Legion's Reign Season 01 Episode 01
We see a rather futuristic sort of city with different species of all kind and move over towards a tower where we move into one of the windows zooming in on two guys and a girl walking into a chamber of sorts.
"Are you sure this is gonna work Mal?" The guy in blue questioned what it was they were about to do exactly.
"I am a twelth level intellect." The other guy, presumably Mal stated in response "It's going to have to work."
"I just want to get help to handle the threat." The girl in pink stated as they'd gone into the chamber they were walking towards.
"Incomplete records tell of the hero Ben Tennyson. I'm going to use this device to borrow him for awhile." Mal stated going over to some controls and began to get to work.
They'd activated the device and it began to whirl to life slowly creating strange energies as it had began to function and had created a burst of energy that cracked and shattered the dome around it with what looked like an alien bird with reptile skin and a jetpack on his back crashed down onto the platform of the device.
"Ow, my head." They spoke standing up and looking around at their new surroundings seeing what looked like a cross between a humanoid species of some sort along with a Galvanic Mechamorph but the circutry patterns were red in color. "Malware?" He'd then growled out glaring at them.
"My name is Malware Seven, please do not be alarmed." They spoke in response but the creature immediately began to atack ready to use an energy whip on them when the girl in white and pink got between them letting out a blast of energy from her mind knocking him back.
"Calm down, please, I am not the Malware that you are thinking of." Mal had called out asking him to please stop.
"He's a friend, please let us explain!" The girl spoke wanting to explain theirself. "My name is Saturn Girl, we broguht you here becuse we need your help saving the planet."
This made the creature stop and in a nearly blinding green flash they saw a blond with brown eyes standing there and crossed his arms. "You've got until recharge talk."
We then cut to a girl splitting herself into three and putting up a large banner that lit up with the words Welcome Ben 10 on it as one of them calls out "How's it look?"
Another girl walked up in a white and black costume calling "Looks good Triplicate Girl." and waving to the three girls above her.
"If you ask me digging up some old hero from the past makes us look desprate." A guy with orange hair and a lightning bolt designed costume stated folding his arms.
"Maybe because we are desprate." The girl in the white and black costume stated back. "Lightning Lad, this is the Fatal Five we're talking about. Even the Science Police are afraid of them. We need all the help we can get."
"You tell him Phantom girl." The three girls stated floating down to them while remerging into one.
"Hey, he's here!" Phantom Girl called phasing through Lightning lad to meet the Ben 10 in person only to be met with Albedo and looked slightly disappointed.
"This guy, really Mal? Doesn't really match the old stories of Ben 10 now does he?" Lightning Lad stated about the guy they'd picked up.
"There was a miscalculation, however according to the records this one will still suffice for our needs all the same." Mal answered back about the guy in front of them.
"My name is Albedo Tennyson. I wield the Duotrix." The new guy stated introducing himself as Albedo to the group and offered his hand to this Lightning Lad guy who at least had then manors to shake his hand when offered.
"Alright let's see if he can keep up." Lightning Lad then suggested and we fade to them having Albedo on a platform as the redhead says "Alright, let's see how strong you are. They use these to compress Tyrillium the strongest substance in the galaxy."
"Only this Galaxy? This is gonna be easy." Albedo answered back hitting the duotrix and changing into a large humanoid individual who's skin was red and had four arms instead of two. "Ready whenever you are."
"Alright don't get squished." Lightning Lad stated activating the first weight and Fourarms held it up with ease using one arm. "Ooh, got some muscle do you? Then let's add a little more."
Lightning lad added more of the weight to it and it did make Fourarms have to use two arms this time "C'mon just give me all of it!" Fourarms stated as Lightning Lad then shrugged and cranked it up to max forcing him to use all four of his arms and making him struggle a bit while the ground under him cracked under the pressure.
"Okay, that is impressive. But how long can he hold?" The Redhead then questioned watching the ground trying to give way.
Fourarms used one of his extra arms to his the strange symbol on his outfit and in a nearly blinding flash he'd changed into another form looking like a robotic individual with bubbling energies flowing through the clear bits of his body. He then began to fly up forcing the machine to struggle against him causing it to let out a strained creak and the pole began to become crushed against the strain before snapping.
When the pole snapped he'd flown up into the air crashing through the floors as he'd doen so before calling "Oops. Guess I don't know my own strength." before flying back down into the tower landing in front of the others and putting down the machine while saying "Sorry about that, I didn't actually mean to break it."
"Okay, I'm convinced." Lightning Lad answered completely caught off guard by the power of the guy in front of them.
"Good." Atomix stated before hitting the dial and changing back to human form again. "Now tell me about this Fatal Five you're having problems with?"
"Allow me to show you." Saturn Girl stated and used her powers to send the images into Albedo's head.
We first see a large creature breaking the ground with their fist as it had a brain with a dome over it as Saturn Girl states "The first is the Giant, Validus. Incredibly powerful though not as strong as the form you used to break the machine."
The next was a guy with a gold and red costume with a purple energy and a helmet that revealed his skull surrounded by the same energy in his hand. "Mano, who can destroy with a touch."
