On July 17th, it was Heroes Day as people were going to celebrate certain heroes.
"Time to prove we're the best heroes!" Crazy says as a ship was arriving.
Jitro and his men came out as people cheered
"Jitro gets all the fame…I'll show him." Delta says.
Some people wanted to see Luke. Luke arrived and made a spectacular entrance.
Fans cheered wildly. Luke flies around, smiling.
The president made a lot of speeches about stuff.
"We deserve to be a part of that. We've saved the day lots of times, even the universe." Jack says
"Coming from me is this hero of the year award, which has been won by Jitro for 37 years and today, our hero of the year is going to have a parade and a chance to perform on my birthday, which is today." He says.
Angry Luigi sighed as Alem tuber looked down, knowing Jitro would win.
Luke watched intently, but knew not to get his hopes up.
"The hero of the year award is going to the amazing and brilliant Trillion Triplets for saving me from tripping down the stairs." the president says.
Alem tuber looked furious as they took their awards and smiled.
"Okay, something seems wrong. We need to do the right thing." Savannah says.
Luke just flies off, his hopes dashed.
Lucy finds him at home "Hey, it's okay…maybe next year." Lucy says
"Randy should have won…" Lynn grumbled.
"I QUIT BEING A HERO! APPARENTLY ANYTHING GOOD I DO IS NEVER RECOGNIZED!" Luke wailed and hissed as he just went off to drain his good powers.
"Wait, I think they cheated." Lisa says "Maybe we can find out who really should have won."
"Come on, Jason, let's teach those Triplets a lesson " Alem tuber says
"I really don't care." Emila says, reading a book.
Luke was seen draining his powers into a bottle, but Lisa stops him before he could.
"Okay, no, you are not doing that." Lisa says.
The cosmic buddies over hear the Trillion Triplets' plan.
"The jig is up and the cosmic buddies are here to save the day cause we all know that award belongs to us!" Alem tuber says.
"Yeah, we should have won! We've worked hard and saved the universe a few times." Jack says.
"What proof?" Trey asked as Bill hacked into the white house and sees that they caused the president to fall.
"How could you?" Savannah asked.
"Now everyone knows who really saved the day." Bill says.
"Yeah" Chrissy says as the triplets shot golden beams everywhere as the Cosmic buddies were dodging as Chrissy shot plasma waves. They dodged as they dove towards Chrissy, but Alem tuber and Delta punched Tristan's face.
Jason kicked Trey in the face.
Angry Luigi dodged a few beams and hammered one, sending the beam to Troy.
With Luke, tears poured from his face as he came on the scene. And created waterfalls in town.
"Now, Luke's mad again…looks like we gotta fix his mess, then claim our awards." Alem tuber says. Emila rolled her eyes as she sent the water to another dimension using magic.
The president had an announcement. "I'd like to apologize for my mistakes. The real hero of the year is Luke Huntington!" He says.
Luke looked surprised by this. He had never won this award before. Fans cheered for him as he smiled.
The cosmic buddies look sad.
"Luke gets everything, why bother?" Alem tuber asked furiously as he punched his brother and left.
The fans wanted Luke to perform. The siblings were cheering for him. Luke could hardly believe he won Hero Of The Year.
There was a parade float for him and everything. He smiled as he boarded the float. People took pictures of him.
"Let's go, we're not heroes. No one even notices us." Angry Luigi says.
"Yeah, they really just chose Luke because of his fame status. After all the adventures, all the training, we get nothing." Bill says as they head out.
Savannah felt a bit bad for Brandy.
Luke was singing on his float as cameras were on him. He was singing "You Want Me", a new song he's working on with the band.
Skylia noticed her boys were feeling down.
"Hey, it's okay. An award means nothing." Skylia says.
The next day, Carol brought Connor's birthday breakfast. Connor's tears began to form.
"Happy birthday, Connor! What's going on?" Carol says as she gives Connor his 18th birthday pancakes.
"No one's going to remember my birthday. It'll be like my interview all over again…where it gets ruined." Connor says sadly.
Leni was getting ready for the fashion show with Lori.
