Legion's Reign Season 02 Episode 02
We pick up where we left off as they'd seen the city and their hq in total ruins with Triplicate girl stating "The city, our headquarters, it's all gone."
"We weren't but a few moments behind him how is this possible?" Timber Wolf questioned looking around the place.
"Unfortunately the inexact nature of wormholes has places us here several days after the arrival of Imperiex." Malware 7 stated to them looking concerned at everything they'd seen.
"Buildings can be rebuilt, what's important is we help as many people as we can out of the rubble and check what still fuctions in the Legion Clubhouse. Along with finding out what happened to the rest of the Legion." Albedo stated to them about what to do.
"What's the point Imperiex has won, my future is probably gone." Amalgam questioned why they should even bother.
"Don't be so sure, I learned from Ben that all possible futures exist at once, we're running on Multiverse Theory not Fixed Timeline Displacement. You're here to help stop Imperiex in this time so that he doesn't find a way to get back to yours." Albedo stated to them telling Amalgam that his timeline is still fine.
They'd heard groaning and Albedo had run over lifting some rubble and grunting as he'd struggle to do so but managed to get it off of the person seeing Phantom Girl half phased through a steel beam and he'd pulled it off of her throwing it to the side.
"Don't try to talk we already know about Imperiex." Malware 7 told her and she'd shaken her head still weak.
"Not Imperiex.. All of them." She'd told them still too weak to fully get up at the moment as they'd heard fighting going on.
"Mal, get Phantom Girl to whatever is left of the medical bay and get whatever you can to help her recover." Albedo then called to them picking up Phantom Girl and handing her over to Malware 7 to look after.
"What are you going to do?" Mal questioned taking Phantom Girl so that he could carry her to find anything to help.
"I'm gonna go kick their ass for what they've done." Was the answer he'd gotten as Albedo cracked his knuckles and called "The rest of you follow me."
They'd gotten there in time to see Saturn Girl blasted while the Emeral Eye was damaged and leaking power and Albedo had pulled a staff with Tharok questioning "No fancy watch to fight with?" while blasting at him.
Albedo however had dodged the blasts and struck Tharok in the side of the face spinning the staff and slamming the end of it into his gut knocking him back towards the others and an explosive went off shortly after exactly where Albedo had jabbed Thayrock.
They'd all started fighting and began to overwhelm the enemies getting them on the ropes. and Tyr calls out "Fall back, the odds have shifted." as they'd taken off leaving Emerald Empress behind as she'd been holding the Damaged eye.
We see that they'd moved the injured legion members to a hospital since the medical bay was badly damaged as Collosal Boy was being treated up top and Cosmic Boy was taking into a room on a stretcher while Bouncing Boy was watching with Triplicate Girl.
"I'm just glad that you're safe." He'd told them turning towards her as the three fused together into one again.
We cut to a room that Timber Wolf was in standing next to the Emerald Empress and Amalgam walking in with Malware 7 the latter of whom had said "Wish I had some good news, but both Collosal Boy and Cosmic Boy are out of comission. And the energy that Matter Eater Lad had absorbed from trying to eat the Eye of Ekron has left him well.."
Matter Eater Lad had been strapped down and laughing like a goofball and Timber Wolf says "We get the picture. What about Saturn Girl?"
"Esper's brain blast has left her catatonic." Mal stated to them as we see Lightning Lad next to the bed that Saturn Girl was on. "We haven't been able to revive her, at least not yet."
"How did this happen exactly, how did they all escape Prison?" Lightning Lad questioned just how all this came about.
"I'll be happy to explain, those Jerks abandoned me after all. If I'd known it would have turned out this way I would have just stayed in prison, something caused the whole planet to shake and all of the guards had seemingly vanished. Some Legionairs were sent to stop us but it was too late, the inmates were already running the place. Your friends are now in those cells we'd been thrown into and are waiting for help, that is if they haven't been disposed of already." The Empress then stated to them about what happened.
"We need to regroup and free our friends to better our chances to take out Imperiex for good." Malware 7 told them just what the plan should be.
"We'll have to throw every able boddied Legionair at the problem." Phantom Girl spoke walking in having recovered enough to be on the move again.
"Then we need to focus on freeing our friends." Albedo stated coming into the room and seeing Phantom Girl was up and about so he'd asked "How are you feeling?"
"I'm good enough to handle a rescue mission." She'd answered back noticing the damage to his body and clothing along with the missing Duotrix and a seared scar where it used to be. "Wow."
He'd torn the rest of the shirt off as it was in his way revealing the rest of his upper body as he'd done so. "Alright then, we're gonna go get our friends back and take down the villains so that Imperiex can't use them against us."
