A what if story set during the episode 'Man of Steel' - what if the RV had recognised Clark as an intruder when he snuck in during Lois' chat with Marcus Bridgewater (AKA John Henry Irons). The resulting changes in events set about a very different direction for the characters and brings up memories of Lex Luthor's history with Clark and Lois.

Clark and Jordan return home after their flight-training in the fortress and happily tell Jonathan about what they did! But Jonathan still remembers his father's promise in the barn. Or: How the barn-scene should have really ended!
