Back in Slugterra, the rest of the Shane Gang and some civilians had gathered at the drop area which was the only unaffected cavern.
"We have to hold our ground here until Eli gets back!" said Kord while fighting some Darkbane.
"I knew it," said Tad as he approached along with Dr. Blakk and the leader of the Darkbane.
"Eli did go after the Surface Slug, just like Will thought he would," he said.
"What are we going to do now?!" asked Redhook who noticed they were surrounded and outnumbered.
"You perish," said Dr. Blakk with an evil smile. Tad then readied to shoot Pieper but stopped at the sound of a slug being fired which echoed throughout the entire cavern.
"What?!" asked the Goon as he noticed a Hop Rock Slug flying from the vent to the surface. It then landed at their feet, causing an explosion that sent the villains flying backwards.
"Eli," said Trixie with a smile as he came flying out of the tunnel on Burby.
"Looks like I made it back just in time," said Eli while landing with his group.
"So what if you're here, there's still nothing you can do to stop us!" said Tad as he got up before firing Pieper into the sky.
"Wouldn't be so sure about that," said Eli who shot the Surface Slug at Pieper, knocking her out of the air before she could sing.
"Whoa!" said the King of Sling as everyone closed their eyes at the sight of a blazing light.
"This… this can't be!" said a Darkbane that was being burnt by the light.
"The Slugenergy from it is too much, none of us can survive it!" said Dr. Blakk as all of the villains burned away.
"How can one slug have this much power?!" asked the Goon who also turned to dust. However, the Surface Slug did not stop there and went on to fly around all the caverns.
"Does this mean it's over?" asked Pronto.
"It does, at least for now," said Eli while watching the slug flying around, burning all the Dark Water and returning the slugs and people back to normal.