"Wow." Phantom Girl stated again getting to see more of him and the damage that'd been done in the last fight.
"I'll make preperations for a full scale assault on Takron-Galtos." Mal told them all stating that he'd prepare a plan of action.
"Right then." Albedo nodded and took out his staff and extended in spinning it in front of him before slamming the end onto the ground. "It's time to go to work."
"Wow." Phantom Girl stated again seeing him still ready to fight with or without the the Duotrix didn't seem to matter to him at all.
"Please stop saying that, can we get Albedo something to wear so Phantom Girl stops drooling all over her boyfriend." Timber Wolf spoke asking if there was anything that Albedo could wear instead of the damaged and half destroyed outfit he was in right now.
Phantom Girl stuck her tongue out and Malware 7 says "I believe so, thouth he may not like it. And there's something else we need to pick up while we're there."
"Then let's go, Chameleon Boy your dad's loaded right? See if he's got a cruiser we can borrow would you?" Albedo then stated to them and asked Chameleon Boy about getting them a ride.
"No problem boss man." Chameleon Boy called back and the two left to head back to the base to find something.
Albedo and Malware 7 had gone back to the HQ and had gone to a special panel that the latter had pressed against and it moved out of the way revealing a set of stairs that they started to walk down.
"I discovered an empty storage chamber under Legion HQ that wasn't a part of the building scematics but it had appeared stable and so I decided to build a sub-lab just in case someone accessed Computo they wouldn't get ahold of any of the current projects I'm working on." Mal explained to them.
"So what's down here?" Albedo questioned as they'd gone in and he saw some things that looked sorta familiar but also different.
"From the scans I've run of the Duotrix I was able to study and improve upon the design, the only thing it needs now is a shell to hold everything together." Mal explained about what he'd been working on showing them the deigns he'd come up with.
Nodding Albedo says "One question." and Malware 7 looks up at the leader of the Legion wondering just what that would be and he smirks asking "Can you make it green?"
Malware 7 then smirked in response to the question and the two began to get to work putting together everything which the shell was the only thing that they would have to deal with thankfully as Mal had been building it for a couple of years now. Soon enough they'd had it put together and Albedo had but the bands onto his arms.
"Feels a little weird having one on each arm, but I'll get used to it." Albedo told Mal while adjusting the bands to fit just right. "Since there's two maybe we should call it the Biomnitrix."
"Not a bad name, now the Biomnitrix will responds to your mental commands. Simply think of the two you want and press them together. As for what to wear, as I said you may not like it but I have a spare costume stored down here." Mal stated to him taking out a costume from a storage contain.
Albedo took the costume and unfolded it raising an eyebrow and says "You're right, I don't like it."
The two headed outside where a cruiser had been waiting and a tractor beam opened up drawing them into the ship teleporting them into the main cockpit. The others had taken a look at Albedo in the costume and immediately began to laugh at him, well everyone but Mal and Amalgam anyway.
"Ya ya, it's just a temporary costume until we rescue the others and find something else." Albedo tod them letting the group get it out of their system.
"Nice battle cruiser, since it isn't a part of Computo's database Imperiex won't be able to hack it or anything." Mal then stated to them about the cruiser.
"Not being hacked is a plus, and so are these neo-leather seating." Chameleon Boy stated hugging one of the seats.
They'd headed to the prison Planet Takron-Galtos and prepaired to launch an assault to free the others and we then see them blowing a hole into a wall where the other Legionairs were being held prisoner. We then see the doors open on the other end of the room revelain the villains.
"Ooh, looks like we get to add to the collection." Tyr stated to the other villains seeing the remaining Legionairs had broken in.
"Don't be so sure, I've got a new toy I've just been itching to try out." Albedo stated to them with a smug look and stands there looking as though he was thinking about something. "Oh, now that would be fun. Echo-Monkey!" He'd then called pressing the two devices together and in a green flash he'd changed into what looked like a fusion of Spidermonkey and Echo Echo.
The Villains had looked confused as just what they were seeing but then began to laugh at how rediculous it looked while Phantom Girl looked a little embarrassed. That was until he'd then created a copy of himself, and then another, and another, and another, and so on and so forth until he by himself had outnumbered the villains. Ran-Karr had held up his index finger as if he wanted to say something but the transformation had unleashed sonic screams from every single one of the coppies as well as the original making them stop what they were doing and grab their ears in pain.
Once they were distracted Echo-Monkey and the duplicats shot the villains with webbing from their tails and tied them up before then re fusing together and changing back into Albedo. "Okay ya, this is kinda fun. Nice job Mal." He'd then stated turning back to Malware 7.
