"Ahhh!" shouted the twelve year old up pup named Fynn, who was a White Swiss Shepherd dog. His whole body was covered in with white, snowy fur apart from his ears, which were black. He looked at his clock beside his bed and saw that it was past midnight

He was panting very hard due to the dream he just had. He looked around and found out that he was still in his room...

In a house of a Heeler family.

His ears twitched. He turned to the door and heard some footsteps coming towards his door. And found a blue heeler looking at him with a worried expression. Worried and wondering what was wrong with him.

He was Bandit Heeler. His adoptive father. Bandit is a great father to his two daughters, Bluey and Bingo. Even to him, which was weird to him in few days they interacted because he wasn't even he's real son. But Fynn liked Bandit. They weren't related by blood but he treated like he was his own son. Even his wife, Chilli looked at him that way.

Like a son they never had...

"You alright, mate?" asked Bandit coming toward him still with a worried expression in his face and kneeling on one knee next to his bed.

"Yeah, I'm alright, Bandit." said Fynn not facing Bandit to make him not to worry about him "But, can you get a glass of water, please? I'm thirsty.." continued Fynn, feeling his throat a bit dry from his screaming and panting

"Righto. I'll get you some water" said Bandit before heading down to the kitchen for a glass of water

Fynn waited for him to come back with his water. His ears twitched again, hearing Bandit come back with his glass of water in Bandit's hand

"Here you go, mate." said Bandit as he handed him the glass of water

Fynn thanked him and drank the glass of water. Drinking the water made him sigh in relief.

Bandit asked again if he was alright and his answer was still the same from before.

Fynn has never called him Dad or Mom to Chilli ever since they adopted him. They also said to him to not be pressured to call them that, which he was grateful. That he can just call them by their name. They were always there for him. When he was hurt, they were there. Always cheered him on.

And yet, He didn't even call them Mom or Dad...

"Are you sure? Because seems to me you had a nightmare." said Bandit trying to assure him that it's okay to tell him about it. Fynn sat silently and pondered about the dream or nightmare like Bandit said.

He told Bandit about his dream.

About he was running in a raining forest

Those dogs coming after him..

Including the large dog...

After telling him, he could see the concern on Bandits face for him. "I'm sorry, Fynn. That must have been scary for you. Especially, with the big dog with the red eyes. " Said Bandit putting an arm around his shoulder and pulling Fynn closer to him.

Fynn pondered about what Bandit just said. Did the large dog scare him?

He didn't think so.

"The scary part for me was few dogs running towards me with their... " said Fynn coming to a blank as to what they were holding. "What were they holding?" asked Bandit

"I think they were holding guns... " said Fynn, remembering what they were holding

"Guns?! What?! " exclaimed Bandit before quickly covering his mouth, not wanting to wake up the rest of his family

" Yeah, they were the scary ones... " mumbled Fynn to himself

" What about the large dog? " questioned Bandit, curious to why Fynn thinks the dogs with guns are more scarier that the large dog

...

Silence follows, as the white pup wondered why he was more scared of the dogs with guns than the large dog with red eyes. He was probably more scarier the those dogs. Yet, that doesn't seem to be the case here.

...

" Fynn? " questioned Bandit, breaking the silence

" The large dog didn't really try to scare me, he wasn't even looking at me. He was looking at the dogs behind me. I also feel like he wasn't going to hurt me. " explained Fynn now looking at Bandit to see his reaction.

" Hmm.." hummed Bandit " Maybe that wasn't a dream or nightmare. " said Bandit trying to make sense of it.

" Huh? What do you mean? " said Fynn puzzled at Bandits statement " Maybe that was a memory of yours when you still a kid." concluded Bandit

"I'm still a kid, Bandit. I'm still twelve. " teased Fynn to alleviate some of the stress he had from the dream or as Bandit put it a memory of his.

"You know what I meant, mate!" said Bandit as he let out a sigh and shaking his head at his teasing. They both laughed afterwards.

Fynn wondered if that was the case.

He doesn't seem to remember anything from when he was a little bit younger. He doesn't remember where he was born, and even his parents.

That was also a reason why he hadn't called Bandit and Chilli as Dad and Mum. He felt that if he said that, he feels like he's replacing them, even though he doesn't even remember them. If they are even alive...

