Spider-Man: Webmaster Season 01 Episode 04
There was an explosions and some guys on jetpacks however Spider-Man had come in and webbed one of them who tried to shoot at him but he'd managed to avoid them and caused the guy to crash into a bilboard. The Webslinger then jumped up and continued his pursuit of the other guys as well. A Second guy tried to slam into him but he'd managed to dodge them and jump onto their back breaking their jetpack and making them crash down atop a building and went to go after the remaining three.
As he was going after them a woman had flown up towards them and tapped their helmet freezing the guy completely making him drop as a guy that looked like a living magma monster had broken off part of the top of a bridge and thrown it at the other two causing their jetpacks to malfunction and the three dropped down with a thrid guy stretching himself out and catching them.
Spider-Man had watched from a distance and questiong "Alright who are these guys now?" wondering if he should worry about them or not.
We then cut to later as the tv had said the three were called the Terriffic Trio calling the lava monster Magma, the stretchy guy 2D Man, and who woman Freon. They also talked about how they were US Government approved, but did not mention the Plumbers.
When they were done talking about them the feed was cut off and Terry says "Guess I'll have more time for my Homework now."
"We'll see. You can head home for now." Peter answered back about him having more time to studdy.
Sometime during the next day we see Terry with his little brother Matt at the mall checking out one of the stores that sold toys, apparel, and varous other trinkets for kids.
"These guys are on everything, they even got Magma underwear." Matt stated about the Trio checking them out.
"Schway." Terry stated not really interested in the stuff but was more just keeping an eye on his brother who was looking around.
"Ya, it's nice to have some clean wholesome government approved heroes that the kids can look up to." One of the workers spoke while moving some stock around.
"Ah, more like terrible twips if you ask me. Spider-Man's the real deal." Matt stated in response dropping the item he was holding not really interested.
"You think?" Terry asked his little brother about his thoughts on the heroes around Neo York City.
"Sure." The kid answered back stating that he thought Spider-Man was better than the rest of the trio.
"C'mon, how about an Icecream. My treat." His older brother stated putting his hand on his younger sibling's shoulder.
"Sure!" Matt answered back excitedly as they began to leave the store together and then questions "What's the catch?"
We then later on see Gossamer flying through the city with Spider-Man inside stating "I dunno why you even bothered to send me out, with the Terriffic Trio around there's not even a purse snatcher in sight." before the scanners picked something up. "Hold on, I'm picking up a hot spot on the infrared."
"A fire?" Peter questioned into the communicator that had been built into the new Spider-Man's mask.
"Or a weenie roast. I'll check it out." He'd answered back and went to take Gossamer down into the building setting down onto a bay part for hover vehicles and got out. "Uh oh."
Hearing that they didn't seem to like what they were seeing the mentor then questioned "What is it?"
"Well it sure ain't smokey the bear." He answred back and then followed the footprints finding some stuff melted into and discovered Magma from the so-called Terriffic Trio there taking something from one of the labs. "Magma, working solo tonight?"
"Out of my way." The government approved supposed hero stated and went to strike at him but his Spider-Sense warned him of this and he'd dodged it and they continued on the move.
Spider-Man then webbed Magma's arm and says "Huh, I didn't thin that'd actually work." not having expected it to actually stick to his arm.
"After dealing with different villains with electrical and fire based powers I had to strengthen the web formula and make it fireproof." Peter stated into the com about having messed with the formula for the webbing.
"Schway, as for you Magma, how about showing a fellow civil servant a little professional courtesy?" Spider-Man stated back to Peter before speaking to Magma.
The large mutated lava man tried to pull Spider-Man but he'd braced and pulled back dragging Magma who'd gotten angry and heated up more managing to snap the webline by doing so and then ran off to the vehicle he used to escape.
"And here I thought he was supposed to be one of the good guys." Terry stated with a sigh before then jumping down and swinging after the vehicle landing onto it and sticking to the surface of the back while Magma continued to fly the vehicle off into their base.
Spider-Man jumped onto a wall and stuck to it watching to see just what exactly is going on right now and when Magma got out and went on the move he'd cralwed after them sticking to the wall and cielings to do so that way he wouldn't be seen.
He'd watched them going through some information showing DNA strands falling appart and some drilling missiles were launched at them with 2D Man questioning "What's going on?"
"It's General Norman, we've been doublecrossed!" Magma told them as the army was attacking their base trying to take it down.
"Now the Army is attacking I thought they were supposed to be the good guys too." Terry stated not getting what's going on as the place was starting to fall appart.
"Terry, get out of there, NOW!" Peter called telling him to get out while he had the chance to, but he'd been hit by some of the debris while doing so and hit the floor with them on top of him. "TERRY!"
The army managed to blow a hole into the wall and proceeded to send in troops to go after the Trio while Spider-Man had been under the rubble and began trying to get up as the trio were fighting back against the assault. He'd managed to do so thanks to his spider strength and then dodged another bit of rubble that'd almost hit him had he not done so and began to head off not sure what side he should be helping.
The Trio managed to escape in their ship but were being persued and was blasted to bits with the Military thinking their job was done and had the remaining forces guarding the entrances as one of them stated "You heard the General, the freaks are history."
Spider-Man however wasn't so easily convinced and saw a metal box with smoke coming from it and says "I don't think so." while looking on over at it.
"The car was a decoy?" Peter questioned from his seat in front of the computer looking to see what he meant.
"See for yourself." He stated moving the box and looking down a hole that had been a melted tunnel. "It's not over yet."
Jumping straight into the action we see Spider-Man jumping down from a cieling and calling out "Party's over!" as he'd shot a couple of those Spiderangs at them though Freon froze them and went to attack him mid freefall.
He'd webbed some of the equipment and swung around it while 2d Man had stretched out trying to block him and launched him into a wall with Freon then freezing his arms to it. Magma then pnched him through said wall and tried to jump on top of him but being a Spider he'd simply used the strength in his legs to throw them into the next room when they tried it.
Spider-Man then got up and was dodging the freezing blasts of Freon with 2d Man going to grab at him but he'd dodged both him and Magam, the latter of whom punched his teammate's head through a wall because Spider-Man had dodged him. Freon then began trying to blast him with her powers again but he'd swung past Magma and 2d Man who'd been caught in her attacks instead.
He managed to get to the Emergency Evacuation Switch and pulled the lever setting off the alarms and opening up the vents psyphoning out the air taking 2d Man with it before then pulling Freon up to the vents and pulling her apart as they'd sucked her up too before shutting. This angered Magma who'd broken the ice around his lower half and then blocked Spider-Man from getting to the controls.
"I gotta shut that thing off, Millions of people will die if I don't!" The wallcrawler stated to Magma "You're a hero remember?"
"No." Magma then answered back about not being a hero before then adding "I'm an accident, real heroes they make a choice. I never did." The other guy that was in the room tried to escape cralwing with the bottom half of his legs still frozen but at least no longer atached to the ground but the living lava being called "No. You're staying here." pointing out at them and then throwing some equipment to block the door.
Spider-Man found the emergency fire hose and blasted Magma with it hardening him in the process and then began to bash him repeatedly in the head and body knocking him back and leaving him to harden completely and then managed to hit the emergency shutoff switch on the device that they were trying to set off.
He'd then pushed the Rubble away from the door before asking the man there with ice on his legs "Satisfied?"
"No." They'd answered back saying that he wasn't "You don't understand, I was their friend." Feeling guilty about everything.
Spider-Man however just began to walk off through the door to go to the exit calling "Right." not believing that they could have ever been friends given what all had happend with the Trio.
