Inside the abandoned factory, Kamen Riders Dark Drive and Tracer were currently fighting against the new Gold Drive and some of the Reaper Legion Roidmude units stationed there.
The black Kamen Rider was currently equipped with the Rumble Dump Shift Tire around his torso, and the Rumble Smasher in his arm, while his partner was using Shift Rolling Gravity, she was holding the 10-ton Weight while her Kourin Signal was showing said Shift Car's respective Ability Crest.
[Hissatsu! Full Throttle! Dump!] Belt-san announces as his operator performs a special finisher.
[Hissatsu! Full Throttle! Tsubusu(To crush)!] The Mach Driver chants as Tracer also prepares to unleash her special technique.
"Drill Smasher!" Dark Drive chants as he pulls the arm equipped with the Rumble Smasher and then lifts it upwards.
*Bzzt!*
Sparks of yellow electricity cover the Tire Specific Item, making it grow in size as it becomes bigger than its current user.
Then, the black Kamen Rider thrusts his hand forward as the Rumble Smasher drills against the Roidmudes in front of him.
"Road Roller! Tackle!" Tracer says as she charges towards the enemy, summoning a large projection of Shift Rolling Gravity behind her.
Then she tackles the nearby Reaper Units, thus leaving the opponents completely flattened.
Literally.
*Boom!* *Boom!*
With the henchmen taken care of, as they break and explode apart, the police Riders now had one more obstacle to deal with before helping their Roidmude allies and Melissa.
[Fight, Gold Drive. Fight!]
Mother instructs her Operator as the golden Roidmude takes a fighting stance.
"You won't get away this time, Gold Drive." Dark Drive warns the Roidmude Rider, dual wielding his Handle-Ken and the Blade Gunner.
"This time, we will get him together, Tomari-san." Tracer warns her partner as she stands next to him, pointing the Pat Megabo at their enemy.
"I know, Yuriko."
*Spark!*
Energy gathers around Gold Drive's arms as he charges towards the cop vigilantes, trying to hit both of them with his jabs.
The three of them get tangled in a series of movements, with the Roidmude failing at hitting either of the Quirkless humans.
Gold Drive spreads his hands out vertically, after putting them together, and fires an arc of yellow energy with the intent of slicing Dark Drive.
*Bam!* *Slash!*
But Tracer gets between them and summons an energy barrier in the form of a riot shield, nullifying the attack.
Dark Drive then uses the moment to jump high before delivering a knee strike on Gold Drive's helmet, pushing the android away and making the Roidmude stumble back.
But the Roidmude Kamen Rider wasn't done yet.
"Argh!" Gold Drive grunts in pain before regaining his footing.
"Gold Fever!" The Roidmude chants.
The golden Rider jumps up with an energy ball in between his feet and spins at the same time, making light green swirls revolve around him. Once higher, the Roidmude spins and releases the ball, which then goes into the ground while moving. It jumps out of the ground with gold scattered across the ball and floor, and then heads to the Quirkless humans with gold around it.
[Counterattack, Yuuki!] Belt-san orders his Operator.
"Rebound Layer!"
Dark Drive summons three holographic Shift Tires to stop his enemy's attack, making use of their elastic property in order to make them work in a way similar to that of a spring, ensuring that Gold Drive's attack bounces back to him.
*Whoosh!*
"Ah!"
But the Roidmude avoids the attack at the last instant, jumping high as the attack causes an explosion behind him.
*Boom!*
Safely landing back, Gold Drive attempts to attack Dark Drive and Tracer again.
*Beep!* *Beep!*
However, a Shift Car and a Signal Bike suddenly got in his way, attacking him before flying into each of the other specific Riders' hands respectively.
Dark Drive was now holding the Shift Legend TriCyclone Shift Car, the item that held the powers of Kamen Rider Sango(#3), while Tracer held Signal Legend Ichigo(#1), the item that contains the abilities of Kamen Rider Ichigo(#1).
"What!? Legend Rider items!?" Gold Drive questioned once he saw the items in their possession.
"Time to take this to the next stage!" Dark Drive declares.
"Right! Let's go, Tomari-san!" Tracer adds in tandem.
Suddenly, a strong wind began to blow there once again, making the Roidmude Rider wary of what was going to come next.
"We call the power of the wind!" The black vigilante says first, inserting Shift Legend TriCyclone into the Shift Brace.
"Let its strong breeze guide us!" His partner says next, placing Signal Legend Ichigo into the Mach Driver's slot.
[Tire Koukan!]
[Signal Bike! Signal Koukan!]
Belt-san and the Mach Driver announced respectively as their users changed their powers.
[Extra Car!]
The sentient Drive Driver calls as a Shift Tire modeled after the wheels of the TriCyclone Rider Machine attaches itself to Dark Drive's torso. The words 'Extra Car' could be seen as they were written in a blue color on the Shift Tire's surface.
[Legend Ichigo(#1)!]
The Mach Driver announced as Tracer's Kourin Signal now showed the emblem of Kamen Rider Ichigo.
To further expand on their transformation process, the Quirkless Kamen Riders both strike poses similar to that of Kamen Riders Ichigo and Nigo as the Showa Riders' emblem manifested behind the two vigilantes.
Feeling a bit intimidated by this, Gold Drive unconsciously takes a few steps back. Brief hesitation comes over him at the realization of having to fight the two humans at the same time.
[You must not show weakness, Drive! You can't run away! Not yet!]
But Mother was not going to have any of it. She wouldn't let her operator run away without trying to put up some fight first.
And so, the newborn Roidmude was forced to obey the voice coming from the Banno Driver.
"Rider Punch!" Dark Drive and Tracer chanted at the same time as they coated their fists in green and red energy before charging towards the golden Kamen Rider.
*Pow!*

Drive 28:
Rising Strong: Embracing Independence and Self-Discovery
*Boom!* *Boom!*
Outside of the abandoned factory, near its entrance, the newly evolved Roidmude 025 was currently fighting against Plain Spider Type Roidmude 019 and the Reaper Legion units accompanying the unevolved evil android.
*Slash!*
025 just cut a Cobra Reaper in two with his blade arm, instantly killing them.
The evolved android then gives a rocket-boosted uppercut to a Spider Reaper, sending his opponent airborne, where they're subjected to an array of 25's laser gun arm before being blasted away.
*Bam!*
025 then spins around and quickly slashes the remaining Reaper forces, instantly killing them.
"D-Damn…!" 019 muttered as he slowly retreated. "If only I had managed to evolve as well. Things would have been different!"