" You really think it's a memory of mine?" asked Fynn to Bandit " Well, it could be. We can't rule out that it could be a memory of yours, mate. " answered Bandit, who then yawned feeling tired

"Look, How about we continue this tomorrow and also tell Chilli about, yeah?" proposed Bandit as he was still tired and eager to get some sleep

"Yeah that sounds-" he was interrupted by the floor creaking at his bedroom door.

Both Bandit and Fynn turned to door to discover that Bluey was in the doorway, awake. Much to Bandit's dismay.

Bluey was a blue heeler like her father. She was very energetic and lively. She always like to play pretend with her family, Fynn included. She always find a way to make someone play with her. Her notorious Please Face was always the one she uses. When he first came here, she was annoying to him. Always dragging Fynn to her games some of it being so annoying that he even considered to lock himself in his room to avoid her. But as he played and bonded with her, he comes to realize that, she was not what he first initially thought. She was still annoying but she also was caring and enjoyed playing with her friends and family. She is so imaginative and fun to be around with. He has grown to see her as a little sister, both her and Bingo.

"Bluey? What are you doing? You should be sleeping." said Bandit sighing, as he has another child to put to bed

"I'm sorry.." begun Bluey, twirling her foot in the floor with her head bent down. "I woke up when Fynn screamed.. And I wanted to know what was happening. " continued Bluey, now facing the Fynn with a worried face

Fynn smiled at his sister's concern for his well being

"Yeah, I'm fine. Don't worry, Bluey." he reassured her "Just a bad dream but nothing too scary" he continued as Bluey approached him and was by his bed.

"Are you sure?" questioned Bluey still not convinced that it was okay

"Yes, Bluey. I'm sure" answered Fynn, Bluey can be persistent sometimes. Fynn wasn't sure if that's good or not.

Bandit then proceeds to picked up Bluey to her room. To which she protested.

"Come on, squirt. You still need to sleep more." Said Bandit, carrying a little blue heeler in his arms

"But dad.. can I sleep with Fynn tonight, please?" asked Bluey, wanting to be with her big brother.

"What? Why?" asked Bandit to his daughter, raising an eyebrow at her

" Because I want to?" trying to think of a reason and convince her father to let her stay " No. That's not a reason. You already have your own bed. " answered Bandit making Bluey sad that she can't sleep with her brother.

"Actually..." Fynn began causing both heelers to look at him "I don't really mind for Bluey to sleep here." continued Fynn earning a 'Hooray!' from Bluey and a groan from Bandit. "Are you sure, mate?" asked Bandit, with a giggling blue heeler with her tail wagging, coming up Fynn's bed

"Don't worry, Bandit. I'll make sure she goes to sleep. You go and sleep. I've got it covered." he reasured a tired Bandit at his door

"Well, alrighty then. Night kids! " said Bandit waving the kids good night with them saying "Night!". He then closed the closed the door and went to his bedroom.

" You comfy, Bluey?" asked Fynn to the blue heeler as she snuggled closer to him in his bed

"Yeah but I want to ask why were you screaming? Was it a bad dream? What was it about about? " asked Bluey to her brother

" I think it was a bad dream but Bandit thinks it's a memory of mine. And it was about..." Fynn then proceeds to recount the events to Bluey but leaves the gun part.

" I do wonder why I wasn't scared of the large dog. " pondered Fynn

" Well, if you think that he was someone that wasn't going hurt you. Then he must be someone you know and loves you! " excitedly shouted by Bluey

" Bluey! Your inside voice! Some are still sleeping, you know." said Fynn in a hushed voice to Bluey and covering her mouth with his hand

"Opps! Sorry." Bluey said now in a little quieter voice. Also causing Fynn to laugh at her loudness in her voice

" Yeah your probably right, Bluey" said Fynn to his sister "Aw, you can be so smart sometimes!" said Fynn while pinching her cheek. This earned a giggle from the blue heeler

He then, noticed Bluey was frowning all of the sudden.

"Bluey? What's wrong?" questioned Fynn trying to figured out what wrong with her

"Fynn, when you remember everything, about your parents or your family.. Are you going to leave us when you do?" asked Bluey looking her brother in his eyes with a sad expression on her face with her ears falling back

Fynn was shocked at the question Bluey gave him. He didn't even realise what happens next when he does regain his memories. He loves them and they also love him.

Would he try to find his real parents? Or his siblings? If he even has siblings..

Or..

