Spider-Man: Webmaster Season 01 Episode 02
We start out with an image on the main computer screen checking out the information on it and the main with the cane says "It's worse than I thought, it's some kind of new DNA Mutagen, Powers is making some sort of nerve gas." while taking out the drive and looking it over turning towards Terry who was checking out the burple and black suit "Stay away from that."
"Syanpic controls, build in nanofiber for self repairing tears in the suit, built in webshooters, this thing might be old but it's cutting edge." Terry stated wanting to get a better look at it and reaching for the costume.
"I told you not to touch it." The man stated making Terry turn back towards them confused about why.
"But aren't you"No."" Terry began to ask but was cut off by the man refusing to use the costume.
"But Mr. Parker, you built that company and now Powers is making nerve gas there, you gotta do something I mean you're Spider-Man right?" Terry pleaded wanting something done about just what's going on.
"I was Spider-Man. Give this to Captain Stacy, tell her that I sent you." The man, Mr. Parker, stated to Terry.
"The Cops, but they'll never be able to"Do it!"" Terry had began to say but was once more cut off by Mr. Parker.
Terry took the drive saying "Something happened you didn't it?" and walked off to go and take it to the Captain.
As Terry was walking down the street to take the drive to who he was told to there'd been a hovering car that drove past and blocked off his path as he backed up and accidentally bumped into a guy behind him who says "Oops." as the vehicle then landed in front of him.
"Hello Terry, ever ride in a limmo before?" Warren's boss we'd seen on television earlier spoke after rolling down the window.
It was clear that he wasn't buying into the routine and says "My dad always told me to never take rides from strangers."
"Who's a Stranger, besides your dad's not around anymore." Powers spoke about the situation they were in but Terry still wasn't gonna get in. "Be smart Terry, get in."
"I'll pass." Terry stated turning to walk away but the guy behind him tried to grab him and he'd moved out of the way "What re you some sort of sicko?" He'd then questioned and shoved him into the vehicle and denting it in the process.
Terry then ran off jumping off the side of the street grabbing a cable as he was falling causing it to snap and lower him to the ground belown and he'd taken off running managing to get away from them in the process.
We then see that Mr. Parker was eating something watching the tv when he'd heard the dog barking and went to see what was going on finding him tied up to the fence and so he'd thrown something that cut the ropes allowing Ace to run off into the house.
"What's the matter boy?" He'd questioned as the dog went to the entrance to the base below them and started barking so Mr. Parker opened it up and the dog ran down the stairs sniffing as he'd done so and barked at the display case with the purple and black costume missing.
We then jump straight to Terry who was attempting to web swing through the city finding it a little harder than he'd thought it would be but was slowly starting to get the hang of it and landed onto a building nearly falling off of it had it not been for the fact he'd stuck to the wall and climbed up.
He swung off again and up to the building across from Powers' office and glared at them wanting to know just what's going on. Terry swung off to the side of the building where he wouldn't be noticed and had tried to get a better vantage point to hear what was going on and while trying to do so accidentally pressed his index and middle fingers from his left hand onto the glass being able to hear them.
"I trust the film puts to rest any lingering doubts Mr. Egans, as you can see the results are the same. Even with Plants and animals." Powers had been stating to the man in front of them.
"And what about something more advanced than animals like humans an aliens for example?" The man questioned about what he'd done.
"Well, Aliens don't typically live in Neo York, they all prefer Bellwood or the Omnitrix City, and the laws here arren't as liberal about that sort of thing as they are in your country." Power stated to the man and reached into his jacket and pulled out some photos and continued to say "But we did have a little accident "One of my workers, terrible thing. There was a gas leak in his lab." and showed him what happed with the images.
"There is no cure?" The man questioned Powers about the gas that they were discussing about right now.
"Extreme heat or radiation but, at this stage it's sadly not an option for them." Powers answered back showing them the final photo and stating "Dust to dust. Consider what a real dose of this stuff could do to those six armored divisions your neighbors keep on your border." He'd then stated as Powers' right hand man set fire to the photos. "Gone in a matter of hours." Powers then told him throwing photos at the man's feet."
"And Delivery is in progress?" The man questioned getting up from his seat and walking over to Derek Powers.
"My men are loading the cannisters as we speak, they leave tonight on hover transport." Derek stated back about the delivery of what they'd been discussing. "My assistant Mister Fixx will personally supervise the shipment."
"Excelent, Goodbye Mister Powers, I will see you again soon." The man spoke shaking Derek's hand and left the room.
Once the man was gone Powers questions "Mister Fixx, any word on the kid?" while looking over at Fixx with his arms behind his back.
"Not yet, but they're looking." Fixx answered back about what they'd gotten word on so far about Terry.
"I don't have to tell you how important this deal is to Parker-Powers, it's going to open the entire eastern bloc for us and I don't need it spoiled by a snot-nosed punk." Derek stated to them about the deal they were working on.
"I took care of his old man didn't I?" Mr. Fixx questioned which had angered Terry to hear about his dad.
Terry had stood up angry and turned towards the other side of the ledge and had seen some guys poinging guns at him. "Little early for Halloween." One of them stated to him.
"Maybe, but just in time for fall." Terry stated back and let himself fall off of the building and fired some webbing swinging down onto a stree and taking off running to get away as they'd hit the alarms.
Terry had managed to get under one of the partially opened bay doors and was hiding in the shadows as something spoke saying "Mcginnis, can you hear me?" Surprising him to hear someone talking to him. "It's Peter Parker, the guy you stole the suit from after I told you to go to Captain Stacy."
"Look I'll accept any reprocussion for my actions later, I tried to go to the cops but Powers tried to have one of his goons grab me. The guy that killed my father!" Terry stated back about stealing the costume. "I'll bring the suit back, I promise but right now I need it to stop Powers from helping start a war!"