"I'm glad we're doing this together." Leni says.
"Me, too." Lori says.
Luke is at the Pingrey house with the party stuff. He could see Connor in tears.
Lucy came in a bit late.
Connor sniffed leaving the house wanting to be alone.
Meanwhile, Delta rushed and kicked Alem tuber and smirked as she tries to hit Alem tuber who dodged and back kicked her and smirked as he flew up and dove towards Delta who blocked as they continue
Alex was training with Jack as Jason was training with Angry Luigi the Cosmic buddies were still sour and upset. Well, except Savannah. They had to watch Luke's celebration party that actually went well.
"UGH! What's the point of training anymore? They just like Luke because of his dumb movies and his dumb songs and his dumb albums!" Alem tuber says, tossing a dart at a picture of Luke and growling.
"We need to prepare for the show tonight." Angry Luigi says.
Meanwhile, at the Pingrey house.
"My piano…" Lucy says as Becky had accidentally dropped something, breaking Lucy's piano and her poem book was on it.
"This party will be a disaster…Luke's counting on me to not hold him back." Lucy says.
Luke screams and throws things off of a table, obviously frustrated. He also lost his temper, destroying the things he threw.
Connor was with Beau.
"It'll be ruined…" Connor says. "Just like my first ANH interview…something will go wrong…"
"No, it won't." Beau says.
"Wanna bet? Wanna bet that there won't be some villain or monster that appears and heroes have to come and stop it?!" Connor asked, angry.
"Have faith." Beau says. Connor just looks down.
Luke is hissing as the party is falling apart. Lucy looked down as Luke was stressing out.
Lucy used magic to set everything up. Luke felt washed-up and underappreciated.
"You're not washed up, no one is perfect." Luna says.
"The party is off. I can't finish the job…" Luke says sadly.
Lucy looked upset as her spell accidentally went wrong.
"Maybe I'm washed-up." Lucy says and leaves.
"I'm letting my friend down…I just know it." Luke says.
Meanwhile, Lori walked on stage in a purple star-patterned suit as the crowd loved it.
Then Lori modeled a prototype version of Luke's costume for tonight's show.
Fans cheered as they loved any mention of Luke. Soon Lori and Leni won.
Leni squealed and hugged Lori.
"We couldn't have won without Luke." Leni says.
Luke was sobbing, knowing he let Connor down. He knew that he couldn't put a decent party together. Carol tried to reassure Luke.
The siblings felt bad as Lucy sniffed, knowing she failed.
Luke soon tries to think of what to do. He then gets an idea.
"We're in Orlando, right?" Luke asked.
"Yes." Lucy sniffed.
"I have the perfect idea for Connor's birthday surprise. Carol, would you mind keeping him distracted during the show? I convinced Gemma and April to let me and Chalice main event tonight in order to give us time to set up." Luke says.
Carol smiles and nods. "Leave that to me. I know how to distract my brother." She says.
"I can't really help out, I'm-I'm…" Lucy stammered, looking nervous. "I've secretly been performing with Tabby." Lucy says.
"What?!" Luna asked as Lola laughed. But Luan gives Lola a menacing glare, shutting Lola up.
"I knew Cuphead would be upset, so I went in secret." Lucy says and goes to set up Connor's birthday party.
That night at the show, Luke almost didn't want to go.
April and Gemma came on stage.
"Welcome to Walt Disney World, the site of our most magical night on America's Next Hitmaker!" April says.
"Tonight's show will be another quintuple elimination show in order for us to make our top 30 teams that will go to the Inkwell Isles for our Movie Magic show! Votes are needed in order for your duo of choice to be in the show, America!" Gemma says.
"Coming up first is Lucy Huntington and Tabby Mayweather!" Gemma says, stunning Cuphead as he hyperventilates. Mugman was trying to calm him down.
"What's wrong?" Chalice asked. Cuphead was trying not to shatter.
"They're just friends." Leni says
Cuphead was shaking too hard to listen.
Lucy and Tabby performed as Cuphead fainted in Mugman's arms. Lucy stopped her performance and looked worried.
Cuphead was passed out as Mugman was fanning him.