025 then gathers his arms together, forming a large futuristic-looking cannon with them as he points the weapon at his fellow Roidmude.
*Click!* *Clack!*
"But you didn't. Not in this life, nor in our previous one." The good-aligned android says in response. "Now, surrender. If you do, I promise Krim and the others will not kill you. Don't make this any worse for you, 019."
"*Gasp!*"
The unevolved android was briefly taken aback by the sudden proposal the traitor was offering him. But he soon becomes enraged at the hidden implications behind 025's words.
"Screw you, traitor!" 019 barks back. "Let's say they do as you say and spare me. What happens then? I'd rather die than become one of their pets! I refuse to become a mere tool, just like you!"
019 then shoots some webs at 025 from his mouth, trying to restrain the Advanced Roidmude's body as he turns around and begins to run away.
But the evolved android quickly breaks free and easily destroys the spider web trapping him.
"..."
Rather than firing his cannon arm at 019's retreating form, 025 transforms his arms back to normal before trying something else. He summons a black circle with green linings under 019's feet, making the Plain Spider halt on his track.
"Huh!? What is this!?" The evil monster questioned, looking under him in confusion.
025 then makes several rings formed by yellow computer folders appear above his adversary.
"Delete End!" He calls as he makes a palm strike on the ground.
(Imagine that this technique is similar to the Nintendo DS version of the 'Profile Zone' hissatsu technique that comes from the Inazuma Eleven games.)
At this, one of the flying folders stops above 019 before becoming purple.
*Beep!* *Beep!*
The purple folder then begins to beep and blink a red dangerous alarm alert as a skull icon appears on it.
*Boom!*
"Ahhhh!" 019 cries as the folder finally explodes, fully engulfing his figure.
From the explosion, a few seconds later, the 019 Core could be seen flying away before exploding.
"..."
Silent, 025 lowers his head in respect before turning back to his human form.
Taking a deep breath, Shinra then falls sitting on the ground, suddenly feeling drained.
"I guess it's gonna take some time before I fully get used to this, huh…?" He questions himself with a smile, speaking aloud as he looks at his own trembling hands.
"What… What just happened?"
The Fusion Evolved Roidmude that was created from the combination of Melissa Shield and Plain Cobra Type Roidmude 031(Kanade) asks herself, using the blonde Quirkless girl's voice to show that she was the one currently in control of the new red body.
She was initially shocked upon seeing how her arms changed, but Melissa soon became completely speechless once she checked her own image on a reflective glass shard nearby.
The human girl now looked like some sort of red mechanical warrior!
She then sensed the Roidmude plate on her chest shifting to show the number 031.
[I know you have even more questions now, Melissa. But now is not the time!] 031 advises her host. [We still have a problem here to take care of!]
They remember that The Rock Roidmude is still standing in their way, not planning to let them leave the area.
And speaking of the Advanced Roidmude…
"*Gasp!* A Fusion Evolution!?" The block android questions before roaring in anger. "You dare give power to a human, 031!? Not on my watch!"
He then raises his arms as pieces of rock and earth begin to gather above him, forming a massive boulder.
"Stone Age!" The Rock cries before firing the massive projectile at his opponent.
[Jump, Melissa!] 031 orders.
"Ah, right!" The human girl does as instructed, jumping very high to avoid The Rock's attack, which just hit their last spot.
*Crash!*
"Whoa!" The Quirkless was surprised as she performed some acrobatic moves before safely landing back on the ground, finally feeling the enhancements given to her body. "My body feels… More powerful."
[Yes, you're faster, stronger and more durable in comparison to just a moment ago.] 031 explains to her partner. [But aside from that. You've also gained a Skill of your own with the awakening of our 'partnership'.]
"A [Skill]?" Melissa repeats.
[Yeah! An ability solely belongs to you and no one else. It is based on your feelings. A reflection of your heart and personality.] Her Roidmude ally explains. [If anything, this power could be pretty much considered your own 'Quirk', Melissa!]
What!?
The Quirkless girl gasped upon hearing those words.
To finally have something that everybody else was born with while she lacked it…
'This power is… My own Quirk?' She tried to process those words, finding it a bit hard to believe in them despite having successfully become a Fusion Evolved Roidmude.
But deep inside, she could tell that her Roidmude partner wasn't lying either.
[C'mon, Melissa! Focus!] 031 reminds the human, getting the girl out of her thoughts.
The duo is soon reminded that The Rock wasn't going to give them time to test their new combined body's powers.
"Stone Prison!" He cries, raising his arms upwards.
The Advanced Roidmude makes pillars of stone come out of the ground, parallelly lined to each other. His opponent gets confused with the pillars, wondering what he plans to do with them. As soon as Melissa doesn't look forward, another pillar comes out right before her as the Quirkless girl gets hit by the pillar, and is sent flying away.
"Argh!" The human cries in pain.
[Melissa!] 031 calls her as her host as the human slowly recovers from their adversary's strike. [Are you alright?]
"Yeah… This last attack just caught me by surprise." Melissa speaks, checking her body and being relieved that she wasn't gravely injured.
Aside from the pain coming from the last blow, nothing else was hurting.
Thank goodness!
"Say, Mrs. Haibara. About the [Skill] you were talking about earlier… Just how do I use it!?" Melissa questions in panic, looking at her now mechanical hands.
[Whatever ability you create will be a reflection of you! Ask yourself this: What sort of ability would you wish for yourself, Melissa!? What type of 'Quirk' do you want!? What is the first thing that comes into your mind!?] 031 asks the human girl.
'My own special ability… My own Quirk… The first thing that comes into my mind is…' Melissa thinks deeply as she focuses.
But before she could try something, The Rock strikes again.
"Not so fast!" He calls out, raising his arms upwards. "Mega Weight!"
The evolved Roidmude summons a large boulder shaped after a weighing scale, with arms and blank face, to fall upon the red fusion Roidmude(It looks exactly like the BigPoward/BigFlappy virus from the Mega Man Battle Network series).
[Watch out!] 031 cries.
"No!" Melissa cries as she also raises her arms, pointing her fists at the large statue that was about to crush them.
*Bzzt!*
As if reacting to her gesture, a giant holographic blue mechanical fist suddenly manifests above Melissa before clashing against The Rock's Mega Weight.
"W-What!?" The evil android gasps, not having expected that.
And much to his horror, the giant fist easily crushes his special attack upon contact, instantly turning it into dust.
*Crash!*
Melissa and 031 became equally speechless once the two finally registered what just happened.
"D-Did… Did I just make that?" The Quirkless girl asked herself as the giant fist came to her side.
