CHAPTER 1. A DAY LIKE ANY OTHER.

6:45

It all started on a normal day. He was asleep, sunlight was already streaming in through his bedroom window, and the wake-up alarm set on his cell phone was already ringing. However, he wasn't listening to her, he was absorbed by the dream that he was having at this moment, with a voice calling him.

"Bruce, Bruce, Bruce" the voice told him. "Do you not remember me?" It asked the voice. From one second to the next, the music sounded, it seemed to be the typical elevator music, monorail music, airplane music, it could be anything.

"My name is..." the voice told her, being interrupted for a few moments. "… Diana!" She yelled at her.

Right after, he opened his eyes quickly, but he had to close them because he received a lot of light, something not recommended when waking up. This didn't make sense, the sunlight didn't filter as freely into his bedroom, and it didn't hit his face. Had he placed himself in a different position? As he got used to the light, he could see that he wasn't in his bedroom, he was in someone else's.

It could be said that it was a woman's bedroom, of a young woman to be precise, judging by the youthful clothes that were in her dressing room. In addition to looking at the other objects, a large floor-length window that could be opened and closed (the reason sunlight filtered down to hit his face), a full-length floor-length mirror, drawers, a dresser, a bureau, typical for a woman; and a normal bed on a normal basis.

However, that was nothing compared to what he saw when he looked down, and he saw that he had woman's breasts. He didn't know why, but he was mesmerized to see that he had that. An obsession and a great desire to touch them were too much, so he began to caress them delicately, before squeezing them with his hands, without being rude. He liked doing it so much that he didn't notice that someone had opened the door and she stared at him for a few seconds.

"Sister, what are you doing?" A female voice asked, and a bit high pitched.

"Um, they feel so real," he whispered to himself, as he realized what the voice had told him. "Hey, who are you calling sister?" He asked turning around, seeing a little girl who was still holding the door.

"Are you still asleep?" The girl asked in a whisper. "Time for breakfast! Hurry!" She yelled at her before slamming the door.

"This is a very strange dream" He said in her mind. But, since it was a dream, he had to go with the flow, so he got up and went to the full-length mirror and took off the top he was wearing in his pajamas. He always took off his shirts first.

He stood still, looking intently at what was in front of him. The sight had given him the answer to what he had not understood at the beginning.

"What?!" He yelled out loud. He finally knew it, the breasts he had caressed before weren't fake, they were real.

And that was only the prelude to what was to happen next.

7:00

In the kitchen of the house, a woman with blond hair, collected in a braid behind her head, was preparing breakfast, fried eggs, there were twelve, because both she and the girls she took care of ate a lot.

"Ready, Donna" The blonde woman said to the girl.

"Thank you, aunt" The girl told her.

"Good morning" She said, running to the table where they were eating to sit across from the little girl.

"Good morning" The blonde woman said.

"Lazy. You are very slow" The girl claimed to her. This is because she is the one who usually gets up without delay to make breakfast.

"I'll make you breakfast tomorrow, Donna" she assured her as she began to grab the scrambled eggs that the blonde woman had put on the table, before she (the blonde woman) sat down.

She grabbed the plate with the fried eggs and put four on her plate with the help of her fork. Then, she took the plate where she had toasted bread and took three by mistake.

"It's a lot" She said. "Whatever" She said very happily.

Her behavior did not go unnoticed in the eyes of the blonde woman and Donna.

"You're back to normal" The blonde woman told him with an expressionless face. The older sister stopped eating and was stunned for a second when she heard what the blonde had told her.

"Yesterday you seemed crazy" Donna told her before smiling mischievously.

"What do you mean crazy, Donna?" She asked the girl. There was no answer because the speaker that was installed in the house began to sound, as part of the sound system that was installed throughout the town.

"Inhabitants of Little Volos, good morning" Said the loudspeaker. "This is an official announcement from the City Council regarding the mayoral elections. The elections will be on the 20th next month. The Election Committee would like to remind everyone that…" She said, but it was not heard, because the blonde woman had disconnected the loudspeaker.

