After grabbing Roquefort's passkey, the quartered reunited with Peppermint, Macaron, Korsica, and CNMN, who came in through the door after the Head of Finance was beaten. They amassed at the door which would lead to Kale's office to prepare.

"Kale is plotting, and much smarter than us, especially Mister Chai! We should be ready." CNMN advised.

"I should be confident, but… I'm worried." Macaron sighed.

"Hey, everyone. Vibe check," Chai announced. "Macaron, I need you to be positive for this one! Peppermint, it'll be hard, but don't let emotion get in the way. Korisica, I can count on you to be level-headed about this. And CNMN, keep…doing…whatever you're doing."

"You know, I like this new Chai! He's quite come around, hasn't he?" Macaron asked.

"Yeah! Hard to believe he used to be someone who just wanted to do things on his own." Hilda said.

"So, let's prep, everyone," Chai said.

The group took some time to get ready. Connor himself took some time to speak to his client, Peppermint.

"Thanks again for tipping me off about this whole thing." Connor thanked.

"No, you've got it backward. Thanks for taking my job offer." Peppermint said. "I knew if anybody was gonna take this, it'd be you, money involved or not."

"Sometimes, it ain't about getting paid for me." Connor said. "So, you gonna be okay starin' your brother down?"

"There's probably nothing I can say to change his mind. All I really want to know is where my mom is…" Peppermint said.

"Yeah, I wanna know what happened to her too. The story is she retired suddenly and handed everything to Kale." Connor said.

"Technically. But, ever since Kale took over the company, it's like she dropped off the map. I have a feeling he knows where she is." Peppermint said,

"We'll get the answers outta him one way or another. Then we make him pay." Connor said. "Still, can't believe it's the end of the road here. Honestly, hard to believe you and Chai have got this close as friends since we all met up."

"Looking at all the things we've been through with him… I'm sorry… Things started out rough between all of us." Peppermint said.

"Hey, we've all got problems." Chai piped in. "Can't say I made a good first impression either. We kinda sanded down each other's sharp edges, I guess."

"Uncharitaristicaly introspective, Chai. Maybe you HAVE changed." Peppermint replied.

"Who knows? Maybe there'll come a day where you start actin' like Chai and do something heroically irresponsible." Connor quipped.

"Heh… May have to wait a bit longer for that," Peppermint replied.

After the conversation, everyone approached the door behind Roquefort's desk.

"Ready guys? Let's get Kale's Passkey and shut SPECTRA down." Connor said.

"Roquefort's private elevator will take us to Kale's office. Everyone get on." Korsica instructed.

(Cue: Confrontation - Hi-Fi Rush OST)

After getting on the elevator, it was tense as the entire group climbed to the top.

"This is it, everyone," Chai said.

"I can't believe it…" Peppermint said.

"Betcha didn't think we'd still be hanging out, Peppermint," Chai said.

"Nope, and I didn't think we'd be teaming up with Vandelay's own staff, either." Peppermint replied.

"This was definitely not in my weekly schedule." Korsica noted.

"Uhh… Are we sure we're gonna be OK?" Macaron asked.

"I have learned much from Mister Chai, and you, sir, must 'chill out'." CNMN piped in.

"Chai?" Peppermint asked.

"Yeah?" Chai asked.

"Chai… I DO trust you. And Connor, and Hilda and Lysithea too. You all know that, right?" Peppermint continued.

"None of us couldn't have made it this far on our own." Connor assured.

"That's for sure." Chai agreed.

"Now arriving at Kale Vandelay's office." LU-C1LLE said through the intercom as the elevator stopped.

"Get ready," Chai said as everyone had their weapons ready.

"It's just you and us, Kale. And nothing's gonna come between us." Peppermint said.

The elevator doors then flew open and everyone rushed inside. But everyone stopped in their tracks when the first thing they saw was…

"Mom?" Peppermint asked in shock.

Indeed, there was Roxanne Vandelay, right in front of everyone's faces.

"Peppermint?" Roxanne asked as she turned to the group as Lysithea noticed something.

"You're here?" Peppermint asked.

"I never left." Roxanne said as Peppermint began approaching before Lysithea stopped her.

"Everyone, wait. Look at her eyes." Lysithea said as everyone saw that Roxanne's eyes had a dullness to them.

Connor then realized what was going on. "Peppermint, wait stop! It's a-!"

Roxanne's necklace then turned red before everyone was trapped behind some sort of barrier, too little too late.

"..Trap." Connor finished.

"And that's as far as you'll come," Roxanne said.

"Has Kale no shame? Using SPECTRA on his mother?" Lysithea asked.

"Kale's finest work," Roxanne said. "And able to seduce even the most…"

"...stubborn of minds," Kale said as he soon walked in.

"You used it on your own mother?!" Korsica asked.