She then made some gestures with her right hand, like closing and opening it in a pattern. And, to her surprise, the giant blue fist was copying her. But with a mental command, she managed to easily dispel and make it disappear.
"I got it! I understand what ability I have now, Mrs. Haibara!" Melissa says after quickly processing what she was doing, her voice now contains some joy despite their current dreadful situation.
[Really? Good! Then go for it, Melissa!] 031 spoke, now sounding reassured. [I will try to offer you whatever support I can!]
"Shut up, you two! I'm getting fed up with you chattering!" The Rock roars as he tries to attack them once more, being more violent this time.
He keeps throwing large rocks at the fusion Roidmude, forcing Melissa to conjure blue holographic shields to protect herself.
'I can't keep being on the defensive forever. It's time to fight back!' The blonde thinks, now determined to beat her opponent.
She gathers energy in her right hand before using it to toss a small cross-shaped slicer at The Rock.
Being big and bulky, the evolved Roidmude wasn't very agile. However, instead, he wasn't worried about Melissa's attack and actually laughed at it, being confident in his body's natural defense and the belief he would withstand whatever the human and 031 used against him.
He couldn't be any more wrong.
*Bzzt!*
"Argh! What!?" He cries in shock as intense blue electricity runs over his body, paralyzing him.
Melissa then made a gesture with her hands, summoning several blue energy missiles from out of thin air before commanding them to hit the Advanced Roidmude's joints.
*Bam!* *Bam!*
"Argh!" The Rock cries as he stumbles back from the resulting explosion's recoil.
[You're doing well, Melissa! But it won't matter at this rate if this is all the damage you're causing.] 031 advises her host, gesturing to their opponent's state.
Despite all the blows the Fusion Evolved Roidmude gave The Rock, he was barely injured.
If anything, he was getting more furious with each strike they gave him.
"You're right, we need to finish this quickly! Now!" Melissa agrees with her partner.
The Quirkless girl then focuses as she scans The Rock's bulky body, trying to find which part of it would be the best spot to strike him down. She makes a triangle with her hands, and looks at her enemy through it, as her eyes shine brighter.
[You noticed. You looked. You thought. You focused on the details. The flaws. Despite your fear. Despite the limitations the human world has carefully built around your thinking. You saw the details, and you remembered the details. Inside your vision, and outside. You used those details to try to help others.] 031 speaks to her human host, having an idea of what Melissa was trying to do.
It was something akin to detecting fault lines, similar to different pathways of action.
To be able to spot a weakness in your opponent's body and exploit it…
"I see it now! A weak point! I know where to strike next!" Melissa declares.
She then gathers energy around her hands before making a giant blue holographic screwdriver manifest above her.
"Go! Corkscrew Jamming!" The Fusion Roidmude commands the giant screwdriver to strike The Rock, mainly a particular spot on his chest.
The blue attack spins before hitting its intended target, causing pain to the Advanced Roidmude.
*Crash!*
"Argh! What is this!?" The Rock cries as the giant screwdriver was trying to pierce through his hard body.
*Crack!*
Huh!?
Suddenly, a crack formed over the spot the screwdriver was trying to pierce. It was becoming larger and larger as time went on.
"I-Imposible!" The evolved android cries in denial, having a hard time accepting that his armor was on the verge of breaking apart.
Until it finally happens.
*Bam!*
The giant blue holographic screwdriver pierces his chest, leaving a hole in The Rock's torso before fading away.
"..."
Silently trying to sense the hole over his body, the evil mechanical monster places a hand over his chest as he processes his inevitable death.
"O-Of all the ways this could end… T-To think… I would die because… Of a Quirkless…" He gasped.
His body then drops to the floor before exploding.
*Boom!*
Soon enough, the 037 Roidmude Core could be seen flying away before it exploded up in the night sky.
"W-We did it..." Melissa muttered under her breath.
[Yeah!] 031 agrees with her.
*Flash!*
Both females exhausted, their union suddenly comes to an end as their Fusion Evolved Roidmude form reverts them back to the blonde Quirkless girl and the blue-haired secretary android in disguise.
'Uh… Why do I feel so tired…?' Melissa thinks as she is losing her balance and her legs are shaking, her eyes are on the verge of closing.
But just as she was about to fall hard on the ground, a familiar pair of hands caught her just in time.
'Mrs. Haibara…' The young inventor thinks as she looks at the person in question.
"You can rest easy now, Melissa. You did well." The bluenette kindly tells the teenager while giving a reassuring nod. "Now leave the rest to the others."
And with these magic words, Melissa passed out with a peaceful expression on her face.
Kanade then gives a piggyback ride to the unconscious inventor girl, ready to regroup with the others, who were hopefully done with their respective battles by now.
"I see you have managed to wrap things up on your end as well."
A familiar voice calls the secretary.
Kanade turns around to see Shinra walking towards them.
"Shinra." She greets him. "What about you?"
"I have managed to test my new powers." The tanned man replies with a smirk, taking a look at his right hand before facing his companion. "It was a success."
"So you've really managed to evolve first, huh? Guess I can't stay behind for much longer." Kanade replies, now even more determined to achieve her unique evolution.
"And what about the girl on your back? Is she alright?" The head of Steinbelt Corporation's R&D Department questions the bluenette, noticing that she was carrying Melissa.
"Yeah. She is just tired." The secretary replies softly, now looking at the blonde girl with a fond look on her face. "And I wouldn't have won our battle either without her help."
"I see." Shinra nods in understanding, soon noticing that the Quirkless human was carrying a Neo Cobra Viral Core with her. "But it seems that you've also taken a liking to this girl, Kanade."
The bluenette chuckled at this.
"Well, I can't deny we somehow bonded a little while we were being kept here as prisoners."
The two then looked to the abandoned factory building, where the last fight was still taking place. They could still hear loud noises coming from there.
"Now it's just Gold Drive left. But I'm sure Yuuki and Yuriko will eventually take care of him." Shinra speaks with a confident expression on his face.
At the same time…
Steinbelt Manor - At the Drive Pit
Needless to say, everyone was shocked as they witnessed the results of the battles that took place within the industrial district.
Especially David.
"I can't believe it… Melissa actually became one with Haibara…" He muttered as he watched the footage of his daughter destroying The Rock, still having a hard time understanding how powerful she became. "What was it that you guys called? A Fusion Roidmude, is it?"
"Yeah, it's a Fusion Evolution." Shinji clarified. "Both Kanade and Melissa's feelings have synchronized, that was how they were able to combine into one."
