Spider-Man: Webmaster Welcome To The Cluster - Part 1
There were some clowns with pointed ears trying to steal some large piece of tech when they'd noticed a shadow swinging above them and looked towards who was casting it as Spider-Man had been sitting atop one of the large crane hooks.
"It's a school night boys and girls, I'm gonna have to call your folks." The webslinger stated to them ready to fight.
One of them tried to fly the lift tool he was on into Spider-Man but he'd jumped on top of it and started easily dodging when the guy tried to punch him making them get mad and start spinning out of control but Spider-Man just stood there at the end of it waiting for them to get dizy as the twins who had their faces and hair done up like Raggedy Ann dolls were hanging on for dear life.
"Bonk don't!" One of the twins called out trying harder to stay on the machine as he was flying wild.
"Ya Bonk, don't." Spider-Man stated though you couldn't see his face the eyes of the mask showed a clear smug sortta look.
One of the other guys shot at him and Spider-Man jumped off of the machine throwing a Spiderang at them and cut it into the gun that the other guy had been using and he'd had to ditch it fast as it exploded just after he tossed it away. The wallcrawler then landed next to them and punched him off of the machine.
Bonk had landed and went after them while Spider-Man jumped up to where the guy that looked sorta like a scarecrow had been and easily took him down before then jumping off of the devince onto the guy that looked more like a hyeena than anything kicking them away.
Once of the twins tried to use a taser device on him but Spider-Man had dodged stating "I don't think so." before then grabbing her and throwing her into the other twin with ease.
"Let's go, Dee Dee open the door!" The guy in pink called out to the twins saying they should just go already while the hyeena guy tried to fight the wallcrawler.
"On the double!" They both spoke together and ran off to controls with one of them hitting the switch and the other getting into another of those lift machines.
They'd managed to steal a large piece of tech while the webslinger was dealing with the scarecrow guy and the hyeena guy and he'd managed to beat them before jumping on down into the tube they'd escaped thorugh.
Once out he'd used his webbing to swing after them as one of the twins calls "Incoming." gesturing to him.
The other twin tried to kick him but he'd dodged them and punched Bonk in the face making him disengage the lift to try to fly after him making it too heavy and causing the other two to start to drop the heavy large device.
When the twin that was riding with Bonk tried to attack as they got close Spider-Man had let go of his webbing dodging and that caused her to start to fall off towards the ground with the other twin noticing and also dropping the device to go after here.
The Webslinger fired a Web that stuck to her boot leaving the girl dangling until her sister got to them and he'd let go as Bonk tried to attack him but he'd kicked them off back to the seat of the lift. As they were doing this the device had crashed down hard onto the street and began to spark. Bonk tried to attack again but Spider-Man jumped and Bonk got knocked off the lift by a flagpole and without a driver the lift crashed and exploded.
The Device had rubble crash down onto it and exploded as the Goblinz crew managed to get away with Spider-Man seeing the damaged caused by everything and says "That ain't coming out of my allowance."
We then later on see Spider-Man bringing Gossamer into the Nest through a special opening and Peter questions "How did it go with the Goblinz?"
"I broke up the robery but it was weird." Answered the wallcrlawer as he took of his mask before continuing to say "Third time this month that Particular gang was trying to intercept high-tech machinery. Goblinz don't use that stuff."
"They're probably fencing it, corporate espionage is big business." Peter stated back about what they were probably up to.
"I may as well sit tight until I can get another shot at them. Maybe work on those designs for the new costume a bit more while I'm at it." Terry stated back going over to the main computer that they used noticing the news was playing on it and says "Hey lookie here." While unmuting it.
"ork billionaire Peter Parker stunned the financial world with plans to resume active leadership of Parker Industries after Powers' sudden departure for parts unknown." The anchor was stating through the feed. "While shareholders were generally welcoming to Parker's return some board members were still generally luke warm. Opperations Manager Jordan Pryce had this to say."
The feed then cut to the man in question who says "I of cource join the rest of our Parker Industries family in welcoming back our founder Peter Parker. Still, the day to day rigors of running a vast multinational conglomerate will be stressful, let's hope that with his health the way it is that Mr. Parker is capable of handling it."
Terry turned off the feed and switched it over to the new suit design instead stating "He's not bitter.. much." while working on how the different parts would function along with the design patters and such.
"Pryce was next in line to take over, my return torpedoed all that." Peter answered back gently scratching Ace's ears.
"You gonna keep him on?" Terry then questioned while rubbing his chin thinking about the design and tried having some spiders on the arms down towards the wrists and some pointed blades that stuck out a little.
"If he'll stay on my terms. If not then he can start sending out his resume." Peter answered making the blades smaller and more like spikes on the design while they got a 360° look at the design as it was slowly coming along.
"Maybe we should lose the old web patterns across the stitching, make it one solid color." Terry suggested while continuing to make alterations to the costume.
The next night the two were out at a social gathering as a woman had come up saying "Good evening Mr. Parker."
"Miss Carr. You remember my assistant, Terry McGinnis." Peter then introduced to the woman.
"Of course, it's nice to see you again." The woman, Ms. Carr spoke shaking Terry's hand before then gesturing for them to walk with her. "Everyone is here except for Mister Pryce. That does include your special request guests as well."
"Special request guests?" Terry questioned just who that would bee as the see Police Captain Gwen Stacy there talking to a larger man with a silver head guard around him.
"Peter, hey. It's nice to see you finally starting to act like your old self again after twenty years." The man spoke with a wave.
"Hey Johnboy glad you can actually get away from Senator duties to come welcome me back to the office." Peter then answered back before turning to Terry stating "This is Senator John Jameson Junior, and Police Captain Gwen Stacy."
"It's nice to meet you." Terry spoke a little surprised to meet them and held out his hand to shake in greeing.
"So, you're the new guy." Johnboy stated shaking his hand greeing him. "Having fun swinging all over the city for Peter?" He'd then questioned with Terry raising an eyebrow.
Terry got the message and says "A little difficult at first, but I got a sense for it after a couple of tries."
John then nodded in response to that before Gwen Stacy turned to speak with them and says "John was just telling me about how Randy's doing."
"Is that so?" Peter questioned curious to hear just how things are going for them since he hadn't seen them in a long time.
"Seems Randy finally got tired of Sally's attitude and finally called it quits for good." John answered as another man walked over towards them.
"And the best part about that, Randy made sure to get a prenup singed before the marriage." The new guy spoke about the conversation before adding "The only thing Sally has any claim to is that guady furniture and the car."
"Terry, this is Flash Thomson. I'm sure Eddie is around here somewhere too." Gwen spoke about who this guy was and looked around for another guy.
"Closer than you guys think." Another blond stated walking over to greet them. "So, you're the new guy huh? Name's Eddie Brock, Peter's my little bro."
Terry looked at Peter confused but also still took the time to shake the hands that were offered to him and Peter says "Not so little anymore. I gotta head to the stage."
Once Peter had gone to the stage Ms. Carr was at the platform and the lights dimmed with a spotlight being put on her as she says "May I have your attention please? It's my pleasure to welcome back this company's guiding light Peter Parker."