"Well, how else could I have gotten this job? I wasn't Mommy's favorite." Kale said.

"Let her go!" Peppermint demanded.

"I know you probably think SPECTRA is nefarious, but I disagree. It's simply nudging people into the Vandelay ecosystem." Kale said.

"Wait. so you're telling me that you're planning to use an overly complex AI System Capable of mind control, supercharged by a Vambrace containing a 500-year-old supposed deity… just so you can convince all the consumers outfitted with Armstrong tech to buy your products?!" Hilda asked in disbelief. "That's gotta be the worst evil villain scheme I've ever heard!"

"Do you have ANY idea how difficult it is to make something people actually want to buy? It's ridiculously hard!" Kale retorted. "Hey, a new whatever! Well, what color? What model? Size? Speed? Do I need it? All that stress—gone! Because we'll subconsciously make that decision for you."

"Taking away your own buyer's free will? That's basically enslaving them!" Connor said.

"I'm freeing them! With the truth of having a better life." Kale replied.

"This is so… corporate," Chai said.

"I know, right? But look at you, wanting a brand-new Project Armstrong enhancement to become a… 'rockstar.' Ugh. You're NOTHING without my technology. You bought into it, and you'll help bring even more customers." Kale said to Chai, before turning to Connor. "And then there's you. The 'World's Strongest Gunman', thinking you could take on an entire company with just you and two of your own employees. Looks like your luck's run out. Because one way or another, you're gonna be turned over to the World Government, and be exposed as a fraud."

"Project Armstrong was meant to help people. It was moms idea!" Peppermint retorted.

"Well SPECTRA is mine! And look who's in control now. BAM!" Kale boasted. "Time for SPECTRA's wireless test run. Keep an eye on your quartet of buddies, there." he finished, leaving the room.

"No! We're so close!" Chai protested, smashing his guitar against the barrier, which broke to pieces upon contact. Kale's words to Connor then echoed in his head, as he looked at his magnetic grabber with tons of emotion. "I don't know what to do… maybe Kale is right. I'm nothing without this arm."

"Chai, don't let him get to you," Korsica said.

"You and Connor led us here." Macaron added.

"And it's because of who you both are." Peppermint piped in.

"But neither he nor I can get us out of this…" Chai said.

"It's not either of your faults, Mister Chai. It's a Harmonic Force field." CNMN piped in, having inspected the barrier.

"Harmonic… like sound?" Hilda asked.

"Yes. But destroying it requires a huge amount of energy— CNMN said.

"Wait… that's it!" Hilda said. "Connor, remember what you did to get Sonic unstuck between his cyber Limbo?"

"Yeah… it might be the same case here!" Connor realized. "Chai, you may be able to bust us outta this if you synchronize with the frequency of the barrier. I did it once before. You can do it too. It's not over yet."

"Yeah, you're right." Chai agreed, determination in his eyes. "Stand back."

He walked up to the barrier and placed his robotic arm on it, as the spot on the barrier glowed. He then breathed, closed his eyes…and focused.

(Cue: Reflection- Hi-Fi Rush OST)

"Just remember… feel the beat." Chai said to himself as he started synching his own frequency with the barrier, just like what Connor did with Sonic. As he did so, he flashed back to what his group said about him before.

"He may not be slick, but he gets it done." He heard Korsica say in his head.

"You might not see it…." Chai said as he continued to inch his frequency closer.

"I like this new Chai! He's quite come around hasn't he?" Chai remembered what Macaron said earlier.

"But we're in this together…" Chai said, continuing to synchronize with the barrier.

"Chai… I DO trust you. And Connor, and Hilda and Lysithea too. You all know that, right?" He heard peppermint say.

"And I know it now…" Chai said to himself as he was finally able to synchronize with the barrier. "Connor?"

"Yeah, buddy?" Connor asked.

"We don't need guitars." Chai smiled at him. "We ARE rockstars." he declared as the barrier was finally broken, to everyone's shock. Then, Chai reassembled his guitar.

(song fade)

"I thought you said you didn't need a guitar." CNMN pointed out.

"Yeah, but this is much cooler." Chai responded.

"And one other thing. Kale thinks he has me all figured out. He thought I was just aiming to take him down with just me, Hilda, and Lysithea." Connor said. "Well, he was dead wrong."

"What do you mean?" Macaron said.

"Let's just say, that when our fight with Mimosa was broadcasted live… that was the signal to call in the cavalry," Connor said as a familiar ship was soon seen outside Kale's window.

"You just can't stop getting into trouble, can you?" the three of them heard a familiar fly girl's voice over their comms.

Outside in a construction yard below Kale's office, the CEO of the company walked towards an elevator.

"Finally, some peace and quiet." Kale sighed, approaching two mechanic bots. "Someone get me a cortado."