"But she will be fine, right? There won't be any side effects from this process, right?" All Might questions next, also concerned about the girl's well-being.
"Yes. But don't worry. From what I'm seeing, Mr. Shield's daughter is simply tired. Not surprising considering everything she went through these past hours." The Roidmude muses, adjusting his glasses. "Aside from that, she is Quirkless. But if Melissa actually had a Quirk and still tried to fuse with Kanade…"
Naomasa frowns at the unsaid implications.
"It would've backfired for her and Haibara." He speaks grimly.
Kenji nods in agreement.
"Speaking of it… Do you all remember how Tomari told us that Moonfish fused with 022 back at the Grand Museum incident?" The man-dog questions, getting the group's attention. "He would've died eventually, regardless of what happened, because the Fusion Evolution is still unstable for people with Quirks. I went to the morgue earlier and got his autopsy report from the coroner."
"And may I presume those results confirmed what Mr. Steinbelt has already told us?" Nezu questions the Police Chief.
"They did." Tsuragamae affirms. "If anyone is interested, I can show the analysis results later."
"So, the only fight left now is the one that has Tomari and Shijima facing Gold Drive." Tsukauchi guesses.
"They will be fine. After all, they are at their strongest when they are fighting side by side." Shinji says in reassurance.
Back with Dark Drive and Tracer…
The duo of Quirkless Kamen Riders was fighting relentlessly against their golden adversary, trying to not leave any openings for him to fight back.
"Rider Punch!" The two chanted in unison before each delivered a powerful punch into Gold Drive's chest, sending him flying away.
*Crash!*
"Urgh!" The Roidmude grunts in pain as he falls upon some nearby red oil barrels.
Taking aim with the Blade Gunner and the Zenrin Shooter respectively, Dark Drive and Tracer fired at the barrels, causing an explosion that engulfed their enemy.
*Boom!*
The flames consumed the golden Kamen Rider, but he soon emerged from them without a single scratch.
"How annoying!" Dark Drive grunts, scowling under his mask as he and his partner charge toward the Roimude.
*Bam!* *Bam!*
Using the Blade Gunner's brass knuckle mode, the black vigilante lands a few hits on Gold Drive's helmet, managing to crack his red visor.
*Crack!*
But the Roidmude recovers quickly and fights back, delivering a powerful palm thrust that pushes Dark Drive away.
[Yuuki!]
"Argh!"
Belt-san calls his Operator in concern at this unexpected reaction.
"Argh… It hurts…"
Gold Drive says as he covers the part of his damaged visor with his hand, clutching it in pain.
"Pay Attention!" Tracer calls as she suddenly attacks him from above with her Zenrin Shooter.
She next lands behind the Roidmude and slashes him with her weapon. The Zenrin Striker spins very fast as it acts like a buzzsaw weapon.
*Bzzt!* *Slash!*
"Argh!" The android Rider grunts in pain as he is sent flying away, crashing hard against a nearby wall.
Having recovered, Dark Drive comes next to his partner.
"Let's end him now!" He suggests.
"Right!" Tracer agrees with a nod.
Both then activate their respective special finishers.
[Hissatsu! Full Throttle! Extra!]
[Hissatsu! Full Throttle! Ichigo!]
Both Belt-san and the Mach Driver announced in tandem.
Dark Drive jumps high first, he then proceeds to deliver a Rider Kick into Gold Drive.
The Roidmude barely recovered from the last blow before he looked upwards to see one of his targets coming towards him.
"Rider Kick!" Dark Drive chants as a green aura covered his body.
A transparent manifestation of Kamen Rider Sango soon appears next to the black vigilante, also performing a Rider Kick towards Gold Drive.
But the golden Kamen Rider manages to react quickly at the last instant, barely avoiding the incoming strike by rolling to the side.
"Tsk!" Dark Drive lands on the ground and the manifestation of Sango disappears.
However…
"Rider Kick!"
Gold Drive becomes alarmed once again as he sees Tracer doing the same thing as her partner, with a manifestation of Kamen Rider Ichigo appearing next to her.
This time, the Roidmude didn't have time to react and the other Kamen Riders' feet connected with the Shift Tire across his chest.
*Bam!*
"Argh!" Gold Drive was pushed away before his body exploded once he landed upon some of the abandoned factory's rusty machinery.
*Boom!*
"Did you get him?" Dark Drive asks Tracer as he rushes to her side, the manifestation of Ichigo that she summoned just having vanished.
"Look!" Tracer points with her finger.
The two Quirkless Riders get to see Roidmude 109 emerging from a pile of junk on flames, looking badly damaged from all the punishment he sustained. His transformation was called off and he could not fight anymore.
[You have gathered enough data for tonight, Drive.] The female voice that came from the Banno Driver told her Operator. [Retreat now. Live to fight another day.]
'That mysterious voice again…' Tracer notices, narrowing her eyes under her mask.
"Understood, Mother." 109 complies.
The Human Type Roidmude then transforms himself into Shift Gold Speed and flies away from there.
"After him!" Dark Drive cries as the humans are about to pursue the Roidmude.
However, a strong shaking across the building suddenly takes their attention.
[This place is falling apart! We better get out of here first!] Belt-san instructs the Riders.
"Damn it!" His Operator curses as the trio quickly rushed towards the exit, deciding to go after their new enemy some other time.
*Bam!* *Bam!* *Crash!*
The three of them made it out of the abandoned factory just in time as they saw it collapse right before their eyes. It probably fell apart because the place was already old and couldn't handle the damage caused during the Kamen Riders' fighting.
"Phew." Tracer sighed in relief as she and her partner called off their transformations.
[Otsukare!]
[Nice Drive!]
"Well, we better get out here as well." Yuuki told the others while now fidgeting with his smartphone. "Someone will call the police and a few Heroes soon to check this place out."
"Oi!"
They heard someone calling them.
The group turns around to see Shinra and Kanade approaching them. The latter was carrying an unconscious Melissa on her back.
"Shinra! Kanade! I'm glad to see you two are fine!" A happy Yuriko tells the two Roidmudes, pleased to see that they were alive as well.
Yuuki nods at this.
[I trust everything has gone well on your end?] Belt-san asks his employees.
"You bet, boss!" Shinra confirms with a grin and a thumbs up.
[But why is Kanade carrying Melissa on her back?] The sentient Drive Driver inquiries. [I would've expected her to have left this place first with Melissa.]
"Yeah, about that… The car Shinra used to come here exploded." The bluenette secretary explains with an awkward chuckle. "There was an Evolved Roidmude waiting to ambush us there."
