At school Bart was religiously studying and keeping his grades up. He even signed up for tutoring to Lisa's dismay. "What are you doing, Bart?" "I'm trying to get better grades." "You never cared before." "I have a goal to care about." "What goal?" "Mom made me a deal, if I improve my grades and behave, I can convert." Lisa nodded.
She had no problem with Bart converting. The requirements weren't fair to him, though. Everyone should be able to choose what religion they are. "What if I tutor you?" "You'd really do that for me?" Bart practically yelled. "Thank you! Thank you!" Lisa was questioning her sanity, Bart wanted to do well in school? Well, she better knuckle down as this was important to her brother.
A month later, Marge sighed. She was really hoping Bart would forget about their deal, but he didn't. His grades were somehow all Bs and his behavior was remarkable. At dinner, Homer and Marge looked at their son. Homer wasn't too worried about Bart becoming Catholic, but Marge was. Would she have any kid in heaven with her? "Bart." "Yes, mom?" "Your grades and behavior has met the requirements of our deal, you can become Catholic." Marge was surprised to be taken into a hug by her son. "Thanks mom!"
