Writers Notes: Hope everyone is having a great week! I appreciate all of you guys so much! I have another story coming out soon and hope everyone is looking forward to it. Damon looked at the ultrasound picture of the Quads that Bella was carrying. He couldn't believe that she was pregnant again and he worried about her, but he learned to keep those sorts of worries to himself. "Everything is healthy?" He asked Bella, his blue eyes looking up from the picture to look at her.

Bella smiled at her dad. "They are. All of them." She sipped her tea. They were at the Grill at the moment, waiting on her mom to meet them. "I promise that I'm happy and healthy. The girls are doing great, Elijah, Klaus and Kol are great. Dad… I truly am… happy."

Damon smiled and reached a hand over and lay it on hers. "I'm happy if you're happy. I love you. More than you know."

"I know." Bella said and then smiled at her mom when she walked up. "Hey mom." She greeted and Renee leaned over and kissed her daughter's cheek.

"Sorry I'm late. I was driving from Mckinney." Renee said as she sat beside Damon.

"It's okay." Bella said and took another drink of her tea.

"Let me see these babies." Renee said and took the ultrasound picture from Damon. She smiled. "Oh Bella…"She teared up. "I'm so proud of you." She murmured and looked at her daughter. "You're doing so amazing."

"Thank you mom." Bella said, tearing up a little herself. She felt the happiest she had ever felt in her life and that was because she was in a healthy relationship with Elijah, Kol and Klaus. She couldn't ask for better partners in her life. She wiped the tear that fell down her face. "Um. So, how is Caroline? I haven't see her the last couple days."

Renee nodded. "She's okay. She's adjusting well to the life. Probably the best vampire there is. But her and Tyler are on the outs again. So that's been hard."

"Can't Tyler be a normal boyfriend?" Bella asked, raising a brow.

"Well, you know now your cousin can be."

Damon rolled his eyes. "Yes, he is a little playboy." He said and then his phone rang. He pulled it from his pocket and frowned when he saw the screen. "Stefan is calling me…" he murmured.

"Answer it." Bella said.

Damon answered the phone. "Hello brother."

"Ah, Damon. I thought perhaps you wouldn't answer my call."

"Well, when you call I generally do answer. Where are you?"

"I'm visiting Mystic Falls again. Thought I would drop in and see my niece and great nieces."

Damon frowned and so did Bella. "Stefan-"

"Relax Damon. I'm not going to hurt the children. I wouldn't dream of it." Stefan said, his tone sarcastic.

"Why don't you meet me at the boarding house. We need to talk."

"I don't think so."

"Elena, would like for you to stop by the boarding house." Damon insisted.

"Elena is dead Damon."

"She's alive you moron. You just jump to conclusions and ran off before anyone could tell you anything." Damon said, his voice low, but curt.

There was silence on the other end and then Stefan hung up.

"Dammit."

"Klaus is at home with the girls. Dad, he won't let Uncle Stefan in the house. Besides the house is deeded to the housekeeper who is human and she would have to invite Stefan inside for him to even be able to get near the girls. He wouldn't… he wouldn't hurt them… would he?"

Damon shook his head. "I don't know Bella. He's got his switch flipped. He's highly unpredictable like this. The killings stopped or at least he started hiding his kills. Last I heard was he was on the West coast. So, he must have made it back this way without any of my spies knowing." He sighed and ran a hand over his hair. "I don't know why he's back to terrorize us. Especially you. That doesn't even begin to make sense."

"Because I'm your daughter and because he thought Elena was killed because of me." Bella said and shook her head. "Elena and Jasper are mated, he's not going to be happy with that. There is no way he flips his switch back when he learns of that."

"You're right." Damon said and closed his eyes. "Okay. I'm going to call Jasper and Elena. Explain what is happening." He opened his eyes and looked at Bella. "I'll handle this. Don't stress about anything. You need to stay calm for the babies." He said and stood, making Renee stand as well and let him out of the booth. Damon kissed Renee softly then leaned over and kissed the top of Bella's head. "I love you both." He said and then he left to go back to the boarding house.

Bella was worried. Stefan was back and vampires were dangerous with their switch flipped.

"It's going to be okay sweetie." Renee said softly, putting her hand over her daugther's hand. "Your dad will make sure Stefan doesn't do anything drastic."

"I know." Bella murmured and her icy eyes met her mom's. "I just hope that dad can convince Uncle Stefan to flip his switch back. It hurts my heart to see him like this."

Renee nodded. "I know honey."

Elena looked at Jasper and then back at Damon. "You want me to pretend to want him back? To convince him to flip his switch back on? Damon, I can't do that. It would be too painful."

"He's a danger Elena." Damon said and sighed. "Stefan… is unpredictable and he's singled out Bella for his anger because he believed you died because of her. Bella is pregnant with the Quads and then the Quints… I need to keep them safe."

"Why not trap him in the basement?" Jasper asked, rubbing a hand over Elena's back to calm her. "Eventually he'll flip his switch back on. He can't stay like this forever."

Damon shook his head. "Imprisoning him isn't going to be effective. He has to flip his switch on for love. And he loved Elena before he thought she died. It's the reason he flipped his switch in the first place."

Jasper looked at Elena. "Darling, Damon is right. This is probably going to be the best way."

Elena closed her eyes and hugged her arms around herself. "I don't know. I know if doesn't make sense. I was so in love with him, but I just… it's hard to even think about being in love with him anymore. I can't remember what that feeling was because I love Jasper. He is my mate and my other half, so to think about even pretending to love Stefan still… it hurts my heart."

"I know." Damon said with a nod. "You have no idea how much I understand that. The pain of loving your mate and pretending to love another or in the very least, trying to move on from your mate. But that fact is, Stefan is dangerous. I can't deal with him by myself. If I could, then I wouldn't be standing here talking to you about it. I would be handling him. But… I need for my daughter to be safe and my grandchildren. This is important."

Elena looked at Jasper and Jasper gave her a little nod. She looked back at Damon. "Okay." She shrugged a little. "I'll try."

"Thank you. That's all I ask." Damon said softly.

Klaus crossed his arms, frowning. "Stefan is back in Mystic Falls? That doesn't make sense. I thought he was in California." He said, looking at Bella.

"Well, dad said that he must have slipped the spies. He's supposed to be going to the Boarding House to talk to dad and Elena. He told Uncle Stefan that Elena was alive and that she needed to talk to him."

"Hmm. Making him flip his switch will be tricky. I could compel him to flip it back on, but sometimes it can be a little harder to make someone with their switch flipped, to do what you need them to do." Klaus said and then ran a hand through his hair. "For now, I want you to stay here. If Stefan is angry at you because of Elena and if he finds out that she is mated to Jasper then he could lash out even more and blame you still."

Bella nodded. She understood that she needed to be safe, now more than ever. "I know. I just hope that dad and Elena can convince him to flip his switch again. At least then when he has his humanity, he can be reasoned with."

"Hopefully. I'll go to the boarding house. Just to help. It's the least I can do." He said and then he went to her, leaning in and kissing her softly. "Elijah and Kol will be here. Rose is upstairs with the girls and Bonnie. I'll be back as soon as I can. I love you."

"I love you too. Be careful."

Klaus smirked a little. "I'm always careful my love." He said and kissed her again, before he left to help Damon at the boarding house.
