"Getting caught, really?! And the injuries, how careless could you be!"

"I…," Senji trailed off. It had been a few weeks, filled with interrogations and debriefing for the old lady in front of her. All For One had been captured, but there were hundreds of casualties from the fight. All Night's condition had also been made public, and there were video leaks of her desperate scramble. She had purposely altered her form from the one her classmates had seen, but it looked too much like the form she used while sneaking around the city or doing side rescues. The media was running wild with new fuel to the old vigilante rumors, and if UA had lied about the missing student count.

"Boss, this ain't fixing anything," Hawks, who had been on damage control, tried to deescalate the situation.

"I told you before, she wasn't cut out for this," Eraser butted in too. His comment drove Senji further into despair. She clenched her jaw tight and stared at the floor, willing her tears away.

"She technically succeeded, too," Hawks again tried to bring the commissioner back to reason. The three argued for a while over Senji, but she stopped listening. Only when the old lady left did she look up. She looked toward Hawks, who flashed her a goofy smile before his expression hardened again. He left just after the commissioner, leaving her with only Eraser.

"Let's go," he put a hand on her shoulder and spoke softly.

He had been beside her in the hospital when she woke up, and kept her close while performing other duties. As a teacher, and her legal guardian during the investigation. He didn't have any harsh words for her directly, but some of what he said stung anyway. She followed him to a car, which took them to school grounds where they met up with All Might.

The rest of the day was spent going from home to home, with the two teachers discussing UA's plans going forward. Senji waited in the car for almost all of them. At the Bakugo residence, she shrank into the seat while waiting. She hadn't spoken to Mitsuki since their fight, and wasn't sure how Bakugo felt about the things revealed in that bar. She was pulled out of her head by Eraser opening the door and telling her to get out. She'd be going with All Might to the next stop: the Midoriyas.

She approached the skeletal hero, and stopped short. Bakugo had rushed out to talk to him, and she didn't want to deal with him yet. He glanced at her on the way back inside, but said nothing. The taxi ride to the Midoriyas was incredibly awkward, with All Might attempting and failing miserably at small talk. Once they climbed the steps to the apartment, Senji apologized and told him she'd wait outside. She plopped down beside the door and dozed off, snapping awake from another nightmare.

Just in time, it seemed, as the hero stepped out from the apartment. He glanced down at her, then helped her stand up. She used her quirk to hide her missing arm, under a hoodie. Inko rushed out and held her tightly, a new wave of tears pouring out. Izuku apologized on her behalf and ushered the two inside.

"Sorry, Mrs. Midoriya. Izuku," Senji patted the woman's back, and was released from the death grip. She wasn't sure how much they were told about her situation, so she didn't know where to start.

"Did you meet with the teachers?," Izuku took the initiative for a conversation. He seemed relieved to see her, and like he wanted to ask her some things. She sat down on the couch, and he joined her while Inko moved to the kitchen.

"Well, one of them is, y'know," Senji tried to laugh, but her voice caught in a weird way.

"Right, Aizawa."

"He…wasn't exactly happy to find out about this. Sorry for making you keep it a secret," Senji apologized so sincerely that Izuku panicked for a second.

"I-it's fine! Really."

"Right. Um, I'll be moving to the dorms. But I can't stay with him right now, so," she glanced at Inko, who nodded to show her understanding. Izuku talked casually with her for a while, and the rest of the evening was pretty well back to normal. Senji was glad, and stressed by it at the same time.

The next few weeks Senji spent still recovering from her wounds. Just like Bakugo, she wasn't technically allowed to leave the house. She was pretty well glued to her laptop or phone. Watching videos of the fight, the damage, and seeing the comments on anything that showed her monstrous form. Mitsuki had blown up her phone once her son was returned safely, too.

She had told Izuku she'd be returning to school, but that was an issue that was still in contention with various parties. She stuck to long sleeve shirts at home, only letting her scales rest while in the bathroom or home alone. She didn't have to hide her arm, it would have been easy to explain away as an injury at the camp. But she didn't want to deal with that at the moment either, so she resolved to keep this up until a suitable prosthetic could be made and fitted. That would take some time.
