A Love Unusual

CHAPTER 1
The barista asked the two men sitting at their bar, "So how did you two meet, anyway? You mentioned this place being a bar once." Both Gala and Hyde looked at each other, sipping their coffee and blushing a bit before looking back at the barista. "Well yeah, this place was a bar before you took it over.", Gala said as he chuckled at the memories shared way before this place turned into an overnight coffee place. Hyde smirked at him and continued their story. "Actually, when it was, I came in and got really drunk one night, I ended up pissing off some Dwarves that night and you see me… I'm not the biggest guy in the world." Hyde chuckled, taking another sip of his coffee. Gala chimed in again, "Hyde here ended up grabbing my attention and called himself a big shot claiming I was his big bad bodyguard. Back then I wasn't as… calm and collected as you see me today and… I beat the shit out of them. We got kicked out and I took him home since he was so drunk."
Hyde blushed deeply, his pale skin a now light purplish pink. "I wasn't that drunk…" Gala gave him a look that made him rethink his next words. "Hyde, you were so drunk, I carried you on my back and in the middle of shit talking those Dwarves, you threw up on me." Hyde furrowed his brows, trying to remember a moment he knew he couldn't recall. He nervously chuckled and ran his fingers through his hair. "Ah… Is that so… Well, I guess I did have a little too much to drink after all…" The barista giggled and shook their head as they cleaned the bar. It was close to closing time and the two finished their coffees and waved goodbye to the owner. As they left the coffee shop, the small bell jingling behind them, Hyde blushed a bit as he felt bad, he caused Gala to go through that all those years ago. "Hey... Gala?" Gala looked down at him giving him a kind smile, "Yes?" Hyde slipped his hands in his pockets, looking to the ground with such guilt. "You didn't have to help me out all those years ago, but you did, and I am forever grateful for it..." Gala tilted his head, curious to why he brought it up again after the fact. "I don't know why you keep bringing that up, honestly if it wasn't for that happening… I probably would be working another dead-end job that benefited from me being a werewolf and mostly angry all the time. I like to look back on my meeting you fondly because… You saved me from that lifestyle Hyde." Hyde blushed, his eyes widened, and his heart started beating fast as if he felt alive again. He couldn't bring himself to meet Gala's gaze as they walked, "I... I'm glad that you think of me that way." Gala noticed how much he blushed and chuckled at the thought of it. He gave Hyde a reassuring pat on the back. "Hey… I always think of you fondly Hyde... I hope you do the same for me since you have seen me go through so many fury spells since knowing me… I could have hurt you each time, but you chose to stick around, and that means the world to me." The two shared a genuine smile as they walked the rest of the way back to their apartment in a comfortable silence.
Once back home, the two men went their separate ways, Hyde towards his bedroom to grab some things to change into after a shower, and Gala to the kitchen to start on making some dinner for both of them. Gala pulled out some ingredients to start on some homemade pasta and tomato sauce for dinner, bringing out his special assortment of spices and herbs to season it with. After a while, dinner was ready and Hyde came back in some comfortable clothes, sitting at the dinner table with Gala as the two started eating and sharing a meal together.
"Hey Hyde…" Gala asked, his mouth somewhat full of pasta, "Why is it that when you talk about the past, or us, or even me, you end up blushing at it." Hyde choked a bit on his food, his eyes widened, and his face flushed. "I… well… it's hard to say Gala." Gala nodded, swallowing the food he held in his mouth. "Hyde… we have known each other for so long now that… I want us to be open with each other. After all we have seen the best and worst of each other for a long time now. Hell… I even was there for you when your wife died long ago…" A look of sorrow flashed across his face, Hyde remembers his wife and that he missed her at times, but he had changed so much since she had gone. He couldn't even bring himself to tell her that he was now immortal as he watched her grow older from age alone. He frowned for a bit before answering him, "I know… I have been open with you in everything, it's just… My feelings right now are more difficult to explain. I promise I don't hate you in any way." Gala tilted his head to the side, "Then why do you blush when we talk about certain things?" He took a double take at Gala's question, and on cue his face flushed slightly. "I… that's one of the things I am still figuring out…" "What is there to figure out exactly?" Gala asked, his eyes focused on Hyde as he waited for his answer. "Well… I suppose it goes back to my past a bit… again." Hyde replied, trying to find the words to continue. "There have been some feelings I have been feeling for a while now. It's been hard to describe them but, I have just been wanting to make sure that I know what it is before I… act on it." Gala chuckled and grinned at his words. "Well… it sounds like someone has caught your eye after all these years. Do you happen to have a crush on someone Hyde?" "Gala… don't make me say something now that I will regret later if it is something that will make you… feel differently about me." "I could never feel another way about you Hyde even if right now you told me you hated me." A boisterous chuckle left Hyde's throat as he grabbed his stomach due to how much it pained him to laugh this hard. "I could never hate you, Gala. In fact, I don't think I could even if I tried." "Then what, pray tell, is it that has gotten you so worked up you can't tell a dear friend of years what's going on?" Hyde flashed him a small smirk before finishing up his food, standing from the table, and grabbing his dishes. "I promise you Gala, I will tell you when I am ready to. I also promise it isn't as bad as I know you think it is…" Gala raised an eyebrow at his response, wondering why he still chose to keep it secret still and if its not something bad, why keep it to himself. Who did Hyde now have some sort of feelings for? He shrugged it off as Hyde went to the sink to wash his dishes. The two finished their meals and Gala soon stood up as Hyde was still washing his. He walked up behind him, their bodies suddenly close, and his breath tickled his ear as Gala spoke low into his ear. "Hey, you mind washing this for me? I want to go ahead and take my shower since you already took yours…" Hyde's face flushed deeply. His head lowered as he gently took the dishes from his hand, nodding in response to his question. Gala smiled, not noticing his blushing face from behind and took his leave, the shower in the bathroom soon turning on. Hyde finished the dishes and dried his hands on a nearby towel. He took to his room and picked up a book to take his mind off it.