Lucy kissed him trying to wake him up. Cuphead stirs a little, dried tears on his face.
"Cuphead, I-I'm sorry…I gotta go, party planning stuff…" Lucy says, running off.
Cuphead was a wreck the minute Lucy was gone. He knew she didn't love him.
Lucy and Luke look around as Lucy puts streamers up. Luke was setting up tables and making calls.
Lucy looks over the guest list and Luke looks at the menu and chooses Connor's cake.
Meanwhile, on the show…
"Coming up next, Connor and Carol Pingrey!" Gemma says. Connor appears with a sad face, dressed in his Prince Naveen costume.
Fans cheered as they performed "Dig A Little Deeper" from Princess & The Frog.
The fans cheered as they finished.
"Coming up next are the defending champions Savannah and Tina!" Gemma says
"Honestly, it would be nice to be noticed." Chrissy says
"Yeah, like that will happen. All people talk about is Luke, Luke, Luke! I'm tired of all this Luke crap." Randy says.
"He is better than us." Brandy says as Randy punches him, looking annoyed and leaves the building.
He sees Luke. "One day, Luke's life is going to fall and I for one will enjoy it." He says, no longer having respect for Luke and considering him a rival.
Savannah and Tina were performing "Let It Go" from Frozen. They even wore Elsa costumes on stage.
Fans cheered as the judges pressed the platinum button.
"Coming up next is a duo you love, the amazing duo that will give you an awesome time, Cuphead and Mugman!" April says.
The cups came out, smiling. Mugman had convinced Cuphead to perform with him to get his mind off of the current situation with Lucy.
The fans cheer as they begin to perform "You've Got A Friend In Me" from Toy Story.
Lucy was clapping for the cups. Cuphead sees her and smirks.
After that, Lucy went on stage and kissed him. The crowd cheers.
Luke was trying to handle things solo. But it wasn't easy. Lucy came back to help him.
After a bit, everything was finished. Lucy smiled as Luke went off to be with Chalice.
On the show, the twins were next, and they performed "I Just Can't Wait To Be King" from The Lion King.
Fans cheered and clapped and tossed flowers.
Afterwards, Randy goes offstage, still fuming.
Meanwhile, Beau was having an interview. His first Hitmaker interview.
"So, how are you and your girlfriend doing?" April asked.
"Pretty good. Soon, I'll propose to her." Beau says. "I've been planning the proposal for some time now."
Soon, Beau and Lisa went on, doing "I See The Light" from Tangled. Fans cheered as they watched this amazing performance.
Bella and Beth went on, performing "Reflection" from Mulan. Then Luna and Sam went next, performing "Good Company" from. Oliver & Company.
"Coming up next, is our main event performance! We would like to present to you, a duo that is going places and taking names…Luke Huntington and Mrs. Chalice!" Gemma and April say.
Everyone cheered. as the duo appeared in Monsters Inc. work uniform costumes, and they began performing "If I Didn't Have You" from Monsters Inc., much to the crowd's delight. They finished by dancing to their "doors" as the crowd roared.
For the first time in ANH history, April pressed the button for a second team to be safe from elimination, that team being Luke and Chalice.
Soon, it was time to see who was going homrome this time. Sadly, Luna and Sam were going home.
"Okay, we're still in this. I plan to win. We still have to prove we're the best heroic team, and saving lives won't count at this point. This show is the way to prove it!" Alem tuber says and punches a wall, still a bit mad.
"Let's see who's in first…it's Connor and Carol, then in second place is Luke and Chalice, then you two are in third." Bill says.
"Now that's what I'm talking about! We're ahead of Bella and Beth. That's the best news I've heard tonight." Alem tuber says.
Soon, Connor arrived at the Magic Kingdom in Disney World as confetti fell on him.
"Surprise! Happy 18th birthday, Connor!" All his friends say.
Connor was surprised as he looked around and smiled at this.
Meanwhile, Lori and Leni were celebrating their big victory.
"Nice job!" Lincoln says.
"Thanks, Lincoln." Lori says.
"Where's Luke?" Leni asked as Lori froze.