[Oh. I see…]
"What happened then?" Yuuki asks Kanade next before glancing at Melissa's figure. "Did Shinra come to protect you and Mr. Shield's daughter?"
"Actually…"
The Plain Cobra Type Roidmude then proceeds to tell her companions about what she and Melissa did, getting surprised reactions from the others.
The next day…
"Ugh…"
Melissa groaned as she slowly opened her eyes, finally waking up.
Her brain then boots up as she processes her surroundings. The young Quirkless finds herself in an unfamiliar bedroom. She looked out the window and could hear birds chirping cheerfully as the morning sun's light bathed her.
'Where… Where am I?'
The last thing she remembered was Haibara smiling softly at her before she passed out back at the abandoned factory.
Someone must have brought her into this new place and treated her wounds.
But who?
*Knock!* *Knock!*
"Hmm?"
Melissa hears a knock on the door before a familiar voice calls her.
"Melissa? Are you awake?"
It was Kanade.
"I'm coming, ok?" She asks the blonde girl.
The bluenette then opens the door as she faces Melissa, who is still on the bed.
"Mrs. Haibara…" The Quirkless human addresses the android in disguise, somehow having finally become used to the older woman.
Kanade smiles at her in response.
"Good morning, sleepyhead." The secretary greets teasingly. "I'm glad you're finally awake. You wouldn't want to miss the rest of the day, right?"
"Where… Where are we, Haibara?" Melissa asks right away, looking around once more.
"Don't worry. This is a safe place. You're now here at Steinbelt Manor." Kanade explains reassuringly to her, sitting beside the blonde, on the bed, and placing a comforting hand on her shoulder.
"Steinbelt… Manor? As in Professor Steinbelt's home?" Melissa asks, now curious.
"Yep." The bluenette nods to her. "We brought you here after you passed out back then at the factory. Do you feel any pain or discomfort?"
The blonde shakes her head.
"No. I feel fine, actually."
"Well then, that's good news!" Kanade beams, now a bit relieved.
Melissa furrows her brows as she ponders about what to ask the secretary next.
"Wait a sec... We? Who else are you talking about?" The blonde questions, a little curious and confused. "Actually... What happened after I passed out? How did we escape from there? And what about the rest of the Roidmudes? And the Kamen Riders?"
She kept firing several questions at the android in disguise, eventually overwhelming Kanade with them.
"Whoa, whoa. Now hold on a second, Melissa." Kanade interrupts her by slowly raising her hands to the teenager. "I know you have a lot of questions. But now is not the time."
*Growl~!*
As if on cue, the blonde's stomach starts growling. Melissa becomes flustered at this while Kanade chuckles lightly.
"Oh, that's right, you didn't get to eat anything since the kidnapping. You must be hungry, right?" The bluenette notes, placing a hand on her cheek. "Say, how about we have some breakfast first? Your father and the others are awaiting you downstairs."
This surprises Melissa.
"My father is here!? Is he okay!?" She questions the secretary.
Instead of answering, Kanade smiles slyly at her as she proceeds to leave the room.
"I already prepared some clothes for you, Melissa." She simply replies, pointing at the room's wardrobe. "I will join the others while we wait for you to get dressed."
"Wait-!" The Quirkless girl calls, but the Roidmude already left.
Melissa then sighs before getting her new clothes.
A few hours later…
After a quick and awkward breakfast, everybody at Steinbelt Manor went to the large living room to have a much-needed talk. Melissa was briefly introduced on the way to Shinji and Shinra, the one who was secretly posing as her father.
Aside from Krim, his trio of Roidmude helpers and the Shields, All Might was also present with them for this talk.
"I understand you have several questions, to which I can provide the answers. What do you want to know first, Melissa?" Krim asks the girl from his armchair.
The Shields were sitting opposite of him on a couch, David on the right and his daughter on the left.
"Everything. From the beginning, Professor Steinbelt." Melissa specifies, with a determined expression forming on her face. "I just want to know the truth. Mrs. Haibara just told me briefly about the Roidmudes, saying you would give the full picture."
"I see." The scientist nods at this, briefly exchanging looks with his secretary. "Well then, brace yourself. This is going to be one long story…"
He then proceeds to tell the girl about what he told others back at the fateful meeting following the Second Attack on U.A.
Krim next transforms himself into the Drive Driver, further surprising Melissa with his ability as she briefly believed that he actually had a Quirk before the old scientist clarified things to the young inventor.
[And that is why your father decided to come here to Japan, Melissa. To help us with his knowledge of the Quirk Amplification Device. He decided to bring you along under the pretense of taking some time off before the I-Expo starts in the following weeks.] Belt-san finished retelling the important events to the blonde girl.
Melissa became overwhelmed with the amount of information Krim dumped on her, needing a few minutes to process everything.
Being kidnapped and fighting together with Kanade was no longer on her mind.
But rather…
She looks at Toshinori, who was now in his skinny form and decided to tell her the truth behind [One For All], before proceeding to look at her father, who seemed to sport a guilty look as he buried the face with his hands.
"Dad, I get that you want Uncle Might to keep being the Number One Hero. I do too..." Melissa said, her eyes pointed at the ground. "But... But Uncle Might can't be here forever."
"I know, but we can't just rely on-" David objected, but All Might put a hand on his shoulder.
"It's alright, Dave," All Might said, with a small smile. "I'm sorry that I never told you two about my Quirk. I was told to keep it a secret for so long by my predecessors, and I wanted to keep you two safe. But after everything that's happened now, it felt wrong to not let my best friend and his daughter know. And after you started planning your trip here, I figured that it would be best to tell Melissa in person."
"... Is... is it rude to ask why you never thought of giving it to me?" Melissa whispered, rubbing her foot against the ground. "I mean, I'm not asking for you to hand it to me, I'm just... wondering..."
"[One for All] is a heavy burden to carry. For the longest time, I fully prepared to carry it alone," All Might explained. "And when you were diagnosed with Quirklessness, I was at my prime. I had no intention of passing it down at the time. And when I got injured fighting All for One... I couldn't bear the thought of seeing you hurt like I was. You were already on your way to becoming a fine support engineer, there was no way I could suddenly change your course. I'm sorry I've disappointed you by not choosing you, Melissa, but my love for you hasn't changed one bit."
"I see... I understand," Melissa said, smiling sadly. "Well, either way, you're still my Uncle Might! That's not going to change either, whether you have your Quirk or not."
"Just promise me you won't resent Young Midoriya for this, Melissa." Toshinori pleads to his niece-like figure. "Once you meet him, you'll see why he also deserves [One For All]."