A moment later, she turned on the TV in the kitchen and turned on the news channel, which was talking about the Petropoulos comet, which was two or three weeks away from being seen by everyone in the country, and very surely, the whole world. They were already beginning to say that it was going to be the celestial spectacle of the millennium.

Donna, who was somewhat uncomfortable by the repellent behavior of the blonde woman and the girl, decided to ask.

"Why don't you make peace with him?" Donna said.

"You wouldn't understand, Donna. It's an adult thing" She told her. She was pretty sure Donna wouldn't understand or actually hate her if she told her the truth at that moment, about why she and the blonde woman hated the town mayor.

After finishing her breakfast, she went to her bedroom and began to brush her hair into a braid like the blonde woman's, the difference is that she had jet black hair, like the color of ravens, Donna also had the same hair color. With the braid ready, she opened her drawer where she kept the object she always carried with her: a red ribbon, she put that ribbon where her braid was and she tied it. She took one last look in the mirror, she wanted to look good.

"See you later, auntie" The two girls said at the same time before going out the door of the house and receiving the sunlight. Donna was wearing her typical girl's clothes of hers, shorts that barely covered her ankles, a slim jacket and a short-sleeved blouse underneath it, all light in color. While the Donna's sister was wearing her uniform for her high school, a short-sleeved white blouse with her shield on the right side along with a knee-length black skirt.

Starting to walk, Donna told her that she was already looking forward to the festivity that was coming up soon. The two girls walked along the pavement for a few minutes when they came to the intersection that separated her and Donna's paths.

"See you later, Diana" Donna told her.

"Study hard, Donna" the girl told her, the two saying goodbye raising their hands.

She kept walking for a few minutes until she heard someone rang a bicycle bell. Diana stepped aside and her friends arrived on the bike. The one riding the bike was a thin, muscular boy with blond hair; next to her, sitting, was a woman almost the same height as her, but with red hair and white skin. In fact, she also had fair skin, but she was more tanned. They both wore the same uniform as her, with the exception of the blonde, who wore black pants.

"Diana" The redheaded woman told her.

"Good morning, Iris. Good morning, Barry" She greeted the two.

"Good morning" Iris said, standing up a bit, making Barry cringe a bit.

"Well, get off, you weigh a lot" Barry said annoyed.

"Hey, how rude" Iris said.

"Don't be mad at me, be mad about your weight," Barry said.

"Hey, what a cute couple you make" She told them, starting to walk with a big smile.

"Of course not!" They yelled at her in unison.

After that, they started walking slowly towards the high school, except for Barry, who was still on his red bike with yellow lightning bolts as decoration. Iris was noticing what both the blonde woman and Donna had been noticing in her, so she spoke.

"Wow, now you did your braid, Diana" Iris said, caressing her braid.

"What are you talking about, Iris?" She asked, confused.

"Oh yeah," Barry said, remembering what happened with her yesterday. "What happened? You lost a bet and that's why you acted like this? Did they perform exorcisms on you? A ghost possessed you?" He asked her without stopping to move the bicycle.

"What are you talking about?" She asked, still confused.

"Something definitely possessed you yesterday" Barry told her.

"Can you stop with that black magic thing already?" Iris told Barry, hitting him lightly. "Diana is too troubled for you to say that."

"What are you talking about?" She asked, still confused.

"Are you okay, Diana?" Barry asked him, being the confused one now.

She couldn't answer the question because they came to a point on the street where the person she least wanted to see was. He was a man slightly taller than her, with jet-black hair, just like her, only he had a rather thin mustache and a bit of facial hair below his mouth. You could tell that he was a bit stronger than Barry, but he wasn't that muscular, but he hid under a black suit with white shirt and red tie; and that black suit was overshadowed by a red sash wrapped around the body that had "Hades Princeton for Mayor" written on it. That man was speaking through a megaphone to a small group of people who were interested in what he wanted to tell them, since the rest of the town no longer wanted to hear anything, due to a very obvious fact.

