A hero's name says many things about him or her. And when Izuku goes to change his, he does not expect to run into a classmate or talk about the days past. But as the present becomes the future, the start of new changes will bring new joy and pain to his life. And becoming the next number one hero may add more.

A young man travels from home to Japan, in hopes of leaving behind his past. The change is a challenge as he's neither fluent in Japanese nor know their customs well. He takes a job at a construction company to make ends meet and befriends his bosses daughter who learns why he moved in the first place. Takes place in the 2nd year of U.A.

Izuku midoriya was always fascinated with sickness. whenever he fell sick, he always wondered what was happening. when he got his quirk he finally found out. Izuku with a plague manipulation quirk. slighhtly darker, somewhat OP! izuku. mild body horror.

"Please…" The woman pleaded, inching her foot closer to the edge. The child, possessed of an uncanny understanding, refused again and tugged the woman back toward the rooftop.