Melissa nods at this. Despite being disheartened at the revelation, she will respect her uncle's wishes as well.
She then looks at Belt-san with an expectant look.
[Yes? What is it, Melissa?] He asks her, despite already having an idea of what the girl would ask.
"Professor Steinbelt… All Kamen Riders are Quirkless, right?" She finally questions, now looking a bit hesitant.
[Yes, indeed. Dark Drive, Tracer, Lupin and Chaser are all Quirkless people. Just like you and me.]
"I-I see… W-Well, y-you see… I was wondering if…"
Belt-san suddenly reverts back to his human form, cutting her off.
"Melissa, I'm gonna be honest with you." Krim starts, crossing his arms. "I already knew about your Quirkless condition for a while. David would often talk to me about your situation whenever I exchanged letters with him or through a video call. I would often give him advice to help cheer you up because of your condition. Believe me, I know how harsh it is nowadays to grow up while being Quirkless. I speak from experience."
The Roidmude trio gives sympathetic nods at this as they also helped Krim raise Yuuki once the humans accepted them as part of their unusual 'family'.
This makes Melissa give a look to his father, who seemed unsure of how to reply to this.
"Then… If you already knew I was Quirkless… Have you ever thought about letting me become a Kamen Rider?" Melissa asks the question she has been wanting to say to the older scientist for a while now.
Something that has been bothering her alongside the reveal of [One For All]...
"Now… Don't take this the wrong way, Melissa. But I never considered you an option." Krim replies neutrally, not beating around the bush.
David and Toshinori gasped at these words while Melissa seemed to have become even more upset.
They felt sharp and powerful.
And they also hurt a lot.
The older scientist closed his eyes for a moment before opening them again to look at Melissa.
"David and Toshinori would tell me how you also wanted to be a heroine." He speaks softly, looking at her in understanding. "Would you have tried to become one if I presented the Kamen Rider System to you?"
Melissa frowns at this, suddenly becoming angry with Krim.
"Not just me. But what about all the Quirkless that wished to become heroes!? Don't they also deserve a chance!? Don't you think it's selfish to keep such technology to yourself, Professor!?"
Her father and uncle were shocked by the sudden outburst, their eyes becoming wide.
'Melissa…' Kanade looked at the blonde girl with a concerned expression on her face.
Krim merely sighs at this, removing the glasses from his face and wiping them with a handkerchief before putting them back.
"Back in 2015, in my homeworld, I sealed myself and my technology away because humanity wasn't ready to use my inventions. Even with the Roidmudes' defeat." He starts. "And when I have awakened in this new world, the answer still remains the same. Humanity here is also not ready for the Core Driviar technology."
'Professor…' David still looks bothered by this, remembering how Krim also told him about his refusal to show his marvelous inventions to the rest of the world.
"But still…!" Melissa tries to argue.
"However, that's not why I was against having you as a Rider candidate." Krim quickly explains, adjusting his glasses.
"Wait, what?"
The girl blinks at this, not having expected that answer.
"Because, Melissa, the choice about becoming a Kamen Rider is not just yours to make." The older genius clarifies, pointing fingers at David and Toshinori.
'Dad… Uncle Might…' The Quirkless teenager soon gets the meaning behind the gesture.
"You must know from your father and Toshinori himself that this line of work, for a hero, is dangerous. With many risks to your life." Krim says. "But becoming a Kamen Rider is even more dangerous. The probability of death is higher. Out of my respect for David, I didn't want to involve you. And I don't want to drag innocent people into this fight if possible."
'Melissa…' David becomes grim once again at the prospect of his daughter becoming a Kamen Rider and possibly dying during a battle against the Roidmudes.
"He's right about that, Melissa." All Might adds somberly. "As you have seen, I also got my fair share of injuries fighting Villains. Not just All For One. And now, with the threat of the Roidmudes around, several Pro Heroes here in Japan have already been killed by them."
"There are enemies like the Terminus Roidmude amongst their ranks. Individuals that even All Might can't defeat." David cursed bitterly.
"Terminus…" Melissa repeats the Executive's name, shuddering as she imagines the terrifying monster that defeated All Might.
"If Krim and the Kamen Riders hadn't appeared to save us back then at U.A., who knows what they would have done to us." Toshinori pondered, equally disturbed as he remembered the injuries the Roidmude caused him.
This got the young Quirkless girl to remember the vigilantes in question.
"Speaking of it… Where are they? Dark Drive and Tracer, that is." Melissa asks Krim, looking around and finding no signs of her fellow Quirkless.
"Yuuki and Yuriko are at Musutafu City Police Department. Don't worry, you'll get to meet the two of them later, Melissa. But they are currently busy investigating a new important case. Apparently, they just got a lead about a Roidmude going after drug spots that sell Trigger." Shinji tells the group.
This information confused some of them.
"A Roidmude going after Trigger? But they are androids, right? Why would they go after drugs?" David wondered. "It's not like they could consume it themselves. After all, it only works on people with Quirks."
"Actually… That reminds me of one case involving a certain Advanced Roidmude back in my homeworld." Krim points out, placing a thoughtful hand under his chin and becoming pensive.
"You mean Crush, right?" Shinra asks, getting a nod of confirmation from his boss.
"Crush?" Melissa asks, she and the others, also unaware, are now curious about the story behind this particular enemy.
"I will explain later." Krim replies, now not being the best time to tell them about the case that got Shinnosuke to unlock Type Wild.
'Tomari Yuuki and Shijima Yuriko…' Melissa thinks about the two individuals that got selected by Krim to become Kamen Riders. "And why did you decide to specially make those two Kamen Riders? What… What do they have that I don't?"
"When it comes to intense feelings and possessing a strong sense of justice, you're not that far behind them, Melissa. But there are several more factors that come into play in order to become a Kamen Rider. Like having a strong body suitable for fights, for example. Unlike them, you have never actually been in a fight before you were kidnaped, were you?" Steinbelt asks her back.
"No… I never really got into a fight before last night's incident." The girl replies, looking at her hands before clenching them.
"Both Yuuki and Yuriko also have indomitable wills that refuse to yield, under no circumstance. A heart that never gives up is the true source behind their strength and not the Core Driviar technology."
'An indomitable will… A heart that never gives up…' Melissa pondered, wondering whether or not she also had that important quality.
"You still have a lot to think about before deciding whether or not your current self can master the Rider System, Melissa. Which now begs the question:
If I offered the Rider System to you now, would you try to become a Kamen Rider?"
Melissa, David and Toshinori could only gasp at the sudden offer as Krim questions the girl with a serious expression on his face.