"Uh, coffee machines only putting out decaf, sir." one of the mechanics said.

"WHAT?!" Kale asked in anger before he heard the window of his office shatter, and saw numerous shapes crash down on the ground on the other side of the bridge he just crossed. "And now THIS?"

(Cue: Whirring by The Joy Formidable)

Walking out of the smoke from the crash, were Chai, Peppermint, Macaron, Korsica, and CNMN. Along with them were Connor, Hilda, and Lystithea, who were flanked by the rest of their teammates, putting Team Revival at full strength.

"Yo, Kale! We got beef!" Chai called to the other side of the bridge.

"Okay, screw this!" Kale said, turning to the Mechanic bot. "Do what you need to do. Just stop them," he said before getting onto an elevator. The mechanic then hit a button for the bridge, lifting it and cutting off the path forward.

"Mission Briefing!" Chai announced. "Team, split up, and let's get this jackass."

With that, the entire group split up across the construction yard to find their way forward, the main quartet sticking together to their path.

They scaled across the girders and platforms until reaching a presumable dead end.

"Where do we-?" Chai asked before plasma shots and arrows hit a grate as it came down, revealing the shooters as Peppermint and Ignatz.

"We got you, guys!" Peppermint called.

"Don't stop, keep going!" Ignatz added.

"Alright!" Chai said as they continued onward, the rest of the way to the elevator still blocked.

"This oughta get you guys there!" Travis called as he batted a magnetic grapple point into Chai's reach with his club.

"And we're in!" Chai said, grappling his way to the other side, the others finding their way to the other side. But just as they got there, an ES-101 smashed the elevator controls before engaging the group, flanked by 3 SBRs and 2 GNRs.

By now though, it was easy to deal with any Security bots Vandelay threw at them, and due to their experience, junked both waves sent at them easily.

"Easy route's out of service," Korsica noted.

"Since when did that ever stop us this entire time?" Connor asked.

"Yeah. We'll find a way up." Chai agreed as the group again took a different path, leading to a zipline rail Chai quickly took.

"We're coming for ya, Kale!" Chai declared before seeing an open carrier box in his way. "Uh oh…!" was all he could say before he accidentally stuffed himself inside it. "Or maybe not."

Luckily, Connor, Hilda, and Lysithea avoided slamming into it, but now they were all stuck. But not for long.

"Mister Chai, Mister Connor, Miss Hida, Miss Lysithea! Now it is MY turn to help YOU ALL!" CNMN said, pressing some buttons on a console, causing the crane that was holding the carrier box to swing into a part of the building as the impact caused the box to open, freeing Chai in the process.

"Agh…great job, CNMN…!" Chai groaned in pain.

"Shake it off, Chai," Peppermint said as the group took their new way forward.

"We should be able to get to the SPECTRA building once we cut through this area," Lysithea said as they made their way through the construction site, grappling their way up to another dead end. Luckily, Narve was standing by near a generator.

"Care for a shortcut, you four?" Narve asked before casting his windstorm and funneling it into the generator, causing it to overload and activate some pipes causing steam to erupt from three of them and lift the covers for a way forward.

"Nice going, Narve!" Hilda complimented.

"Oh, he knows me so well already." Chai smiled.

The group soon reached the platform at the end and they saw the SPECTRA building.

"OK, we can see a-" Chai started before a large robotic hand grabbed onto the platform as a large robot rose in front of them. "WHAT THE HELL IS THAT?!"

"And now for something you WON'T get past!" Kale announced as a laser cannon charged up in its right hand.

"Guys, get outta there!" Leonie warned as Chai quickly grappled to another rail, the others escaping just in time.

"That's the robot Zanzo was trying to put together before we bottomed out his budget! What's it doing here?!" Hilda asked.

"Looks like Kale put on the final touches!" Macaron said.

The group managed to reach another part of the area and fought off more Vandelay bots before continuing on.

"OK, Giant Death Robot! Any ideas?" Chai asked.

"You'll have to steer clear of it for now, I suppose. Try to get to the SPECTRA facility while avoiding its line of sight." Lorenz recommended.

"I don't even know where we're going!" Chai replied.

"Try to look for a way back to us!" Macaron said.

And so they did, but the ZP-1500 was relentless in its pursuit. As the group reached the upper part of a building it rose up in front of them.

"Got you!" Kale said as the robot prepared its laser cannon.

"We're trapped!" Hilda said.

"Run towards it! Trust me on this one!" Korsica directed as they ran right at it, avoiding its laser cannon.

"There's a shutter to your left, evade it through there!" Maxwell directed as the group did so, but the group soon reached another dead end.

"Nowhere to go…" Connor said as the ZP-1500 had them cornered.

