"I made this?"

Dimentio had no idea who this was, but he had seen her face before. Seeing the Oni version of Olive reminded him of that lady, but he had no clue why.

"Um...yes."

"I made a thing!" She was very happy about whatever it was she had created.

"Are you going to take your child?!"

Child? She had reached for the person Dimentio was seeing through. It was as if he was the child of this...person.

Wait.

She had horns, and three tails. She was an Oni Sprite! But, who was she? Dimentio had never seen his mother before, so it couldn't be her.

Right?

"So, why do you want me back? Did you miss my charm? Or was it my looks you couldn't get enough of?"

"Ew, hardly! And also, ew!" Em said.

Dimentio rubbed his eyes. The strange vision-like daydream ended, Em and Oni-Olive returning to the room.

"Did you find a way to get my memories back? Do you need your mother's eye back?"

"Hm? Oh, no. We um...we wanted to ask you so questions."

He sighed heavily. "Fine, go ahead. Why am I tied to a chair, though?"

Dimentio recalled the face of the person in his daydream. She had white hair, just as he was told his mother did. Her eyes were closed, so he was unable to see the color. Her tails had fires on the ends of them, and Oni-Olive had mentioned something about Dimentio's mother being a Fire Oni. If it was his mother, where was the other parent? If it was right after he was born, how come he remembered it so clearly?

Had his memories been tampered with?

Em was speaking when Dimentio started paying attention to the conversation again. "What's a memory that you remember? Any memory. That might give us a clue on how to help you with your other ones."

He closed his eyes. "Hmm...A memory? I remember being feared. There was this lady...but I don't remember much details. I can't even make out the face."

"Anything about this memory you remember besides her?"

"She said...something. After she finished, she held out her hand and everything went dark." His smiled returned, as he had not been smiling while explaining the memory. "Are you satisfied?"

"Sounds like a banishing curse. But Oni Sprites were unable to learn that spell, so that rues out anyone in that category. Power-less Sprites had no magic, so they also couldn't have done that."

"Black Rose..." Dimentio said.

"Do you think so?"

"If it was somebody she couldn't control, then she probably would have banished them."

"Are you alright, Didi? You sound upset."

"I'm fine." He said that quite aggressively, hinting that he was indeed not fine.

"Hey, Oni boy. Mind telling me what else on you is Oni? I'm starved."

"Are you," Dimentio looked around, "talking to me?"

"Who else had an Oni eye? Are you gonna answer or not?"

He pat himself up and down. "I don't think I do?"

"You're boring." He faced Em. "What about you?"

Em shook his head.

The Oni stood and broke the ropes, letting the chair fall to the floor. "Well then, I'll go find an Oni. I am so hungry..." His breathing became heavy and he started drooling. "Where can I find an Oni around here?" His hands were shaking lightly. He cleaned off his face and when he swiped the drool off his hand, it hit the floor and burned a small hole in it.

"Olive's going to come back, right?" Dimentio asked.

"Um, hello? Did you go deaf or something?" Em asked. "He said he wasn't coming back, REMEMBER?!" He waved his hands.

"Oh...so he's keeping true to that." Dimentio rubbed his arm. Why did he feel bad? He was being truthful!

Right?

"Hey, what's guy have to do to get some food around here?! If nobody's going to tell me where to find an Oni, I'll find one myself!"

"We don't have Oni in this world," Em explained.

He looked very disappointed. "Then why don't we go to another world then? I know portal boy over there can go to different dimensions and whatnot." He snapped his fingers at Dimentio. "Hey, magic boy! You hear me, don't you?"

"Oh, about that...my magic was weakened a lot so..."

"Get me an Oni, or I'll have to resort to eating one of you." He was holding his gut again.

"Okay, okay! Yeesh!"