Instead of answering him immediately right there, Krim told Melissa to take some time to think before deciding what she actually wants to do next.
Will she continue her original path as a Support Items designer?
Or will she choose another route as a Kamen Rider candidate?
At the U.A. Entrance
Sometime later, Melissa, David, Toshinori and Krim all went to U.A. High. Just like how they originally intended to before the Roidmudes tried to capture Melissa's father.
"Wow, I can't believe I'm really visiting U.A.!" Melissa said, looking around at the main campus.
"Hahaha! Indeed, this is a bastion of learning for every student!" All Might said, as they approached the entrance. "Right now the First Years are doing some training at Gym Gamma, so we'll be meeting them later! For now, let's take a tour of the main campus!"
"You sure you want to do this? I'm good with-" David said, but All Might stopped him.
"Of course! After all, I think I have some colleagues here who would love to meet you, Dave!"
"You mean like the Support Course teachers?"
"Exactly! That will be our first stop here!" Toshinori then spares a glance at Krim. "After all, Krim also has business there with a certain someone of that area."
"Right… Was that why you wanted to come with us to U.A. the other day, Professor?" David asks his mentor.
"Indeed. Let's just say that I met a peculiar someone, David. A person that got my attention, just like how you did back in your College days." The older scientist answered cryptically, simply sporting an amused smile.
Toshinori simply nods at this, having an idea of who he was talking about.
Meanwhile…
At the Development Studio 1H
"So this is the Support Course's Development Studio,"
Tenya said while he, Izuku and Ochaco walked. They stood in front of two giant metal doors that were sealed shut.
The trio was visiting the studio for the first time in order to request adjustments to their costumes.
The U.A. High's Development Studio is a workshop dedicated to Costume adjustments. It is located on the first floor of U.A. High School's main building and is managed by Power Loader.
"I wonder how they're so heavy duty like this." Ochaco comments.
"I don't know, maybe it's to keep the other Support Classes from peeking at each other while they work?" Izuku suggested.
*Knock!* *Knock!*
The greenette began to knock on the door.
In the other direction…
"Hurry up, dad, Uncle Might! I wanna see the Development Studio!" Melissa said, as she ran through the hallways.
"Slow down, I'm getting too old for this!" David said, chuckling as he watched her almost skip towards Class 1H. "So you really think these kids are something else?"
"Absolutely!" All Might laughed. "Well, I wouldn't know personally, but Power Loader has almost nothing but glowing praise for his students!"
"Why 'almost'?" David asked, raising an eyebrow.
"You will find out soon, David." Krim tells his protegé, snorting at what was waiting for them.
"Well, apparently there is one student that, while the best of their class, gives him massive headaches for whatever reason," All Might said, scratching his head. "I'm sure it's nothing."
As they approached the Development Studio, the quartet noticed three people standing in front of the doorway.
"Oh, is that-" Melissa said, beaming.
"Indeed it is! Young Midoriya!" All Might called out.
"Oh, hey All Might-!" Izuku said, turning his head around.
*Boom!*
An explosion erupted from Development Studio 1H, consuming Izuku while his friends managed to quickly get away. The greenette was still smiling as he was blown away.
Everyone around them (with the exception of Krim), stared in shock as the smoke cloud consumed the former Quirkless.
Meanwhile, All Might still wore a smile on his face, but this time it slightly opened in surprise at what he just saw.
"Dammit, Hatsume!" a voice cried out from the room.
Power Loader came walking out of the smoke, waving his hands around to push it away.
"You can't try to make everything that comes to your mind!"
"Failure is the mother of invention, Mr. Power Loader!" A certain pinkette girl coughed. "Thomas Edison once said that! Just 'cuz something doesn't work as intended, doesn't mean it was a wasted effort!"
"That's not the point!" Power Loader shouted.
"Well it's- what am I on?"
As the smoke parted, everyone saw Mei Hatsume laying on top of Izuku, her sizable assets squishing against him.
"Oh hey, where'd you come from?" she said, cheerfully.
"B-B-B-B-B-" Izuku stuttered, all color from his face draining in an instant.
"BOOBS!" Ochako shouted, with the utmost seriousness.
"Oh my gosh, are you two alright!?" Melissa said, snapping out of her shock as she ran over to help Izuku and Mei up.
"Yeah, just a little surprised by the explosion, that's all." Izuku said, chuckling awkwardly despite what he just experienced.
As he takes a good look at Melissa, the boy asks:
"Are... you the daughter of that friend that All Might said was going to visit U.A.?"
"Yep! I'm Melissa Shield! I've been wanting to meet you since Uncle Might told me about you!" She beamed.
She then pointed to David, who gave him a polite wave.
"And that's my dad!"
"David Shield," he introduced himself, sticking his hand out to shake Hiroshi's. "A pleasure to meet you."
"W-Wait, David Shield!? As in the David Shield who's pioneered hero costumes and Quirk study!?" Izuku said, pointing at David Shield.
"Indeed! That is the very same Dave!" All Might laughed, patting David's shoulder. "He and I go way back to my college days in the United States!"
"Mr. Shield, Mr. Steinbelt!" Mei said, almost instantly appearing right in front of them. "You just have to see my babies!"
"Your... babies?" David said, raising an eyebrow.
"It's what she calls her inventions... the inventions that have a tendency to BLOW UP!" Power Loader said, gritting his teeth. "I am so sorry, Mr. Shield! When I told her that you and Mr. Stenbelt were coming, she was insistent on staying here to create something to impress the two of you. Even though the Support Course dorms haven't even been completed!"
"Yes, that certainly appears to be the case. No harm here." Krim speaks, sounding amused.
"Come on, you just gotta see them!" Mei said, running into the Development Studio.
"Hatsume, calm down!" Power Loader said, as he ran back inside. The students looked at each other before following in, with Melissa, David, Krim and All Might looking at each other.
"She's certainly an excitable person," Melissa laughed, shrugging as she walked in.
"I take it that she is the student your coworker's having trouble with," David said, holding back a laugh.
"Seems like it," All Might said. "I can certainly see why now."
"I'm glad that she still has that curious spirit I got to see back at the manor." Krim says, simply nodding in interest.
"Hatsume, seriously, you can show Mr. Shield your babies later," Power Loader said, as she went through and looked at a bunch of different gadgets and gizmos they had made. "Right now, there are some Hero Course students that are here-"
"Oh?" Mei said, finally looking at the other students. "Oh hey, it's you guys from the Hero Course. Um..."
"D-Don't you remember who we are?" Ochako said, pointing to herself and Izuku. "We were your teammates during the cavalry battle!"