"Korisca! This is where you don't let us down!" Chai said when a carrier box dropped onto its right arm and exposed a weak point. The group looked up and saw Korsica do a two-finger salute and whistle to them before Peppermint walked up and fired a laser at the ZP-1500 to direct its attention on her and Korsica before they ran off.

"Let's get you guys a way outta there!" Raphael called as he threw some steel girders right at the nearby wall, making a path forward.

"Thanks, Raph!" Connor said as they made their way to the new path.

"I've got more where that came from!" Raphael said as he tossed more girders to help their advance, which the quartet gladly took.

"This should be of assistance!" CNMN said, lowering a crane cable holding a carrier box, which the group used to make their way through the construction site.

"We have a chance to strike now. Its right arm was weakened by the impact from that storage crate." Lysithea said.

"Uh, not sure it's enough to take that thing down though!" Macaron said.

"It's still something. We'll make it work!" Connor said.

"I think we lost it though," Hilda said as they made their way to another area, but the ZP-1500 punched its way through a concrete wall and nailed Chai, stopping their advance.

"It stuck itself in the wall! This could be your chance!" Avlora said as more security bots spawned in.

"Give us a minute, we got bots to send to the junkyard!" Connor said.

The group took care of the security bots as quickly as they could with some assistance from Leonie, Avlora, Maxwell, and Marianne.

"Quickly! Attack its arm before-!" Maxwell said before the ZP-1500 pulled itself free of the wall.

"No…!" Chai called.

"Like that'll do anything," Kale said as the ZP-1500 swung its fist at where Peppermint and Korsica were before it was stopped by Macaron.

Urbosa snapped her fingers as lightning struck the exposed point on the robot.

"Now, young man! Strike with all your might!" Urbosa called to Chai.

"Hold on, we're coming in hot!" Chai said going down below and right under the ZP-1500s exposed joint. "Bet you won't see this coming."

Chai then Super jumped up to the ZP-1500s arm, and with one good swing, amputated it, sending the arm crashing to the ground as Chai regrouped with his team.

"Well done." Urbosa smiled.

"That was awesome!" Korsica said.

"Taking one of its arms off won't slow it down though. What do we do?" Leonie asked.

"Hey, has anyone seen that weird robot?" Raphael asked.

"Yes, where's CNMN?" Macaron asked as well.

"I think this may do the job!" CNMN called from down below near the fallen arm. "Perhaps that arm can still be used!" he advised, making his way to it.

"CNMN, what're you doing?!" Hilda asked in complete shock and concern.

"I can finally be of assistance! I must seize this opportunity." CNMN said, running to the arm as fast as he could. "Oh my, this is quite fun. I see why you and the others enjoy this, Mister Chai," he added before he soon reached the arm. "I'm compatible! It's quite heavy though. I could use a HAND." he joked.

"Using its weapon against it….Macaron, your buddy's a genius!" Connor said.

"Let's go help him out!" Macaron said as everyone grouped up at the fallen arm.

"We ready?" Chai asked before some of the group helped Chai's team pick it up. Lysithea, Urbosa, Marianne, Narve, and Volta prepared to assist with their magic, and Giovanna caused some vines and roots to grow, entangling the ZP-1500s feet so that CNMN could plug into the arm and get its laser cannon to fire.

"Let's do this!" everyone said.

"Fire!" Lysithea said.

CNMN soon unleashed a barrage of laser shots and beams, supported by the Magic users' elemental assault before finishing with one last massive beam, resulting in an explosion from the arm that sent CNMN flying back as the ZP-1500 was destroyed as well.

(Song fade)

The group ran over to CNMN as he lost his right arm and both legs while he leaned against a carrier box.

"CNMN!" Korsica said.

"Was I 'dope', Mister Chai?" CNMN asked.

"That was VERY dope, CNMN," Chai said before turning away. "Man, he is messed up!" he said doing a cut motion on his neck.

"Nothing I can't fix," Macaron said.

"Stop Kale! I will be fine. I'm glad to finally be useful." CNMN said.

"We will, CNMN. count on it." Connor said as they looked towards the SPECTRA building.

"It's too bad Riju wasn't here to see how epic CNMN was or help us beat our first giant robot without any other assistance from the other groups," Hilda said.

"Hilda, you know why she's not here. Her duties as Gerudo Chieftess come first after all. In the few months since we battled Odio, she has gotten really busy." Lysithea said.

"We'll be sure to tell her the whole story when she's got time to come back to the office," Connor said. "But for now… we've got our own business to wrap up."

"We will stay here and prevent any more security from interfering with your confrontation with Kale. This was your mission, after all." Lorenz said.

"But make sure you don't hold back. This is personal to you, on some levels." Urbosa said.

"I wasn't planning on it," Connor said as clouds rolled in.

"Let's close the set," Chai said as the main group made their way to the building.