Would he stay in his adoptive family? His adoptive family that was there for him when he needed a family..

His adoptive family who was there to love him..

His adoptive family who cared for him..

...

He paused trying to think an answer to Bluey's question

" Well, Bluey I-" he was interrupted by Bluey's yawning "I don't want you to leave, I want you to stay..." said Bluey who was trying to not fall asleep but ultimately failed. She was now fast asleep and getting comfy in the bed. Fynn smiled and kissed his sister good night on her forehead and tried to get some sleep..

...

Fynn was stay awake , staring at the ceiling of his bedroom, as he pondered what he should answer to Bluey's question, if she ever asked him again. He checked his clock to see it was past one. He was alone with his thoughts as he recalled the dream.

His thoughts wandered to the large dog in dream.

He didn't want to tell Bandit or Bluey what kind of dog he is in his dream was

But Fynn knew what he was.

As he continues to grow in the Heeler household, he noticed that he wasn't like his family

His sense of smell was not like theirs

His sense of sight..

His hearing..

He was so different from them

He thought of it as nothing. But when he told some kids about it, they always say "That's weird". At first he didn't mind it all, but as more kids said that, he started to feel self-conscious about it.

A year ago or more, he started researching about it in Bandit's computer, which he asked permission to use. And found out that he was..

A wolf

Well, part-wolf to be exact

He still had the physical appearance of a White swiss Shepard dog, apart from his ears. His ears are black, so that mean he had the black wolf as a parent.

He also asked Bandit about wolves since he's an archaeologist, so he should know somethings about them.

Turns out, he was right.

Like him, they had their senses enhanced, unlike the dogs present today. He also said they were strong and feared. Claws that are so sharp, they'd slice through you. Jaws so strong you can't escape them once your caught. Ears could hear the slight movement. Eyes that could see in the dark. They were basically the ancestors of the dogs today.

They were feared by their strength.

He looked at his side and wondered what Bluey would think of him if she ever found out what he was. Bluey and Bingo are still young so they react too bad or maybe they do. Fynn doesn't really want to find out. Then, what about Bandit and Chilll. He wondered what they would do if they ever found out.

Are they also afraid of wolves?

Would they still accept him as their son, if they ever find out?

So, he didn't tell them. Decided to keep it a secret

Afraid at what they might think of him, if they ever found out what he was

And that dream of his pretty much confirms his origins, well half of it.

'I wonder if your still out there?' thought Fynn, thinking about the wolf in his dream

So many thoughts, Fynn had. All were about his origins.

Why he can't remember his parents?

Why he lost them?

Are they even still alive?

Are they looking for him?

So many questions, yet so few answers

Fynn yawned. It was really late, he really should get some sleep. He yawned again realising he was now really tired and how late it was. He decided that it's questions for Future Fynn to deal with.

For now, sleep was his top priority right now. With his sister by his side, he slept soundly. Happy to know there was somebody beside him, who cared for him.

The Sun was beginning to rise in Brisbane, Australia. It was now morning in the Heeler household. Fynn was waking up in his bed. He yawned and looked to his side to see Bluey still beside him, sleeping still. He got up from his bed, careful not to wake her up. He figured it was best to let her sleep more, seeing as she woke up in the middle of the night because of him. Plus, It was Saturday today, so they didn't have school.

He could smell that Chilli was cooking breakfast. He decided to go help her make breakfast. He went down to the kitchen and saw Chilli and Bingo. The former was, as excepted, cooking breakfast, while the latter was drawing in the dining table. Chilli was cooking bacons at the moment, which caused Fynn to drool a bit in his mouth, realising he was hungry.

Bingo was the first to notice him and greeted him as he entered the room.

Bingo was the youngest daughter of Bandit and Chilli. She was a red heeler like her mother. She and Bluey were practically inseparable as sisters. They always play with each other, sometimes dragging Fynn also. They would squabble but they would always make up afterwards.

"Good morning, Big brother!" greeted Bingo with a smile on her which caused Chilli to greet him

"Good morning, guys." replied Fynn and also yawning.

This caused Chilli to worry, wondering why he still lacked sleep

"Didn't get enough sleep last night, Fynn?" asked Chilli

Chilli was the mother of the family. A Red Heeler. Like her youngest. She was what mother should be to her child or children. Nurturing, caring, and takes care of her children and her family. She also works at an airport, security to exact. So, she know a thing about safety.