"…And above all, restore the fiscal health of the town to continue with our revitalization project. It is only by doing all of this that we can all achieve a safer community together. As elected mayor…" Princeton said.

A man and a woman who were standing listening to him intently couldn't help but say why a lot of people didn't care what he said.

"Princeton will be re-elected," the man said.

"Here between us, I heard he wasn't doing very well" The woman said using her hand as if she didn't want anyone to hear her.

Barry, Iris and she had no other purpose than to get out of there as soon as possible, so they kept walking at a normal pace, but they were stopped by two girls and a boy, quite smug and smiling.

"Hello, Diana" The boy said in a cheerful tone.

"Good morning" She said in a rather muffled voice.

"It seems that the contractor's sons and the mayor get along well" Said the boy, now in a more mocking tone, which was accompanied by laughter from the girls.

With that said, she lowered her head and kept walking accompanied by Barry and Iris, trying to go unnoticed. Unfortunately for her, Hades Princeton saw her and had no problem yelling at her, interrupting her speech, even knowing that she hated him.

"Diana! Stand up straight when walking!" He ordered her, oddly enough, without needing the megaphone.

She didn't answer him, she just kept walking without wanting to stop after this humiliation.

This drew a small number of teasing from the same guys who had made fun of her and Barry just a while ago.

"Hard" Said the boy.

At the same time, it provoked a reaction from a somewhat elderly woman who was in the audience.

"Wow, he's hard on his family" The woman said, very surprised.

She was walking faster, leaving Barry and Iris a little behind.

"Diana!" Iris yelled at him.

"In front of everyone" She whispered to herself before closing her eyes for a few seconds.

XXX

8:10

Back in high school, she was sitting next to Iris in the left corner of the room. It was the typical room with its benches and individual desks for each one, with quite large windows that allowed one to see the great lake of the town and all the buildings of the same that were at a long distance.

As the blonde teacher wrote on the blackboard, she opened her notebook, ready to write, but she didn't. When she got to the notebook page that should have been empty, it wasn't blank, it had a question written in capital letters.

WHO ARE YOU?

Her eyes widened, but she kept her mouth shut, though she did bring her face closer to the notebook. How was this possible?

"Ocasus" Said the teacher. "That is the origin of the word 'Sunset'. Everyone here must know that word" She was saying with a cheerful voice and a rather pleasant face. "Dusk when it is neither day nor night. The border between the worlds vanishes and we can meet something non-human" She turned around and wrote on the blackboard again. "An older term is 'twilight', some also call it 'the golden hour'" She said this as she wrote.

"What about' magic hour'?" Asked one of the students. "That's what my grandmother says," He added.

"The golden hour and the magic hour are practically the same. It is not a term that only photographers use" The teacher replied.

"Well, she does take a lot of pictures" Said the student, making the others laugh a little.

While her teacher spoke, she kept wondering who could have written this, she even checked if there hadn't left more messages on the other pages of her notebook. She was a fairly good student, without being exceptional, but she was indeed good at studying; although she, like any young person, used the notebook from time to time to doodle or play with friends. But, this didn't make sense. Who would leave a question written in her notebook, and in this way? Was someone following her? A secret admirer? A secret crush?

That a secret crush has left her something like this would not be so far-fetched. She was somewhat coveted by many boys, because she was beautiful. Aside from her slightly tanned skin and jet black hair, she had a rather slim, but well-proportioned body, plus her very fine face with a slightly pointed nose, blue eyes, and red lips would charm anyone after a while. That or they were only interested in becoming her partners for convenience, because they thought that, with that, they could obtain benefits from Mayor Princeton.

"Okay, let's continue," said the teacher. "Galanis?" she asked her.

She had to stop thinking about the written message and got up from her chair.

"Yeah?" She asked herself somewhat nervously.

"Wow, I see that today you do remember your name" The teacher told her with an amused tone, which caused the other students in the room, with the exception of Iris (who only looked at her sadly), to laugh a lot.

She just tilted her head, in confusion. What were they talking about? Obviously something had happened, but she couldn't remember what it was. She would have to wait until her recess to find out what happened.

