A Simple Time Together For Four Friends
It started like any other morning for Sakura Kinomoto, a young girl who lives in the town of Tomoeda. To many, she's just an ordinary everyday schoolgirl, but she has a secret whom only some of her friends knows about.
She has special magical powers and Sakura is usually, she is busy collecting cards for a small animal-like guardian, named Kerebros. Well, because of his current state, Sakura called him 'Kero'. On this day, Sakura had plans to meet up with her friends, Tomoyo, Syaroan and Meiling.
However, this morning, Sakura's alarm clock didn't go off.
A bunch minutes later from when she was supposed to wake up, Sakura finally had woke up. "Man," she said but then when she looked at her clock, she screamed, "I'm late!"
She then turned to her some kind of a sidekick, Kero and scolded him. "Kero!" Sakura shouted. "What?" Kero answered. "Did you turn off my alarm clock?!" Sakura asked in a furious tone.
"Yes," Kero answered, "I didn't get any sleep last night, so I thought I'd get some extra sleep. Turning off your alarm did help me." "Kero!" Sakura growled, "Oh, forget it! I'm late!"
"Meeting up with your friends today?" Kero asked. "Yes!" Sakura answered, getting her things together in her backpack, "I promised to meet up with them this morning! And now, thanks to you, I'm late!"
"Ok," Kero replied, "Good luck." "Oh, you're coming this time!" Sakura said. "What?!" Kero replied, surprised. Without another word, Sakura stuffed Kero into her backpack and took off.
She'd said goodbye to her father and kind of said goodbye to her brother, Touya. Well, something like. She'd also said goodbye to her late mother and stormed off outside. "I wonder what she was screaming about," Touya said to himself.
In a few minutes, Sakura finally reached the small park where she'd met up with her friends. "Hey!" Meiling called out. "Sorry!" Sakura called out, "Am I late!" "No way!" Meiling said. There were Sakura's friends, Tomoyo, Meiling and Syaoran.
They, of course know about Sakura's secret magical powers. "Welcome, Sakura," Tomyo said happy to see her friend. "Welcome," Syaoran said, "Glad you could make it." "Someone just meddled with my alarm clock," Sakura answered.
"We understand," Meiling said, "Uh, Sakura, your backpack?" Sakura opened her backpack and Kero bust out, gasping for air. "Man!" Kero groaned, "Try to think the next time you stuff me into a bag like that!"
"I have!" Sakura shouted, "Next time, just let me make my own schedule!" "Only thinking about yourself again?" Syaoran said to Kero, "As always, I know." "Oh, brother," Meiling said disappointingly, "You brought him?" "Yes," Sakura answered, "He's responsible."
"That's why you're so hot and bothered," Meiling said. "Trying not to be," Sakura said, "Anyway, let's just rest for now." "We've earned it," Syaroan said, "So let's enjoy our nice small day out in the park as Tomoyo had arranged for us."
"Yes, that's true," Tomoyo said happily. "Okay," Sakura thought to herself, "Now Tomoyo isn't going all weird." That day, everything had gone peaceful and quiet for the four friends.
They were planning on what they were going to do next.
"So," Sakura said, "What's going on today?" "Other than what happened yesterday?" Syaoran asked. "Yeah, that last Clow Card was unbelievable!" Meiling said. "Yes!" Sakrua replied, "And I had a hard time trying to wake up the next day!"
"Well, that's true," Kero said, "And about today-" "Please don't remind me," Sakura said. "Well," Tomoyo said, "I do have plans to go with my mom to meet up with some important people." "Where?" Meiling asked.
"My mom hasn't worked out the details yet," Tomoyo explained. "Okay," Meiling said, "I'm planning on going back to Hong Kong someday." "Thanks for telling us, Meiling," Sakura said, "We'll keep in-" "Not now, though," Meiling said, "Someday."
"All right, I understand," Syaoran said, "Just keep it cool. Don't go overboard." "Right," Meiling said. "And we'll make plans for the future," Tomoyo said happily. "But for now," Syaoran said, "Let's enjoy today."
"I'm with you on that," Sakura said, "But there are some things that we should do." "I know," Tomoyo said. "I've got to find the remaining Clow Cards," Sakura said, "I'll keep an eye out for them."
"Okay," Tomoyo said, "I'll make more outfits for you then and I'll film you!" "Oh dear," everyone else groaned. "I'm used to Tomoyo's habit," Sakura smiled, "She's my friend." "Thanks," Tomoyo blushed.
"So, let's just enjoy our day together," Sakura said at last. "We will," Syaoran and Meiling said together. "I'm with you!" Kero said excitedly. "We'll see with you," Syaoran said doubtfully.
Soon, it was time for everyone's lunch. They've all got plans and were going to keep in touch with each other. "For now," Syaoran said, "Let's have fun together." "Right," Sakura and Meiling agreed.
"Uh, Kero," Tomoyo said, pointing out Kero's actions. "What?" Kero replied.
Right now, Kero is shamelessly eating Sakura's lunch out of her backpack. "AHHHH!" Sakura screamed, "KERO! My lunch!" "Oh no," Syaoran groaned. "Aw," Tomoyo said, "I've made something special for Kero, too."
It was lucky for the four friends and somewhat of an guardian that there were no Clow Cards going wild that day.
So, everyone is happy together. "What?!" Kero replied, "I don't matter?!"