"Yeah.." replied Fynn, rubbing an eye to wipe off the sleep in his eyes

"Well, why don't you sleep some more, huh? I'll wake you up when it's done." said Chilli while also flipping the bacons

"No, I want to help you cook, Chilli" said a little bit tired but ready to help her, also smiling at her direction

Despite how tired Fynn was, he always loved cooking. With cooking, he took his keen sense of smell to use. Making sure it was fresh. He always loved the feeling when he cooks something, and then someone like someone he cares about loved his cooking.

He always loved that feeling

"Oh, well, if you're sure then, you can start on the omelette." said Chilli happy to hear someone help her cook. Bandit sometimes help her but he was still sleeping. Probably because of what happened with him last night.

Bingo ears perked at what her mother just said.

"Ohh, yes! Your omelette are always so good!" said an excited Bingo, excited to eat her brother's cooking

"Aww Thanks, Bingo" said Fynn ruffling her head affectionately, making her giggle at the gesture

"But I thinks Chilli's better, though." said Fynn looking at his adoptive mother

"I don't know about that, Fynn" refuted Chilli "Your cooking is way better mine" continued Chilli

'Huh?" said Fynn, raising an eyebrow

" I've seen the way you cook, You always put your heart into it. Like you have knack for cooking. Making it so delicious than mine. Don't you think so, Bingo? " said Chilli, looking at her youngest daughter, to which she agreed while also giggling

" Oh! You could be a Chef! Making all the wonderful food and people loving them! Hehe! " said Bingo to her big brother

" You guys think so? " asked Fynn to his adoptive mother and youngest sister

"We know so." replied Chilli, fully aware of the potential of her son's cooking skills

Fynn smiled at them, grateful for their words. He was about to thank them but Fynn's head started to hurt, his ears ringing as he remembered something...

A small white swiss Shepherd dog with black ears could be seen beating eggs in a bowl, with a determined looked on his face.

"That's me.." said Fynn

It was his mother's birthday is today, so the pup decided to wake up early, so that he early before his mother wakes up. He always loved it when he watches his mother prepare breakfast, lunch, or dinner and also some desserts. He would watch her intently and he would ask her questions like 'what's that?' and others. He was still learning but was determined to make the best omelette she has ever tasted. His ears twitched as he heard footsteps coming at the door leading to the kitchen.

The pup panicked and rushed to door. He saw a dog, the dog was completely white.

'Who are you..?' said Fynn, trying to move his mouth but it was still shut.

"Mum! Stop!" shouted the much younger Fynn

"Huh?" said the white figure

'That's... my... Mum?.." questioned Fynn to himself " Why is she all white!? I can't remember her features at all! Come on, Brain! I can't even see her face! "said Fynn, trying to remember his mother

" Yo-you can't come in just yet! " said Fynn, not wanting to ruin his surprise for her.

The white figure put her hands on her hips

" And why not?" said the figure in a teasing tone to her child

" Because! Because uhhm.." said Fynn trying to think a reason to say to his mother

The white figure chuckled lightly at her son's struggle

" Are you making breakfast?" said the figure

The pup panicked, fearing his surprise was ruined

"No! There.. there was.." the pup answered, still unable to think of a reason. U ltimately, he just couldn't lie to his mother.

"Yes.." continued the pup "I wanted to surprise you for your birthday.." said the pup sad that his surprise was ruined

"Ohh, Fynn.." said the white figure, touched at his honesty and his surprise for her

"Why don't I just help you? You do the cooking and I'll guide you all the way." said the figure, trying cheer him up

"But I wanted it a surprise.." said the still sad pup

"Well, I'm already surprised at you cooking breakfast for us. Come on, it'll be a lot more fun if we do it together. Don't you think? " said the white figured rubbing the pup's head. The pup seem to like the idea so he agreed.

The two of them began cooking. The white figure helped the pup by encouraging him and also telling his mistakes all the while the pup do all the cooking and preparing

It wasn't perfect but it was good enough for the white figure and she was proud of her son at his progress.

Her facial features still can't be seen but you could tell she was proud of him

With the omelette fished, the two began eating, enjoying the meal they cooked together

Due to how much fun he was having, the pup had forgotten something to say to his mother.