XXX

11:30

"What? Don't you remember?" Iris asked, surprised that her friend was asking her what she had done the day before that had provoked this wave of questions, and mockery from her classmates.

She just shook her head.

"Well, believe it or not, yesterday you forgot where your desk and your locker were. Also, you had your hair combed, but only with a ponytail and without your ribbon" Iris replied.

She imagined for a few seconds herself as she had described Iris to her. It was something completely strange. How come she had put on a ponytail without her ribbon? And more importantly, how come she had forgotten where her desk and her locker were?

"What? It can't be" She said quite alarmed.

"Yeah, like you have amnesia or something" Iris said.

She, Iris, and Barry were in her usual playground, under a tree that gave shade at that hour. Barry was sitting on a small desk that had been left out there, like it was useless, while she and Iris used chairs that had also been discarded. Despite what might be believed to the contrary, they were comfortable this way.

"Now that you mention it, I've had strange dreams lately, as if I dreamed of someone else's life, but I can't remember" She said with her index finger on her chin and looking at the sky thoughtfully.

This excited Barry.

"I have it. Those are memories of a past life, of a life not lived, or of a connection to the theory of the multiverse..." Barry said with a rather excited face, using his book about characters having adventures in different universes and wearing rather strange costumes, even which was interrupted by Iris.

"Shut up!" Iris yelled at him.

This caused a quick thought to cross her mind.

"Wait, Barry, don't tell me you wrote that in my notebook" She told him.

It wasn't illogical. Barry was quite the prankster from time to time, like when he pulled a prank on her when she opened her locker once and several paper streamers shot out.

"What are you talking about?" He asked her with a serious look.

With this, she knew that Barry wasn't lying. Yes, he was a joker and knew how to keep quiet about various things, but both she and Iris had learned to know when he was honest and when he wasn't.

"Forget it," she said.

"But really, you were acting really weird yesterday, Diana," Iris said, looking at her. "You feel good?"

Barry joined in by nodding twice. This only added to the confusion, she had no idea how to explain what was going on with herself, and the others didn't have any answers, so she shrugged.

"It's weird, I feel good," she said.

"Maybe you're just stressed. Well, considering that your ritual is coming, right?" Iris told her.

"Do not remind me that. I can't stand this place anymore," She said, bowing her head. "It is very small and village. I already want to graduate to go to any city in the world as soon as possible so as not to return" She added.

"Yeah, I don't blame you. Really, there's nothing interesting here" Iris said.

"The train stops every two hours" Iris said.

"Shops close early" She said.

"There are no bookstores, no dentists…" Iris said.

"But there are two bars for some reason" She finished the sentence.

"There's no work," Iris said.

"There are no weddings" She said, touching her head in frustration.

"Even the days are too short" Iris said.

The day was somewhat frustrating for Barry. He had had to listen to his friends complaints since they had left school, and he had to stop them, that and he wanted to make them feel better, so he stopped his bike, this because, in all the time they were complaining, they walked all over town, with him still on his bike.

"You know what?" he asked them.

The girls turned.

"No. What?" They asked at the same time.

"Can't we forget about that and go to a coffee shop at once?" He asked them very enthusiastically.

"A coffee shop? Where?" They asked at the same time again, their eyes lighting up, showing that they were very excited.

The big coffee shop they went to was… a vending machine that was outside one of the grocery store in town. Barry and Iris each had a soda and sat on the bench outside the store.

"Hello guys" A woman on a motorcycle told them.

"Hello" Barry and Iris also greeted her at the same time.

"This is not a coffee shop" Iris said quite annoyed.

"You know there is no coffee shop in this town, Iris. And then you say I don't know the place" Barry replied, also annoyed as he opened his soda bottle.

"Diana preferred to go home" Iris said, letting out a sigh. "These days are hard for her" She added.

"She's in the spotlight now" Barry told her somewhat worried, then took a sip of her soda.

"Yes" Iris said with a sigh. She looked at Barry. "Hey, Barry," she told him.