His mind got enveloped in the book's story. A romance novel about ill-fated loves, the classic troupe of two people that knowingly loved each other deeply yet couldn't be together due to a plethora of reasons. Page after page he read, suddenly hearing a knock on his door. "Come in!" He replied, lowering his book to see what Gala could want. He walked into his room; water still freshly beaded on his body as it glimmered between each cut crease on his muscular frame. Nothing but a towel donned his waist as he had a smaller one drying the hair on his head. Hyde tried to keep it together, keeping his eyes on Gala's and careful not to stray any lower than his neck. His heartbeat wildly in his chest before realizing he hadn't said a word yet since he entered the room. "Um… yeah! What did you need, Gala?" "You got any of that cologne left? I didn't realize I ran out of mine and I have to go out and get more on my next day off of work." Hyde shook his head in confusion, "C-… cologne? You just want to wear my cologne after a shower?" Gala nodded and smiled at him, "Yeah, what can I say? I like to smell my best and you always smell good in it so, I thought I would try it since mine ran out." Hyde blushed lightly, slowly standing from his bed and walking to the dresser where his bottle of deep floral musk cologne sat, picking it up and walking to where he stood. Gala smiled, closing his eyes and holding his arms out as he waited. When he closed his eyes, Hyde took the opportunity to really get a good look at him up close. Trailing his eyes slowly down his body as he took in his defined shoulders, the hair resting between his large and firm pecs. His gaze stopped before the towel tightly wrapped around him, Gala's voice ringing out to break him out of his staring spell. "What's the hold up man?... I only need a couple of sprays…" "Right…", Hyde cleared his throat, spraying a few sprits of smell good spray onto his body. "Ok… I'm done…" Gala's eyes opened, giving him a kind smile and patting him on the back. "Thanks man, I owe you one." Hyde chuckled, looking down from his gaze. "It was literally just a few sprays of cologne; you don't have to repay me for that." After a last thank you from Gala, he left Hyde in his room again. Hyde sat on the edge of his bed, cupping his face as his cheeks grew hot from what he just saw. The feelings stirring inside of him were different and new. He had never felt this way about someone since he first met his now ex-wife. It physically as well as mentally hurt him to hold himself back from the thoughts he carried of Gala. It also scared him that if he were to ever act on such fantasies, that he would never forgive himself and ruin the great friendship they had if Gala had turned out to hate him doing so. A deep sigh left his mouth as he plopped back onto the bed, looking up at the ceiling in utter unrest. He slowly climbed his body up the bed and climbed under the covers, closing his eyes and forcing himself to go to sleep, soon drifting off to sleep.
The next morning, Hyde was awakened by a delicious smell coming from the kitchen. He awoke, yawning and stretching as he left his bedroom and entered the living room, watching Gala make a large stack of pancakes for both of them for breakfast. Hyde smiled at the gesture, "Gala, you always seem to be cooking something delicious for us all the time. You never give me a chance to cook for you at all." Gala deeply chuckled at his remark early this morning, "And ruin those pretty model hands of yours? I have enough scars for the both of us, plus, I don't mind." Hyde took his seat at the table, his face red from the small compliment he made towards his hands. He smiled looking at his palms from underneath the table. His attention was broken by the clang of a plate in front of him, Gala had served him his food, asking "What you looking at?" "N-nothing!" Hyde replied, his eyes slightly widened, and his face riddled with disorientation. He cleared his throat and sat up straight, grabbing his fork and knife and smiling at the man before him. "Nothing, just lost in thought is all… This looks great!" He dug in, happy hums leaving him as he chews. His hums cause Gala to smile at him as he sat across from him and digging into his plate as well. His stack of pancakes was quite large due to his insatiable appetite. The two spent the morning quietly enjoying each other's company along with the good food, before getting up and getting dressed to go to their respective jobs. As Hyde was getting dressed in his room, nothing but his pants on as he zipped and buckled them up, Gala barged in without knocking. Hyde's body jumped in response before turning to him. His eye's noticed Gala's was lingering a bit low on his chest as he looked at him. "You been working out?" Gala asked, giving Hyde a sly smirk. "I… have been working out here and there… nothing too serious." Hyde averted his gaze, trying to keep himself from blushing to much at his remark, feeling his piercing gaze still on him. "Nice… You look good…" Gala said, before chuckling nervously as his hand ran its fingers through his hair on the back of his head. "I came in here again for some more of that cologne if you don't mind that is…" Hyde shook his head no, walking over and grabbing the bottle, bringing it back to him and spraying his body with it. "Good?" Hyde asked, holding the bottled up in case he wanted more. "Yeah, this should do… I'll go ahead and head out now, I'll see you later on after work. That is if you are still awake that is." Hyde nodded, waving goodbye to him as he left, soon getting ready afterwards and taking his time, a smile on his lips due to how happy he was that Gala was going around smelling just like him.