Then there was a guy who looked half human and half robot "Tharok as smart as Malware Seven and armed to the teeth."
"Persuader, who's atomic Axe can cut through anything." She'd continued as they saw a man with a large pole Axe and an ugly mask bolted to his head where his face should be.
"And Finally, the Emerald Empress, their leader." Saturn Girl stated showing the image of a woman in green along with a floating eye "And her Emerald Eye of Ecron, it's both the source of her power and a tool for her cruelty."
We then snap back to reality where Saturn girl says "It took the entire Legion to put them in jail. They've escaped, and now they're coming back for us."
"Uh guys they're here." The guy in blue, Bouncing Boy stated to them and they'd all headed down to meet them.
The Emerald Empress looked at the group and questions "This is all you have left to fight? I'm dissappointed."
"I thought you said Validus was supposed to be a Giant." Albedo stated walking over to the largest of the Fatal Five and looking up at them. "Guy doesn't even come up to ankle. These dweebs are the guy you had trouble with?"
"This one is smug isn't he?" The Empress questioned looking at Albedo as he didn't seem the slightest bit worried.
"I mean, I could probably take the lot of you down by myself so.." He'd answered back with a shrug just not even bothered.
"Let's not taunt the bad guys Albedo." Malware 7, better known as simply Mal spoke to the past hero about their enemies.
"What, but taunting is half the fun." Answered back Albedo about messing with the villains simply for his own amusement.
"Enough of this!" Called out the Empress growing angry that they weren't being taken seriously. "Validus flatten him!"
The largest memeber of the five had slammed his hand down on top of Albedo as there was a green flash mid slam dust had been kicked up around him with the others looking worried. Only for Validus to then go flying through the air and making a whining sound as gravity eventually kicked in and they'd began to fall crashing down onto the ground twitching in pain.
"I thought you said these guys were tough?" Albedo questioned in his four armed form again while cracking both sets of his knuckles ready to do more.
The one called Mano tried to charge at him but he'd grabbed them by the wrist with one of his lower arms and swinging them hard against the ground cracking the pavement before throwing him into Validus.
"Feel free to step in any time." He'd then called out to them and they decided to join the party.
Lightning Lad's scar glowing as he'd blasted Tharok as hard as he could shorting out the tech half of his body and causing him to drop down onto his side and says "Y'know, this is kinda fun knocking these guys around for a change."
Persuader had tried to cut Triplicate girl in half but she'd split apart and the three kicked him in the head as Phantom girl had phased through him snatching away his axe in the process.
"Why does this suddenly feel easier?" Saturn Girl questioned throwing Tharok into Validus and Mano starting to make a pile out of the five.
"Maybe it's because Albedo is here and it feels more like a game than an actual threat." Bouncing Boy called out bouncing up and down on Persuader over and over again keeping them from getting up.
"I believe we were only successful before using the entire legion because we grosly overestimated them the last time and let our fear of the reputation cloud our judgement in battle." Mal answered back walking over in a large attack form as Bouncing Boy moved out of the way and he'd knocked Persuader into the pile.
"There's a time to be joking, and a time to be serious. Now is not a time to be serious." The four armed Albedo called out to them facing the Empress.
"Look into the eye." The Empress called out as Albedo just punched it as hard as he could leaving it dented and knocked it over into the pile. This frustrated the empress and so she'd caused the eye to let out a flash and they'd used it to escape by teleporting away.
"Aaand they're gone." Lightning Lad spoke with a sigh about them getting away. "That has to be the easiest we've ever beaten those guys."
"So back to the matter at hand, though we brought you here to help us defeat the five there was a malfunction and there's no telling how long it will take me to fix the machine." Mal stated looking apologetic.
"Meh, if I'm needed in the past at the machine hasn't been fixed I'm sure Paradox will come get me, no big. I don't mind staying to hang out." Albedo answered back as if it had been no big deal to wait around for it to be fixed.
"If you're gonna stay, you're gonna need these." Mal spoke opening a box that had a Legion of Superheroes belt on it and a ring that had the same logo on it too.
"Y'know, Albedo doesn't quite sound right for a hero name, you need a hero name like the rest of us." Lightning Lad told him looking over at the alien hero from their past.
"The fact the transformations all have different names not enough for you?" Albedo questioned looking at him raising an eyebrow.
"They do?" They'd questioned him looking confused as to him using different names for when he changes.
"Ya, Fourarms, Atomix, Astrodactyl." Albedo answered back listing off the different names of the transformation.
"Is Astrodactly the one that broke the machine?" Triplicate girl questioned curious about the transformation.
"No that was Atomix. Astrodactyl was the form I was in when you guys brought me here to this time. I don't think you were there for that one." Albedo answered back about the different forms.
"Alright so that means fourarms is the guy with two left arms and two right arms huh?" Questioned Lightning Lad about the names.
"Do I need to just call off the names of the transformations for you guys whenever I change?" Albedo then questioned looking at them slightly annoyed.
"That'd actually help out a lot ya." Bouncing Boy answered back to him about just calling the name whenever he would transform which made Albedo roll his eyes and sigh.