"Shoot, we forgot! We've been late because someone wanted to make a speech." Lori says.
"I wanted to give Luke my application." Leni says.
"Application?" Lincoln asked.
"Appreciation." Lori says.
"Oh." Lincoln says.
At the party, Luke was riding rides with Beau and Connor.
Lucy was on a tea cup ride with Cuphead. Cuphead was liking the ride while Mugman screamed like a girl. Chalice recorded the entire ordeal.
Soon, it went faster as Mugman screamed and wet his pants. Cuphead laughed at his brother while Lucy looked lightheaded.
"I got that on camera, too!" Chalice says.
Mugman looks humiliated as Lucy stumbles around.
Luke was meeting some characters with Connor and Beau.
"This is fun!" Connor says.
"It's almost cake time!" Carol says.
"Awww, already?" He asked.
"I have an announcement." Leni says "At my fashion show, the winning costume was designed by my brother Luke. While I did do a lot of the work, he deserves some credit. I want him to have the trophy." Leni says. Luke smiles and accepts it.
"As I was saying, it doesn't have to be cake time. It can be gift time instead." Carol says.
Connor opened Luke's gift first. It was the newest Brady Brookfield movie A City Boy's Musical Nightlife, which Connor loves.
"Thanks, Luke!" Connor says.
Connor opens Luna's gift next.
It was a new guitar. Connor smiles and hugs Luna before opening Carol's gift.
It was a teddy bear in a soccer uniform. Connor smiled and hugged it.
After the rest of the gifts were opened, everyone ate some food as the Mickey Mouse character brought out the piñata.
"Neat!" Connor says. Luke hands him a bat.
"Go for it, slugger!" Luke says.
Connor hits it and makes the candy fall out all over the place. Connor takes his share of it and smiles. This was his best birthday ever so far.
Carol sneaks off to get Connor's cake. In the meantime, Elemental Strike was going to perform. Connor grinned at this.
Once they were set up, Luke smiles.
"We have a birthday boy here tonight, ladies and gentlemen!" Luke says. "Let's hear it for Connor Pingrey, who is 18 today!"
Everyone cheered for Connor, who smiled.
The band begins performing as everyone dances along to the music. As Carol appears with the Disney-themed soccer cake, Beau smiles.
"Can everyone help us sing this next song?" Beau asked.
Everyone nodded as the band started singing "Happy Birthday" to Connor, who was shedding tears of joy.
"This is incredible…" Connor says.
"Make a wish, bro!" Carol says.
Connor wishes to win this season, then blows out his eighteen candles as everyone cheers for him. He smiled as he took it all in. This truly was his best birthday ever.
Skylia sees Randy.
"Randy, for years I've tried to control your anger, but more still remains. It's just a medal." Skylia says.
"How come Luke gets all the attention and glory? Why does he get so much?" Randy asked.
"He's just him." Skylia says.
"So you like Luke better than me. I get it." Randy says and leaves the house fuming.
"Randy, get back here!" Skylia says, but he was gone.
"Luke, prepare for the fight of your life." Randy says and goes to train with his friends.
He arrived at Jack's joke & toy store.
"Jack tonight I'm going to challenge Luke to a fight and I'll embarrass him. I don't play second fiddle!" He says.
"He's mad…" Alex says as Randy punches a prank pie.
"Darn Luke, he gets on my nerves!" Randy says
"Me, too." Reilly says.
"You can't fight him or you're out." Alex says.
"Then I'll win this thing and embarrass Luke on TV. That's the best way to do it. Now, we train." Randy says.
Skylia sobbed, upset. "I can't believe I'm such a bad mother…" she sniffed.
Charity sits next to her. "Your son hates mine. I can see that now." She says.
"It's not really hate. He's had some anger issues and lashes out a lot. Usually he takes it out on Brandy." Skylia says.
"Well, I can see that he's going to fight him soon. We'll be there to see it. Both of us. And one way or another, the fight can or cannot happen." Charity says. "Because I know how this will all end. It will end with my son in a coma or worse…dead. Luke's blood will be on Randy's hands."
"But Randy will have to wait until after the tour. Thank God…" Skylia says before realizing something.