Hours had passed and Hyde came home and opened the door and to no surprise Gala hadn't made it home yet. He set his keys down and took off his shoes, carrying them to his room before getting undressed. He lingered as he undressed, feeling that in this moment he could freely think what he wanted about Gala without him having to know. His eyes closed as he felt his own fingers trail along his body as he slid his shirt off, imagining that they were Gala's big rough hands doing so. His face flushed as he continued to fantasize about it all. He soon was bare naked and walked himself to the bathroom they both shared, carrying a change of clothes with him as this time he drew a hot bath to soak in for a while. The hot water filled the bath slowly, steaming the room as Hyde looked at himself in the mirror, picturing what would happen if Gala was standing right behind him. What kind of sinful activities he could do if he was here, what he wanted to do if he could know just how he felt about him. His desire for him burning even brighter with each day that passed. The tub soon filled up, and Hyde turned the knob off. He climbed in and allowed the hot water of the bath to caress him. His eyes closed as he tried to relax after a long day, but he just ended up finding himself thinking of nothing but Gala. Specifically, the other day when he walked into his room with nothing but his towel on. Thinking about what Gala had to be packing under that towel made his own member firmer just thinking about it. He couldn't stop his hands as they started to trail again. His long-pointed fingernails drifting down his neck slowly, reaching his chest, before ultimately disappearing under the water and gripping his now half erect member as he blushed. He wished for nothing more for this hand of his to be Gala's wanting to please him as much as he wanted to return the favor. His breath hitched as he started to move, stroking himself slowly under the water as his breath sped up slightly. His sounds leaving him like breathless whispers. "Fuck… Gala…"
Gala sighed deeply, there was an influx of new cases coming into the hospital more each day. The new fury sedative that was regulated already had black market dupes that were riddled with illegal substances, causing the werewolves in the city to get insanely sick. He was finally done with his shift as he walked up the stairs to get home and take a much-needed shower before bed. He silently opened the door and stepped inside, careful not to make any noise in case Hyde was in bed sleeping by now. He silently made his way to his bedroom, placing his things down and removing his shirt, showing the sculpted body of his along with the wefts of hair on his chest. Hyde had no clue about his presence as he continued, stroking himself faster causing the water to move and splash a bit around him. Soft whimpers left his lips as he continued and those small, slight sounds made Gala raise an eyebrow in the direction of the wall that separated his room from the bathroom. He walked closer, trying to see if Hyde was actually awake after all. As he pressed his ear to the wall to see if he could hear water moving, in that moment he heard Hyde softly moan out. "Yes… Gala… stroke me like that…" Gala's face turned beet red at what he had just heard. He never realized that Hyde could ever feel that way about him and it answered a lot of his questions about why Hyde was blushing so much around him lately. "So… this is what he needed to figure out, huh?" he muttered under his breath. His eyes were still wide as he now realized Hyde was pleasuring himself to his image. He couldn't help but walk out of his bedroom to listen right outside the bathroom door. He knew he shouldn't invade Hyde's personal moment like this but, for just a moment, he wanted to hear how he really felt about him. Hyde continued his sinful actions, the water now splashing around him at the speed his hand was moving, his moans now becoming more prominent as they rung through the bathroom walls. "Ah… Gala… I'm going to…" Hyde moaned out, his breath quick and shallow as he came closer and closer to climax. Gala stood at the door still, his face blushing even deeper as he continued listening to him. His own body grew hotter, and he swallowed hard trying to control himself. He started to feel himself get more excited hearing him moan his name like that so freely. Hyde let out a lasting lustful moan, releasing into the bath. He took a moment to breathe, his face blushing as he lay back and kept his eyes closed in silence for a bit. Gala no longer heard him, so he shook his head and silently and quickly hurried to his room, sitting on the bed and thinking about what just happened and what he was possibly going to say to this. He wondered if he should say anything about it, but a part of him felt guilty to keep that he listened in to himself. He heard the bathroom door open and close again, and another door closing as well as he was now sure Hyde made his way back to his bedroom to get dressed again. Gala took a long deep breath before standing to leave his own room, quietly making his way to the kitchen to get dinner started for the both of them. Hyde left his room again, his eyes wide as he saw the back of the shirtless Gala in front of him. "Gala… when did you get back?" he asked, his face slowly turning redder by the second. Gala kept his back turned as he cooked. "I just got back… dinner will ready soon."