They guards were chasing after him as he was trying to avoid being seen and was able to take down some of the guards jumping up to sit atop a crane impressed with the handy work when more showed up and started firing at him.
"Listen, bring the suit back or I will shut it down permanently with you in it." Peter spoke into the com and Terry had been fighting through the armored guards.
I'd love to but right now I've got these goons on me." Terry stated to him about what's going on where he's at.
"there's a broom closet on the north wall, can you get to it?" Peter asked confusing Terry but he figred it was better than nothing.
Terry had gone into the closet confused and made sure the door shut behind him stating "Now what? I'm a sitting duck in here."
"The far wall, press against it, hard." Peter answered and so Terry goes to do just that with the wall opening up and letting him through flipping in a 180 degree circle and shutting again.
Terry had been escaping and saw that they had no idea about the wall so he wasn't being followed and says "Cool."
"I built the place, remember?" Parker then stated into the com that was built into the mask itself.
"Then you'd know where they'd be loading the hover transport wouldn't you?" Terry questioned about where that would be. "These guys gotta be stopped because that shipment goes out tonight."
"No, I'll call Captain Stacy and then"Listen, I read up on you Mister Parker."" Peter began to say but was cut off by Terry "I know how you'd lost your folks and then how a man took your uncle away, the guy that murdered my dad is on that transport and it's my one chance to nail him!"
"The hoverpads are in the northeast sector." Mr. Parker told him about where to go to stop them and Terry then ran off. "Good luck."
We then see Terry hanging from a wall pointing his two fingers forwards to hear what Powers was saying when something felt off and he'd dropped and used a webline to swing away as he was being shot at and he'd swung into the guys on the ground and crashing into them knocking them over before going over to Powers and Fixx.
"You're out of buisness as of now. And as for you Fixx I'm taking you in for the Murder of." Terry began to say and something felt off again.
He'd turned towards where the arm of one of the loading vehicles was swung into him knocking him over. Though he'd quickly recovered and when they tried to grab him with it Terry had pushed back putting the hydraullics under pressure trying to squeeze and causing them to short out and he'd then thrown one of the folding spider shaped things from the belt thorugh the window and into the guy's head knocking him out.
He was then shot at by Derek Powers and dodged it moving off to hid behind one of the left over cannisters throwing it at them as a distraction, though Powers shot it breaking the cannister and releasing the gas onto himself as the cannister struck him in the head knocking him over.
Terry had then ran off and jumped onto the hover based vehicle that was supposed to be taking the shipments and stuck to the side climging his way up it. Once on top he'd pulled open a hatch and grabbed the two guards inside throwing them into the water below before climbing down and going towards the pilots chair kicking it and preparing to fight but found it empty discovering that it was on Autopilot.
He'd felt something off and turned this time managing to dodge Fixx's electrified knuckles and started trying to fight him off with Fixx stating "You're pretty strong for some clown who thinks he's Spider-Man."
"I am Spider-Man!" Terry told him and shoved them even harder sending Fixx back into the controls and causing him to be electrified in the process.
This caused the controls to go nuts and Terry barely managed to get away as the cannisters began to spill out and the open hatched started to flood after crashing down into the water taking Mr. Fixx along with them.
We then jump to Terry passed out over his bed with the suit hidden barely poking out from under the covers as he'd seemed to have thrown it under the bed and we hear knocking and his mom's voice saying "Terry, honey?" and he'd gotten up quick shoving the costume further under the bed as his mom opened the door saying "Quick, get dressed, we have company."
"Company?" He'd questioned looking over at his mom confused as to who would be there before he'd even gotten up for the day.
"Mr. Peter Parker, he says he's here to see you!" She'd stated seeming a little excited to have a famous buisnessman there in their apartment and shut the door so he could get dressed in private.
"Aww crap. I'm in so much trouble." Terry stated with a sigh and got dressed going to see Mr. Parker.
"I hope oyu don't mind milk, we're out of cream." He'd heard his mom speak to their guest and walked into the living room seeing Peter Parker there taking the drink.
"I prefer it actually thank you." Peter had stated taking the drink that he was offered by Terry's mom and turned noticing Terry stating "Terrance, sorry to get you up so early."
"It's okay." He stated walking further into the room and going over to stand beside his mother who seemed slightly startstruck.
"You never told me you knew Peter Parker." Mary stated to her eldest son about having known someone so important and Peter sat down the drink onto a coaster on the table.
"Well, actually. I"Why I owe this boy my life."" Terry began to say but was cut off by Peter who'd looked up at Mary. "He defended me against a bunch of Hooligans once. I tried to reward him but he absolutely refused."
"Mr. Parker wants to offer you a job." Mary stated to her eldest son about why Peter was sitting there on their couch.
Well he'd seemed a little confused about that and looked over at Pter asking "A Job?" curious what he meant.
"It's not much mind you, with my health problems I could use a part time assistant. You know, like a Gofer. Go for this, go for that, an ally as it were. Would you be interested?" Mr. Parker then stated about what he'd wanted to hire Terry to do.
"Of course he would. Wouldn't you?" Mary answered for Terry because of how that'd be a great opportunity for him.
"Ya actually, it'd be nice to have some money to help mom with the bills and stuff." Terry stated liking the idea of working for them getting the gist of what he was really being hired to do.
"I warn you though, I can be a difficult taskmaster I expect nothing short of excelence from those who work for me." Peter then warned Terry about the job he was being hired for.
"I think I can handle it." Terry answered back about working for him ready to get started on the new job.
"Very good Mr. McGinnis, welcome to my world." Peter spoke using the cane to stand up and holding out his hand and Terry reached back shaking it.
