I own nothing but my own character Amy, this is a Pennywise/OC fanfic.
Amy was promised to the horrific clown many years ago when she was a child but there was a cost and hes come to collect.
Spoilers there will be some scenes in here from IT: Chapter 2.
Previously:
"Meeting up with the guys, then I met Ritchie here and he's good at this game!" He said enthusiastically while Ritchie and Eddie looked between us confused.
"Right, well Ritchie, Eddie meet Aiden mine and Henry's Cousin. And I think they have a film to see soon so might be worth leaving for a little bit?"I asked, trying to get my point across to both of them. Eddie got it but Ritchie didn't note what I was saying and instead turned to Aiden asking if he wanted another game.
The door slammed and all the kids went quiet, Henry and his other little posse had walked in via the cinema entrance as Ritchie asked as such.
Aiden froze, obviously noting that Ritchie must be one of the Loser kids Henry moans about and decides to try and impress Henry...
Amy POV:
"No, why would I want to play a game with a Loser like you, leave me alone you freak!"Aiden says in a dramatically loud voice to make it clear to Henry he wasn't involved with the enemy so to speak.
Aiden ignored my disgusted look and walked to Henry saying why we allow people like him to live in Derry while if Henry's glare wasn't already fire hot it was when he saw me and Eddie hiding behind me.
"What are you trying to score with my little cousin here? huh?" Henry taunted blanking me and Eddie as he glared solely at Ritchie who was speechless in confusion and fear.
"Get out! Go you little fag! Go!"Henry screamed as Ritchie hesitantly looked around as I shuffled Eddie towards the door which he obliged with opening it for us.
"What are you waiting for LEAVE!"Henry finally screamed so loud his voice cracked and his face went red, I moved and grabbed Ritchie feeling sorry for the kid and pulled him through the main exit door as he let me drag his stunned form along and onto the streets.
Finally clear from view we let an almost joined breath out as we headed to the square Eddie was walking side by side with Ritchie who just looked devastated, he had potentially lost his long friendship with Bill, Beverly and maybe the entire group if they didn't fix this soon. And now he had forgotten the reality and made a new friend he had been publicly humiliated and screamed at because of the person who he thought he made friends with.
Despite being a loudmouth sarcastic geek I pitied him and he was a sweet kid and loyal with little faults hopefully this will blow over and they all make amends soon.
"I'm sorry Ritchie if I had known Aiden was in town I would have been looking out for him and warned you but he is enthralled by Henry like they are brothers so he does whatever he can to impress Henry even at the expense of others..." I murmured from behind them.
"So, I don't care just another Bowers great! We have enough of them in town just leave us alone for all we know you could have told them where we are to get targeted!''Ritchie snapped in the square as Eddie tried to talk to him but it was all bumbling together in a string of arguments.
"You know what, whatever I tried to warn you! But whatever I'll leave as I'm obviously not welcome. See you later Eddie."I said in a stunned response to Ritchies harsh words.
In a spin I turned from the steaming boy and apologetic one as they had hushed words while I walked towards the barrens. Me and mum swam there with Henry when he was little and she was teaching us to swim. You travel down the ravine and it soon leads to a large cliff and deep pool of water where a lot of people go cliff diving.
Walking along the rocky surface via a small wheat field I reached the water's edge and followed it through the thick woods and into the pebble stone river and finally past the sewer entrance before reaching the large pool where huge boulders sat around it. I slipped off my shoes when paddling in the ravine so I just placed them on one of the flatter boulders and heaved myself onto it and sat back enjoying the warmth of the sun.
Gentle heat caressed my skin as I relaxed letting my scratched legs ache before I duly noted I never cleaned them, pulling the baby wipes out I lightly wiped over my legs making sure to get into the scratches and getting any dirt out taking my time as I had it to spare. Finally after about 15 minutes I started applying some cream over the lightly scabbing scratches making sure that the deeper ones were still clean and were not bleeding as they started again once I had wiped over them.
Putting my bits back into the bag Mr Keene gave to me I relaxed a little and just thought about random bits, not focusing on the words Ritchie uttered considering they were said in anger and hurt so most likely not meant as a direct or purpose insult. Not thinking of a homicidal cannibalistic clown stalking me, just thinking of the future and some ideas of where I want to go when school finishes for good for me this time later in the year...
In my little imaginary world of travel I must have dozed off.
When I woke up not only was it night, it had gone cold. Shivering I sat up in a repressed shock at the time of day and the chill which didn't bode well considering I was wearing a light summer dress and had no shoes on, way to get home properly while seeing my way through the woods, fields and deep waters if I mis-step. Gulping I slipped my shoes on as my eyes slowly adjusted and grabbed my bag sliding from the boulder into ankle depth water.
I had been here many times before but never at night and never alone. Really I had been here with mum and left to my own devices but she had always kept an eye on me.
Gulping again my dry throat scratched itself with no liquid to soothe my throat. I ignored the light burn. Stepping one step at a time towards where I remembered coming from I relaxed my eyes letting them adjust as I went and slowly I started being certain of trees and boulders instead of walking into them, though I did trip I made it a good distance from where the deep waters were.
The worst bit would be the ravine as it was dotted with large and small stones that if I tripped on I would hurt myself badly if I fell wrong.
"Just one more step." I made my mini mantra as I went about going home, when I reached the square I would be fine but that was a good 15 minute walk in broad daylight and then a further 10 minute walk home from the square and that's via the fields not the main roads which would be safer but longer.
I was quite proud of myself so far I had managed to get quite far without tripping ov-!.
I fell over a boulder after hitting it with my calf and then literally fell over it onto the floor behind it. Due to the water being knee deep in this part of the ravine I got soaked and hurt as my weight hit the cold water's surface before landing on the uneven rocky floor.
I felt the bruised flesh heat up as I attempted to move but my leg was in agony. I had gotten too confident and mistook the boulder for a ripple in the moving waters and this happened now I am soaked, freezing and hurt. Great.
Sitting up I spat out the water I consumed in my fall and proceeded to try and sit up pulling my throbbing leg away from being mounted on the border still and letting my wet hair stick to my shivering face as I trembled in fear, exhaustion and cold.
"Well well well, you came to visit little old me?"A eerily chipper voice sang from the sewer entrance a small distance away that I failed to note in the dark.
Please review this is an idea i have had the last few years and finally got around to writing it so let me know what you think! :)