"Yeah?" He asked her quite cheerfully. It could be said that he was the most charismatic boy in school. He could get into trouble or something would happen to him that made him sad, but his mood would return to being charismatic and cheerful seconds later.

"What will you do after you graduate?" She asked him as he looked at her soda bottle.

"Why you ask? Are you interested in my future?" He asked her very perceptive.

Iris just nodded, smiling a little.

"I don't know, Iris. Something tells me that I could leave the city and do something else, just like Diana, but, on the other hand, I think I'll stay here to live my normal life" He replied, looking at the sky.

19:00

In her house, both she and the blonde woman, whom she called Aunt Antiope, were making threads to form bracelets, ribbons, and anything that had to do with threads; all this while Donna was in charge of wrapping them around spools, one for each one.

"I want to do the same as you, Aunt Antiope" Donna said after having wrapped another thread on another spool.

"You're not ready for this, Donna" Antiope said. "Listen to the voice of the threads When you intertwine in this way, feelings flow between you and the thread" She said as she intertwined the threads, forming another ribbon on a wooden template.

"Threads don't talk" Donna said as she made a sad face and tilted her head a little, and then she wrapped them back into a spool.

"Antiope means to focus, Donna" She told her as she arranged the threads on another template, but this one was circular.

This was something the three of them did recurrently, it was like the family pastime, in Donna's words, but, for Antiope, it was a class outside of school about family customs, and tonight was no exception.

"Among our intertwined threads are the countless stories of Little Volos" Antiope said without stopping moving the threads. "Listen, less than 100 years ago…" She said before being interrupted.

"Here we go again" She said in an amused voice.

"…Mr. Makris's printing press had a fire, which burned a large part of this area" Antiope recounted, ignoring what she said. "That included the sanctuary of the gods and historical documents. That event is known as…" She couldn't finish the sentence, since she interrupted her.

"…The great Makris fire" She said, her back completely straight and her eyes closed. She had already heard this story about ten times, while Donna hadn't, because she hadn't started braiding threads yet.

"It can't be. Did they name the fire after him?" Donna asked, surprised. "I feel bad for Makris" She said, lowering her head.

Seeing that the two girls were not going to speak again, Antiope spoke again.

"The meaning of our festivals was lost because of that and only the formalities remained. But, even if that has been erased, the tradition must remain. That is the great responsibility of the Galanis" She took a moment, as she came what she never wanted to say, making her close her eyes as she sighed. "But the man my sister fell in love with decided to abandon religion to become a politician. He has no remedy" She finished with a rather rude voice.

She was quite surprised. She wanted nothing to do with Hades Princeton, so this was unknown to her, until now, and this made him hate him even more. How she hated to the politicians now too.

They continued braiding threads for a while longer.

XXX

19:45

In a house, quite away from the Galanis family, was Mayor Hades Princeton, having a small feast with the town's contractor. He had gone with him, as there was no one better to ensure that he was re-elected as the mayor of that small town.

"I know I can count on you for this, Allen" Hades said as he poured some Bacardi rum into the contractor's glass.

"You don't have to worry about that. I'll take care of it" Said the contractor Allen. "You will have the votes of our sectors, that's for sure" He said with a smile and then drank Ron's glass.

Contractor Allen was also accompanied by three other co-workers of his. The only difference is that those companions had gone more for the food than for the politics. After all, Allen was the important one.

On the upper floor of the house, Barry was watching videos, like any teenager, on his computer. He knew that these meetings of his father were not to be listened to by him, although he did listen to one thing or another because he never closed the door.

His time on the computer was interrupted by a blonde-haired woman, who had come with him to give him another soda, since he couldn't go downstairs for one or he would interrupt the meeting.

"It smells like corruption in there" Barry said with a mischievous smile.

"Don't talk nonsense, Barry" The woman told him.

"Barry, you'll be working on the site this weekend" The contractor said to Barry seconds later. He had gone upstairs to go to the bathroom. He knew Barry would listen to him.