The ceiling broke as the twins fell through the floor to the basement.
Skylia sighed.
With Luke, he heard about this fight and began training. He wasn't going to lose. He wasn't going to let some wannabe hero take him down so easily.
"Oh, so he wants me to fight him. Well, challenge accepted. But I will not go in this alone." Luke says.
"Huh?" Lucy asked.
"Who are you taking?" Luna asked.
"Ladies, it's time for the Full Deck to come together. The tour is on a break until mid-August. We train, then that fight is beginning. Chally, you get those brothers of yours into shape. We have a fight to train for." Luke says.
"All that to take on Randy?" Lynn asked.
"He's not coming alone, Lynn." Luke says.
"Actually, he usually fights alone." Lynn says.
"He's bringing his friends into this." Luke says.
"Okay, you guys are just there to record and cheer me on. I'm not accepting help. But, if he jumps in, then all hell shall break loose." Alem tuber says and trains harder.
Jason decided to do the smart thing and stay out of it.
Angry Luigi called some friends to try and stop this whole thing.
A few days later, this was going viral on the news.
Luke had his army at the ready. "Just stay in your safe zone. You'll know when I'll need you." Luke says as he takes on his hero form. The siblings and cup trio nodded.
"Okay, Randy wanted to have a fight? That's dumb." Peach says.
"I know he's not going to live." Angry Luigi says.
Alem tuber glared at Luke as the fight began. Alem tuber moved so fast he became a red blur as he rammed his fist knocking Luke into a wall as he leaped and began pummeling him with punches and grabbed him and tossed him to the ground.
"Okay, Luke, ready to lose?" Alem tuber asked, punching his fists.
"Okay, Randy, ready to die?!" Luke hissed. "Because I'm ready to BEAT. YOU. DOWN!"
Alem tuber rolled his eyes and crossed his arms as he gets ready and tries to attack Luke, who hit Alem tuber with a uppercut and leaped up and kicked him down, causing a crater.
"You cosmic buddies are just wanna-be heroes." Luke says as Alem tuber grew annoyed and rushed behind him and hit him with a flurry of fists and kicked him into a wall. He shot a ki blast at Luke, causing an explosion.
"I'm sorry, but it's true." Luke says as he starts retaliating with a few attacks of his own.
Alem tuber landed. "Wannabe heroes?! Oh, wait, you're never around to see our adventures. They're so cool, you can't keep up!" Alem tuber says and shot a barrage of blasts.
Luke's agile movements allowed him to dodge each hit with ease, then he fired a few ice blasts, hissing. Alem tuber moves so fast the ice wasn't close to hitting him as he leaped and kicked him and hit him with an elbow smash.
"Luke!" Lucy says and rushed in as Alem tuber back fisted her, then kicked Luke down
"Wanna play, huh?! Okay!" Alem tuber says and grabbed Lucy and tossed her into Luke and shot a garlic gun at them, causing an explosion.
"So you losers want in, huh? Come at me!" Alem tuber says.
"Triple threat rules!" Bella says.
"Oh, Team Real wants to fight! Come at me!" Alem tuber says as Bella shape-shifted into Belos and shot flames at Alem tuber who dodged and smirked as he uppercuts Belos and smirked as Chalice and Lynn kicked Alem tuber.
Alem tuber glared and kicked Lynn, then punched Chalice as he turned Super Saiyan, unleashing a yellow aura.
"The Cosmic buddies was way better than Team Real, I mean lame team name." Alem tuber says.
Luke began pummeling Alem tuber with a bunch of fire fists and sent him flying.
"Time to jump in!" Alex says as he and Jack jumped in with Reilly.
Luke heals Chalice and lifts her up. "Time for us to use that move we practiced, my love! Take the form you were born to take! I'm going to follow suit!" He says.
Chalice used her super art and shot a blast at them sending them flying.
"Chally, ghost form! Let's use that move we practiced!" Luke says.
She does so. Luke shifts into the same form and the two of them spin around, creating a heated milk fog. The two of them grab each other's hands and shout out the attack together.
