine became a new pair of wings for the Dragon as I attached to his back.
The Dragon fought it for a moment, but his aggression soon vanished and he became more docile.
"Okay, let's see if we can do something with this" I said as we flew towards the Minotaur while scanning the driver with a new ring.
CONNECT! PLEASE~
Reaching into the seal I took out my gun and began firing at the Minotaur while my Dragon began firing fireballs at the Phantom.
Growling the Minotaur took out it's sword and began swinging at the blasts, sending them right back at us.
The Dragon roared as it flew around the Fire Balls before diving in and swing it's tail st the Minotaur causing it skid back.
"Alright, my turn!" I said, jumping off my Dragon before changing my gun into a sword as I began slashing its back.
As this was happening Dragon continued firing several blasts at the Phantom while the monster tried to shake my off.
"Fine, I can take a hint but how do you like this" I said, jumping off the monster before I lifted the sword and pulled the thumb out, opening the hand causing a new magic Symbol to appear.
C'MON SLASH! TO SHAKE YA HANDS! C'MON SLASH! TO SHAKE YA HANDS!
FLAME! SLASH STRIKE! HI! HI! HI! HI!
My sword was wrapped in flames before I did a downward slash, burning the Minotaur's front, causing it to stumble back.
"Alright! We got it on the ropes!" I said, jumping back onto the Dragon as it roared out loud before flying in close and firing at the monster.
The Minotaur cried out in pain as it stumbled back, before roaring at the two of us as I smirked.
"I'd say it's about time we end this" I said, as I had the Dragon fly up high while switching out a new ring and scanning the driver.
VERY NICE! KICK STRIKE! SAIKYOU~
I leaped into the air as the Bike and the Dragon separated before reconfiguring into a giant claw while the bike attached to the back to keep control going.
As this was happening I was positioning myself while I let the fire magic engulf me.
"HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!" I screamed, kicking the contract as we started rocketing towards the Phantom with my foot in the Dragon claw.
We soon collided with the Phantom releasing a ball of energy which flew around the place trying to reform itself.
"Hmm" I said, looking at my last new ring glowing before nodding as I put it on and scanned my belt twice, as I proceeded to scan the ring on the belt.
SEAL! PLEASE~
The area shined as the ball of light was sucked into the ground which released a gold energy healing all the cracks in the underworld.
(End song)
When I landed on the ground my Dragon roared disappearing into energy which floated into me.
"Huh…weird" I said, before I looked over to Elze to see her smiling at the pendant her father gave her.
I smiled at that before getting on my bike and driving into the magic portal.
Eastern Forest
Third person P.O.V.
"Ah look!" Linze said, as her and Iris watched as the cracks around Elze's body disappeared "Thanks goodness she's okay".
A magic seal then appeared before Wizard drove out on his bike much to the girls surprise.
Wizard looked back at the three of them while returning to normal, a smile on his face as he got off the bike and walked towards them.
"Is it over? Did you do it" Iris asked, making Hugo smile "Yup, sealed her Phantom up real good they won't go after her now that they can't release it".
"So shall we take our leave" Hugo said, offering a hand which Iris nodded as the tow got up before walking off.
"Wait! Who are you" Linze asked, as Hugo looked back with a smirk.
"Oh me? I'm just a passing through meddling ma-blegh" Hugo said, before collapsing to the ground much to the girl's surprise.
"Hugo!" They yelled, running up to check on Hugo who was currently passed out.
From above we see Phoenix and Medusa who had watched this fight going on.
"Mou~ why did that Wizard have to go and ruin all the fun" Medusa sighed, pouting a bit "Wiseman's not going to be happy".
"Heh! Like I care, this Wizard dude looks like he can actually be a challenge! And I'm looking forward to it" he said, before punching his palm.
"Just don't forget our true purpose" Medusa said, before their bodies shined and transformed…into Chloe and Ash.
"Course not, this is all for Wiseman" Phoinex said, as the two of them walked off.
And done! Holy shit I did not expect how long this chapter was going to be, I mean more than 12000 words, Jesus.
I hope you liked this story, like I said this is a project I've had for a while now that I finally ground to doing.
