When these guys bought the farm, no one shed a tear. In fact, we happily rejoiced.
I'm David Ishihara, and me and my associates will be counting down our picks for the Top 10 Most Satisfying Deaths in the Dimensional Heroes Series. For this list, we're taking a look at the characters whose dastardly acts made their demises all the sweeter. And when we say dead, we really mean DEAD. Any immortals confined to a life of eternal solitude, sealed away or buried alive will not be included. This should go without saying, but beware of spoilers ahead.
#10- Philip Dayton L'Eyre Montserrat- Overlord IV
Sometimes, karma just does the work for us. Deluded, egotistic, and doesn't give a damn about anyone but himself, Philip's idiocy proved to be the prime example of how not to deal with Ainz and his cohorts. After raiding a supply caravan that was meant to send supplies to the Re-Estize Kingdom out of goodwill, Philip proceeded to delude himself into believing he is the kingdom's savior. Alas, though, all he really accomplished was destroying everything for the sake of his own vanity when Ainz's Sorcerer Kingdom declared war. And Albedo and Sectonia made sure to save the best part of it for themselves. Reminding him just how royally he screwed up, all Philip could do was scream in terror as these two high-stranded beauties proceed to have their way with him, with no one coming to his aid.
#9- Enmu- Mugen Train
Cold, callous, sadistic… This member of Muzan's Lower Moons has got it all. In an attempt to put the Hero Alliance into an endless slumber, Enmu used his magic to put everyone into a deep sleep and then kill them while they are down. However, a few of them managed to wake up and catch on to his plot. With a bit of quick wit from Sectonia of all people, the awoken Demon Slayers managed to put the kibosh on Enmu's plan and grind it to a screeching halt. Well, that's one train ride the combatants won't be taking anytime soon.
#8- M. Bison- Street Fighter V
Death is kind of a revolving-door for this guy. What with the fact that once his body dies, he can extend his life by transferring his consciousness into other people, and picking up where he left off. Bison's ultimate plan included creating Black Moons to be set on a crash course to Earth, effectively destroying the world. Thankfully, the combined efforts of Rashid's craftiness, Charlie's sacrifice, Hope's determination and a newly-awakened Ryu finally put an end to Bison's machinations for good.
#7- Adam Taurus- Final Fantasy IV: The After Years
RWBY Antagonists dont show up that often in the Color-Verse beyond their own world. But when they do, it's very personal. Snake Charmer brought Adam with him to the Blue Planet as a prisoner, but he ended up escaping so he could take his revenge on Blake, having lost everything. He ambushed Yang Fang's group on a remote island, and gave them quite a handful. But Ursula noted the weak spot in Adam's semblance, and with a back-to-back combo attack, he was set up for Blake and Yang together to finally end his life, taking lots of pressure off Blake's back.
#6- Akemi Suedou- Cyber Sleuth
When dealing with science and technology, chances are corrupt scientists are involved. None can be more true to that than Akemi Suedou. While Crusadermon was in charge of the operation to digitize Tokyo via mind control from Theodore Flux, Suedou was nuttier than a fruitcake, which was made clear to begin with. Taking advantage of the Royal Knights' restoration and the path to the Digital World being open, Suedou sought to merge with the Mother Eater and sought to create a world devoid of sadness. Sachiko, however, had a bit of a thing against him for wiping her memory of a previous incident, so she joined David in laying the smackdown and showing him the cons of attaining God-like power.
#5- Kurozumi Orochi- Raid on Onigashima
While Kaido is a power-hungry warmonger hellbent on ravaging against the World Government with an army of Devil Fruit Users, he is sympathetic in the sense that he is capable of showing honor and respect to those deemed worthy of such. The same cannot be said for Kurozumi Orochi, Wano's corrupt shogun. Being the direct cause of how Wano was run to the ground, Orochi earned the ire of pretty much everyone from the moment they saw him, even without the fact that he resorts to any dirty trick to ensure his rule. True to his namesake, it took the severing of all eight of his heads to finally do away with this heartless snake for good. And like the determined huntress that she is, Cheetah did the honors in grandiose fashion.
#4- Melchior Mayvin- Tales of Berseria
The only member of the Abbey that can be considered malicious, Melchior wastes no time in standing out as such. He not only wouldn't hesitate to turn malakim, including his own, into dragons, but he also took David and Sectonia's armatization techniques with the Tapu Guardians, and replicated it, leading to the deaths of poor Oscar and Teresa. All of that, including supposedly manipulating Artorius into becoming a dictator that would lead to stripping humanity of their free will. Needless to say, David, Sectonia and Connor were none too happy with his deeds, and proceeded to give him the beating of his life before feeding him to Velvet.
#3- Phon- Starlink
It's always the humble ones that end up turning traitor. Dedicated to Theodore's cause, Phon infiltrated the Exploration Depot, sabotaged the ships of anyone that reached Atlas, and basically left them to die. His ruse was eventually discovered by Ace, Vera and Jet on separate occasions, including the deaths of Jet's former comrades. When the time came for Phon to be confronted, all three of them pulled together and blasted him out of the sky like the winged-clipped vulture he revealed himself to be.
#2- Snake Charmer- The After Years
We don't know what it is with this list and snakes, but they seem to be prime targets for cathartic endings. Employed by Theodore to brainwash the Royal Knights into invading Tokyo, Snake Charmer chased down the Brave Adventurers all the way to the Blue Planet in order to retrieve them. During their final confrontation in Baron Castle, David proceeds to use his ice breath to freeze him solid, allowing Omnimon, Leopardmon, and Crusadermon to sever his frozen limbs before shattering him into fragments.
Not quite at the end yet. Almost there, though. Just be sure to leave a favorite, and follow the authors to get notified about their latest adventures. Alright, back to business.
#1- Normal- Jump Force
What is there to say about this guy that hasn't already been said? This emotionless chessmaster was not only the true mastermind behind the Elements' actions, but also influenced the Titans' resurrection and even awakened Galeem and Dharkon. And that's not even getting to that time he tried to merge the fictional and real worlds...or that time he turned a time-traveling associate into a mindless monster. Selfish to the core, and with no moral compass to speak of, David Ishihara was more than happy to waste him with a bullet that erodes his healing factor, and one of the most badass headshots in fandom.