"The heated milk fog is only the start! We take flight and we take heart! Let's hit them with some SUPER HEATED ELEMENTAL ART!" Luke and Chalice shout.
They were sent flying.
Bella sent Lynn and Lucy flying as Cuphead was knocked down by Beth.
"Weak…" Beth groaned as Alex swiftly kicked her.
"Okay, boys, that's it." Alem tuber says as Jack shot some pie cannons and fireworks.
Luke and Chalice take the form of an owl in the heated milk fog and appear before Alem tuber.
"Actually, I ain't afraid of owls." Alem tuber says.
"Wait, really? There goes my prank card." Jack says as Alem tuber just looked at him.
"You going to stay in that fog all day or will you fight like a man?" Alem tuber asked.
"Oh, no, they're going to get killed!" Angry Luigi says as Emma thinks.
Crazy shot a cannon, cannonballs going everywhere
"Now that's an April Fools' idea." Luan says, getting hit by one.
Delta spin dashed into Bella and smirked as Chrissy used her Omnitrix, turning into Ghostfreak.
"Okay, let's do this" Delta says as Lori tries to punch Delta, who blitzed past her, Leni, and Luna, sending them flying.
Chalice unleashed the hot milk as Emma drank it all.
Luke was going to lose for sure now. But if he lost, Randy would get what he wanted. Lynn punched Alem tuber, sending him back a bit.
Lola rushed in, shooting crystals at Alex, who deflected them with his sword and kicked her away. Reilly kicked Lana.
Bill and Lisa look at each other.
"Science fair?" Bill asked.
"Science fair." Lisa says as they both decided to team up.
Luna kicked Alex, then elbowed Jack.
"This is wild!" A news crew says.
"3 superhero teams are fighting each other." a man says.
Cuphead was trying to shoot Ghostfreak, while Mugman kicked Alem tuber, who snapped Mugman's handle out of anger.
Lynn armtackled Beth, sending her down.
Luke hissed, going for his Elemental Hurricane.
Angry Luigi dove in and started spinning "Elemental spin jump!" Angry Luigi says as he used a spin jump mixed in with elementals to protect his brother and sister. There was a huge explosion.
Luke looked stunned by this.
"I don't hate you, Luke, but I can't let you kill my brother and sister, I just can't." Angry Luigi says.
"That was impressive." Emma says.
Luke bowed his head sadly. "Fine. You got what you wanted. Happy now?!" Luke hissed.
Alem tuber huffed and puffed and looked at his brother.
"You idiot, you should have just stayed put! Always butting in!" Alem tuber says.
"What a hard case!" Bella says as Angry Luigi dashed off as Alem tuber dashed after him.
But Skylia decided enough is enough.
"Okay, Okay! You proved your point!" Skylia says. "Fight's over! Both of you go home THIS INSTANT!"
"Heh, at least I won." Alem tuber says in his head.
"Who cares, it was pointless." Emila says, reading her book.
"Dudes and dudettes, major league butt-kicking is back in town, cause the cosmic buddies are back in action!" Jack says as a big pie fell on Angry Luigi for comedy.
Luke sighed as Lynn groaned. "Randy got stronger. I'm proud" she says.
Luke got very angry. He was done. He was done being good. He was done doing the right thing. He flew off in tears. He would just be good at losing from now on.
"Luke, you didn't really lose. It was just a dumb fight." Lucy says, following him.
"HE GOT WHAT HE WANTED, OKAY?!" Luke says, flying further away.
Lucy stopped him and wrapped him in a big hug. "It's okay, it's okay…" Lucy says to Luke.
The Waterlashes arrived home.
"That was amazing, son." Bob says
Angry luigi looked down, he nearly lost his brother and his sister. He felt like an idiot.
"That was fun! That milk was tasty!" Emma says
"We gotta celebrate!" Alem tuber says
"No. This may have attracted attention." Skylia says.
Angry Luigi hid under the couch, shaking.
Lucy heads to bed and can't sleep. She overhears Luke talking about double something, and then it hits her. Tomorrow was the wedding. But at this point, Luke wouldn't be there. He couldn't face anyone after tonight's fight.
