Victoire Delacour is a childhood friend of Seto Kaiba, a boy with a flair for blue-eyed dragons. A chance meeting as children at a party hosted by Seto's adopted father, Gozaburo Kaiba, sets the course for more between the two friends.

1. Introduction

Yu-Gi-Oh, its characters, and all familiar plotlines belong to the late Kazuki Takahashi and his writers. I only own Victoire and anything not shown in the show.

This story is rated M for Mature. The Maiden with Eyes of Blue will contain mature sexual content, adult themes, graphic depictions of violence, and elements not otherwise suitable for some readers. Readers that squirm or scoff at the concept of arranged marriages of adolescents, reincarnation, and soulmates should click out now.

The Maiden with Eyes of Blue has been revised since I didn't like how I had the original version. There were discrepancies in some of the timeline I had created and couldn't go back and edit without causing some confusion to the readers. That's why I took it down, went over it, then republished it. Also, to keep the confusion down upon rereading, the OC's original name was Ginerva Salvatore. Ginerva has been completely changed and renamed to Victoire Delacour.

I chose this name over sticking with the original choice because of the meaning. Victoire as a name means 'Victory' and Delacour means 'Of the Court', which hints at my OC's past life in Ancient Egypt as Kisara and her involvement with Seto Kaiba's past incarnation, Priest Seto.
