Shortly after Rocklock Cavern had been lost, the Shane Gang were back at their base.
"We have to get word out to everyone about this, they need to know what is coming," said Trixie as she headed for the computer.
"What good will that do, we can't stop the Dark Water," said Pronto.
"Hate to say it, but I agree with the little guy this time, Eli, even if we warn people there is nothing we can really do to help," said Kord as he put the Ghouls down on a table from which another cage formed around the container they were already in.
"Get the word out, Trixie, it can at least buy us time to think if nothing else," said Eli while rubbing the back of his head and thinking of their next move.
"Uh, we have visitors," said Trixie as the Shadow Clan King appeared.
"What happened?" asked the king.
"Dr. Blakk returned with his son, the Dark Bane, and the Goon," said Eli.
"And Tad's slug, Pieper, was Ghouled with the power to control Dark Water which is now flooding into the caverns every time she's shot," he said.
"Then I fear that this is truly the end for Slugterra," said the king who looked hopeless.
"There has to be something left," said Eli.
"Only this," said the king as he handed a small black box over to the human.
"Your father told me to give you this if Slugterra ever reached its last days, maybe he had some way to help," he said before vanishing.
"What is it dude?" asked Kord.
"The last message from my dad," said Eli before pressing a button on the box.
"Eli, I hope this message never reaches you because if it does then it means only one thing," said Will who appeared as a hologram.
"That somehow Dark Water has flooded into the ninety-nine caverns and you have no idea how to stop it," he said.
"How did he know?" asked Pronto as everyone looked at the hologram with stunned expressions.