"I'm Tenya Iida! The man you used as an advertisement for your babies!" Tenya said, indignantly.
"Hm... right, of course!" Mei said, earning sweat drops from the trio.
"So I take it that you all want costume upgrades?" Power Loader said. "Just hand me your costume blueprints in your costume cases when you can so I can look over them. For small modifications and redesigns, I just need to send a report to your agencies, and they'll handle the paperwork.
For bigger ones, we'll have to get a formal application submitted, though. And the government will inspect the updated costume. If it passes, they'll send it back to us. Since I work with one of the bigger support companies it should be done within three days or so if it's big."
"Really? That's great-" Izuku began to say, when Mei began to feel him up.
"W-W-What are you doing!?" Ochako said, as Izuku blushed furiously, especially at Mei's touch.
"Feeling him up!" she said bluntly. "Wow, you are surprisingly muscular underneath this."
"They're certainly a peculiar bunch, aren't they?" David said, laughing as Ochako checked up on Izuku, Tenya guffawed at everything, and Power Loader's exasperation.
"So true, but befitting of U.A.! It's never a dull moment here!" All Might laughed, noticing Melissa standing next to the Hero Course students. "Seems like Melissa's getting into the spirit of things!"
"Wish I could've brought some of my own Support Gear to show off." Melissa said thoughtfully.
"Like father, like daughter, huh?" Krim said.
"I suppose so," David chuckled.
"Honestly, as much of a pain as she is-" Power Loader pinched his helmet's forehead, coming to his student's side. "- Hatsume'll probably be the best Support Items designer you can get. See that mountain of junk over there?"
Off to the side, everyone turned and finally saw a true mountain of gear, unlike the one that Mei was looking through. It was easily ten times as big.
"She made that since the beginning of this semester," Power Loader sighed. "Hatsume spent way too much time here. Seen a lot of students come and go, but she is something else."
"She made all of that in less than four months?" Izuku questioned, looking at the pile up and down.
Melissa joined him in examining the mountain of gear, and picked some out to look at.
"Yea, these are actually some pretty good designs... All they need is some finetuning and power output adjustments..."
"Really? How can you tell?" Ochaco asked, looking at what Melissa had in her hands.
"Oh, do you have a Quirk that lets you read mechanics on the fly!?" Mei asked.
"No, actually, um... I'm Quirkless." Melissa said awkwardly. "Yea, it's-"
"Just like me." Krim cut her off, making all eyes land upon him. "Is that why you went into the Support Course, Melissa?"
"Yeah... I always wanted to be a hero, but when I was told I was Quirkless, that ended," Melissa said, a little sadly. "But after dad and Uncle Might told me about how being a part of a support crew meant that I could be a hero to pros, I decided that I could be just like my dad and make support gear for heroes!"
Izuku could find himself relating to what the girl said, given his past as a former Quirkless.
As the teens talked, laughed, and ran from Mei and her inventions, David, Krim and All Might were laughing at the sight.
"I am so sorry, Mr. Shield. Mr. Steinbelt." Power Loader apologized, giving the scientists a polite bow. "This wasn't what I wanted to show you two, I assure you. The other Support Courses are much better, I-"
"It's fine," David replied, watching Melissa getting along with the other teens, talking to them about ideas they could use. "This is a lot better than I thought it would be. Those kids are gonna be something, I think."
"No doubt about it. The world's going to be in safe hands with the next generation!" All Might laughed, as he patted David's back.
"Indeed, Toshinori. And it was a good idea to come here today. I finally have my answer now." Krim declares, getting curious looks from the others.
'Answer? What is he talking about?' Izuku wonders as he heard him, not knowing why exactly Steinbelt even came to U.A. with All Might and the Shields in the first place.
"Hatsume… Mei." The creator of the Rider System calls for the pinkette. "I have made my decision."
"Yes, Mr. Steinbelt?" The young inventor, who was usually eager, was now sounding nervous before the old scientist.
This shocks the others, minus All Might and Power Loader, as they did not know why her attitude suddenly changed to a more 'tame' one.
Krim simply smiles warmly at Mei, extending a hand to her.
"Congratulations. As of now, I accept your request to officially have you as my apprentice. Welcome to the team, Mei."

I don't know yet what codename I should give to Melissa's Fusion Evolved Roidmude form.
As for her powers, I first got some inspiration from the playable character Ant-Man(Future), who appears in Marvel: Contest of Champions. His ability to use the nano-ant swarm to build anything that comes into his mind gave me the idea to give a similar ability to Melissa and Kanade/Cobra 031's fusion form.
Another character that I used as a source of inspiration for this form's powers also comes from one more Marvel character: Karnak. I like his ability of [Stress Point Detection], which can be used to detect stress points, fracture planes, or weaknesses, physical or psychological, in all objects or persons around him. So I decided to also give a similar ability to Melissa's fusion Roidmude.
For those that still remember this story's Drive 20(chapter 21), Mei previously requested Krim to take her as his apprentice. And now, he has finally given an answer to her.
I will now probably also work on a new story: the crossover that I planned to make by mixing Kamen Rider Ghost and Highschool DxD. I know I already have several projects to work on here, but I won't be able to find some peace until I try to make one chapter for this possible new story as well.

I'm also thinking about something similar: A Kamen Rider for hire.
There is an idea about a Quirkless OC that will help the good guys fight against the Roidmudes, but only if they are paid properly. Just like a true mercenary. They don't care about defending humanity or saving lives. They are not evil but aren't a good person either.
Kamenmaximus: Thanks for the ideas! I can definitely make use of something like a Ghost Roidmude. But in this case, I would rather name it Nightmare or Fear Roidmude in order to better symbolize the meaning behind the motif of feeding herself on negative human emotions.
The idea of Roidmudes straying away from their objectives because of the emotions they are studying holds some merit. Maybe I can use this in a later chapter as well.

I'm not really worried about plagiarism because I honestly suck at coming up with descriptions for certain characters, especially inhuman ones. So, if it can't be helped, I will end up using some of the already existing descriptions and make comparisons with them in order to make up for some of the story's characters' appearances whenever I need to come up with something.
In regards to Roidmude 031(Kanade) and Melissa's fusion evolved form's debut in this chapter, I hope you liked the codename I gave to their combined form and the abilities that came with it.
Austin: Yeah, Melissa fusing with Plain Cobra Type Roidmude 031(Kanade) will have an important impact later.
For now, I don't have any plans on making any of the Kamen Riders die. Only some of the Pro Heroes will in later chapters.