After this, the blonde woman left, leaving him alone. Barry just sighed and got up from his computer and opened his window all the way. He wanted the fresh air knowing that he would be going to work on something he didn't want. He was like her in that way.

"It seems there's no way out for any of us even if we don't want to be here, Diana," He said to himself.

There was nothing romantic between her and Barry, but every once in a while, they did have a moment where they really hit it off. They had been friends since junior high school, when Hades Princeton had started his campaign to be elected mayor for the first time.

They had met when he had temporarily stolen her backpack case from her to return it to her after her, first he wanted to see if she guessed it was him. Strangely, she didn't know that it had been him until he handed it back to her at the end of a class, she didn't take it very well, but she quickly forgave him. She was in a difficult situation, so that's why she didn't react well, but after meeting Barry's playful, curious, but compassionate spirit, the two became friends.

It was when they started high school that they met Iris, a quite charismatic and nice girl, and who was not interested in the in-law linked to her. They had been inseparable ever since, although of course, there were times when it was just the two of them, not three, like when she and Barry played basketball, soccer, or she took his bike, and from time to time they did homework together; while she and Iris were a better duo for homework and for walks around the town when they were bored or annoyed with the little life that it offered them.

Despite this, Barry felt attracted to her some time after starting high school, but she had rejected him, not because she was in love with someone else, but because she did not want a serious relationship with him, but she assured him that she always would like him as a friend. Obviously, he felt down for a few minutes, but Iris cheered him up by buying him a hot dog. Despite that event, she was right, they were very good friends and they had no problem with it.

But, with what she was going through at the moment, and especially knowing that the ritual she had to perform was close to being performed in little more than half an hour, he knew that she was not going to have a good time.

XXX

20:30

The ritual began without delay at a small roofed altar to the god Zeus, the only one in town, so it was the most crowded by the townspeople. Antiope was very strict and did not tolerate delays, especially when her nieces forgot the traditions of her ancestors. She hoped that, in the future, they would carry on the family tradition to the next generations, and yes, she had been frustrated and angry that her sister didn't want to continue them because of her relationship with Hades Princeton, but there was no point in staying angry with her, she could at least do her duty now.

For the ritual, Donna and her older sister were dressed in white dresses edged with silver, plus they had their hair in a single braid; Antiope was the one who did Donna's hair, since the hairstyle that she used the most was two very simple pigtails tied with garters, so a braid was quite complicated for her at that time.

The ritual began with the two girls holding wooden sticks, used mostly as combat or martial arts training, but they didn't fight with them, they used them to spin them delicately with one hand while the other stayed close so it wouldn't fall out of their hands. Then they started doing some fast laps, but at normal speed. Antiope brandished the staff she was holding below, so the two girls faced each other and clashed their staffs once, not to hit each other, but as a greeting or an indication that it had finished that part, followed by a bow of the head, a sign of reverence.

Following that, Antiope came over and gave each of them a bowl of rice. Both she and Donna took some rice with three out of four fingers, the sense of refinement had to be maintained, and they put that rice in their mouths.

At some distance from this ritual, were Barry (who had come after his father's meeting with Mayor Princeton had ended) and Iris, watching what she and Donna were doing in the ritual.

"So you get an alcoholic drink from the most ancient times. You chew the rice, you spit it out, you let it ferment and it turns into alcohol" Barry said without taking his eyes off the ritual.

"How do you know that?" Iris asked, she didn't stop looking at the ritual either.

"I researched it. Obviously, I would not have liked to drink that, even if I was at that time. But it seems the gods like this" Barry replied, still looking at the ritual.

"Do they really like it?" Iris asked. Now yes, she took off her gaze.

"Of course they do, Iris" Barry said, raising his voice a little.

Since the ritual was public, several people had come to see it, including the same three annoying boys who made fun of the mayor's daughter's friendship with the contractor's son.

After chewing rice for a while, she and Donna began pouring it into cube-shaped wooden containers Antiope had given them. She could hear the boys laughing at her for this tradition, her eyes widening briefly, but she composed herself and continued to pour the liquid into the container.

