Donna, Emma, Bailey, Samantha, Wade, Toshiro, Helen, Sydney, and Payton were arriving at Helen's apartment for an at-home cookout.

"Peek-a-boo!" shouted Elmo.

"Thank goodness I found you, Elmo," Telly said from Helen's room while wearing a knight helmet. "It's hard to play hide and seek in an apartment building."

"Elmo," Donna chuckled, "shouldn't you be back at Sesame Street?"

"Your granduncle wanted me to show you this book," Elmo said while getting out a book with a cooking spoon and magical jewels.

Recipes of Jean the Genie, a magical cookbook.

"But how did you two get into my apartment?" Helen asked.

"Abby teleported us here," Telly answered, "although I'm kind of nervous about what's inside."

"Telly," Donna recalled, "your New Year's resolution."

"And that's my knight helmet," Helen proclaimed as she confiscated the knight hat. "Lucky thing Baby Bram has date night with Simon."

When Donna opened the book, she saw numerous healthy recipes with a junk food mix in them. "I think I know what these are," she said. "These are the type of recipes used for people who want to stay healthy but have uncontrollable junk food cravings. Alan showed me a few recipes in case my parents are too busy and I'm hungry. I wish we could make these."

All of a sudden, a chef-like genie popped out of the book. "What's cookin'?" the genie greeted. "I'm Jean, the Genie of the Cookbook."

She explained that she lived in the cookbook and she granted wishes to anyone that touched its golden jewel. And since Donna touched the jewel, she could wish for any recipe, However, Jean can grant wishes for ingredients on how to make them. "Lucky for us," Donna smiled, "Most of us are old enough to make these recipes."

"Hold on to your apron," Jean declared, "because it's mealtime, but I'm going to have to do two at a time. Who wants to go first?"

"Me, me, me!" Bailey shouted. "I want to try and make some banana dogs with chocolate milk."

"And I'm in the mood for spaghetti tacos and freshly squeezed orange juice," Payton said.

"Okay," Jean replied. "Banana dogs and chocolate milk and spaghetti tacos and fresh squeezed orange juice coming up."

After Jean got out all the ingredients, she told Donna and her friends to wash their hands and place them on their aprons. By the time they washed up, Payton shouted "Generosity!", and they all got aprons.

To make banana dogs, you'll need a banana, a whole wheat hot dog bun, and your favorite spreads.

Peel the banana, place it in the hot dog bun, and add whatever toppings you want.

For this one, Bailey added macadamia nuts and blueberry spreads.

And to make chocolate milk, just take some milk, chocolate syrup and stir well.

Now it was Payton's turn to cook up.

For spaghetti tacos, you'll need taco shells, spaghetti, and tomato sauce.

Although they need adult supervision, anyone over 13 could start boiling a pot of water. Turn the stove on, place the pot on top of the activated burner, wait for it to boil, add the spaghetti, and wait for 10 to 13 minutes for it to be done, because you never know what type of stove you'll be using.

After the spaghetti is done, take a colander or a strainer and place the spaghetti in, once the spaghetti is cooled, get a big bowl and place the spaghetti and sauce in and mix.

For the taco shells, place them in a 375-degree oven for about 12 to 15 minutes.

Payton wanted to save time, so she did the shells and the spaghetti all at once.

For freshly squeezed orange juice. Take two to three oranges, cut them in half, put them on top of a juicer, and push and turn until the juice comes out. Then you pour the juice into a cup and add some water.

While Bailey and Payton were preparing their meals, Jean decided to continue with the others.

Start with a plan and the food will be grand.

Note: This chapter will be informative. I'll place in recipes for those who want to eat healthy, but have uncontrollable junk food cravings.
