This was inspired by something's my friend Kaley and I came up with after the latest issue of Shocket and Itsy revealed some things especially PetervQuill being Shocket's genetic mother and we started imagining Shocket calling him Mommy Quill and we crack up everytime we mention it, I'm not a Quill and Rocket shipper, I see them as friends especially after Volune 3, I ship Lylla and Rocket hardxore along with Shocket and Itsy just to make things clear if I put this on Archive of Our Own.
So this story, is set after Shocket has her blood transfusion where Quill gives her some of his blood likecRocket did but recovering having quiteca feast in a diner on Wondergore and she calling Quill mommy stuns him until Rocketvexplaibs
What did she just call me." Quill asked Rocket a tad surprised.
"Hi mommy Quill." Shocket said sitting down to eat
It was a few weeks after everything had happened and the blood transfusion had been successful with Quill giving Shocket some of his blood but he had no idea he was Shocket's genetic mother because Tivon had spliced some of his genes with Rocket's which had surprised yet delighted Rocket but had told Shocket which delighted the female-kit to have a mommy of sorts noticihg Rocket sas enjoying this glaring at him as they were in a diner on Wondergore after she'd woken up so was super-hungry after being asleep for so long making Rocket chuckle at his girl's voracious appetite impressing Peter guessing being in a coma made you hungry seeing her eating messily which was kinda cute as Rocket was recording this on his phone.
"You're my genetic mommy, mommy Quill you gave me some of you just not the stuff that annoys others." Shocket told him drinkijg coffee as she missed being with her loved ones including Itsy plus their kits realising Quill would be their grand-mommy
"Ohhhh just enjoy it, that one of my kits likes you and is calling you mommy, since RJ hates you so taje the win, mommy and she just woje up from a coma so humour her." Rocket told him.
"It makes you happy, Rocket." Peter said seeingvShocket sleepy in a wheelchair makijg him and Rocket exchangea look tapping her furry shoulder gently seeing her stir noticing concerned looks on their faces.
"You zoned out honey, and this is why you gotta taje it easy when you and Itsy get home to Schism." Rocket said to her noticing Peter looked worried too, surprising her as she thought he was mad
He then was writing his number on an napkin handing it to the female-kit.
"If you want me to be your mommy, I guess I'm your genetic mommy, Rocket stop laughing." Peter said as Shocket was putting it into her phone feeling weak seeing Itsy join them, hugging her smirking seeing Rocket snorting in laughter guessing what that was about asking Shocket how she was feeling.
"Okay I guess but giving my tummy food." Shocket replied seeing her grin kissing her making Rocket smile at his daughters in law.
"Oi Rocket, remember us." they heard Teefs say as he and Floor came up to their table astounding Quill seeing Rocket paw-bump them grinning as he'd hadn't seen them in a lojg while telling them about things plus were hearing Shocket telling Itsy Quill was her mom seeing her nod, knowing this was true but was holding Mocket who had her assasin cybernetics removed relieving her, because Itsy had told her, what Mocket had tried to do to her while she'd been sleeping so Rocket had taken her to Shuri removing the assassin-mode from her.
"Ssshhhhh Shocket, you need to rest up." she said to her, wheeling her to the infirmary making Peter sigh, hearing Teefs, Floor abd Rocket at a table laughing hysterically deciding to wait until Shocket woke up, plus could talk to her on the phone when he was back on Earth
"Ugh, I hate these meds, but have to take them to help my body recover." Shocket complained as Itsy was giving her the meds Herbert had prescribed his grand-daughter after the blood-transfusion plus Rocke was worried about her astounding Quill seeing Shocket smile at him explaining to Rocke that Quill was her genetic mommy which made him grin, at this addition to their unique family.
"I know honey but you have to taje this stuff, to get better, and we want you to get better plus the kits were asking if you can come home plus we can introduce them to Mocket." Itsy told her only Quill noticed the stitches and scars which made him just as concerned like when the Guardians went to Orgoscope and had seen Rocket's blueprints feeling bad for the kit guessing it was okay if she called him mommy.
"Ssshhhhh let her fest, as she's still recovering." Itsy told him stroking Shocket's mohawk gently.
He then stroked behihd her furrybear feeling it was very soft hearing soft purrs from Shocket which were relaxing him and Itsy as Herbert checked on her saying she was stable but would rest up, once she was home on Schism seeing Itsy nodding, knowing she'd nurse her to health only Rocket noticed Peter looked a little sad hearing this.
"Relax she's not leaving here forca while." he told hij patting his shoulder but was by his lil girl's side which he fouhd cute and jealous that RJ never was like this with him so mayge Shocket making him her mommy wasn'tvsonbas after all plus they could talk on the phone once he returned to Earth but Rocket understood knowingva very sweet thing was beginning.