When they finished that, Antiope covered the containers with white paper, wrapping a red ribbon around it. That ended the ritual, but her attitude had only gotten worse.

XXX

21:30

"Cheer up, Diana" Donna said, very encouraged. "What does it matter if the boys from your school saw you?" She asked herself very innocently.

"I envy not having the worries of a teenager" She said, whispering and grumbling.

After the ritual was over, everyone had left, fortunately for her, except for Antiope, who said that she would stay a little longer preparing the drink in the vessels, so she told them to go home. The town was a quiet place, plus her eldest niece could take care of Donna. The two of them wore their ceremonial white dresses neatly folded in their hands.

"I know, you could make more of this drink, ferment it, and then you could earn money to move to a city. You could even have your internet channel or blog about how it's done" Donna told her, sounding more excited than she had before. "You could even call it 'Princess of Themyscira Harvest'. You would be a millionaire" She added, as they walked, raising her arms.

She curiously thought about what the image of her would look like if she did what Donna had just suggested. She would continue with her usual braid and her white dress, with a gold tiara on her head, but she would put the letters of her name in the colors blue and white. However, she knew it was a lousy idea, so she snorted.

"Can't. There are laws against that," she said. Just as Barry thought, her spirit fell from this.

She was fed up with everything. Fed up with the small town, fed up with the traditions that she had to follow, fed up with the life she had to live, fed up with the fame and mockery that she received for being the daughter of the Mayor Princeton. She lived a day like any other, and she was fed up of this.

"That's the problem?" Donna asked.

Before Donna could hear a response, her sister ran down the stairs until she was a few feet away from her.

"I hate this town! I hate this life! Please make me a handsome city boy in my next life!" She yelled into the air.

Donna just shook her head and walked back to her sister. She couldn't believe that her older sister felt this way. Perhaps, when she was a teenager, she would have something similar to her.

"Oh, Diana," Donna said with a sigh.

After this, they returned to her house. They ate quietly and went to sleep. Donna fell asleep very easily, but her sister took over half an hour to sleep. She was upset by all of this, and she knew that she wasn't going to be able to leave this place, at least for quite a long time, or so she thought before she closed her eyes and finally fell asleep.

Alright, how did I do on this first chapter?

As I said before, I was going to do everything possible to change the fic so that many things were not exactly the same. I am convinced that many did not expect me to put Iris, but, this is an AU, and all the other couples did not seem to fit for this fic. Superman and Lois aren't for this, and they living here would be weird, at least for me; Hal and Carol aren't either, John Stewart, Vixen, B'wanna less so, so I feel like she and Barry turned out well. Either way, something tells me you'll be surprised which character I'm going to cast in the next chapter.

Now, I have to clarify the different decisions that I was making regarding certain names and surnames.

I decided to give Diana the last name Galanis, because from what I researched, it means blue, so it's assigned to people with blue eyes, and Diana and her family fit that description pretty well. As you can see, Hades is the one with the last name Princeton, so, seeing how he acts, it's clear why she wouldn't want to have the same last name as him, and leaving "from Themyscira" as their last name is not coherent to me, and les coherent was giving them an American last name if they are Greek, something I will explain in another chapter.

To clarify, I decided to name it the Petropoulos comet, this because it comes from the Greek term for stone or rock, so I had to put something on it that would fit with it. I am confident that this was a good decision.

Other thing was the name of Little Volos. This because, I didn't like every name I checked to replace it, and, on recommendation, I put the name Volos, added to Little, to try to keep the Greek touch.

The next thing is, there was no lore that I could exchange for the ritual. After researching ancient Greek rituals, which include sacrifices or praying to a tree, no offense, I knew I had to do the same to keep the story flowing well. Trust me, if I could have changed the ritual, I would have. Remember, I didn't do it to offend the Greek culture; but, I'm sure this was a good decision.

Well, I think that's all for now. And don't worry, the chapters won't be that long all the time, although I can't say for sure what they will be. But, I hope you like them.

Until the next chapter.