"Ahh!!" screamed the pup, scaring his mother "Happy Birthday, Mom. I completely forgot to say that to you" sheepishly said Fynn to his startled mother

The figure paused and then laughed. To which she thanked afterwards and also ruffling his head causing Fynn to giggle and wagged his tail happily

The two finished eating breakfast and the white figure was cleaning the dishes while Fynn is seen drawing in the table

"Did you pack your bag for the trip to Dad?" asked the figure, as she cleaned the dishes

"What? My father doesn't live with us? Then where is he? " asked the present Fynn, to which no one answered

"Yeah!" said the younger Fynn, excited to see he's father then the pup frowned

"Mum? "said the younger Fynn to the white figure

" Yes, honey? " said the figure still washing the dishes

" Why can't Dad just live with us here?" said the pup, causing the white figure to pause what she was doing

" Well.. Uhh it's because he just doesn't like it here" lied the figure

"So, if he doesn't like it here, does that mean he doesn't love us? " said Fynn with a sad expression, which caused the figure regret what she said

" What?! Of course he love us " exclaimed the figure, now by her son's side, rubbing his arm "Then, why doesn't he live with us?" said Fynn, tearing up a bit

The figure sighed and said " Look, it's complicated. I'm sure it would go over your head as I explained why. I'll tell you when your older, okay? "

The pup sighs and nodded his head in agreement

"Great but I also want you to know.." the figure began with the pup's attention at her " that he loves you very much. You are the greatest thing to ever have happened to him. Never forget that, okay Fynn?" finished the figure while ruffles her pup's head

"Really?"

"Really."

The pup had a smile on his face, his tail wagging, happy at his mom's words

"Do you think Dad will like what I drew, Mum?" questioned the young pup to his mother, showing her a drawing of their family

The drawing had Fynn in the middle of two figures. A White one and a black one

Fynn couldn't see it in her face but he could feel that she grinned at him and said

"I know so!"

As Fynn started to open his eyes, he saw the worried expressions of Bingo and Chilli

"Big Brother! Are you okay?!" exclaimed a worried Bingo "Yeah.. I'm alright. Don't worry, Bingo. Just a headache" lied Fynn reassuring her, though that didn't work on Chilli but decided not to pry.

"Now come on, we need to get started, you know how Bandit when it comes to food" said Fynn, trying to change the subject

"Hehe, he gets -" Chilli started "Cranky!" finished Bingo, All three of them laughing

So they started, Bingo also helped by taking eggs from the fridge to Fynn so he could get started on the omelette. While Bingo was carrying the eggs, some of it started to fall. Luckily, Fynn was to there catch the eggs. Much to Chilli's relief. And the two Blue Heelers in the family woke up and the whole family eat their breakfast and started their day, a normal Saturday in the Heeler household.

In the living room of the Heeler household, Fynn could be seen on the couch reading a book in his hands

As Fynn continued to read, his mind went back to his headache, which he knows are his memory and the dream he had.

In less than a day, he partially remembered his parents.

He wondered if he should tell Bandit and Chilli about. They always said to let them know if he ever remembered something from his past. Then he remembered what he was.

Fynn sighed and closed the booked he was reading

"Maybe I shouldn't" said Fynn to himself, unsure of what to do at his current situation

Just then Bluey and Bingo appeared behind the couch

"You shouldn't what?" said Bluey, with Bingo beside her.

"Gahh! Bluey! Bingo!" exclaimed Fynn, startled at their sudden appearance, almost falling

"What were worrying about?" continued Bingo

"Oh. Uhh. Just about an assignment I had. Don't worry about it." lied Fynn. He noticed Bluey was holding on a jumping rope.

" Uhh.. Do you need something from me? " questioned Fynn, probably knowing what they want from him

" Could you play Horsey with us?" said Bingo, with her Please Face.

"I hate it when they do that" sighed Fynn in his mind

"Uhh.. Sure. But don't you usually have Bandit play as the Horsey? " said Fynn, remembering the the time Bandit did it. It was pretty funny to watch him pretend as a horse.

"He's busy, and Mum is also busy and told us to play with you instead." explained Bluey

"Fine, then. Let's go." sighed Fynn to duo of giggling blue and red heeler, while the former said "Let's go to the backyard!"

"What?! But it's hot outside. Can't we just play Horsey inside?" questioned Fynn

"Nope!" said both girls, giggling at him

Fynn sighed and followed the girls to backyard

Now he begins to understand why Bandit hates it.

Soo, good?

Probably not..
